Zebra Rocks
I couldn't have been more excited about going into The Zebra for my car insurance! I had seen the commercials so many times and didn't give it much thought until my insurance came up for renewal and I had to make a change and how much more I had to pay.
The agent with Zebra was very easy going and very helpful. I can't believe how much I'm saving a month(150.00) by going to The Zebra. I immediately changed and the process was very easy.
Thank you Zebra!
A very pleasant experience
I've been searching for a new insurance provider for a while and was disappointed by the quotes I had received from other companies. I tried out Zebra and Blake Trew was extremely helpful, professional, and patient with me. He answered all of the many questions I had, always with a joyful demeanor, and left me feeling confident in my insurance choices. If I ever need to switch my policy in the future I will be sure to return to the Zebra based off of my experience.

I have nothing else to say but GREAT, GREAT, GREAT! Zebra saved me around 1900. 00 on a 6month policy. I will never go anywhere else but Zebra. The Rep was wonderful he made sure to get me the best and cheapest full coverage possible. I have no complaint what so ever. Keep up the good work yall AWESOME. A VERY BIG THANK YOU SO MUCH! I will be calling to have another policy switched to Zebra. Guys I'm telling you this is a GREAT company try it you will not regret it!
Saved me almost 75% of what I was paying before
After Progressive raised my rates to an unaffordable amount, The Zebra gave me a quote that was a third the price. When I called to complete my purchase, the rate was $30 less than the quoted price, and I am happy to say that they've got a customer for life. Thank you so much for saving me money and providing the same, if not BETTER, insurance than Progressive. The negative reviews are more than likely people who failed to do research or have poor driving records. I'm more than happy with the switch! Thank you!
Great Service
After filling out a few details I was given an estimate and a number to call based on my preferred selection of quotes. The first two selected company's quoted didn't pan out, but the 3rd one did, as they say 3rd time is a charm. I was connected with Ian Van Hoose my insurance, and he worked brilliantly at getting me the perfect policy to fit my needs. It was like talking to an old friend as he skilfully guided through the labyrinth insurance nuances to find the perfect policy, making it the easiest part of my car buying experience. Well done Zebra!
Best choice for me and anybody looking for variety and choice
I had called a couple of local agencies trying to get auto insurance and wasn't presented a whole lot of options, was told a Progressive policy for $110 a month (liability only) was the best option I had but Progressive wouldn't accept my bank/payment, then they tried to have me set it up on my daughter's account because they (Progressive) liked her bank. WTH? I looked up Zebra, was given quite a variety of choices and companies and found a policy covering the same basic liability for more than $30 cheaper a month. I will recommend your company to anybody looking to actually get a good deal. Thanks, Zebra!
The Zebra: Affordable and Reliable Insurance with Exceptional Customer Service
I was trying to renew my auto insurance policy with the same company I had before. But, my insurance had just expired that same day at 12. To renew my policy, they wanted me to pay the full amount upfront. That's when I decided to go online and check out thezebra.com.
I was pleasantly surprised by the helpfulness and kindness of the agent who assisted me. He stayed on the phone with me until an agent was available to help me. Finally, my process began. I was able to bundle my auto and renters insurance for a cheaper price than what I was paying for only auto insurance with other companies.
Everyone I talked to at The Zebra was very knowledgeable about their products and made buying insurance so easy. I have never felt so good and comfortable about purchasing auto insurance. I will definitely shop with The Zebra in the near future.
Overall, I had a great experience with The Zebra. They made the process of buying insurance easy and stress-free. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for affordable and reliable insurance.
The Zebra Review: Not a One-Stop-Shop for Car Insurance Quotes
but I was sorely disappointed. The Zebra claimed to be a one-stop-shop for car insurance rates, but it fell short of that promise.
When I first landed on the website, it seemed user-friendly and easy to navigate. I appreciated the simple design and straightforward instructions. But as I entered all of my personal information, I was disappointed to find that it only generated one quote for me. The other companies listed on the site apparently didn't have quotes readily available.
One thing that bothered me was the button that said "quote ready" next to some of the insurance companies. It was misleading and frustrating to click on that button only to find out that there was no actual quote available. If there's nothing to view, don't advertise that there is.
