Touch of Modern It's just the shipping time frame

After, reading all the horrible reviews I was compelled to write a good one. I have ordered from from ToMO many times and all of their products are amazing the hand carve chess set was by far the best Christmas gift given in my entire life. I also was given store credit for a pair of shoes that didn't fit my husband even pass the 7 days. Yes, customer service via email was a pain and needs improvement for sure but in the end I received the credit. The only reason why I gave a 4 star and not 5 is because the company needs to get under logistics. The product can take months to get.

Touch of Modern They should be called touch of scam

I ordered a solar powered plant stand in late nov 2023, order confirmation said it would ship by end of december 2023, well it is now feb 2024, no item, no refund. Their customer service is a run around, I have over 20 emails of them doing nothing. "miguel duarte" and "andrew t" said oh we are having logistics problems or please give us more time, or sorry I will escalate this to a level 3 agent. There is no customer service this place scammed me. I hope the state attorney general does something. I sure plan to file complaints with everyone I can including bbb and ag.

Touch of Modern Touch of Modern Review: Terrible Service, No Delivery, and No Refund

I recently made a purchase from Touch of Modern and it was a complete disaster. I was extremely disappointed with the service I received. After waiting for over a month and three weeks, I still had not received my merchandise. I tried calling them but was unable to get through as they do not take calls. I had to resort to emailing them instead.

I finally received an email from an associate who informed me that part of my order had been delivered. However, I had not received anything at all. I searched high and low but could not find any trace of my merchandise. I emailed the associate back and explained the situation, but they simply repeated that part of my order had been delivered.

To make matters worse, the associate also informed me that the other merchandise I had ordered was not available. So, in the end, I did not receive any of the items I had ordered. It was a complete waste of my time and money. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid shopping at Touch of Modern. It is incredibly frustrating to spend your hard-earned money and not receive anything in return.

I would not recommend this place to anyone, and I would not even give it a single star. The fact that they take your money without delivering your merchandise is unacceptable. I will never shop at Touch of Modern again.

Touch of Modern Touch of Modern Review: A Complete Scam - Save Yourself the Trouble and Shop Elsewhere

I rarely take the time to write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience with Touch of Modern. Let me start by saying that I wish there was a zero-star rating, because that's what they deserve. ToM is a complete scam. They don't stand behind their own promises. I purchased a watch from them, and when it arrived, it was missing an accessory that was advertised in the description. They offered me a full refund or a partial refund for the missing accessory. I chose the full refund, and they told me to ship the watch back to them, and then they would give me a full refund. We communicated by email, so everything was documented.

Once they received the watch, they stopped communicating with me, and I never received my refund. I sent them emails for about a month, and they never replied. I paid for the watch with my Discover card via PayPal, so I decided to call PayPal. They opened a case right away, and I provided them with all the emails from ToM. In two days, ToM emailed me and said that I had to close the case with PayPal in order to get a refund. They lied to me and said that the funds were locked because of the open case. So, I fell for their trick and closed the case with PayPal. But I still didn't get my refund. Instead, they gave me a store credit, and even that credit was $60 less than what I paid for the watch.

When I called PayPal again, they couldn't help me anymore, and they explained that ToM lied about the case blocking the funds. They advised me to open a case with Discover, so I did. It's been two months since I opened the case, and it's still unresolved.

In conclusion, I strongly advise against doing business with Touch of Modern. They are a complete scam, and they will lie to you and cheat you out of your money. Save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere.

Touch of Modern Touch of Modern Review: Great Customer Service, Understanding Shipping and Sizing

I've been a loyal customer of Touch of Modern for many years now, and I must say that most of my experiences with them have been very good. What I appreciate the most about them is their willingness to take back items that were "final sale," which is a rare thing to find in the world of online shopping. Just today, I received a pair of slippers that were too small, and I was surprised to receive a prompt response from a human (Julie) within 10 minutes of my initial email. That's what I call excellent customer service!

However, I do understand that some people may have had a different experience with Touch of Modern, and I believe that it's important to understand a few things about them to avoid any confusion or disappointment. For instance, they have four different types of delivery/shipping speed that you might encounter when purchasing items from their website. These include Quick Ship, Bulk Order, Back Stock, and Direct from Partner. Each of these has its own definition, which you can find on their website.

When it comes to clothing, it's worth noting that many of their items are slim fit or modern fit. If you're a regular guy like me who wants comfort, you may want to size up or avoid this cut of clothing altogether. However, some clothing items are normal fit, so it's always best to ask if you're not sure. As an example, I recently ordered a leather jacket in XL, even though I usually wear a large. I did this because I know that some of their items can be snug, and I wanted to make sure that it fits me perfectly.

