For months Toluna Influencers had no rewards available for payout. Their excuse was that they were trying to ''upgrade'' their payout rewards. When Toluna finally showcased their ''upgraded'' reward payout, I noticed only some new giftcards being added & I personally do not see anything upgrades what have you that required months for these quite incompetent Toluna people to deny their survey participants from redeeming survey points. Toluna payout remains fairly poor value & uncompetitive comparing to many of their online survey competitors that I am aware of. By & large, NOTHING HAD BEEN UPGRADED WHATSOEVER WITH TOLUNA REWARDS & THEY KEPT US WAITING FOR PETTY MUCH NOTHING FOR MONTHS! An d I guess Toluna has robbed 1000s of earned survey points from many of us this way because apparently these earned survey points at Toluna EXPIRE after one year since credited!

Over 2 weeks now after I redeemed my usual gift card, not only it is totally inaccessible for use, both the reward issuer & Toluna were either ignoring or dragging with no further action after my multiple requests for help.

Then out of the blue I started to experience account log in problem with no REAL help from Toluna who then told me yesterday that my account was suspended. I asked for explanation & no reply from Toluna.

Including the unusable $20 gift card that I redeemed successfully that cost me 60000 points, I still have over 90000 points saved when Toluna suspended my account for nothing wrong that I am aware that I did.

My experience in contacting Toluna has been very much & highly negative. Toluna keeps sending a ''Solved'' reply automatically EVERY TIME I CONTACTED THEM, thus requiring me to keep spending more time & sending Toluna a NOT SOLVED message. It also seems to me that Toluna almost always sent back conflicting if not all confusing/useless responses, thus costing me lots of extra time on every help request with Toluna. AND TOLUNA STILL USES THEIR AUTO AI SOLVE RESPONSE & THIS HAS NO CHANGE SINCE I JOINED OVER THREE YEARS AGO DESPITE MY MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS ON THIS.

TOLUNA appears quite an increasingly scam-like online research provider in my experience & ROBBED MY HARD EARNED $50 + SURVEY COMPLETION CASH BY DENYING MY ACCOUNT ACCESS BECAUSE I ONLY CHOSE SELECTED SURVEYS TO TRY, ANSWERED QUICK VOTE & PLAYED DAILY WHEEL & NOTHING ELSE & I DID ALL THESE AS A DECENT, HONEST & RESPONSIBLE PARTICIPANT ALL ALONG.

$50 is all Toluna is worth in terms of business integrity & reputation & BEING A ONLINE SURVEY CHEATER

Toluna flagged & blocked me from accessing my account because I can't afford home internet only after nearly 2 years of me doing their petty surveys from public pcs. Isn't this a form of ridiculous harassment & discrimination?

I am still unable to log in my toluna account by using my own private wifi that is used only by me. Seems to me that toluna is not only hassassing me the past 2 months by wasting much of my time for trying unaccessible surveys & robbing my accumulated points but more creating much administrative hurdles & issues against users like me who keep complaining your faulty system, practise, protocol & staff

Toluna is wasting more of my time by asking me to try the forget password. Nothing happened for multiple tries. Toluna people are so very incompetent to help but are expert in harassing me & stealing my account access & hard earned points

Then some nameless toluna person keeps copying & pasting same useless email back to me repeatedly & ignored my repeated request to be connected to a supervisor again

I registered & been participating with PUBLIC COMPUTERS from the start & seems to me that Toluna has been creating its many user unfriendly hurdles & problems since I joined in addition to their already poor reward/survey points value

Thank you, it was stated that the reward would take three to five business days to be delivered to Paypal account. It was done in two days. No hassle or customer service required.

It is a great app for earning some cash while completing the survey. However, the criteria for surveys is quite strict so it's possible that some survey unable to be completed. So far, I've managed to redeem 4-5 times so it's not a disappointing app.

Is good surveys and has good prices when u reach all your points and giving your opinions and feedback on stuff.

I have cashed out a few times now not to mention I won a prize of 2800$ American from them back in 2011. I would have given them four stars but because I won cash from them they get five :)

I tried this qebsite for many years so far, and I can confidently say it is one of the most descent survey websites.I always change my points into a gift card that I use for shopping in UAE.

After a few issues down to technical on there side all Issues have been sorted and all money owed paid so have to give them credit where credit is due. They show me respect and sorted these issues out a big thank you to team Toluna..

