So, Pinecone Research is a survey website where you can earn some extra cash by sharing your opinions about products and services. It used to be a pretty good option for people who wanted to make some easy money online, but lately something seems to be going wrong.

For one thing, they are not paying out as they used to. I had accumulated over fifty bucks and I can't seem to get it out. The company keeps saying that their redemption department is down but it has been several weeks now since they said that. I have been trying to cash out for over a month, but nothing has happened yet. And it's not just me, other people have been having the same problem, according to the negative reviews I read online.

It's a shame that Pinecone Research has gone downhill like this. When they actually did pay, I was getting around 9 or 15 dollars per survey, which was a great incentive for me to keep answering them. But now, I don't even bother. It's just too frustrating and time-consuming for nothing.

You can also choose "Vacation Time" if you need a break.

But let me tell you, they don't play around when it comes to participation. If you're not active, then you might get booted. They take data collection seriously, and that's a good thing! They want honest and accurate data. If you get booted for some reason, don't worry, you can log back in and pick up where you left off. That's so much better than having to start over or not being able to complete a survey like other sites.

I was a member of Pinecone Research for numerous years. I completed 95% of all surveys sent. During the past few years, I guess, since Covid, surveys have drastically dropped with very few invitations to take part.

During the beginning of last year I started to receive a couple of invites again to surveys and took part. I noticed my credit had accrued and wished to redeem my rewards. I struggled with logging in to the Panel with it not recognising my password which was strange as I wrote it down. Despite numerous attempts at the forgot password I resorted to contacted their help via the online form and eventually someone named Karen replied with a password reset. I duly redeemed some points for rewards, not suspecting any problem with future access. Later in the year I once again wished to redeem some points but it wouldn't allow me to log in, I tried the forgot password and waited the next day, the day after and once again never received a link to reset. I tried it again later in the year believing maybe there was an issue with the website as the form submission to contact them often never worked either. I tried again with the forgot password and waited with no reply. Earlier this year I wished to redeem further rewards however once again it still wouldn't log in. Trying the forgot password again didn't work. I contacted Karen direct and she replied to say that my account no longer existed. As I hadn't been an active member my account was gone! I was horrified. There was no warning to say if you don't log in your account would be disabled. There was no courtesy message to say you have credit in your account and you need to log in to redeem as we are removing you from the Panel. I replied immediately but she simply just ignores my emails. I advised her that I had a record of all of the emails with survey invitations, etc etc but she just replies asking me to refer to the Terms and Conditions. I have been a member for years, built up credit over the years and never have had to use any points in a certain time period. I can see there are several other Panel Members who have all been treated the same way with their accounts removed. I feel very scammed by this Company and have asked for them to forward it to Complaints but they simply reply just look at the Terms and Conditions. I want my credit which I have earned over these past few years to be provided to me, my account needs to be reinstated in order to do this.
