Mixed Experiences with Burkhardt Pond
As I delve into the reviews of Burkhardt Pond, the opinions are quite diverse. Some customers express frustration with the service, citing issues with communication, unresponsiveness, and feeling trapped in contracts. On the other hand, there are a few positive remarks highlighting the helpfulness of the team and the ease of navigating the platform. It seems like the experience with Burkhardt Pond can vary greatly depending on individual circumstances and expectations. Potential customers should approach with caution and consider all aspects before making a decision.
Cirino Photography
We went with Cirino Photography for our wedding photos and let me tell you we had the absolute best experience with them. They were extremely professional and we could definitely tell they knew what they were doing. They were both extremely energetic and fun which made the whole experience that must better. They released all 1,060 pictures that they took to us and their editing was impeccable!
Scott and Marybeth were out photographers and they were awesome! They traveled everywhere we wanted to go and knew exactly how to pose us. We received our photos a week later and they were absolutely gorgeous! We also received 3 canvas pictures, an album, free engagement photos and a photo booth with our package. HIGHLY RECOMMENED!
EverAfter Weddings by Rev. Sandy LaRouche, St Louis, MO. Truly fantastic!
Rev. Sandy LaRouche/ EverAfter Weddings, officiated our wedding ceremony September 20th 2015, in the hystorical Tower Grove Park in St Louis, MO. She is absolutely wonderful and creates her ceramonie's to be as unique as the bride and groom are.
"This was the most beautiful ceramony I've ever witnessed." "I've never been to a wedding as touching as this one." Are just two out of countless compliment ' s that we recieved. Many of the gentlemen guests were seen wiping tears from their eyes right along with the ladie's throughout the wedding. Sandy made our big day personal, unique, romantic and even witty at times. It was like a fairy tale.
I would recommend her to anyone who's vision is of a truly original wedding ceremony, a day that will be completely your own, "unforgettable".

Beyond thrilled!
People experience "love at first site" once in their lives, and some people never do. I have experienced it twice. The first time I met my partner and knew I would marry him, and when he and I walked into the Stonebridge Country Club in Smithtown. As a gay couple, we had experienced an incredible amount of bias during our search. It was not the case when we met with Gary Schneider. We felt as though we were welcome and appreciated.
Although our wedding was last summer, we feel that its never too late to say "thank you".
We say loudly and clearly, that our experience was beyond wonderful.
The food and the service was 5 star quality, and the ballroom was stunning. No stone was left unturned, and no detail was overlooked. If we could give 10 stars we would!
Thank you Stonebridge! You made our dreams come true.
Jack Olaughlin's VideoVignette
Jack Olaughlin's VideoVignette
As being the Mother of the Bride I wanted everything to be perfect for my daughter's very special day. It was the most unbelievable day. The only way we were able to capture those very special moments we wanted to keep and see forever was from Jack. He was so genuine and kind, I didn't even think of him as our photographer but as a friend. He made sure that everything was just perfect for him to get the pictures exactly how he wanted them. When we first met with Jack he made my daughter feel so comfortable and relaxed that even before we walked away from our appointment our minds were made up that Jack was who we were using and took care of everything right there. Jack was our first photographer we met with and he certainly was the only one we met with. The only problem I had was that once the wedding was over I really was sad that we would be in contact with Jack as much anymore as we were before the actually wedding day. He really was so nice. I know for a fact my next big affair I give, Jack will be the one and only photographer I will use.
Amazing night
My son and his new bride Heather had their wedding at the Waterview in Monroe CT last night. Our guest are saying things like "Rock star night" Epic, over the top, amazing.
These words were echoed to me and my wife Joanne all night by the 300 guests we had.
This all started with the General Mgr. Joanna Sheriff who made us feel special, important and most of all at ease that the night would be special for our kids. Sue Beaumont was the next contact person who was simply unbelievable. Every detail, every request was meet with a smile and perfection. The wait staff, bartenders and culinary department shined bright and attended to our guests like they were family. From the cocktail hour in the beautiful Garden room to the 30 foot Venetian table totally exceeding all expectation.
The grandeur of the Waterview was on full display last night as this magnificent building rose to the occasion and handled our 300 guest with plenty of room to spread out. We would like to again thank the Waterview staff and ownership for making the New Mr. And Mrs. Martino's wedding a memory that will last a life time.
This Site is a Must if you are planning a wedding or in one!
Dont plan a wedding without looking at the Knot website! I heard about the Knot back in 2001 when I was the best man for a friend and needed to research what my responsibilities were. Naturally when I got engaged in 2017 and needed to plan our wedding the Knot was the first place I turned to. I truly cannot say enough good things about the Knot website and services provided. They truly made planning far easier than trying to plan on our own. Using the Knot allowed us to have an amazingly unforgettable wedding!