I sent the following email to CEO of Toluna, Mr. Frederic-Charles Petit as follows dated June 8, 2025 & received absolutely no response whatsoever at all. Lots of shame on Toluna that stole my $50 hard earned survey incentive cash by unilaterily suspending my account & total disappointmnet of Mr. Petit who appears to care & attend to no human grievance caused by the no good Toluna team under his direction & executuve management.

I disagreed with the repeating account suspensions & allegations since April 2025

I strong feel that my suspensions were a pure consequence of me speaking out the very truth about many of Toluna personnel, their no help/often dragging & stalling tactics, cheating surveys & excessive use of AI in handling of our complaints, & so on since I joined Toluna in 3 years ago.

Moreover, stealing my $50 worth of points does not seem very fair or just as they are my hard earned points & efforts

Tuluna sent me the following quite useless & totally pretentious responses via email & Trustpilot as per my recent negative experience posting dated April 26, 2005 involving Totula stealing my hard earned survey completion cash & suspended my Toluna account in an unilaterally & unjustified manner & so on.

I did ask for an explnation & Toluna ignored me. I requested to be connected with a supervisor, Toluna again ignored my request as usual.

I am still getting no "update" whatsoever regarding the so-called "investigation" after nearly 3 weeks. What a lie!

I signed up with this site several years ago when I read on a blog that it offered possible free test products. That was VERY misleading, but it's my fault for not investigating this site further - lesson learned. Do lots of due diligence before signing up for any of these types of sites, as many are huge time wasters & pay out beans for your time. Toluna is mainly a survey site but I had no interest in doing surveys. I thought it'd be fun to 'possibly' test free products. Every test product offering only provides anywhere from a few hundred to approx 500 products (except the last test product offering was 900+ which I'd never seen them offer that many prior). They seem to offer test products approx once a month or so. I understand that considering how many Toluna users there are, statistically there's a very low chance of actually getting chosen to test a product. I had no idea that Toluna has millions of users all over the world, so the chances of you getting picked to test one of just a few hundred products is basically zero. After applying to test products every single time they're offered for years & never getting chosen, I've finally given up. I guess I'm determined... or just really stubborn & kind of lame for continuing on for years ha. You'd think I'd give up long ago, considering these aren't expensive products, but I thought it'd just be fun if I did get chosen. Most test products are under $10 & many are probably worth about $5 (like eye pencils & lip balms). But I kept the hope up that eventually I'd get picked - nope! What a complete waste of time. Do not bother with this site for trying to get test products. After reading reviews of Toluna, it's mainly just a survey site & according to many users, even their surveys are not worth your time.
As a side note, their customer service is of no help at all. I contacted them because their site wouldn't allow me to update my address (in case I ever did get picked for a test product) & could they please update my address for me & try to fix their site's issue. I tried to update my address over 20 times over the past several months to no avail. Their reply was to submit my new address & click update - exactly what I had told them I'd already done over 20 times. I also asked them about their test products program & told them I've applied for years with no luck & is there anything I need to do to have a better chance of being picked (does doing surveys, having a blog etc increase chances?). They didn't respond to that question at all, so I have no idea how their test product program works.
Just stay away from Toluna. Toluna does nothing but suck your time & cause major frustration with zero to gain regarding test products.
I can't personally speak to their surveys, but if you read other reviews & google Toluna, most people say you get very little payout from doing long surveys, points expire, you have to do long screeners & then it'll say you don't qualify... doesn't sound like their surveys are worth doing. Also googling Toluna's test product program, almost everyone says they also have never received anything from this company after applying for a long time, some for many years (one person said they'd applied for test products for 7 years & never been chosen). What a waste of our time. Much better companies out there who actually reward their users regularly with test products/samples & provide decent pay out for surveys. Stay FAR away from this junk site!

Lots & lots of unreasonable extra time for months communicating with toluna help for multiple counts of missing/stolen earned survey & other earned points not credited back to my account. Every time I asked to speak with their supervisor/manager, they ignored. Totally point robber, online survey scam with no accountability support team. Their support team, survey set up, reward system are all faulty & make too many unreasonable mistakes too much too often. Absolutely distasteful & unpleasant to do surveys for them. Do not join & find other more rewarding & less mistake online survey providers!