Overall, I found no value in using The Zebra. It was a waste of my time and energy. I could have just gone to each individual insurance company's website and gotten the same results. The whole point of using a site like The Zebra is to save time and effort, but it failed to deliver.
In conclusion, I would not recommend The Zebra as a reliable resource for car insurance quotes. It's better to just do your own research and get quotes directly from the insurance companies themselves.
Outstanding service from The Zebra's Steven - A stress-free insurance shopping experience!
So, let me tell you about my experience with The Zebra. First of all, can I just say that Steven was top-notch? I doubt he'll ever see this, but he deserves some recognition. His service was beyond great - it was phenomenal.
I called with a specific insurance company in mind, but he still took the time to help me out by checking for lower offers. He was patient while I weighed my options and didn't try to rush me into anything. It took about an hour to go through everything, but it didn't feel like it because Steven made the process stress-free.
He was really thorough in explaining the policy coverage, too. I didn't feel like I was left in the dark about any details. Sure, there were a couple of times where he had to put me on hold, but it wasn't a big deal because he'd always check back in and keep me updated on what was going on.
And the best part? Thanks to Steven's hard work, I actually got an amazing deal on car insurance! My current policy is about a hundred dollars cheaper than what I was paying before. Who doesn't love saving some cash?
Overall, The Zebra is a great company to work with. If you're in the market for car insurance, I highly recommend giving them a try. Just be sure to ask for Steven!
Beware of The Zebra's Quotes: My Disappointing Experience with Esurance
The Zebra gave me one quote for insurance, and I have to say it left me feeling quite disappointed. They gave me the absolute highest quote for the worst coverage possible. It wasn't just a little bit pricier either - we're talking about almost double the price! They gave me a quote from Esurance, which made me feel like they checked every auto insurance provider, and concluded that this was the cheapest option for me. But boy, was I wrong! I was charged a whopping $239 per month for 6 months and I had to pay two months upfront. I guess they knew I'd end up switching to someone else and they wanted to get what they could upfront.
But then, by some stroke of luck, I decided to check out Progressive, and boy oh boy was I blown away! They gave me a quote for the exact same insurance, but for only $127 per month. And I only had to pay one month upfront! It was quite the shocker to discover that The Zebra had given me such a bad deal.
I don't know what went wrong with The Zebra's algorithms. Maybe they didn't check enough providers or maybe they intentionally gave me a bad quote; but I'm just glad I checked elsewhere and found Progressive. My advice to others is to be cautious when accepting quotes from The Zebra, and to always double check with other providers to make sure you're getting the best deal. #scrwtheZebraandEsurance
Outstanding Customer Service and Savings with The Zebra – Shoutout to Abe!
I just have to say, The Zebra is amazing! I had the pleasure of working with a guy named Abe and he was so helpful. I mean, this guy went above and beyond. I must admit, I was a bit difficult with all my questions and requests, but Abe never lost his cool. He stayed calm and patient throughout the whole process. He spent more than 45 minutes with me, looking up different car insurance quotes and adjusting them to fit my needs. He even added and removed drivers as needed and made sure I had the coverage necessary to meet my needs.
The best part is, thanks to Abe, I was able to snag an awesome rate. I am now paying $50 less than what I used to pay for state minimum coverage with only one driver covered. With The Zebra, I get "full coverage" and two drivers for less money. How amazing is that?!
One thing I will say, The Zebra doesn't skimp on their customer service. Not only did Abe help me find the best rate, but The Zebra offers a deductible reimbursement program if I ever have to file a claim. It's little things like this that make all the difference.
Thank you, Abe, for being so patient and helpful. Keep up the amazing work and make sure you treat all customers like you did me. I cannot thank you enough for all your help!
Don't Be Fooled by Thezebra.com: A Warning to All Car Insurance Seekers
I just have to share my experience with thezebra.com, and unfortunately, it's not a good one. I feel like I was taken for a ride as this company is nothing but a scam. Don't waste your time, folks!
