I got a remote starter put in my truck from TAS Electronics, Inc. Unfortunately, they put in the wrong one and it messed up my ignition system. They had my truck for almost two months, which was a real pain. I had to rent a car for $240 a week and paid $100 for an expert to tell me that the problem was with the remote starter unit that TAS said had nothing to do with it. I even called the manufacturer and they confirmed that the wrong unit was put in and it could short out my ignition system. I had to get AAA to tow my truck in for $8. TAS said they would fix it, but it took them two months to do it. I asked if I could get reimbursed, but they just laughed.

I bought a car starter from TAS Electronics for my Grandma, but it caused her car to die. We had to get a switch installed, which made things harder. We paid to have it removed, but TAS said they could fix it. However, my Grandma didn't want any more trouble. A year and a half later, I took over the car and went back to TAS to have the starter reinstalled for $107. But after 4 months, the car started dying again. TAS said it was the starter and changed the motherboard, but it died again 4 days later. I had to make multiple trips to TAS and leave my car there. They pulled the fuse and checked the wiring, but now I have to buy a newer starter.

I gave TAS Electronics, Inc. almost $2,000 to put a sound system in my truck and install strobe lights. They quoted me $199.95 for labor and materials for the strobe lights, which I paid at the time of installation, but they said they needed to order the lights. When I came back a few weeks later to get the lights installed, they told me I needed to leave my truck for the day so they could give me a quote for installation. I was upset because they didn't tell me installation was extra when I paid for the sound system and strobe lights. When I opened the box for the lights, they were small and not worth the $200 I paid. I asked for my money back, but they refused and called me a liar. I talked to another employee who said he would contact regional and call me back, but he never did. I want my $199.95 plus $15 for supplies refunded because I didn't receive the product or supplies.