When it lets me take the survey at the end it always Opps it's our bad not you or you're not able due to unknow reasons. So, I have come to terms that I will not use toluna anymore even uninstalled the app months ago and tried using pc but it hasn't changed the fact that I spent precious time that I realized when I lost my father this year due to lack of medical care and neglected physical therapy from just a pinky toe amputation. So, every min counts and a live is worth more than any amount of money especially family. So, i turn 43 tomorrow and realized that I have wasted days of time using your program and never was rewarded like crowd tap has. They have me extra points just because I always do their surveys and even video survey all the time and that's like hundreds of points. So I will update all my social media about your programs waste of my time to warn others. That's all I have time for you.

On the 31st of July 2023 I was suddenly unable to log into my Toluna account. I sent a message, clearly pointing out why I was banned and all I got was an automated message saying I was banned for being 'dishonest'. What's worse was that when I sent out subsquent emails calling them out for doing this to me, they've never responded, and cancelled an AU$20 Flexi gift card I was rightfully owed.

I've been doing this for almost 3 years, and I am disgusted they threw me to the side and treated me like crap.

I have just written a long e-mail complaint to Toluna which was on the reply option on the e-mail they sent to me but it came back as not sent . I have been unable to sign into the toluna website despite having the correct password and email address, despite contacting toluna 4 times they are not answering my emails. i got an email from them today telling me that my £10 tesco voucher was cancelled and my 55000 points credited back to my account, so why cancel my reward and put my points back into my account when they wont let me use the tolunas website, how am i able to redeem my points when i dont now have an account as far as toluna are concerned, ive read a few complaints on this website and it looks like they treat everybody the same,ie ignore them and hope they go away. i wont go away il continue emailing them till i get the answers i want. dont be ignorant and devious toluna, i didnt do anything wrong, why aam i being punished and ignored.

i was using toluna most days. answered surveys honestly and thoughtfully. was getting pretty good points. then suddenly i couldn't log in. i was told they've suspended my account but wasn't given a proper reason. so i have also lost all my points plus the amazon voucher that was already being processed. i should have listened to all the reviews saying it was a scam

I've been doing surveys on Toluna for months now and just a few weeks ago I've been locked out. I can only find a survey if I get an e-mail telling me of a new survey opportunity. I am not able to sign into my account. I really don't know what happened or why, this is frustrating since Toluna is the best survey sight. This happened on June 26th and I haven't heard a word from Toluna why this happened or what needs to be done to remedy this situation. I wish I could give you more information but I have no idea since I have received no info from Toluna. Thank you.

So, I've been using Toluna for a while now and I gotta say, I'm not too impressed. They keep offering me these surveys that promise a ton of points, like 4,000 or something, but then I end up wasting a bunch of time answering questions about my shopping habits and whatnot, only to be told that I don't actually qualify for the survey or that they've already filled up the quota for my user group. It's pretty frustrating, especially when I'm already like three quarters of the way through a 40 minute survey or something.

Honestly, I think there might be some shady stuff going on here. Like, maybe these surveys are just a way for sneaky people to get free market research that they can then sell to retailers for a bunch of money. I mean, it wouldn't surprise me. And I don't know anyone who actually thinks this site is fair and legit.

I gotta say, Toluna ain't exactly my favorite survey site. I mean, I've been waiting for my vouchers worth R600 for ages now. The last time I got paid was way back in February, and the site says they'll pay up within 2-8 weeks. But it's been months since 7/03/18 and I still haven't seen a cent.

Honestly, I wouldn't trust these guys as far as I could throw 'em. This isn't the first time they've had trouble processing payments, either. Lots of other users are in the same boat as me, and we're not getting any help or answers from Toluna. They had the same problem back in November 2017, too.

Toluna is a survey company that promises to pay you for your opinions. However, the reality is far from what they advertise. In fact, it's more like a nightmare. As a retired lady over 65, I don't get many opportunities to share my opinions, so when I come across a survey that wants my input, I'm over the moon. However, it's a real bummer when I spend 20-30 minutes completing a survey only to be met with a "system error" message when I hit submit. It's like, come on, man! This happens all the time, and it's frustrating as heck. The message says to click to return to the homepage, but it just sits there like a bump on a log. What gives, Toluna?

I'm not exaggerating when I say this happens ALL the time. If I'm lucky, I'll complete one or two surveys in a month, but I get dumped from at least 10. It's a waste of my time, and I don't get any rewards for my efforts. Is your system really that bad, Toluna?

The only reason I'm giving you a 2-star rating is that I've managed to redeem enough points for a couple of rewards, but it takes many, many months to accrue them when most of the surveys get dumped. I'm not a happy camper, Toluna. You need to fix your system, or you'll lose a lot of loyal users like me.