It's also worth mentioning that pretty much all customer service is done by email. While this may not be ideal for some people who prefer to speak to someone over the phone, I've never had any issues with their email support.

Overall, I highly recommend Touch of Modern, and my personal experience with them has been mostly positive. However, I do believe that understanding how they operate, particularly how and when they ship items, can help reduce or eliminate any disappointment. If you're looking for something fast, make sure to check if it's in "quick ship" status, as this means that it's available to ship the next business day (or even the same day, depending on when you placed your order). If not, you may have to wait a bit longer to receive your item.

Touch of Modern Disgusting

So is this what touch of modern calls making up for losing my order the first time? Receiving a broken product and not my full order? But it's okay, their automatic reply assured me I'd be helped promptly. When they originally lost the first order the response time was 4 weeks after I had already waited 6 weeks for the item and I had recieved store credit after waiting a total of 10 weeks for something I never recieved and now what I actually had recieved is broken and unsalvageable. This has to be some joke if you think I'll be happy with another store credit. After today, this site will be recognized on all my social media as well for their quality products and fantastic customer service. Have a day you deserve.

Recommendation: Don't waste your money or time

Touch of Modern Touch of Modern (TOMO) Review: Unethical Practices, Low-Quality Products, and Unhelpful Customer Service

Let me share with you my recent experience with Touch of Modern (TOMO) or touchofmodern.com. I was excited to finally purchase something from this online store, and I decided to buy a Pillow Guy (PG) pillow. The product listing boasted that the pillow was a high-quality luxury item with great attention to detail. Unfortunately, my excitement waned when I received my 'luxury' product.

To start with, the teal colored cover of the pillow had holes where the zipper had come apart from the cover. Moreover, there is another hole where a white band piece is around the pillow, and to make matters worse, you could see where the stitching was just falling apart. The pillow was just a holey mess that looked nothing like the high-quality product described in the listing.

What really gets me is the price point. At $80, I expected a high-quality, luxury pillow, but what I received was a cheaply made product that even Walmart wouldn't sell. It is fraudulent for TOMO to charge such a high price for such a poorly made product and call it luxury. Tomo’s customer service team was also a disappointment as they were completely unhelpful.

Moreover, I was appalled to find out that this online store refused to accept any returns, even for poorly made products such as the PG pillow. They do not offer refunds nor exchanges, which to me seems like the height of unethical business practice. It seems that TOMO knows they are stealing people's money by selling low-quality products at high prices.

In conclusion, Touch of Modern (TOMO) should be ashamed of their unethical business practices. They sell low-quality products at unreasonably high prices and have an unhelpful customer service team. Victims are left without any recourse as they do not offer refunds nor exchanges. Honestly, if you are looking for high-quality products, there are far better options out there, and I would highly recommend that you stay away from TOMO.

Touch of Modern Disappointing Experience with touchofmodern.com: Delayed Orders, Refunds, and Poor Customer Service

I recently had an experience with touchofmodern.com that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I was excited to order two Jared Lang shirts in mid-January, but soon ran into some issues. After submitting my order, I was informed that the shirts wouldn't ship for another three weeks. I was a bit surprised to learn this, especially since my card had already been charged at the time of the order.

Fast forward three weeks, and I received another message from touchofmodern.com. This time, they informed me that the items I'd ordered were no longer available and that they would be issuing me a refund. Needless to say, I was pretty unhappy with this turn of events.

But that's not all. I'd also ordered a cardigan, which arrived three weeks later. Unfortunately, the cardigan I received didn't look like the one I'd seen on the site. I immediately reached out to their customer service team (which only allows messaging), but was shocked to be told that the return period had already expired and that I wouldn't be able to get a refund.

Overall, my experience with touchofmodern.com was not a positive one. I'm left feeling like this retailer is a bit of a scam. It seems like they might be making money off the float between the time you order your items and the time they fulfill your order (or issue a refund). On top of that, the items they do fulfill seem to be different from what's advertised on the site.

Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend staying away from this retailer. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they're out of business in a few months. Save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere!

Touch of Modern Review: Disappointing Backlit Canvas from Touch of Modern - Low Quality Construction And Short Lifespan

After purchasing a backlit canvas from Touch of Modern, I eagerly awaited its arrival. However, it took two weeks to get here, which was a bit disappointing. When I finally received the product and unboxed it, I noticed that the packaging seemed better quality than the canvas itself. Despite my initial reservations, I decided to go ahead and try out the product.

Unfortunately, my experience with the canvas was far from positive. I had to go out and buy a 9V battery to put into it, but discovered that the battery connection was hot glued to the inside of the wooden frame - a surprisingly low quality construction method. I hung up the canvas using the oversized nails that came with it and was initially pleased to see it light up. However, when I returned home 24 hours later, the canvas was no longer illuminated. I asked my wife if she had turned it off, but she had not.

