Toonstorm sold me a banned account, refused to pay back money, and then filed a dispute on the account I sold them. When I tried to contact support they told me they can't speak english and disconnected.

This is a fake complaint against the Toonstorm site by competitors... As you can see, the complaint makes no sense...

In the first place, that user is saying we "stole" the account that he sold us. Then, why would he retrieve the account? The banning part as well doesn't make sense either, nor mentioning his "friend"...

Our chat is always available and we don't just close it down on people. We always make sure to find an agreeable solutions to all customers.

We offer a 100% security guarantee and separate ourselves from the competition by offering a higher level of security both when buying and selling accounts. (we are currently the only ones helping customers to create new accounts and transfer characters to their safe new account).

I have bought a couple of accounts from these guys and a few of my friends have as well. No problems at all and frankly, their CS is much better than other game selling sites. We love the security measures these guys use. I wouldn't risk my money at another site.

Joe,

Lucky you, I had the same problems as these others, bought an account that later got banned. I have been told they are based in china. I think the issue is they dont sell you accounts that are banned, but they later get banned.

Thats why you buy the account...then transfer the character to a new account...

No idea about buying the account, but I just got done with selling my account. It wasnt the speediest transaction as they had to go through and verify a whole bunch of stuff, I was definitely getting nervous about being scammed while waiting all the different times but 1 hour later and the money is in my bank account. I'd definitely recommend this site.

I purchased an account from them recently, and blizzard deactivated it because they said I was associated with breaking in game economy. I cannot seem to get toonstorm to email me back regarding this issue but as of right now I am out of an account.

First i offered to sell my account to toonstorm, and i failed thier security team's approval but thier CS rep. didnt even bother to let me know whats going on.. so i try again and it takes 30 minutes for them just to let me know after i fail i am not eligible for selling the account anymore..

Alright that was understandable.. they have to keep security measures, they could have been straight up about it and let me know rightaway intead of wasting my time but hey, thats thier own policy.

Later after i sold my account to a website with superior CS and got that over with.

I wanted to buy an account from the toonstorm website later on and turns out i cant do that either.. when i ask why i was put in the security block list, i get no answer. I wonder why after getting listed on thier security list JUST FOR BEING HESITANT TO LET THEM KNOW MY HOME ADDRESS after filling out a form which already told them that.. even though they use an automatic answering system (they have procedural answers to your questions) thier human touch is very lacking in thier CS.

VERY VERY poor customer service. could have been avoided if i was provided with straight-forward answers and not with ###ed preschool level answers.

**this is not an attempt by any competitors as Toonstorm would claim, that is why i didnt mention the website i went to that provided human Customer Service which was far superior**

DO NOT USE! They are worthless people. Trust me after 3 hours they could not even verify who I was? WTF does that mean? Do we need to give DNA samples so ###s can prove you are who you say you are? If they can't handle online sales issues they should not be selling and or buying accounts. Real amature people at best, at worst... a bunch of ###s. Any one can charge back or refute a charge, get use to it! It's a gamble we all take, like identity theft when giving overly large amounts of info to strangers in China.

These guys take the time to make sure that we dont lose our accounts in the long run. I wish all sites actually cared about what happened after the sale as much as these guys did. 3 accounts bought so far and not a single problem with each one. Better yet, the way they make you protect your account is well worth the money spent versus losing your account like I read about happening so often.

Joe you are a complete liar. You are probabaly the company itself trying to defend itself. Like RB above, this company is so terrible. They are slow, chinese, and clearly cannot handle customer service with issues like mine. I bought an account, they tried to transfer it but could not, and refused to refund my order saying the transaction was complete. I will be disputing with my cc holder shortly, I have had enough. STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM TOONSTORM

I sold a 70 warrior to them, took about an hour to work everything out, money is in my paypal minutes after a verify phone call, the process is sorta slow, but its got me off wow, and $210 Australian in my pocket, im happy. I would recommend, if not for buying accounts, selling them was safe for me.

Harold, you are a lucky one. I had many issues with this company from the time I went to their live chat, to the time I ordered, to the time I still have not got my account. If toonstorm looks over this Please deliver my account, I have asked over and over, I haven't done anything wrong, but it's been weeks. My suggestion is anyone who buys from this site, don't they seem to be sketchy and my guildmates said that his account was banned recently when he ordered from this site. Ill give you news if I hear anything positive from this company.

No problems with Toonstorm at my end, had my new account for a month so far.

Granted, they were slow at making the transaction, and they were not able to deliver the first character I requested.
However, they offered a discount for any other character and I got one I was happy with.

So I'll gladly recommend going to these guys if you're looking for a new account.

I recently purchased an account from Toonstorm. Took all of two weeks to get banned. At first I thought "Here we go" when I filed the Paypal dispute. However...they answered within a few hours and issued a refund a short time later. I was very pleasantly surprised.

Hello everyone, I decided to google toonstorm to find out if others have been having trouble with them as well.
I baught an account only a couple days ago and now, just like the above poster I got that email from Blizzard.
I went to contact toonstorm's support and I was told to email a person with a bunch of details and he would get it sorted out. So I've done that now and I'm still waiting and waiting for an email back. Nothing yet...