1) Organized Truly one of the keys to having a successful & low stress weddings is ORGANIZATION! The Knot provides invaluable help with that. Once you open up and account on the Knot website you have access to a complete array of planning and vendor tools.
2) Checklist Brilliantly done! Based on the date you plan to have your wedding a tailorable checklist is created with common wedding planning items and when you should to start and complete the various tasks. You can add items not on the checklist or remove items you dont need in the checklist. As tasks are completed the site tracks what percentage of items are accomplished to give you a warm fuzzy about your planning progress. Also weekly email reminders were great to help keep us on track.
3) Couples Website The Knot also lets you create your own wedding website page where you can post your photos and information about the wedding. My wife and I had fun setting this up. We put the link in our invitations for people to access.
4) The Knot Venue Concierge One of the more time consuming things is scheduling vendor visits and tours. We went to 14 different wedding / reception venues in the Atlanta area and the Venue Concierge was invaluable. You actually get an actual person who schedules visits to wedding venues for you free of charge! Genius! Kelsey was our concierge and always kept us in the loop via email and text. She was fantastic! This saved us lots of time making phone calls.
5) Vendor Lists The Knot was a one-stop shop to find vendors in our area for everything from Cake Chefs to Limousine Service. The customer reviews for each vendor were also very helpful.
I would give the Knot website 6 stars if I could. No one should plan a wedding without them!
The Gown Gallery, Kansas City, Missouri
Two months ago, December 25th I got engaged.
About a month later I was diagnosed with breast cancer in both breasts at a major hospital in K. C. Kansas.
My head was spinning with this information because there was no history of breast cancer in my family.
I decided to go looking for my wedding gown to take my mind off of what I just thought I just heard.
I googled some shops and the only shop that was open at 10:00 was the Gown Gallery down town Kansas City, Missouri, so I decided to go there first.
The pictures of the gowns in the window was amazing! Perfect for my style, oh and on my 2nd visit to my Primary Care Physicians, my physician said she purchased a gown from them for a formal affair she attended.
After going up a flight of stairs I arrived at the desk and was greeted by Robin Sweet. She greeted me with an out stretched hand and a great big warm smile. She asked me what was my price range and what style was I looking for. I showed her some pictures on my phone. She explained where she would look to see if she could help me. She then sat me at one of there small tables and offered me a cup of tea while she searched for what I was wanted. She was so very professional and helpful.
Well, as it turned out they were the only shop I visited.
To my surprise she brought up a total of four gowns but # 4 made me feel like the bride I had never experienced in my first wedding some 48 years earlier. I was finally going to wear a formal gown!
I felt beautiful! No longer depressed about the diagnosis of possible cancer.
The seamstress, who also was so friendly, warm professional was amazing also. She fixed my hemline and made adjustments to my straps and agreed to replace a button that was missing by using all new buttons in the back. They are beautiful. Off she went to do her magic to make my dress fit perfectly.
I returned a few days later and told them that I was diagnosed with cancer in both breast. Both Robin and my seamstress consoled me. They were so kind and thoughtful and wished me the best but then they turned my attention to trying on my altered gown.
I was speechless! It was perfect!. I even tried on some shoes that were stunning but my budget would not allow it so I declined the shoes. As my sister and I headed out of the door, Robin stopped me and said "we can have your gown steamed in 30 minutes if you want to go across the street and get something to eat. When my fiance and I came back to pick up my gown, to my amazing surprise, Robin had gifted me the shoes! I was in tears!
Life had turned my attention from negative, foreboding thoughts to a great big happy smile full of hope and joy for my wedding day.
TheKnot Complaints 7
HORRIBLE BUSINESS
HORRIBLE BUSINESS.
I made 5 orders on 11/25. I took hours to make the personalized gifts. I got an email where 6 items were canceled and then 2 saying 2 were backordered. The email said they will not ship anything until the backordered items are in. It suggested I called them if I want to cancel the backorder so that the rest of the order can be process. So I did that.
I called them last night and the rep said that on Friday they will start sending out more cancellations email but they are overwhelmed now so they cannot tell me which items will or will not be canceled. The girl told me that actually ALL the backorder items will be canceled for everyone anyways because they will run out also. So she said around Friday or later, we are going to get emails on those cancellations. I told her fine, just process the rest. She said actually the 13 that's left, most of them will be canceled also. I'm like WHAT? She said because they are not in stock. If it's not on line anymore that means they will not send them even though I ordered it back on 11/25. She said their system is not matching their inventory. So it is allowing people to order things that they do not have. It's ridiculous. So I said EXACTLY how many items can I get. She kept putting me on hold. Finally she came back and said that they had no idea. She asked me to call back on Friday when they can give me more information. WTF. She said that they are getting a ton of calls and complaints and they can't fill it as fast AND there's not enough things in stock.
