I made an account to try out the website. I found a woman to be interesting and we became close as we were connected with similarities. But something didn't seem right, there were times where the persons way of speaking changes, I noticed these small details often.
There is a list you have to go through in order to ask the other person for Contact Exchange Request. I did what was required on the list and requested contact exchange. Contact Exchange Requests take up to 7 business days. I waited and asked the person I was talking to about this request and if it she received it in her email. She didn't see it and I made another request. I had the person I was speaking with contact customer support to figure out what the issues was.
September 27 I made the second request and it was approved within 4 days. What I was concerned about is that for contact exchange you get the persons personal email and personal phone number. But all I got was the persons email, in which I thought had to be a scam. I looked up the email service and find that it's with Proton. I've never heard of this email platform. The woman and talked for about a week and she hasn't responded for 3 days now. I've begun looking up the photos she sent me during our time talking. I've found some photos to be of someone entirely different. Another thing is that there a gift center in the website, where you can send real gifts. They take pictures of themselves with the gift. I have a photo of the woman and she matches with all the pictures she sent me where her face shows. I spent over $2,500 on this website and feel I've been scammed royally. I think what they are doing is making up different female users and collecting the money from those that are paying for credits in order to communicate with other users. Everything about the website I've found suspicious. Yeah, I spent a lot of money, but that's not what bothers me. What bothers me is that it's a very good lie they are putting on and it makes you want to risk spending more money. They have you verify your identity with ID photo and a questionnaire asking about criminal backgrounds with abuse, child abducting, drug use, etc. very well organized questionnaire so it would make someone think that they are legit. As with sending real gifts, you can write a letter and they have in the photo of them with the gift is the letter you wrote. But they write the letter out on plain paper in horrible handwriting. But the photo IS of the person I'm talking to. So it makes things difficult because when I start thinking it was a scam, the photo of the person makes me feel like it's not a scam.
Desired outcome: I just want repayment of my money I spent on the website. I feel I've been tricked.
I don't think the communication is authentic at all. Not one bit. I'm upset that I was referred to your website and thought highly of it. But now I see that your website has many loopholes. This website needs to be shut down