Frustrated, I went out and bought another 9V battery, but the canvas still wouldn't turn on. At this point, I was feeling more than a little angry - I even smashed the product in half and swore revenge on the company by writing negative reviews. However, after reflecting on my actions, I realized that my frustration wasn't entirely unfounded. In the past, even cheap products would last at least a month or two, whereas this product stopped working after just 24 hours.

While I'm still unhappy with my experience, I try to remind myself that not all companies are created equal. Touch of Modern may not have lived up to my expectations, but I'll keep searching for quality products and retailers that I can trust.

Touch of Modern Disappointing Experience with Touch of Modern's Customer Service: A Review

Touch of Modern is an online company that disappoints me in a variety of ways. I had an unpleasant experience with them when I purchased a Handy Gym that I was looking forward to using. After waiting a long time to receive it, I was disappointed to find out that it arrived with defects. To my disappointment, my efforts to have it repaired or replaced were met with resistance. Frustrated, I reached out to Touch of Modern's "VIP Customer Service" team, but their level of service fell short of the meaning of the term VIP in every possible way. The company's representatives were condescending and didn't take my concerns seriously. I found their attitude to be uncivil and disrespectful despite my being an educated consumer with an advanced degree (JD and LLM).

What aggravated me the most was the fact that I was given the run-around for nearly three months. I was passed from one department to another, receiving no help. When I asked for a return authorization, they redirected me to Handy Gym, who in turn referred me back to Touch of Modern. This made me feel like they lacked professionalism and customer service skills.

I finally contacted my credit card company and disputed the charge. They resolved the issue by crediting me the purchase amount. I then informed Touch of Modern that I would dispose of the product unless they provided me with an RMA by an agreed-upon deadline. It was only at that point that they sent me the RMA.

To provide a consumer's perspective on Touch of Modern, I discovered that several other merchants sell the same items at lower prices with far more customer service. Therefore, Touch of Modern is not the best option for shoppers looking for a positive shopping experience online.

Touch of Modern Touch of Modern: Deceptive Marketing Tactics & Inaccurate Products - A Loyal Customer's Review

As a frequent shopper on Touch of Modern, I have noticed a worrying trend in their marketing techniques. Recently, I have come across descriptions of products that are completely at odds with the reality of what I have purchased. The images of the product are heavily photoshopped, making it difficult to discern what you're buying at times. For instance, I bought the "Decobeam RGB Desk Lamp" only to find out that it was a shoddy imitation of what was advertised on their website. Instead of a solid line of diffused RGB light strips, the product was nothing but a cheap, clear plastic tower with the option for only one color. Not even the instruction manual given was of any help as the two sentences in it were inaccurate and unworkable. It's frustrating as a consumer to not even know who the manufacturer or supplier of the product is.

Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident as I have noticed similar discrepancies in other products sold on their website. It's gotten to a point where I've had to opt-out of their marketing emails as I no longer trust their honesty as a company.

What's more concerning is that Touch of Modern has removed the ability for users to give product reviews on their website. This seems a blatant move to hide negative reviews and continue with their deceptive business practices. It's sad to see a company that was once reputable losing its integrity and resorting to scamming its loyal customers.

Touch of Modern Touch of Modern Review: Steady decline of quality and service

As someone who has been a loyal customer of Touch of Modern for a number of years, it's with great disappointment that I write this review. While I used to have positive experiences with this company, it's been on a steady decline for quite some time.

My troubles began over five years ago when I ordered a clock that arrived completely smashed. In order to receive a refund, I had to jump through a series of hoops and even record a video of the damaged box and clock. Then, I ordered an expensive watch that was advertised as new but arrived in used and beat-up condition. Though I was eventually refunded, I had to fight for it and it left a sour taste in my mouth.

Despite these experiences, I continued to shop with Touch of Modern, as they did have some unique and fun products. However, my recent experience ordering a watch has left me fed up. Not only did the watch arrive three weeks late (taking over six weeks total despite their stated 2-3 week delivery time), but it was also defective straight out of the box.

When I contacted them by email (as they have no phone number), they accused me of lying about the issue and not knowing how to use the watch. I followed their instructions to return it so they could "see if I am correct," but now, three weeks later, I have yet to receive any follow-up from them. They have my money and my defective watch, and who knows what they plan to do about it.

