Pollack and Rosen went to court to file a judgment in 1997 against my husband for Columbia Medical Center. Our son had emergency surgery and we did not have medical insurance for him. In 2006 they went back to court and filed to have the judgment vacated. We were very surprised but it was accepted by the court and I believe that made the judgment null and void.

Just received a letter today in the mail Dec 2008 that they are attempting to collect on the judgment!

Can they reinstate a judgement without notifying the court or taking legal action to notify us before doing this? Is this illegal?

pollack and rosen are a bunch of underhand debt collectors. they claimed to have made attempts to contact me about a debt that i missed two payments on and have been trying to contact them about getting the payment arrangments lessened. they claimed to have sent information to my home and contacted me by phone and even claimed they spoke to me to agreed to lower the payments. i have kept records of every payment made to them and the fact that i have spoken to only one person there. They said they were going to freeze my account (i am a single mother with direct deposit) and garnish my pay check, they even added interest on the debt that whiped cancelled out the payments that i already made. CAN THEY REALLY DO THE THINGS THEY WERE GOING TO DO IF THAT IS MY ONLY SOURCE OF INCOME?

Pollack and Rosen are full of ###! Them f***ers sitting around for 10yrs waiting for money to show in my account. No letters, calls, emails nothing. Then all of a sudden them ### see that I have money in my account and they send a letter to the bank to freeze the money. Once again no notice of any kind. It took they f*** ### 2weeks to even send a letter saying they put a hold on my account. Talked to someone finally and all I had to do was sign a agreement and send it back and everything would be released within the week. Its been 6 weeks. No response, No release nothing. So basically they LIE, have no knowledge of whats going on in the office. Oh yea I called to see if they had received my fax his response " It goes to the mail room" I called everyday for a week asking if they received my fax. Same response every time it goes to the mail room. GET OFF YOUR LAZY ### AND GET MY MONEY MUTHAf***AS!

The best advise I have is : Request for Production of Documents. They have 30 days to respond once this is sent to them via certified, return receipt mail. Don't forget to sent it to the judge who is hearing your case and have it filed with the court. If they don't respond within 30 days, file Motion to Compel. For the most part, they are trying to collect a debt that they bought however, you did not sign a contract with them. Their primary goal is to get you so worked up that you shut down. Don't. Good Luck.

I need guidance. I had a credit card with Capital One. I never applied for it but I use it for approximately 4 years. Later I got a payout imposed by my employer and I could not continue making the payments to Capital One. I tried to have something worked out with them but they were unable to help.
Like 2 years later I got a letter from the court and from Pollack & Rossen so I replied to both of them requesting proof of ownership they did not replied back. 2 or 3 years have passed by and now the court send a new letter saying the case is about to closed and be dismissed.
So Pollack and Rosen just mailed me copies of all my statements. They have attempted to send me certified letters that I have not signed for and they have been returned. My court date is for beginning of February. What should I do?

I received a deposition letter from pollack and rossen for a judgment I had 6 years ago. To avoid the deposition I called them and they offer me an agreement reducing 60% of the total due (they have already add more interest than the final judgment amount) making automatic payments from my checking account of $100.00 for 12 months. They also promised to send the letter with this information. I agree with this and they took already money from my account for 5 months. The Confirmation letter never came so I called to see where is the letter and how much was my balance. Now they telling me that they don't have anything about the agreement and that I was due the all initial total amount. They said they record calls but they were not able to listen my call. They were very disrespectful and didn't let me talk. I canceled my bank account and I don't go to pay anything. They are just so bunch of liars. Don't agree with them for anything without receiving proof of the agreement even if they said they need to close the agreement right away or they will no be able to help you. Any way the really never going to help you

I have never had an issue with vultures coming after me for my debt; however, most of my debts have been charged off...then...SUDDENLY, out of nowhere, I start getting sued for old debts. They're rude and condescending and will bold-face lie about the options that an individual has before them. One pr*** lawyer tried to tell me I could only pay X amount, despite having poverty wages yet not having the ability to pay more. They are willing to make people lose their jobs/be homeless for debts that have been written off by other creditors, or may as well be. Of course, I am not as smart as a LAWYER with my non-ivy league edumacation, but I did recognize that it is not your old creditors seeking out the firm; its the firm doing public records searches to see who has old debts; then, as it may appear, they solicit your old creditors in an effort to make money off of YOU. Take heed! Yet another example of the upper middle class keeping the 99 pecent down. F$%$ you!

POLLACK AND ROSEN called us made us pay for a deposit for a debt that was NOT IN DEFAULT, but they threatened us with taking us to Court and we were on our citizenship process so we were scared this could affect us; so we paid and all the debt we had initially with Dell was paid in full the first 15 months after we bought the camera; but P&R still continue to withdraw our bank account three more years! Not happy with that they just "bought " the same account with Dell and are suing us for non payment? After they have taken 2 and a half times the initial amount they want more? We are going to trial to show who they are; don't care if you guys are lawyers, but you should be behind bars!

When an account is written of it for the purpose of the creditors to reconcile their books it by no means you don't have to pay it. In Florida a judgment is 10 years and can be renewed to 10 more. Just the facts. I'm not a collector. But you say they what about the 1000's of debtors who lie?

I am on a site called Credit Sesame all of the sudden I get as notification concerning a debt. I contact the parties concerned and end up dealing with Pollack and Rosen and was told they filed a suit against me and attempted to serve me with a notification in 2017 at my old address. They claim I was ignoring their requests but how am I ignoring a request I didn't know I received? I had to move out of my previous residence due to a rat infestation the landlord refused to deal with. So how is that me ignoring anyone? Now they tell me if I don't pay 50 a month even though I can't afford it they now know my new address and will go back to the courts if I don't. It is 2018 how can the case even still be open after a year?

Pollack and Rosen is the company that collected my money from an alleged debt that I never knew I had. They have been charging for a year and months and this came to me from the court that my debt was collected since March 03, 2022. But Pollack and Rosen continue to collect my money from my biweekly check, which I have already paid 1800 of the debt of more than I've tried to communicate with them and I can't. They're jerks disguised as lawyers. They are committing fraud by overcharging and they are not able to return the extra money and you make a claim and they do not answer or send you a message. They are good at charging but not at returning the extra money they stole.