I don't know what to do - file a paypal despute seems the only way to go?
I don't want to be ripped off for over 900 bucks!

Help appreciated!

Toonstorm banned my account as well. They offer a 100% security guarantee when you order an account which I selected. Well about two weeks in, I receive a notice my account was locked and would not be open. I tried emailing blizzard and toonstorm support without a reply. I dont get how a company can offer a 100% guarantee when they have no say over bannings period. Must advice, your account could or may get banned if you use toonstorm, so I advise against buying from a site that offers this type of guarantee.

A couple of people on the markee boards said this company account to account transfers resulted in the banning of all the accounts that previously sold and had on their site. In summary, every account ever sold and that was newly listed on the site was terminated a few weeks ago.

Any company in my mind that offers safe transfer of characters from account to account is only asking from trouble from blizzard. I have heard to many horror stories and though I have nothing against toonstorm, they really should not be offering this service for the safety of their customers. There is no real way to protect yourself either because blizzard specifically tracks this because of all the trojan and leveling fraud out there.

For those who were banned or about to get banned, it's what you get when you order account to account transfers at toonstorm.com.

Same issue the others speak of. Account was disabled for an economy exploit.

I put over 20,000 gold on that account, and spent a good 60 days trying to get the caracter maxed out. 500 EU down the drain. Toonstorm wont refund because it'sbeen to long. Thanks toonstorm!

Hello everyone im here to tell u guys my story about TOONSTORM.COM

This company sells world of warcraft accounts.

When i bought this account from toonstorm i did not even know that it was illigal to buy accounts. Later i found out that the accounts sold by toonstorm is property of world of warcraft.

This is how it went

first i bought an account (i still hate myself for doing this) for about 400 bucks. i got this log in and pass from them plus i also paid 65 bucks extra for account from wow. then when i tried to log in to my account from worldofwarcraft.com after a day it said that my account was baned because there were disputes about ownership. i went back to toonstorm.com trying to get a refund. they said they wouldn't give me one. I tried to fight them as much as i can but the person i was talking to dident speak English too well soo i gave up after a while.

After a month when i got my credit card bill in my hand... it said i paid toonstorm neerly $1000. I contacted toonstorm again this time and agressively demanding money back. they were being rude to me and saying they cant give me my money back since i got their service. yea i bought an item for 400 bucks not 1000. but on my credit card it said i have bought 3 items from them. i told toonstorm rep that i am going to call my credit card company and dispute these charges. 5 mins later i got a call from an international number. i picked up the phone and this guy with a heavy chineese accent was threatening me for a good 10 mins of if i dispute the charge there will be problems.

i contacted my credit card company immediately and started the dispute process and told them about the threating call also. It has been months but yet i do not have my money back.

If someone can please give me advice on what to do it would be appreciated. Im 19 yrs old and in college $1000 is a tuition for full class for me.

bank - Bank of America
product - www.toonstorm.com

and please do not buy any products from toonstorm.

The problem with toonstorm is the guarantee an account to be transferred to another account, but once they deliver it they offer no guarantee of it being banned. Blizzard banned my account I bought from another company because I transferred 3 toons off of it. I couldn't even negogiate with them to resolve the issue. The point is, with world of warcraft specifically, it's not safe to transfer an account to an account if you are not the original owner. This is why I think toonstorm business model in general is fraud, and would not buy from this company either.

I had a very good experience with this company. I sold two VERY good accounts with them ont he same day. Yes it does take a bit of time to complete the transactions but they PERSONALLY call your phone about 75% of the way through to verify who you are and then they complete the transaction. I sold 2 accounts in about 2.5 hours and the money was in my paypal ASAP as promised. I had ZERO issues.

I sold this company two accounts and about 1 month later I got a phone call on my cell saying I had reverted the information and would have to refund the payment if I didn't retrieve the accounts information. I have not changed anything and ToonStorm's story just doesn't add up... they said the information was changed but I was able to get the password sent back to the email under ToonStorms control with just the secret question and email address (which they said was changed but wasn't). This leads me to believe ToonStorm is trying to rip me off for my hard-earned money.

I found this site after trying a few other chinese "companies". I just wasn't satisfied with the price they offered. Toonstorm offered me about 50% more cash for my account. Its true that the process seem to be little "slow", but i dont see this as a problem. They seem very proffessinal and secure oriented... It took about 1-1½ hour before i had the money in my paypal account.
Im sure that they are not from china, the guy i spoke with sounded american... I tried speak with chinese gold sellers before, i can tell the diffrence... ;)

I think there's some chinese people here who see someone else is offering a better service, and they just trash talk...

this is only my p.o.v. tho :)

Toonstorm yet again bites the big one, I tried to buy an account, and not only spent a couple days waiting for them to give me the information on a toon that i spent way to much on but then half way through the phase of getting it transfered over the account has been froze and the toon was already SOLD...Toonstorm needs to do a better job of keeping track of toons they have, gotta find a new birthday present for my brother now.