It's clear that this is not how a business should operate, and I'm frankly surprised that Touch of Modern is still in business at all. While they may have some great items to offer shoppers, my recommendation is to avoid the frustration and disappointment by purchasing elsewhere - either locally, from the manufacturer's website, on eBay or Amazon, or anywhere else besides Touch of Modern. Touch of Modern Beware of Touch of Modern: Unreliable, Unprofessional, and Unresponsive

I recently had an unpleasant experience with Touch of Modern (touchofmodern.com), which I must share with you all. I was in the market for a Canada Goose coat and stumbled upon a great deal on their website. Excitedly, I placed the order and was over the moon to see that it was accepted. However, my excitement was short-lived. To my dismay, Touch of Modern charged my credit card the full amount for the coat, even though they did not have it in stock, and had not shipped it. To make matters worse, I received no communication from them about the status of my order.

After weeks of waiting and no update from their end, I finally received an email from Touch of Modern, saying that their vendor did not have the coat in stock and they would be unable to fulfil my order. They stated that they would refund my money. While I was glad that they were finally providing a resolution to the issue, I couldn't help but feel that their business practices were unprofessional, and their lack of communication left a lot to be desired.

In my opinion, the fact that they charged my credit card, kept the money for over a month, and only offered to return it after I reached out to them, seems like a shady business tactic. I strongly urge others not to deal with this company as I deeply believe it is not a one-off case.

I made multiple attempts to contact Touch of Modern to try and reach a satisfactory resolution. Given their negligence and incompetence, I even provided them with the option of offering me a comparable coat at the same cost. But they bluntly declined.

Being a senior citizen, I felt particularly vulnerable in this situation. However, no one deserves such a horrible experience as the one Touch of Modern provided me with. They are unreliable, unprofessional, and their unresponsiveness left me feeling frustrated and outraged. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision before they choose to do business with them.

Touch of Modern Touch of Modern: A Disappointing Decline in Customer Service

I have been a loyal customer to Touch of Modern since 2014, and have always been drawn to their unique products and competitive prices. However, I have recently experienced a decline in their customer service. Time and time again, my orders have been delayed, particularly during the holiday season, causing great inconvenience to me and my loved ones. I was even informed that one of my orders, which was specifically intended to be Christmas decorations, was cancelled as the supplier could not fulfill it weeks later. Despite calling them to cancel and request a refund, they refused, quoting that all sales were final. This was in spite of their initial advertisement which stated that it was meant for Christmas decorations and that it would be shipped within two weeks from the order date. I was truly disappointed in their refusal to make amends after failing to deliver on their promises.

Another issue that I encountered was their lack of responsiveness to my inquiries. Their replies were templated, and it seemed like they were not putting in much effort to provide customer support. I had even received a survey from them, asking for my feedback on their service, but when I replied with my concerns, they never responded. This led me to believe that their staff is not motivated to provide quality customer service, which is essential in this day and age.

Replacing them with other e-commerce websites is what I am planning to do after the arrival of my last order with them. Understandably, this is a tough realization for me, as I have trusted them for nearly a decade and have spent tens of thousands of dollars on their products. I recall when they committed a mistake and were unable to deliver orders in the past, they would issue a credit of $10 to $20 to compensate for their lapses in their service. This made me feel that they cared about their customers' satisfaction. However, that is no longer the case for me. Instead, they now seem to lack empathy and accountability for their shortcomings.

To anyone considering purchasing from Touch of Modern, I advise that you research the product elsewhere before making a decision. More often than not, you can find the same item at a similar or cheaper price elsewhere. With their current quality of customer service, it seems that it is no longer worth the risk of ordering from them.

Touch of Modern Touch of Modern Review: Poor Quality and Disappointing Service

As someone who has been a customer of Touch of Modern, I must say that my experience was far from satisfactory. I had ordered three items - two pictures and a mask that claimed to filter air particulate down to a size of one micron. Unfortunately, my experience with all three of these items was highly disappointing.

When I received the two pictures I had ordered from this company, I was disappointed to find that they looked like they were mass produced in a dollar store. The quality was extremely poor, leaving me greatly underwhelmed.

However, that was not the worst part of my experience with Touch of Modern. I had also ordered a "respirator" mask which was even more problematic. I had to wait for weeks for the company to fill my order for the filtration mask, which was highly frustrating. After weeks of waiting, I decided to order the same mask directly from the manufacturer. To my surprise, I received the mask a week before Touch of Modern even provided me with an update that the item was ready to ship.

Upon trying the mask out, I found that it was an absolute waste of money. The mask was priced around $80, which is highly expensive, but what made it even worse was that it did not function as advertised. The mask was supposed to filter particulate down to 0.1 micron, but there was no way to obtain a decent seal on the mask. I tried performing a fit test using isoamyl acetate and found that I immediately had a strong smell and taste of the banana oil, indicating that no protection was provided by the device at all. The mask did not function the way it was advertised and was of absolute garbage quality.

