My wife and I were very disappointed with BD&A Realty, and the Realtor we got stuck with, Tara Burlage. She was always late to our appointments and was nearly impossible to get a hold of. As first time home buyers, we were unfamiliar with the process of buying a home and would have really appreciated someone who was more attentive with us. I would NOT recommend her to anyone and suggest to all home buyers to be very selective when choosing a real estate agent to work with because they make money off of y0ur life changing purchase. Make sure the real estate agent you go with is worth it; Tara Burlage is not worth it!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
well now you dont have to worry about it, ###. she died yesterday. sucks to see a complaint about her. she was a very vivacious and successful real estate agent. maybe you were just wasting her time.
and one more thing...if that idiotic comment made you feel better, go ahead & break your arms patting yourself on the back. just know that in no way, did it hurt her business. hope you're off the outer banks.
I happened to be searching for Tara's obituary and came upon this complaint and couldn't help but respond. I couldn't disagree more with this complaint! Tara was our realtor when we purchased our home in Corolla (Dec. 2011). She was extremely attentive, on time, and easy to get a hold of. She offered a wealth of information about buying a home in the OBX. Tara was of extreme help throughout the entire buying process and continued to be our link to the Outer Banks up until her passing. She was an amazing person who we are grateful to have worked with and known.
Oops...just to clarify...we purchased our home in Dec 2010.
if you don't know anything about the process of home buying, how do you know the difference between a bad or a good realtor? you're nothing more than a couple of little pisswipes, angry, and on the road to divorce, with nothing better to do than to take your hatred for each other out on a person like Tara. i hope you and your ###ing house get [censored]d beyond repair by this storm. oh, and btw, of the hunreds of clients she serviced, you and you alone are the only whiners. YOU SUCK.
Well duh!
A realtor's availability/etc. is DIRECTLY proportional to their potential income. Unfortunately this reality is exaggerated here on the Outer Banks due to several factors such as a soft market, a glut of realtors, greed, silver spoon syndrome, etc..
To the OP, I sympathize.
