This company offered to sell my timeshares for Cypress Palms in FL. They charged me $799 to list my deed. They guaranteed a sale or would refund my $799. Bob Downey and Bill Elis lied to me and told me they sold my timeshare units and I would soon receive a form to sign. This has been going on for almost 6 months. They do not return my calls. They do however, still have my $799.
Has anyone ever had bad dealings with a timeshare reseller called...Countrywide timeshare sellers? They are based out of PA and I think my friend may be in trouble by giving them money up front.
If anyone can help or tell me how to check this company out FAST I would appreciate it.
thank you,
Gail
Countrywide Timeshare - a friend of mine just got ripped off for $1350 by these scammers. The lies and deceit coming from this company are outrageous. We're still working on getting a refund.
They claim to have a buyer but need you to sign up as a customer "so they don't commit a felony by selling real estate without a license" before they can close the deal for you. Once they have your $2500 (or the "discounted fee" of 1350, you don't hear from them again. Classic scam. Where's the PA atty general's office ?
Wow, thanks for this info! These scammers just called me today and I was almost considering them. They told me that they have a buyer but they were not going to give me any more info until I pay them 1250 by credit card. I would love to put these scammers where they belong, in jail! Anyone with me? Love to crack down on them.
I am so glad I found this sites. I just hung up with them about 20 minutes ago and they told me that they had a buyer for my timeshare. I told them I was confused as I never talked with them about selling the property but the swore they spoke with my husband. He's not home to confirm one way or another. They are faxing the paperwork over to me, I will see what it says but I refuse to send them any money up front. If they truly advertised for free they if they really do have a buyer they will have to settle for taking their fees out of the proceeds at closing (if one really exists). Thanks for posting, I am sure you are all like us and don't just have cash to throw away on these scams.
I wish I had found this site before I paid Countrywide Timeshare. I can't believe I fell for their pitch. I'm a sadder but wiser person.
LETS PUT THESE ### WHERE THEY BELONG, THIS ### NAMED BRYAN COLE TRIED TO GET 2500.00 OUT OF ME BY TELLING ME THAT HE HAD A BUYER FOR MY PROPERTY, I DID MY HOMEWORK AND SEEN ALL THE COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS COMPANY AND WOULD LIKE TO SEE THESE ### WHERE THEY BELONG...
I was scammed out of $1350 from Countrywide Scam as well. No one ever calls me back. They tell me that all the people I dealt with no long work there and they admitted to me that there were some dishonest people working there, they still have my money. NEVER use this company or you will be the next LOSER as I call myself. I feel so stupid. I just hope this company goes under and no one else gets burned! PLEASE LISTEN TO ME! DO NOT FALL FOR THIS B U L L S H I T company.
BRYAN COLE was my guy too. Morris Saul left me a message crying that he would lose his job if he couldn't sell my property. COUNTRYWIDE is a total scam. BELIEVE ME!