The only truth they tell in their TV ads is that we are being overcharged for car insurance, but after that, it's all downhill. This website boasts about partnering with insurance agencies, but when it comes down to it, there's no one to talk to and no support. Each time you think you found what you need, you have to fill out the application again. This tells me that the Zebra website is just collecting money every time you click.
I suggest that you not bother calling Zebra. Instead, go to Consumer Reports or AARP, or simply contact the insurance company directly. This way, you can be sure you're not dealing with a bogus website. And while we're at it, why does this site even refer me to a liar of an insurance company?
We're all tired of being scammed and I, for one, have had enough. As an American who values their hard-earned money, I'm done with companies like Zebra who exist only to rip us off.
In conclusion, I urge you to steer clear of thezebra.com and save yourself the time and hassle. Don't fall for their empty promises and be smart about where you get your car insurance. God bless us all!
The Zebra: A Total Waste of Time for Insurance Quotes
I saw all them TV ads for thezebra.com so I thought I’d give it a try to see if I could save some cash on insurance. What a total waste of my time! It makes you enter every little detail (like seriously, why can't it be smart enough and automatically know the year your house was built once you enter the address) and in the end, it tells you a load of B.S. The quotes they gave me were higher than if I just went to the insurance company myself. Plus, thezebra.com only gave me a couple of quotes to compare. And if I want more options, I gotta start all over again by clicking on the links they give me. As if that’s not enough, the website is a total mess. Sometimes when I try to go back to a previous entry or edit my info, it just doesn't work. It’s like the developers are still using dial-up internet in the 90s. Speaking of outdated, the email they sent was just as useless as their website. I’ve attached a screenshot for proof. So save yourself the time, network bandwidth, and sanity and just stay away from thezebra.com.
Mixed Results: My Experience Using The Zebra to Compare Car Insurance Quotes
I heard a good thing about The Zebra website. They say it’s a place where you can compare car insurance quotes from different companies, not just a place to collect data. I thought I’d give it a try so I entered my information. About 10 companies popped up, each with their own potential policy prices. Only one offered an actual quote, however. All the others showed just the same coverage and amount, with an option to click on “Quote” for more details. But when I clicked on “Quote” it took me to the insurer’s own website, where I had to start over and input all my info again.
The website let me modify the amount of coverage I wanted, which affected the broader quotes. Surprisingly, when I adjusted the coverage, the price went up as well. In the end, though, the closest quote I received was $100 more per month than my current policy. I have to say that I wasn’t too impressed with their rates when compared to my current coverage from USAA. So far, I haven’t found any insurance company that has been able to offer cheaper rates with the same amount of coverage as USAA.
The Zebra Review: Frustrating Experience with Limited Quotes and Multiple Clicks
This website, The Zebra (thezebra.com), is something else! Let me tell you, I wish I had taken a moment to read some reviews before sharing all of my personal information with them. I mean, what a bummer.
It seems that because I have a pretty low credit score and only a High School Diploma/GED, The Zebra didn't even show me any quotes from major companies like Progressive or State Farm. Isn't that something? It's like they don't even want to help a guy out! And it's not just The Zebra either - living in Nevada can be a real pain. Drivers with flawless records aren't ever scored here, and insurance companies sure seem to care most about our credit scores and level of education. What a drag.
To make matters worse, only one site showed me any actual numbers. The rest bogged me down with multiple clicks and frustrating redirects. Each time I clicked "quote," I was sent directly to the insurance company's website and had to input all of my information again. What's the point?
Overall, my experience with The Zebra was less than spectacular. Don't waste your time trying to get quotes on their website. Check out more reputable sources instead and save yourself the grief. Trust me, you'll thank me later.
The Zebra Failed Me: Coverage Errors & Delayed Refunds Causing Headaches
I bought insurance from The Zebra over the phone. I gave the agent the details of my car (2012 Buick Regal GS) and the VIN number. They gave me a quote and I paid on my debit card. After hanging up, I checked my email for the policy. But, the car was listed as a car from the 1980s and the coverage was not what I asked for. I immediately called The Zebra and told them everything was wrong and to cancel. They sent me cancellation paperwork via email, which I signed and returned. They refunded me $25 for roadside assistance, but I am still owed $118 which I have yet to receive even though it has been a month. The Zebra keeps saying that the insurance company will refund me, but I have not heard anything. I gave The Zebra my credit card details, so they should issue the refund, not the insurance company. The Zebra is supposed to be the middleman and they need to do their job and fix this!
