Total Wine & More Total Wine & More Reward Process Needs Improvement

Total Wine & More is a place we go to buy alcohol and other spirits every few months and we easily spend $100 there. Just the other day, we had another $100 order and I remembered that I had a $5 Reward which I could use on my purchase. I showed them the email which had the code needed for the reward but it wasn't that simple. The cashier informed me that I would have to log in to an account and then she would need to jump through some hoops. She even said that she would have to remove the order and redo it altogether. It was frustrating to go through so much trouble for such a small amount of money.

To be honest, this experience left a sour taste in our mouth. It's a shame that so many companies want customers to jump through so many hoops just to get a small discount or a reward. Sure, we all deserve perks for shopping at certain retail stores, but it shouldn't have to be a part-time job. Nowadays, it feels like we have to download an app for everything just to get a discount or earn a few rewards.

Despite this experience, we don't think we'll stop buying from Total Wine & More altogether. We might have to look for a few alternatives, but we still like their products. Just as long as we don't have to go through too many hoops to buy them.

Total Wine & More Disappointing Packaging Experience at Total Wine for Liquor Purchase

I recently stopped by Total Wine to pick up some liquor. Unfortunately, I have to say that I was very disappointed with the packaging of their products. As a 77-year-old, I have shopped in many liquor stores, but Total Wine has got the worst packaging I have ever seen.

The bags they use are made of cheap plastic that easily tears at the bottom seam. It seems like they are more focused on selling the product than making sure the packaging will hold up long enough for you to get to your car. I've experienced bag breaks twice now. The first time, I was able to catch the bottle before it hit the ground. However, the second time was not so lucky. The bottle smashed in the driveway, and I was left with a mess to clean up.

I decided to call the store manager to express my concerns, but I was met with apathy. He didn't seem to care that the packaging was inadequate, nor did he offer a sincere apology. The only thing he said was that he would report the issue to corporate. He didn't even want my contact information. I was shocked that he made no effort to rectify the situation by replacing or discounting a replacement bottle.

I have decided not to do business with Total Wine anymore, and I will go back to their competition in Houston; they know how to package their products in strong bags. I'm very upset about this experience and hope that Total Wine will take this criticism seriously so that no one else has to go through what I did.

Total Wine & More Total Wine & More Review: Excellent Selection, Knowledgeable Staff, and Consistently High Customer Service

Total Wine & More is one of my absolute favorite places to shop for alcohol. I personally, prefer going into a physical store rather than ordering online, I love to wander through the aisles and see what catches my eye. Thankfully, I have a Total Wine location in my hometown of Wilmington, DE that I visit often, but I have also been lucky enough to visit the locations in Orlando, FL and near Ft. Myers, FL as well. No matter which location I visit, I always notice that the prices are fair and the level of customer service is consistently high.

When it comes to my favorite types of alcohol, I am a big fan of craft beer, spirits (specifically whisky), and wine (mostly reds). I am constantly impressed by the suggestions and recommendations I receive from the knowledgeable employees stationed throughout the store. If I am looking for something specific or can't find what I need, the associates are always quick to provide me with a definitive answer. In fact, every time I chat with someone about alcohol, I recommend Total Wine as the go-to store for all their alcohol needs.

The team at Total Wine & More is what sets this store apart from others. The staff members are always friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, making my shopping experience a pleasant one every time. They are always quick to provide any assistance that I need, whether it's helping me find something specific or just providing me with general recommendations. It's evident that the employees genuinely enjoy what they do and are passionate about helping customers find what they're looking for.

Overall, Total Wine & More is a fantastic store that I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a wide variety of alcoholic beverages. If you're a fan of craft beer, spirits, and wine like I am, then this is definitely the store for you. I look forward to continuing to shop at Total Wine & More for years to come, and as someone who prefers to shop in stores rather than online, it's great to know that I can count on Total Wine & More to always provide me with excellent service and fair pricing.

Total Wine & More Total Wine's Online Coupon Policy Falls Short in Busy Times

Dang it Total Wine, what's the deal? We headed to your site to snatch some wine for pickup. Had two coupons, one that gets you a whopping 20% off if you get 6 bottles or more, and another one for 10%. We thought it was going to be a sweet deal, but the site denied our 20% discount even though we ordered up to 6 bottles. That's a bummer, but we adjusted our order to the 3 bottles we were dyin' to have, but then we couldn't get the 10% to go through. So we did the sensible thing and gave a ring to the local store to see what was up.

