This company is a SCAM
This company is a SCAM and they hide the comments that point out their scamming scheme! DONT use their services - they will charge you 199$ without your consent and even if you opt out from their additional services. They will also tell you that they sent you a reminder email about your subscription which they don't. Last but not least - you can only reach time by phone sometimes - and when they finally call you back - they tell you didn't reach out to us soon enough to cancel the subscription you didn't even sign up for from the start. AVOID THESE PROFESSIONAL SCAMERS!
Recommendation: Don’t do business with them
Beware of Trademark Engine's Automatic Enrollment in Trademark Protection
I was in the market for a trademark for my phrase and stumbled upon Trademark Engine. The website was a bit difficult to navigate, but I eventually managed to register for review. I opted for the "Basic Package" as I didn't want any additional features, just the registration of my phrase. However, I soon found out that there was more to this package than met the eye.
Unbeknownst to me, when you sign up for the "Basic Package," you are automatically enrolled in trademark protection. I had no idea and missed the first billing of $99 for three months. When I caught the second billing, I immediately called to cancel and explained that I never signed up for it. To my surprise, I was informed that it was automatically added, and unless I canceled it within 30 days, I would be responsible for it.
I was willing to accept the first charge as my mistake, but I requested a refund for the second charge of $99. Unfortunately, they flat out refused and said that there were no refunds. I asked to speak with a supervisor, but they were all busy and promised to call me back, which never happened.
This kind of shady business practice of signing people up for things they don't want and then relying on them to cancel it within 30 days is unacceptable. It's not good for business, and it's not ethical. I am still waiting for my refund, and I hope that others will be more cautious when dealing with Trademark Engine.
Trademark Engine Review: Cheap but Costly in the Long Run
I found this website called Trademark Engine and it seemed like the cheapest option to trademark my logo. I talked to a customer service rep and they told me to just screen shot proof of my site and it should be good. But it turned out that everything was not good!
I ended up going to an actual trademark lawyer to file another logo and we had to look for my logo that was filed through trademark engine. The lawyer said that they filed the logo incorrectly with the black background and white logo. Why didn't trademark engine mention that to begin with?
Another issue was that all the screen shots that were supposed to be good to go were actually not good. Now I'm supposed to contact the lawyer reviewing my logo and send him more proof. After researching the office and lawyer, it turns out they were supposed to send me a link. I had to call them three times before they finally sent it. Now I have to read all these pages and learn how to file it properly. So I paid them so I can basically do it myself.
The last issue is that it clearly states that they are not lawyers on the phone and the website. That shows that no one is really competent to help. The lawyer I spoke to said he recommends using Legazoom or just talking to an actual lawyer. It's worth spending the money and being legit than doing all this run around and hoping it's done right.
Overall, I would not recommend using Trademark Engine. It may seem like a cheap option, but it ended up costing me more time and money in the long run. It's better to go with a more reputable and reliable option, even if it costs a bit more.
Beware of Trademarkengine.com: Unethical Business Practices and Hidden Fees
I gotta say, I'm not too impressed with trademarkengine.com. I mean, I gave them one star, but honestly, they don't even deserve that. Here's what happened: I went through their application process, which was supposed to cost $49. I declined all the extra paid options they offered me, because I'm not made of money, you know? But then, when I clicked back on the form to check something, and then clicked forward again, suddenly the fee had jumped up to $99! What the heck? So I canceled and started over, and this time it was back to $49. But that's not even the worst part.
After I completed the application, they sent me an email with my account details. But when I tried to log in, it said my email address wasn't recognized. Which is weird, because that's the exact same email address they used to send me my account details in the first place. So I emailed them about it, but they never got back to me. And then, the next day, I got two invoices from them for $350 each! And get this: they had already charged my credit card for both of them, using the same card I had used to pay the $49 application fee. And on top of all that, they had signed me up for some kind of monitoring program that costs $99 a month! I never agreed to any of that!
I want to be clear: every time they offered me a paid feature, I said no. But they charged me anyway, and now they won't even respond to my emails or refund requests. I'm starting to think I might have to take them to court to get my money back. So, yeah, I would definitely not recommend doing business with trademarkengine.com.
Captivating and Heartfelt: A Review of The Fault in Our Stars
Don't use this service. It's just another automated system designed to take money out of your account. After my initial order I had 3 payments of $175 taken out of my bank account for "Quarterly Trademark monitoring" which I had no idea about. I only found out when I got an "Upcoming Payment" alert email 10 months later which I immediately cancelled then discovered two previous $175 amounts had been withdrawn without my knowledge as I never received any email alerts or payment receipts. I was able to get the 3rd payment refunded but they wouldn't refund the other two as it was "past their 60 day refund policy". On the phone I was told I would have received a "Free trial ending" email regarding their "trademark monitoring service" which i also never got, so you'll probably unknowingly end up on this free trial then get robbed when it's over.
Additionally once your application is in, if you don't know anything about trademark law it'll likely get rejected then you'll be told by the actual Trademark office you should hire a trademark lawyer to appeal, and you will need to as it's quite complicated.
