Thomas Street Studios / Fusion Studios review: Modelling portfolio

I signed up in July for my daughter as they say they are a modelling company looking for talents. I paid for my photoshoot, at least I was told it’s just to secure the day so I turn up and if I didn’t like it I would get a refund.

After the shoot she took us upstairs to say my daughter was selected and we can start with a portfolio I did the cheapest which is £500 she did the contract and while I was trying to read it she said it was repetitive so nothing to worry about. She also told us they laision with the agency to get her work and she will start the process in the next 6-8 weeks. I couldn’t afford the money up front so I did monthly payments.

Did two monthly payments of £112 then I cancelled because of the reviews and what colleagues who have experienced the same scam years ago told me. I am a single mom of 3 I can’t afford to be scammed like this.

Now that I have cancelled my direct debit they send me a copy of what I signed which that copy was not given to me. It says in it that they are not an agency and will not get me work, I am only paying for the pictures. 12 pictures for £500 I wouldn’t be that stupid to believe that. She told me it’s a package to get her started with the agency which she is going to speak with and she said it was multiple agencies. I am depressed about this whole thing. I can’t believe they are allowing this company to get away with this for so many years.