The dude from the store admitted that the company (or at least the fulfillment company online) has decided not to honor the coupons at this time due to being too swamped. You've gotta be kiddin' me! During these times when everyone is struggling, you've decided not to honor our coupons because you're too busy? That's not cool, man. That's some downright crappy business practice if you ask me. Especially when your store representative told us that if we called the online company, we could probably whine enough to get them to give us the discount. That guy should have just handled the situation and given us the $9 off we should have gotten.

Honestly, I'm reconsidering where I'll be getting my alcohol from now on.

Total Wine & More Total Wine & More Review: Extensive Selection with Affordable Alternatives; Lacking Mixed-Case Discount

My experience purchasing alcohol and wine from Total Wine & More has been quite satisfactory. I am a seasoned wine collector and lover of all things boozy. However, it is impossible to satisfy every individual's palate, as we all have different interests when it comes to alcoholic beverages. That being said, let me give you a rundown of my experience with Total Wine.

Total Wine serves a wide range of audience, from cheap boxed wines like Franzia, to some not-so-exciting old world finds. In states where they can sell alcoholic beverages, they do an amazing job of stocking off-brand items that are comparable to top-shelf brands at a fraction of the price. For instance, they have their own label Tower Vodka, which is a great match to Tito's. I highly recommend grabbing a bottle of Tower vodka if you are trying to watch your pennies.

However, there is one issue that I have with Total Wine - they don't offer a mixed-case discount. Personally, I don't see why they can't offer this discount. Especially now, during the pandemic, I feel like it would be a great incentive for people to buy and try new wines. I don't see why a mega store like Total Wine, that is making a decent profit during these boozy times, can't give this small incentive. In contrast, every small bottle store that is barely making ends meet, offers this discount. Surprisingly, when I inquired about this, the response I received was that it has to be from the same maker. Can you believe it, folks?

Overall, I recommend Total Wine & More. They do have an extensive stock of beers, wines, and spirits, and I appreciate their off-brand selections. However, I think they could step up their game by offering a mixed-case discount. It would be a small gesture, but it would go a long way in making their customers feel appreciated.

Total Wine & More Unpleasant Staff & Poor Navigation at Total Wine & More: Not Worth the Savings

Me and my old mom went to Total Wine & More for some holiday shopping. We heard the store was huge but we didn't expect such a bad attitude from their staff. When we arrived, a guy greeted us and started lecturing us for not having our masks in the right place (which was totally fine). We almost left right there, but we already drove 23 miles to get there. The store is indeed big, but it's really hard to navigate with the terrible signs they have.

We asked a worker for help, but he claimed he was "busy" and left us to look for someone else. The second employee we found was clearly inexperienced and couldn't help us at all. The third one just gave us a disinterested look and didn't even bother to pretend he cared. It was so frustrating that we ended up leaving without buying anything.

On our way out, we stopped a manager and told him about our experience. His response was "you can write a letter to the company". Excuse me?! We just wanted to do some shopping and have a pleasant experience, but instead, we were treated like annoyances.

To be honest, I don't think the few bucks you save by going to this place is worth being treated like that. You'd be better off finding a smaller store with nicer staff who actually care about their customers.

Total Wine & More Total Wine & More Review: Avoid at All Costs, Terrible Customer Service & Limited Selection

Total Wine & More? More like Total Disappointment and Frustration! Let me tell you, the customer service at this place is something to be avoided at all costs. I mean, seriously, I've had better luck finding helpful service at a gas station.

So there I was, wandering aimlessly through the aisles, looking for a particular Champagne. I approached two employees and asked for their help, but they both pretended to check stock and then disappeared into thin air. Frustrated and still Champagne-less, I decided to try my luck with a third employee who was typing away on a computer. I politely asked if they had any other Nouveau Beaujolais besides what was at the front of the store, but this employee was clearly having a bad day. He gave me attitude and told me to go check for myself. Talk about rude!

But, despite the terrible service, I managed to stumble upon a different brand of the Nouveau Beaujolais on my own. And while perusing the red wine aisle, I noticed a so-called "Champagne Tasting Booth" nearby. Don't waste your time, folks. It was a joke. The selection was very limited and underwhelming.

