TheStreet Review: Too Many Ads, Not Enough Substance
If you're looking for a website to get your financial news fix, TheStreet might not be the best option. Sure, they have some good content, but the amount of ads you have to sit through is ridiculous. I mean, seriously, who wants to pay over $300 a year just to be bombarded with ads left and right? It's like they're trying to be the next Huffing Post or something. And don't even get me started on the quality of the content. It's all just tabloid stuff, if you ask me.
But let's talk about those ads for a minute. You have to watch a 30 second ad just to hear someone's opinion on a stock or event. Who has time for that? And it's not like they're even good ads. They're the same ones over and over again. It's like they're trying to brainwash you or something.
Honestly, I would never join TheStreet again. It's just not worth the money or the hassle. There are plenty of other websites out there that offer better content without all the annoying ads. So save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.

I'm an investment advisor and I decided to give TheStreet a try by subscribing to their Dividend Investor subscription. I have to say, I was pretty disappointed with the website. I was forced to prepay for another year of their service, and I couldn't even cancel it.

They don't give you the option to cancel your subscription, and they force you to prepay for their services. It's a complete waste of money and time.

TheStreet Charged Me $349.95 Without Consent - Reporting to FTC and FBI Cybercrime Unit
I ain't never signed up for nothin' from TheStreet, but somehow they got ahold of my debit card deets and charged me a whopping $349.95! I swear on my mama's grave that I ain't never received no emails from them and I never delete nothin' from my inbox. These folks are straight up scum, I tell ya what.
I done disputed the charge as unauthorized, but that ain't enough for me. I'm takin' this all the way to the top and reporting them to both the FTC and the FBI's cybercrime unit. Ain't nobody gonna mess with my hard-earned money and get away with it.
Just wanted to give y'all a quick update - I done provided all the info I got on these crooks to the FBI. And I'm tellin' y'all, if this has happened to you too, you need to do the same. Don't let these lowlifes get away with it.

TheStreet Review: A Rip-Off Company with Terrible Business Ethics and Customer Service
I totally agree with what others have said about TheStreet. It's just another one of those companies that suck your money out of your bank account. I was charged a whopping $199 for a product that was supposed to cost only $19.99. Can you believe that? When I asked them about it, they told me that I had accidentally checked a box that added five extra services that I didn't even ask for. What a rip-off!
And to make matters worse, when I called to cancel my subscription on the 14th day, they told me that technically, the 14th-28th day was considered 15 days, not 14 days. What kind of math is that? And to top it all off, they don't even give refunds! I had to file a dispute with my bank just to get my money back.
Honestly, TheStreet has some of the worst business ethics I've ever seen, and their customer service is just as bad. I would strongly advise against signing up with this company, even on a trial basis. It's just not worth the headache and the money you'll end up losing.