The Zebra Review: Easy Insurance Quotes, but Caution Advised for Accuracy and Privacy
I recently gave The Zebra a try to get some insurance quotes and I have mixed feelings about the process. On the one hand, it was easy to input my information and I received what I thought were reasonable estimates. However, when I called the insurance companies to get the final quote, I was surprised by what I heard.
For example, with Liberty Mutual, The Zebra estimated my monthly premium would be $104, but when I called the company I was quoted $204 per month. I was disappointed but appreciated that they agreed to remove my information from their system after a few months. Thankfully I was able to receive a link to take action against any issues.
Similarly, I had an unpleasant experience with Geico. They were the only company that gave me a confirmation code, but when I called to get the estimate, the representative became very pushy. He insisted on having all my information, even though I explained that I was shopping around for quotes and didn't want to give out too much information. He made me uncomfortable and even claimed that Geico provides The Zebra with fake estimates. It was very upsetting that he tried to make me feel embarrassed for protecting my privacy.
I fortunately called Geico another time after this and was able to get a more helpful representative. Although they claimed to not keep personal data, this new representative was able to find information about my previous policy from 2012.
In conclusion, while The Zebra is an easy way to get insurance quotes, users should be wary that the estimates may not be accurate. It's important to call each company individually to get a final quote and to keep an eye on how much of your personal information is being shared.
The Zebra Complaints 14
The estimated rates are way off from what you'll get
After providing the zebra with my info, I got what seemed to be some realistic estimates. I suspected that the final quote from the insurance companies would be a few dollars different, but that's not what happened. Instead what I learnt from the two insurance companies were surprising.
First was Liberty Mutual - on the zebra their estimate was $104 and when I called I was quoted $204 per month. The only good thing with Liberty Mutual was that they said that after 60 or 90 days they remove my information from their system. Also I could contact them for a link to have my info action removed.
Them there was Geico. For whatever reason they were the only company for which I received a conformation code. When I called the rep was somewhat obnoxious and not very willing to help. He did not like that I was uncomfortable providing him with my info and when I asked for the estimate, he insisted that I had to give him all my info. He said something to the effect that they need my info so they can bill me accordingly, to which I said, I'm shopping around and just need an estimate. He seemed to be confused by my process when he said, "then why would you call us if you are not ready to purchase insurance?" He also told me that Geico provides the Zebra with fake estimates. Which made me disappointed because he was tiring to make me feel bad that I did not want to give him all my info (e.g. My house number and full name).
I think I was unlucky with this rep because I called both companies back and the second is around I got a better rep from Geico. Unfortunately Geico claimed they done keep your data but this rep was able to pull-up information about me from 2012.
All this to say that the Zebra seems to be providing estimates that are not even remotely close to what the insurance companies actually quote.
Shady Business: My Disappointing Experience with The Zebra's Car Insurance Quotes
I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience with The Zebra. I was just trying to get some quotes for car insurance, and at first, everything seemed pretty straightforward. They asked me some basic questions about my car and driving history, which I expected. But then things started to get a little weird.
Out of nowhere, they started asking me about my credit score and how many years I went to college. I mean, what does any of that have to do with car insurance? I've been insured for years, and no one has ever asked me such odd questions before. It felt like they were trying to use my personal information to jack up the price of my insurance.
Look, I get that insurance companies need to make money, but this just felt shady to me. If you're going to charge me based on how long I've been in college, I don't want to do business with you. Sorry, Zebra, but you're just not for me.
The Zebra Review: Easy to Navigate, But Disappointing Quotes
So, I decided to give The Zebra a try. I was hoping to find a better deal on my auto insurance. The website was easy to navigate and I was able to quickly enter my information. However, the quotes I received were not much better than what I had already found. In fact, some of them were even higher!
I was disappointed and frustrated. I had read so many great reviews about The Zebra, but my experience was not the same. I wondered if the reviews were genuine or if they were just paid for by the company.