The only saving grace of this terrible experience was the friendly and knowledgeable cashiers. They were the only ones who seemed to care about helping me out. Maybe Total Wine & More should think about swapping their incompetent floor employees with the cashiers. And hiring a few good sommeliers couldn't hurt either.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're in desperate need of alcohol and don't mind terrible service.

Total Wine & More False Advertising at Total Wine: A Misleading Experience

I've visited Total Wine & More several times, and while I've had a generally positive experience, there is one recurring problem that I've encountered: false advertising. On more than one occasion, I've seen advertising for a specific wine with a particular vintage and point score from a reviewer, only to find that a different vintage is in the bin for sale. This has happened in several different stores across various cities, and every time I ask a store associate about it, I'm given the excuse that it was just an oversight. While I receive an apology and an offer to find a different wine, it seems that this issue happens far too often to be purely accidental.

In fact, I strongly believe that it is an intentional practice on the part of Total Wine. This opinion was further solidified when I ordered a specific vintage wine online and received a different vintage entirely. While I understand that each vintage can differ, it is misleading to advertise one vintage and then send another without any warning. When I contacted Total Wine's customer service about the issue, I was told that there was no guarantee that I would receive what I had actually ordered.

It's disappointing that this issue seems to be prevalent at Total Wine, as it undermines the trust that customers place in the store. While perhaps casual wine drinkers don't take issue with this, true wine connoisseurs who rely on vintages and scores will be understandably frustrated. I encourage anyone who wants to rely on wine ratings to double-check the actual bottle they're purchasing and compare it to the rating for that specific vintage.

Overall, I had a decent experience at Total Wine, but this misleading advertising practice leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It's a shame that a company with such a wide range of wines and spirits would choose to deceive its customers in this way.

Total Wine & More Disappointing Experience at Total Wine & More in Dallas, TX

Today, I went to Total Wine & More located on Park Ln in Dallas, TX. My experience wasn't the best. When I walked in, I noticed their little setup for samples. It surprised me that no one had ever asked me if I wanted to try some of their wine or liquor samples even though I've been shopping there for a long time. Nonetheless, I didn't say anything and just continued looking around.

Next, I tried to buy some cognac, but it was locked up. Although I asked one guy if he had the key, he didn't, so I had to wait 10 minutes for another worker to finish conversating with a customer in order to unlock the cabinets. I needed two bottles of the 750ml of Hennessy, but still had to wait another 10 minutes while the worker explained something to another customer about the difference between a 1 liter and a 1.75 liter bottle. I was in a rush as I was riding the bus and my time was limited.

Finally, the worker brought out my request and took the liquor to customer service. However, I had to tell the others there that he needed to walk our liquor to the front, but they looked very confused. Then, he told me to go to another line and tell the cashier to go to customer service to pick up my Hennessy before ringing me up. It took another 10 minutes, and it was already after 6:00 pm. All I wanted to do was enjoy my evening during this COVID-19 pandemic because my birthday was in a few hours.

Lastly, when I got to the register, the sign read "credit or debit only," but I had two bottles at customer service. When I told the cashier, she responded that the line was for credit or debit only. I was frustrated because I had read the sign before getting in the line. Overall, my experience at Total Wine & More wasn't the best and I left feeling a little rubbed the wrong way.

Total Wine & More Overcharged by $20 at Total Wine & More - Buyer Beware!

Be careful when you're shopping at Total Wine & More. I had an issue with my receipt and was overcharged by $20 for a bottle of bourbon. I'm not sure whether it was a mistake or intentional, but it's frustrating nonetheless. I live pretty far away from the store, so it's going to be a pain to go back and request a refund. When I got in touch with customer service, they suggested that I try to find the receipt (which I'm unable to locate) and the bottle (which I had already opened) and then return to the store. Despite the frustration, I have to say that the customer service representative was helpful, which at least made me feel a little better about the situation. It would have been easy for her to brush me off, but she actually seemed to care about my issue. In the end, I'm not sure if I'll return to Total Wine & More. It's tough to know if the overcharge was intentional or just a mistake, but it still left me with a bad taste in my mouth. If you do decide to shop here, just make sure you keep an eye on your receipts. Buyer beware!

Total Wine & More Review: Total Wine & More - Great Selection, Some Locations Enforcing Mask Policies

Total Wine & More (totalwine.com) is a great place to shop for all of your wine needs. However, be aware that some location may be enforcing mask policies. For example, at the Sugar Land location, they may ask you to leave if you are not wearing a mask.