As a registered nurse, I have used several masks in the past and have never had any issues with similar masks of the same price range. However, this "respirator" mask was an absolute disappointment. When I contacted Touch of Modern to cancel my order, I was informed that because the order had already been processed, I could not make any changes or cancellations. They also refused to accept a return of the item if it had already been shipped, regardless of the quality of the product.

In conclusion, I would highly recommend that people avoid Touch of Modern's subpar products. The items that I received were of extremely poor quality and did not function as advertised. In addition, their customer service was unsatisfactory and their return policy was highly frustrating. Save your money and avoid purchasing from Touch of Modern.

Touch of Modern Mixed Experience with Touch of Modern: Poor Customer Service and Inconsistent Sizing for Jackets

My experience with Touch of Modern (touchofmodern.com) has been a mixed one. When I first started ordering from them, they provided decent service. However, as time went by, their attention to detail seemed to decrease. Many of the products lacked full descriptions and their customer service became slower and slower in responding to my queries.

Recently, I had an issue with them regarding the sizing of their jackets. They supply jackets made in Turkey, but the sizing seems to be all over the place. There is no standard size in Turkey, so an XL can be anywhere from 42 inches to 54 inches for the chest size. It is important to include a size chart that clearly shows the European or American sizes for customers to choose the right one.

Unfortunately, it seems that no one checks the products as they arrive to confirm that the sizes match the chart. When I ordered a jacket six weeks ago, I had to request confirmation of the sizing chart and it took me four days to receive a response from their customer service department. To be on the safe side, I ordered a 2XL with a 48.8-inch chest size. However, when I received the jacket, it was disappointingly small, with sleeves that were four inches too short and an actual chest size of just 45 inches instead of the expected 48.8 inches.

I contacted their customer service department and was authorized to return the jacket. Unfortunately, it cost me to return it, which I found unfair as it was their mistake. After multiple emails, they finally relented and refunded the mailing charges.

Overall, my experience with Touch of Modern has been negative. With lengthy delivery times and multiple emails just to resolve a simple issue, I will not order from them again. I believe it's important for them to hire people to check the sizes and website descriptions. With the few products they have for sale, it should not be too difficult for them to do so. It is no surprise that Amazon is doing so well while TOM is receiving numerous bad reviews.

Touch of Modern 8 Year Customer, Service Has Plummetted

I've been purchasing select items from TOMO since 2014 consistently. I've always liked the unique items and in many cases the good prices. But the customer service at TOMO isn't what it used to be. This past year, they failed to deliver items on time multiple times, especially around the holidays. I even had an ordered cancelled weeks later stating the supplier couldn't fulfill. An item that was two months late and hadn't shipped and was for Christmas specifically (decorations) didn't arrive in time for the holiday. I called them and requested a cancellation and refund. They refused stating all sales are final. I pointed out their ad said this was for Christmas and it wasn't going to make it in time and that they stated it would ship with 2 weeks of order which had been more than a month earlier. Again stated they failed to deliver on time and should refund my money. They refused. Three other items ordered weeks before Christmas stating they would ship within 2 weeks still haven't shipped and Valentines day is 11 days away. Anytime you reach out to them for an update they use a templated response. Last time i emailed about the above mentioned items, they never responded to me but had the nerve to send me a survey asking how they did. They got a zero as I pointed out they never even attempted to help me. I will no longer be buying from TOMO once my last items arrive. They are losing an 8 year customer who has spent tens of thousands with them simply because their staff is lazy and doesn't want to provide good customer service. In the early days when they made a mistake or couldn't deliver they issued a credit of $10 or $20 to make up for it. Now they just ignore you. Here's a tip. See an item you like? Google it and find it elsewhere often for the same price or cheaper. Ive done it several times.

Touch of Modern Poor quality products

I've ordered three items from this company: all were of very poor quality and/or do not function as advertised.

I ordered two pictures and a mask that is supposed to filter air particulate down to one micron in size:

A) The two pictures arrived and look like something you would purchase in a dollar store.

B) The "respirator" mask is even more of a problem. Because Touch of Modern was taking a long time to fill the order for the filtration mask I ordered one directly from the manufacturer and received it before Touch of Modern has even provided an update that the item is ready to ship (I received the mask a week ago from the manufacturer, Touch of Modern still indicates that it is waiting to ship their order). The mask is absolute crap and was ~ $80 with tax. The manufacturer claims it filters particulate down to 0.1 micron, yet I could not obtain a decent seal on the mask. I performed a fit test using isoamyl acetate (otherwise known as banana oil). I immediately had a strong smell and taste of the banana oil indicating absolutely no protection was provided by this device. Absolute garbage. I tried adjusting the mask - it simply does not provide protection as advertised (I am a registered nurse who uses other masks that do not have this issue). I cannot cancel the order I placed on the Touch of Modern website even though it still has not shipped and they will not accept a return of this item after it is shipped. From the Touch of Modern website:

"Touch of Modern works with our vendors daily to ensure production and delivery of orders as quickly as possible. This process starts from the moment our customers place an order. That means it's not possible for us to cancel or modify an order, but it's also how we're able to provide great products at steeply discounted prices. Please make sure you are aware of any return policy prior to making your purchase."