Despite my disappointment, I will say that the website itself was easy to use. The layout was simple and straightforward. However, the quotes I received were not what I was hoping for.
Overall, I would say that The Zebra is worth a try if you are looking for auto insurance. However, don't expect to find a miracle deal. You may end up with the same or even higher rates than what you already have.

The Zebra Review: Not a One-Stop-Shop for Car Insurance Quotes
but I was sorely disappointed. The Zebra claimed to be a one-stop-shop for car insurance rates, but it fell short of that promise.

Disappointing Experience with The Zebra: Only One Quote Received, Not in Specified Limits
I decided to give The Zebra a try and I must say, I was a bit disappointed. I went through the entire process of adding my vehicles to the system, hoping to receive multiple quotes. However, I only received one quote, which was not even from the liability limits I specified. This left me feeling disappointed and frustrated.
Despite adding all my vehicles to the system, I was forced to go to other websites in hopes of getting a better quote. It seemed like my time was wasted, and I was not getting the proper service that I was expecting from The Zebra.
Furthermore, I am concerned that I may now receive multiple emails from them, which is something I was not looking forward to. Overall, I would say that my experience with The Zebra was rather worthless and unhelpful.
Going forward, I would not recommend The Zebra to anyone who is looking for a reliable and efficient insurance quote service. I feel like their system was not user-friendly, and I did not get the service I deserved.
Disappointing Experience with The Zebra: No Quotes, No Agents, No Help
So, I went on The Zebra to get some quotes for my cars and drivers. I filled out the online form for 'bout 4 cars and 4 drivers. I did that for 'bout 15 minutes but sadly, no quotes were given for any level of coverage. I gave the Zebra a call and they sounded real surprised when I told 'em what happened. They said they could transfer me to a licensed agent but when I was waitin' for 'bout 5 minutes they said no agents were available. They then offered to send me to their back-up provider but I said no thanks! I was so disappinted by 'em! It was such a waste of my precious time!
The Zebra Review: A Disappointing Referral System Selling Your Info to Insurance Agents
The Zebra is just a referral system that collects all your personal information before selling your contact information to cold-calling insurance agents. Unfortunately, you won't be able to receive any comparison pricing through this website. This is a real shame since it could save you so much time and effort. Instead, what you'll get is a bunch of bad insurance agents who will hound you with calls and never leave you alone. It's a regrettable experience that you'll want to avoid at all costs.
However, some users have had success with The Zebra by submitting fake information and seeing the results. This can give you an idea of what the site has to offer and helps confirm what others have said about the site. It's a shame that such a site exists because it seems like an easy and efficient way to compare insurance rates, but it's ultimately not up to the task. We recommend avoiding this site and finding other, more reliable options for insurance comparisons.
The Zebra: A Frustrating Car Insurance Quote Experience
The Zebra is one of those websites that tries to offer you car insurance quotes, but to get them you have to go through a bunch of questions. Like seriously, it took me like 20 minutes of answering questions before they gave me any quotes. And then when they finally did, they only gave me five options to choose from. I mean come on, how am I supposed to know if there's a better deal out there with only five choices?
But the worst part is when you actually click on one of the quotes they give you. Then they make you answer all the same dumb questions all over again, like they didn't already get all that information from you. And then at the end, they ask for your social security number. Like seriously, do they really need that to give me a quote? I'm pretty sure they just want to run my credit or something.
So basically, if you're okay with potentially losing points from your credit score, then go ahead and use The Zebra. But if you value your credit score, find another website to get your car insurance quotes from.
Lengthy process and frustrating experience with The Zebra's insurance options comparison tool
I tried out The Zebra website for potential insurance options and had to go through a lengthy process of answering questions and inputting driver information for myself and two additional household members. After completing these steps, the website took some time to "think" and came back with three options: Progressive, AAA, and Allstate. However, since I already had Progressive insurance, the "Get Quote" button next to that option was pointless. I decided to try AAA and clicked on the "Get Quote" button with the assumption that my previously entered information would carry over. Unfortunately, that was not the case and I had to start from square one again. This was a frustrating experience, as I had already invested a significant amount of time and effort into filling out the required information. Despite my disappointment with this aspect, it's worth noting that The Zebra website does seem to offer a range of insurance options for comparison and could potentially be a useful tool for those searching for insurance.
