My daughter and I were due to fly with Swoop on March 19th, but plans changed.
My daughter and I were due to fly on Thursday March 19th with Swoop. Anticipating the closure of borders due to Covid-19, I preemptively changed our flight to October. Despite multiple attempts, I couldn't reach Swoop by phone and had to change the flights online, incurring fees of $500 on March 13th. Shortly after, Swoop allowed customers to change flights without fees due to the pandemic. When I called to request a refund for the charges, a supervisor named Dan sympathized but refused to issue a refund or credit. Given that non-essential travel was banned and we couldn't have flown as Canadian citizens, I believe a refund is justified and that the policy should apply to my situation as well.
