My name is Syed Mohammed Moshfiq, and I am writing to bring to your attention a concerning experience my family and I had recently.
On January 20, 2023, we visited Nesto Market, where a salesperson from Swiss Travel and Tourism approached us with an offer to participate in a lottery. My father provided his contact information, and to our surprise, we received a message the next day informing us that we had won a dinner set and a two-night stay at a 3-star hotel.
Excited about our prize, we visited Royal View Hotel in Ras Al Khaimah, where representatives from Swiss Travel and Tourism shared details about their 10th-anniversary promotion. They identified themselves as a legitimate tourist and tourism company, offering a 7-day trip to a neighboring country for a stay and experiences.
Convinced by their presentation, we paid 7,000 dirhams for the package. The transaction seemed legitimate as we received a check, and upon returning home, I accessed their website (http://www.swisstravelandtourism.com) using the provided credentials. Everything appeared genuine, and I even found Swiss Travel and Tourism on various social media platforms, further reinforcing our belief.
Fast forward to 11 months later, as I planned to utilize the holiday package, I encountered a major setback. The website is now inaccessible, displaying an error message stating, "This site can't be reached." Alarmed by this development, I attempted to contact them, but both the email and phone number provided seem invalid.
After conducting some research, I discovered that this might be a case of tourism scam, leaving me deeply concerned about the authenticity of the company we dealt with. I possess evidence, including contact details, recorded conversations, and a video documenting the transaction