It was disappointing to be asked to leave after we had already spent time and money at the store. We had around $800 in our basket and were purchasing for a large party. But unfortunately, one manager asked us to leave because we were not wearing a mask.

We did walk through the store without any issues, passing several employees and other managers who did not say anything about our lack of a mask. It was only when we were in line to check out that we were asked to leave.

It's understandable that the store would want to enforce safety policies, but it's also important to remember that customers may have personal reasons for not wearing a mask. It's a reminder that the COVID-19 pandemic has affected all of us in different ways.

That said, if you are someone who does regularly wear a mask, then Total Wine & More (totalwine.com) is a great place to shop. They have a large selection of wine and spirits, and the prices are competitive. It's also easy to find what you are looking for, thanks to the organization of the store.

All in all, if you are looking for a place to shop for wine and spirits, check out Total Wine & More (totalwine.com). Just make sure to bring your mask if you are visiting the Sugar Land location.

Total Wine & More Poor Customer Service and Faulty Purchase: My Disappointing Experience at Total Wine & More

I recently made a special purchase at Total Wine & More - a bottle of wine that cost $199. Imagine my disappointment when I opened the bottle, only to find that the cork was broken and the wine inside was undrinkable. It was clear that the bottle had been incorrectly stored at the store - a major blunder in my eyes.

I immediately took the bottle back to the store, hoping that the staff would help resolve the issue. Unfortunately, the manager was far from helpful. In fact, they said, "there is nothing I can do." I was speechless and disappointed at the same time. It's hard to believe that such poor customer service could be offered at such a reputable store. It's safe to say that I won't be shopping here again anytime soon.

It's always frustrating to deal with bad customer service, and it's even more distressing when you're dealing with a pricey purchase. In my case, I didn't even receive a small store credit or offer for a replacement bottle. It's clear that Total Wine & More has a lot of work to do when it comes to looking after their valued customers.

In conclusion, my experience at Total Wine & More was extremely disappointing. The poor customer service I received and lack of resolution for my faulty purchase has left me feeling frustrated and upset. I can't put into words how let down I was by this experience, and I hope that others aren't forced to go through similar situations in the future. It's certainly a loss for Total Wine & More, as they have now lost a valued customer.

Total Wine & More Total Wine & More Review: Great Selection, Lackluster Service

Total Wine & More (totalwine.com) is the absolute best when it comes to having what you need and having it in abundance, no questions asked. However, and this is important, I believe they should invest in employees who are a little more passionate about their products. Sometimes, it's an uphill struggle to find someone to aid in your search, but when you do they aren't the most useful. Instead of checking stock or offering personal recommendations, a lot of the time they will bluntly advise an item is out of stock without utilizing their systems or will suggest a product based solely on what the label says. It's disappointing, to say the least, and it can result in you purchasing something that is far from ideal.

Net net - The folks at Total Wine claim that their employees are on a personal mission to provide their consumers with the best service and the greatest selection of wines and spirits. However, there's often no one to be seen, and when you do spy someone, they may not be the most helpful. Their ideals and practices come across as they promise, but less emphasis on quantity of products might be a solution in the short term so that the employees have the chance to be more helpful. A revised blueprint for employee training could add a lot of value.

Total Wine & More Unsafe Experience at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, GA: No Mask & Lack of Personal Space

I recently visited the Total Wine & More store in Kinnesor, Georgia on 2-18-22, and unfortunately had a negative experience with a fellow customer. As I was browsing the aisles, this individual continuously came within a foot of me, making me feel uncomfortable. Despite my attempts to move away, he kept coming closer. To make matters worse, he was not wearing a mask in the store, which is concerning given the ongoing pandemic.

When I expressed my concerns to him, he responded in a rude and dismissive manner, saying that the state of Georgia does not require masks to be worn. He even went so far as to ask me if I was scared of him, which was completely uncalled for. I reported this incident to an employee at Total Wine, but was disappointed to hear that there was nothing they could do about it.

As a customer, I expect to feel safe and respected when I shop at a store like Total Wine & More. It's highly disappointing to see such a disregard for basic safety measures like wearing a mask and respecting personal space during a global health crisis. I hope that Total Wine takes this type of situation seriously and takes steps to ensure that all customers feel comfortable and safe while shopping.