Well that's convenient for them.

Avoid their over-hyped, cheap junk.

Touch of Modern So i had been buying from TOM since early 2015

Initially they provided a fairly good service if you can wait the 4-6 week delivery times while they submitted the accumulated orders to their suppliers, (to obtain their bulk discounts). Over the years their attention to detail grew more and more lax. Many items lacked complete descriptions and their customer service got slower and slower. Lately when asking a question about an item it has taken 4 days to get a reply. Which brings me to a recent issue I had with them. If you visit TOM you will no doubt see jackets supplied under different names but mostly made in Turkey. Nice styles but take note of the sizes, there seems to be no standard in Turkey as a XL chest size can range from 42" to 54" So the addition of a size chart comparing the sizes to European or American sizes are a must. Sadly it seems that no one checks the products as they are received to confirm the sizes match the chart. I ordered a Jacket around 6 weeks ago but first had to request confirmation of the sizes shown to American sizes. That took four days to get a reply and a further day for the CS rep to send a chart showing size comparisons (see attached image). To be safe I ordered a 2XL = 48.8" chest (American). I waited the mandatory 4 weeks and was excited to get the jacket. That soon turned to utter disappointment when I tried to fit into this extremely small garment. The sleeves ended up being 4 inches too short and the chest measurement was in fact just 45" and not the 48.8" as shown on the chart. E-mailing the CS department resulted in a return authorization label and a 35 mile trip to the FedEx drop of point for the return. Seven days later I received a refund less the original postage, why? It was their fault the size was incorrect why should I pay postage for their mistake? After 3 more e-mails and some back and forth they relented and refunded the mailing charges.

Personally I will never order from TOM again. Six weeks of waiting, plus multiple e-mails just to be back where I started. It's no wonder Amazon is doing so well and why TOM has so many seriously bad reviews.
After all they don't have very many products for sale at any one time surely it would not be cost prohibitive to hire a few people to check sizes and website descriptions?

Touch of Modern Touch of Modern Review: Poor Customer Service and Business Practices

I recently made a purchase on Touch of Modern and spent over $200 on some jewelry. The website stated that it would take 1-2 weeks for delivery, which seemed reasonable to me. However, I had a question about the tax they charged and sent a message to their customer service team on the second day after placing my order. Unfortunately, I didn't receive a response from them even after 12 days had passed. I sent a couple more messages on the 12th and 13th days, but still no answer.

Feeling frustrated and concerned about my order, I decided to call my credit card company to see if they could help. They immediately did a chargeback, which seemed to wake up Touch of Modern's customer service team. It's disappointing that they didn't keep me informed or respond to my messages until they were forced to by the chargeback.

After less than 48 hours, my order was cancelled, but I still didn't receive an apology or explanation from Touch of Modern. I decided to do some research and found that other customers had similar experiences, with some not even receiving their orders. Additionally, there were reports of Touch of Modern not paying some of their suppliers.

Touch of Modern Touch of Modern: From Great to Terrible - A Disappointing Experience

I totally agree with the previous review, Touch of Modern has really gone downhill. I used to be a regular customer and had no issues with their service, but now it's a different story. I've been waiting for my orders for months and they keep giving me excuses about delays. It's frustrating to see the same item I ordered weeks ago being sold with a faster delivery timeline. What's going on? I've tried to contact their support team but it's been a nightmare. They send me cut and paste responses and don't seem to read my emails. It's like talking to a robot instead of a human being. And when they finally respond, they cancel the wrong order because they didn't bother to read the email string. It's ridiculous. And to top it off, they don't even offer refunds, only store credit. That's not what I signed up for. I used to recommend Touch of Modern to my friends, but now I can't in good conscience do that anymore. It's a shame that they lost a loyal customer like me.

Let me share with you my recent experience with Touch of Modern (TOMO) or touchofmodern.com. I was excited to finally purchase something from this online store, and I decided to buy a Pillow Guy (PG) pillow. The product listing boasted that the pillow was a high-quality luxury item with great attention to detail. Unfortunately, my excitement waned when I received my 'luxury' product.

To start with, the teal colored cover of the pillow had holes where the zipper had come apart from the cover. Moreover, there is another hole where a white band piece is around the pillow, and to make matters worse, you could see where the stitching was just falling apart. The pillow was just a holey mess that looked nothing like the high-quality product described in the listing.