To make it more insulting, she tells me that they don't actually fill an entire order at the same time. So for example, I ordered 19 items. They go to make them, when they get to one that is on "backorder", they go and send an email and now puts my order on "hold" until backorder is in. So I said well now that I've canceled the backorder, will it be at the front of the line? NO. It goes back to the end of the line. So then if another item because discontinued as they fill it, you go back to the end of the line again. STUPIDEST thing I ever heard. So in other words, if you made an order with 1 item, you may get it. If you made an order with multiple items, you will probably not get it because each time they get to an item they don't have, they put you at the end of the list AGAIN. I asked her why they don't just fill out the whole order at the same time, she said that's not how they do it.
I also said it's stupid that they hold on to the entire order instead of sending what they have. She said there's no way for them to track parts of an order so they have to have the whole order before they send it. This is the most unorganized business I know. I spent hours personalizing everything just so it gets all cancelled.
So then I told her, Ok so all these people who got email that saying their item is backordered -- really it's not. It will be cancelled. She said yes most of them will be cancelled. Then I said and if they take the rest to wait for the backorder, the other items in the order that is being on "hold" is really given to someone else order, so by the time the backorder is in, all the other items are no longer available. So you're screwed if you actually wait for a backorder. She said YES. So why send an email asking us to call. She said there's no point of calling. There's nothing they can do. They can't even tell us what they can or cannot send at this time.
By the way, one of my other order only had 4 items and that's not being sent either. It was ordered on 11/25th also.
All the items that were on sale was on sale because they are being discontinued. They are clearing out everything for new items in Jan, she said. So of course they are cancelling items.
To give you an idea of which items were cancelled, they were totes, towels, robes, jar, glasses, tunic, etc. When I called, she went through and told me I will be getting emails on all the other cancellations later in the next week or so. I had gotten 8 emails already but that's barely anything. She said pretty almost everything will be cancelled.
Worst business ever.
deactivate account
I want to deactivate theknot wedding website and account since my wedding already happened. I no longer have access to the email to do so since I have deleted that email account as well. I want my information taken down from your website and I would like my account deleted as well. The old email was [protected]@yahoo.com
Like I have previously stated, I have deleted that email account. I am logged into the app from my mobile device but it does not have an option to deactivated the wedding website or the account in general. If this does not get resolved I can contact my lawyer. Thank you.
Unfriendly company
I had an issue and I needed some help and support from TheKnot. They never replied to my messages and completely ignored me. I wanted to post a review on their website but it was not possible.
Then I left several reviews on their social network pages and some other complaint websites and after that these guys blocked my account! Now I can't even log into my account and their site says that my password is incorrect. I use one and the same password everywhere so there was no way I could forget it.

The company is dishonest and they got my money
I thought and decided to subscribe for the company www.theknot.com. They offered business and $300 per months and I could work from home. It wasn’t my only job, therefore it was very convenient for me. I paid them money for the start up and was happy, but the company misled me. They took money from me and I haven’t heard from them after that moment.
The customer services are horrible
I found the website www.theknot.com a long time ago, and I was in love with it. But I filled the guests list on the similar website, and it showed that my lists would be transferred to the Knot website. I waited some time, but nothing happened. I tried to contact someone from customer services, but they didn’t respond. After several weeks, they informed me that my list couldn’t be transferred, and they also couldn’t solve this problem. I was upset and therefore don’t advise you this website.
They still didn't cancel my account and I will not pay them
I am a Professional DJ who figured the Knot would bring me more business...what a Ripoff they Promised me to try it for 3 Months then I can cancel anytime. When I tried to cancel after 3 months of not getting an Wedding Leads they said that I would have to keep it for 6 months. I was Furious and called management still insisting that I keep it for 6 months.. They said according to your contract but I said that I didn't have a contract? They still didn't cancel my account and I will not pay them What A RIPOFF STAY AWAY!
Vendors should think twice about advertising on The Knot
Vendors should think twice about advertising on The Knot. It is very expensive (around 5 grand per year for good placement) and they do not appreciate your business. I have experienced many problems...over billing that took nearly a year to fix (I was refunded over $2000 in over billings). Eighteen months after this my ad was deleted from the site after winning one of The Best of The Knot Awards. I was off the site for 4 weeks while they fixed the problem...less than 3 months after this my front page placement was goofed and they have dropped me to the back pages of the site and no longer marked me as winning The Best of The Knot yet they continued to charge me for front page placement. Not worth your time or effort to advertise on this site unless you love very poor service.
