I've been trying for a while now to get The Republican to stop delivering the town reminder to my property, but they haven't been very responsive. Every time I reach out, they tell me it will stop in 3-5 days, but it's been 2 months and they're still littering my property with their trash.

Springfield Republican hasn't been delivering our paper for the past 3 days, specifically on October ***th. I've called them multiple times, but still no sign of the paper. They keep promising to send it, but it never arrives. This isn't the first time we've had issues with not receiving our prepaid paper in 2022.
Let me start by saying that this complaint has nothing to do with our daily paper carrier!
Let me start by saying that this complaint has nothing to do with our daily paper carrier! Our problem lies with the Sunday Republican delivery. Lately, there have been multiple instances where the Sunday paper either doesn't show up or, in one instance, was found on the street one house away. We've called circulation several times to report this issue. Every time, we get the same response: "Your paper will be delivered today." However, that's not always the case. On one occasion, we didn't receive it until Monday. We've been told that this problem has been reported to a supervisor at The Republican, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Maybe the ComplaintsBoard.com can help us get in touch with someone who can actually assist. Thank you, *** and

I keep getting this free paper from The Republican without asking for it
I keep getting this free paper from The Republican without asking for it. They just throw it in my driveway every week. I called the number on the front of the paper [protected] two times, and they said they would stop delivering it. I also sent three emails to the email address on the front of the paper [protected]@repub.com. On the third time, which was on 3/10, I got an email back saying, "The Reminder is not our publication, but you can try finding their contact info on their website." I have two other emails from them saying they would make sure to stop delivering it and to call the number above if I had any more concerns. I didn't ask for this paper and I don't want it. It's pretty annoying that I had to contact them five times since January 6th.
I started getting the Reminder thrown in my driveway about a year ago
I started getting the Reminder thrown in my driveway about a year ago. Since I didn't ask for it, I called the stop delivery number, ***) 11 times in the past 12 months, but it hasn't stopped! Three weeks ago, I tried a different approach and emailed them at their Stop Delivery email address (***). The next day, I received an email from *** RE: Restaurant Contact Form saying that it would be stopped within 8 to 10 business days. However, for the past 3 weeks since that email, they have continued to send me TWO Reminders thrown in my yard and driveway. I'm really frustrated and asking for any help you can give to stop this, as all 11 times I called, I spoke with a different person and none of them have been able to stop this annoying situation. I appreciate any help or assistance you can provide. Thank you.
I canceled the newspaper subscription for 7 days
I canceled the newspaper subscription for 7 days. I live in my dad's home, but he passed away. The newspaper was never delivered to the door, and when it snowed, I couldn't find it on the tree belt. I asked them to please put it on the porch, but it didn't happen, so I canceled it. I need a check for $293.00 made out to his estate. The credit card was closed when he died. I made my first call on January 10th to Albert, who said he would mail the check in 3 weeks, but I never received it. I called again on February 2nd to Marsha, but still no check. On my third call, I spoke to Emily and the supervisor, who said they only mail checks on Fridays. It should have been mailed on March 18th, but I still didn't receive it. On my fourth call, I spoke to Hector on March 29th, but he didn't know why the check hadn't arrived. They always give the same excuses and ask me to wait for more weeks. I got frustrated and hung up. On my fifth try, on April 5th, I spoke to Ray, who checked my phone history and said they called back on March 29th, but I didn't see any missed calls or messages. They keep saying they're sorry and that they'll get me a refund. They ask me to patiently wait each time. To me, this check should just be mailed immediately. My dad has been their customer since 1961. If we owed them money, they wouldn't send the paper anymore, but it doesn't seem to work the other way around. I'm tired of dealing with them. I'm currently preparing the house to be sold, and I wanted the refund to be added to his estate account. Thank you for your assistance. *** - daughter - head of estate. The payment was made by credit card, and I can locate the details if needed. That's not the issue; it's just about getting it processed so I don't have a download at this time.
We've been subscribed to The Republican for 18 years
We've been subscribed to The Republican for 18 years. They say they don't know how many papers they owe us for Vacation Hold (around $234.00). We've subscribed to The Republican for 18 years, paying about $13.00 per month. Recently, when we asked about the number of papers owed to us for Vacation Hold, the Customer Service Agent said they had no idea and directed us to the Independent Contractor/Delivery Agent. When we called them, he said he didn't have access to those records. He just delivered the paper. He wasn't even our contractor the whole time, and different people deliver on Thursdays and Sundays. We've tried to resolve this directly with The Republican, but they claim they can't know how many papers we put on hold (for vacation or business travel). How can they offer a way (phone and website) to put papers on hold without mentioning that you need to keep your own records for reimbursement or future papers? It's deceptive and dishonest, and we can't get any satisfaction from anyone at The Republican. The Contractor was kind enough to offer us 2 months of extended delivery after The Republican said our only option was to cancel and make arrangements with the Delivery Person (who we don't hold accountable in this case). Over 18 years, at $13.00 per month, we're owed over $234.00 (not including the tips we gave the delivery person every year). We've been treated as if we have no other choice, and The Republican ignores the fact that what they're doing is deceptive. We've called multiple times and eventually canceled, but I can't accept the idea that this Newspaper thinks it can keep our money for services they never provided. We've paid on time every year and never missed a payment. Ever. We find out afterwards that you can put your paper on hold, but you somehow have to justify how many papers you're owed (with no way to get reimbursed). This is happening to businesses in our community, Senior Citizens, and all their constituents, with no recourse or knowledge that they're engaging in this kind of fraudulent activity. To simplify, you can buy our product (the paper), we give you a way to put it on vacation hold, but we never tell you that the money just disappears due to their inability to track or their indifference to this process.