What really gets me is the price point. At $80, I expected a high-quality, luxury pillow, but what I received was a cheaply made product that even Walmart wouldn't sell. It is fraudulent for TOMO to charge such a high price for such a poorly made product and call it luxury. Tomo’s customer service team was also a disappointment as they were completely unhelpful.

Moreover, I was appalled to find out that this online store refused to accept any returns, even for poorly made products such as the PG pillow. They do not offer refunds nor exchanges, which to me seems like the height of unethical business practice. It seems that TOMO knows they are stealing people's money by selling low-quality products at high prices.

In conclusion, Touch of Modern (TOMO) should be ashamed of their unethical business practices. They sell low-quality products at unreasonably high prices and have an unhelpful customer service team. Victims are left without any recourse as they do not offer refunds nor exchanges. Honestly, if you are looking for high-quality products, there are far better options out there, and I would highly recommend that you stay away from TOMO.

Touch of Modern Review: Disappointing Backlit Canvas from Touch of Modern - Low Quality Construction And Short Lifespan

After purchasing a backlit canvas from Touch of Modern, I eagerly awaited its arrival. However, it took two weeks to get here, which was a bit disappointing. When I finally received the product and unboxed it, I noticed that the packaging seemed better quality than the canvas itself. Despite my initial reservations, I decided to go ahead and try out the product.

Unfortunately, my experience with the canvas was far from positive. I had to go out and buy a 9V battery to put into it, but discovered that the battery connection was hot glued to the inside of the wooden frame - a surprisingly low quality construction method. I hung up the canvas using the oversized nails that came with it and was initially pleased to see it light up. However, when I returned home 24 hours later, the canvas was no longer illuminated. I asked my wife if she had turned it off, but she had not.

Frustrated, I went out and bought another 9V battery, but the canvas still wouldn't turn on. At this point, I was feeling more than a little angry - I even smashed the product in half and swore revenge on the company by writing negative reviews. However, after reflecting on my actions, I realized that my frustration wasn't entirely unfounded. In the past, even cheap products would last at least a month or two, whereas this product stopped working after just 24 hours.

While I'm still unhappy with my experience, I try to remind myself that not all companies are created equal. Touch of Modern may not have lived up to my expectations, but I'll keep searching for quality products and retailers that I can trust.

I recently purchased a men's shirt from Touch of Modern as a gift, however, I was disappointed to find that it arrived without a packing slip. To my dismay, the shirt was also too small and not well-made. The process of attempting to return the item has been nothing short of a nightmare.

In an effort to return the garment, I reached out to their customer service team via email with my order number and inquiry on how to return it without the packing slip. To my surprise, I immediately received a response asking for my order number. After providing it once again, I was then contacted later by another agent who asked me why I wanted to return it.

I replied with my reason, explaining that the item did not fit as expected. Unfortunately, I have yet to hear back from them on how to proceed with the return. I was extremely dissatisfied with the lack of customer service and quality control at Touch of Modern.

Touch of Modern Not Worth the Risk: Disappointing Products & Returns Policy from Touch of Modern

As a consumer who has utilized the services of Touch of Modern twice, I must say that it will be the last time I use their platform. In my experience, their products have not lived up to my expectations and their policies regarding returns are perplexing. I discovered that I could not return any item, which is concerning considering the quality of the products I received.

Moreover, once I placed an order, I had to wait for weeks to receive the product. Upon receiving the item, I discovered that the golf club I had ordered was supposed to be right-handed, but to my dismay, I received a left-handed golf club. I made numerous attempts to contact Touch of Modern through email, but I did not receive any response.

Fortunately, a stroke of luck was on my side when I got in touch with the company responsible for producing the golf club. They confirmed that the mishap had occurred with Touch of Modern before and agreed to replace the incorrect golf club. However, I was required to cover the shipping cost of returning the erroneous club.

If you are looking for quality products backed up by a trustworthy company, I would suggest not using Touch of Modern. My recommendation would be to use Amazon instead of this deceitful company that doesn't take customer satisfaction seriously.

Touch of Modern Disappointing Experience with Touch of Modern: Lack of Customer Support and Communication

My experience with Touch of Modern (TOM) was less than satisfactory. I was excited to purchase a Paul Picot watch from their website, complete with a 1-year aftermarket warranty that was claimed to be backed by TOM. However, upon receiving the watch, which was labeled as "unworn" but had been used as a store display, I noticed that the diamond on the 2 position was loose after just a week of wearing it.

Promptly, I reached out to TOM's customer service and was given an RMA and FedEx return code for the watch. While they received it back, I never received any updates regarding the status of the repair. Despite numerous email inquiries, they failed to provide any information.