Total Wine & More Total Wine & More Review: Decent Selection and Prices But Rewards Program Falls Short

Total Wine & More is a liquor store that is well-known for their range of options and great prices. However, there are a few things that I didn't like about my shopping experience. First off, Total Wine & More doesn't have a rewards program that is automatically applied at checkout. You have to manually activate it online and keep track of your rewards yourself. Even after doing this for a year, I realized that I hadn't earned any points. I was disappointed to find out that I had missed out on points just because I hadn't remembered to activate my rewards.

On their website, Total Wine & More does state their terms and conditions for their rewards program, but it's still frustrating to have to keep track of points manually. When I called customer service to ask about my missing rewards, they told me that many people enjoy accumulating points. While I appreciate that they're trying to create an incentive for customers to come back, I think that it would be easier and more effective if the rewards program was automated.

Furthermore, Total Wine & More's reward program seems a bit of a "sham" to me. Their reward program offers $5 off for every 5,000 accumulated points. However, it seems like it would take a long time to accumulate that many points, and it's unlikely that many customers will actually use the reward. I think that Total Wine & More would be better off offering smaller rewards that customers can redeem more quickly.

Overall, I think that Total Wine & More is a good place to buy liquor, but their rewards program isn't great. If you're looking for a liquor store with a decent selection and prices, then this is a good option. However, if you're hoping to earn rewards or get discounts, then you may want to look elsewhere.

Total Wine & More My experience at Total Wine: Good selection, but pushy advertising for Winery Direct wines

Total Wine is a good place to find alcoholic beverages like wine and beer. I like that they have lots of choices, but I have noticed that they seem to really want me to buy certain wines. They always talk about the "Winery Direct" wines, but I'm not always a fan of them. I tried their "Buttercream Chardonnay" once and it tasted fake to me, like they added chemicals to make it taste like butter. I told them I didn't like it, but they keep advertising it. This makes me wonder if they make more money from selling these Winery Direct wines, so they really want people to buy them. But they do have some really good wines that aren't advertised as much, so they must just really like the Winery Direct ones. Overall, I think Total Wine is alright, but I also think they could do a better job showing all the good wines they have, not just the ones they want you to buy.

Total Wine & More Terrible Customer Service Experience at Total Wine & More: Threatened By Employee and Yelled at By Others

I had an experience at Total Wine & More that was very unpleasant. I had just walked in the store and was needing some help finding a certain bottle, when multiple employees started to hound me about putting on a mask. As someone who has a medical condition that makes it difficult to breathe with a mask on, I was trying to explain this to them, but they didn't seem to believe me.

To make matters worse, this employee named Imad had such a hostile attitude towards me. He started to threaten to call the police on me! I couldn't believe it - the situation was completely out of hand. Then, before I knew it, there were 4 or 5 other employees who surrounded me and started to yell at me, telling me to leave the store.

I decided to raise my voice intentionally so everyone around me would hear what was happening. It was an upsetting and terrifying experience. What kind of place treats their customers like this?

When I left the store, there were a few customers who followed me asking if I was okay and expressing their outrage at what they had just witnessed. It was clear to everyone there that the way I was treated was completely unacceptable, especially since I have medical disabilities.

It's a shame that my trip to Total Wine & More was such a negative one. I hope that they will use this situation as a learning experience and teach their employees to be more understanding and empathetic to their customers. I definitely won't be returning to the store anytime soon.

Total Wine & More Unsatisfactory Experience at Total Wine & More: Failure to Exchange Keg, Strict ID Policy, and Poor Customer Service

I recently went to Total Wine & More to exchange a keg with my daughter-in-law and have to say, my experience was not good. So, I dropped off my keg in the front, as I usually do, and we went to pick up another one. When we reached the cash register to checkout, the cashier asked both of us for our IDs. Unfortunately, my daughter-in-law did not have hers with her. The cashier informed us that we could not exchange the keg without the ID. It was a bummer, but I was willing to go back and grab her ID.

However, things took a turn for the worse when the manager told me that I couldn't come back to buy alcohol that same day since I was already caught on camera. I was pretty upset about this, and to make things worse, the manager did not allow me to grab the keg that I returned since she did not witness me dropping it off.

Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed with the level of customer service I received at Total Wine & More. It was the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I would not be visiting the store again.
Although the store has a wide range of products, I would think twice before shopping there based on my experience.