My Review of The Zebra: Not Streamlined and Not Worth Your Time or Money
So, I gave The Zebra a whirl to get a bunch of quotes for car insurance. To be honest, it wasn't the most streamlined experience. I punched in all my details, hoping to receive a load of affordable insurance options. Lo and behold, that was not the case. I didn't even find all the insurance companies in the mix, and the quotes I did receive weren't anything to write home about.
Here's the kicker. Once I did get some quotes, I had to take the extra step of clicking through to the insurance company's website to start the process AGAIN. It felt like I was spinning my wheels and that I had wasted my precious time.
Thankfully, I know a thing or two about insurance companies, so I ended up calling a few directly. To my surprise, I got much better quotes than what The Zebra had provided. So, all in all, The Zebra didn't really come through for me.
If you're thinking about using their services, just know that it may not save you any time or money. It could be a better bet to do some investigating on your own. But, hey, your mileage may vary.
Beware: The Zebra for insurance quotes leads to unwanted spam!
The Zebra is a website that advertises insurance quotes compared to others. However, it is not recommended to use this site as it requires personal information. Although it is expected to obtain solicitations after providing your personal information, the site claims to not provide your information to third parties. But that is not true! I started receiving unsolicited emails from insurance companies instantly upon using the Zebra.
Additionally, the site's policy on spam is misleading, as it promises to not send any spam emails or make any annoying calls. But that's nothing but a big fat lie. The Zebra should be ashamed of themselves for not being honest with their users.
Overall, I would not recommend The Zebra to anyone looking for insurance quotes. It's a waste of time and ultimately leads to spam emails and phone calls. It's better to do your own research and find a reputable insurance company that respects your privacy.
The Zebra falls short in saving time with tedious quote process
The Zebra is an online platform that claims to save you time by comparing multiple companies at once, but in reality, it falls short. Instead of providing you with a quote, it offers a list of companies that they think would offer the best prices. However, this is not the end of the process. To get the actual dollar amount, you have to re-enter all the same information into each individual company's website. This is frustrating and requires you to redundantly enter the same information five or six times.
Overall, The Zebra might seem like a promising site, but it doesn't live up to its promises. Other sites can provide you with an estimated dollar amount without requiring you to go through this tedious process. Save your time and skip The Zebra.
Avoid The Zebra for Insurance: Terrible Customer Service and Partners with Worst Insurers
The Zebra is not a recommended insurance provider. They work with some of the worst insurance companies, such as the unique car insurance which I got stuck with. My experience with them was horrendous. When I decided to cancel my policy, they lied to me and assured me everything was solved, but they didn't cancel my policy. When they attempted to take another payment out of my account, I was fortunate that I had recently got a new debit card, so the payment was declined.
The Zebra's customer service is terrible, they have no manners and are quite rude. I wholeheartedly suggest staying far away from them. Instead, I went ahead and decided to seek out State Farm. They have a lower price and deductible, plus their customer service is outstanding, unlike The Zebra's.
The Zebra Review: Good Rates But Beware of Self-Service Accounts and Lack of Customer Support
I recently tried out The Zebra and gotta say, my first experience wasn't not too shabby. I was hooked up with MetLife, and the rates were actually pretty decent. However, there was one BIG thing that they didn't exactly make clear to me when I signed up. Apparently, I would be getting a "self-service online account," basically meaning I wouldn't have actual people to talk to when I wanted to make a claim or ask a question about my policy.
It was all fine and dandy until I actually needed to use the service. Turns out, I couldn't get any help when I needed it most. I had to call a completely new number for my home insurance and couldn't even access my account or documents when the website was on the fritz.
What's worse is that MetLife jacked up my rates multiple times without giving me any heads up. It seemed like they were just tryna nickel and dime me without actually providing good service or communication. In the end, I finally cut ties with MetLife and switched to Mercury.
All in all, The Zebra might seem like a good option at first, but it's important to keep in mind their sneaky "self-service online account" situation and the lack of actual customer support. It's best to avoid this website unless you're willing to take the risk.
About The Zebra