After waiting for several weeks with no response, I had no choice but to put in a claim through my credit card company for a full refund. It was incredibly frustrating as I had hoped for a resolution with TOM directly, but their complete lack of responsiveness made it impossible.

Eventually, after a few more weeks, my credit card company awarded me with a full refund as TOM continued to ignore their inquiry. It was only after this that TOM finally reached out to me, offering a full refund and asking me to reverse my claim. I found it insulting that they believed I would fall for such a ploy after they had already failed to provide any customer support or resolution previously.

While the product may have been desirable, the complete lack of communication and support from TOM made me hesitant to ever make another purchase from them. I hope others have a better experience, but given mine, I would not recommend TOM to anyone.

Touch of Modern Disappointing Experience with Touchofmodern.com: Broken Watch, Poor Customer Service

I recently purchased a watch from Touchofmodern.com and was quite pleased with the whole process until the battery on the watch died. I took it to my jeweler to have the battery changed but they were unable to do so. Having no other option, I contacted the company for assistance and was quite pleased when they quickly provided me with a return authorization for the watch.

However, my experience started to take a turn for the worse when I did not hear anything from the company after many weeks of sending my watch back. I tried reaching them through emails and phone calls, but no response was forthcoming. After some persistence, I was finally able to reach out to them but was quite disappointed when they sent the watch back in the same non-working condition that I had returned it to them.

To add to my frustration, repeated attempts to reach them for a resolution proved unsuccessful, and ultimately, I was left with a watch that was pretty much unfixable. It's very sad because I had been eyeing several items on their website, and although some were out of my price range, I was hoping to purchase those that I could afford.

However, the whole experience has left a sour taste in my mouth, and given my experience, I would advise anyone to think carefully before making a purchase from this company.

Touch of Modern Disappointed with Touch of Modern's delivery and customer service experience

So, I went online to check out Touch of Modern's newest collections and ended up purchasing a pair of shoes early in January. Like many of us, I was eagerly anticipating the arrival of my purchase, looking forward to wearing my new kicks. Unfortunately, it's been a couple of weeks and I still haven't received my order.

I contacted the customer service line and was informed that there was a labeling issue that caused a delay in the delivery process. I was pretty disappointed to hear this news but tried to remain patient and wait for updates. It's been over a week now and there's still no proof of my package being sent out. The tracking number I received doesn't indicate any updates, apart from mentioning that the package was delivered on February 2nd.

The team at Touch of Modern has assured me that once the package is handed over to Canada Post, the tracking information will be updated. However, I'm not quite sure what to expect at this point. To add insult to injury, Touch of Modern had the audacity to offer me a mere $15 discount for the total $30 delivery cost. To be honest, I'm not too thrilled about the offer considering the cost of the shoes and the overall level of frustration I'm experiencing.

At this stage, I’m not sure if I even care if the package arrives or not. I’m disappointed with the experience I’ve had so far with Touch of Modern and don't trust them enough to make another purchase anytime soon. In fact, I’ve already deleted the app. It’s a shame, really. I was looking forward to a better shopping experience, but unfortunately, it turned out to be quite the opposite.

Touch of Modern Touch of Modern: My Experience with Their Unique Business Model

When I stumbled upon Touch of Modern's website, I was excited to find a flash offer on a few watches that I've had my eye on. Without doing further research on the company, I proceeded with my purchase. However, I soon realized that this company operates differently than others I've dealt with in the past. They don't have any physical inventory in stock, so they take your money and provide a shipping date that could be weeks out. I became skeptical of whether the watches they were selling were authentic, and I worried even further when I tried to cancel my order before it shipped, but didn't receive a response.

After doing some research, I found that other watch sites offer the option to cancel orders before the item ships and don't charge your credit card until the order has shipped. I regret not doing my research sooner before making my purchase.

Thankfully, Touch of Modern's customer service team is responsive via email. After reaching out to them about canceling my order, I received a response from a supervisor who promptly refunded my money. However, I couldn't help but feel hesitant about dealing with a company that operates in such a way. In my opinion, a company should stand behind its products and have a clear return policy, as well as transparent information on their website about their business practices.

Overall, while I appreciate the prompt response from their customer service team, I personally will be hesitant to make another purchase from Touch of Modern.

non communitive. Unable to resolve my issue. Not an honorable company . Upon drilling down deeper i find out that although they took my money for a bottle of Blanton's, they are unable to deliver to my state of TX. Had I known that, I would not have ordered the item.

now, no one will call or respond.

Shipping has always been the problem here. there is always a high probability that you will not get the product you ordered and will not get a refund. Customer service is limited at best. Stay far away unless you want to take the risk.