So in short you are better off to just go straight to an actual Trademark lawyer who can handle everything for you and I assume could flag any potential issues before you submit your Trademark application. Trademark Engine do not do anything for you after they have taken your money.
Terrible Experience with Trademark Engine LLC - Don't Waste Your Time and Money!
I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with Trademark Engine LLC (trademarkengine.com). I was trying to file my trademark with USPTO back in September 2017 and I thought I could trust these guys to help me out. I paid all the fees upfront and gave them everything they asked for, but then we got an office action from USPTO saying that there was something wrong with the company entity type and they didn't accept the specimens. I was pretty confused and frustrated, so I reached out to Trademark Engine to ask them what was going on. They told me they could fix it, but it would cost me an extra $99 for an office action response. I wasn't too happy about that, but I eventually agreed to pay it in January 2018. I gave them all the information they needed and they said they would call me when it was ready to file the response. But then...nothing. I tried calling them multiple times, but they never answered. Finally, in April 2018, I contacted them through the chat window and asked about my application. They told me I had to pay another $99 if I wanted to proceed. I was like, "What?! I already paid!" But they insisted that I had to pay more. I was so frustrated and angry that I just told them I was done doing business with them. I mean, seriously, this company is just trying to rob people.
And that's not even the worst part. I also paid for their Privacy Protection service, which was supposed to keep my personal details safe. But after I got the office action notice, I started getting tons of emails from all over the country. They totally failed to protect my information, and I was paying them $5 every month for the past 8 months! What a waste of time and money.
If you're thinking about using Trademark Engine, please don't. Save yourself the trouble and find a better company to work with. I paid them a total of $838 and my trademark still isn't approved. I'm going to have to find a good lawyer to help me out now. Ugh.
Trademark Engine Review: Hidden Fees and Unclear Instructions - Almost a Scam
This company, Trademark Engine, is not the best option for filing a trademark application. Their instructions are unclear and they have hidden fees that are not mentioned in the application process. It is surprising that they are considered one of the best trademark application websites because they are very close to being a scam. I feel cheated and wish I had hired a lawyer or not filed at all.
I filed my trademark in January and was shocked to find out that there were additional government fees that were not mentioned in the application. The reason people use their site is because they do not know how to file themselves, so why is there no transparency? It is frustrating to be hit with unexpected fees.
During the application process, there was an option to get a privacy plan. This is where things got really frustrating. I selected the plan that I thought would hide my home address, but it turns out that it only covered my email and phone number. My home address is now displayed for the world to see. As an anonymous YouTuber, this is not what I wanted. When I contacted Trademark Engine, they informed me that my plan only covered my email and phone number. I decided to switch to the other plan, but I was charged twice and no changes were made. I was scammed out of $80 until I pointed out that nothing had changed. I was then informed that I had to file a separate form for any changes to be made, which cost an additional $49. The email and chat system are terrible, so the only way to get anything done is by calling.
In the actual application form on the USPTO site, there is a place to put a domicile address and a mailing address. The mailing address is the one that is displayed if done correctly. However, Trademark Engine never had this option. They do not allow PO Boxes as domicile addresses anymore, but you can still put a PO Box as your mailing address. This is a scam to get more money out of people who are not aware of the rules.
I am furious and disappointed in myself for falling for this trap. I would not recommend Trademark Engine to anyone looking to file a trademark application.
Mixed feelings on Trademark Engine - easy process, but upselling and hidden fees were frustrating
Well, to be honest, I was pretty peeved with my experience on Trademark Engine (trademarkengine.com). It was a little overwhelming with all the services they tried to sell me after I entered my credit card information. I hate having to pay for something and then finding out that I have to pay even more for "extra" services that should have been explained in advance. To top it off, they even asked for an extra $99 just in case my application got rejected and I needed to do more filings! Why didn't they mention that earlier? It's a bit of a bummer, especially with their "highly recommended" services being way overpriced.
Frankly, I was hoping to save a few bucks by using their service, but now, I'm not sure if it was worth it. I was really looking forward to having them handle everything, but finding out that there's a 60% chance that I'll need to do more filing on my own, after paying for their service, is really disheartening. Why didn't they mention that before taking my credit card number?
Still, I have to admit that their process was pretty easy to understand and filling out the forms wasn't too bad. But knowing that I might still have more forms to deal with, after paying for their service, makes me wonder what the point was in using it in the first place. I think next time, I'll just skip their service and file directly on the government site.
Unsatisfactory Experience with Trademark Engine: A Warning to Potential Customers
I recently had a not-so-pleasant experience with Trademark Engine (trademarkengine.com). I received an email informing me that I needed to provide further information for my order to be processed. Following the email's advice, I gave them a call to get things sorted. However, I soon realized that what was advertised and what I had paid for wasn't exactly what I thought it was.
As my order was on hold, I thought it would be best to request a refund for my original order. A representative assured me she would handle it for me. However, I was in for a rude awakening as I found out later in the day that an unauthorized additional charge of $275 was added to my account.
I reached out to their customer support team the following day, only to be told that the charge had already been authorized before I made my call. Needless to say, I was quite disappointed with this experience.
It's really disappointing when vendors don't exercise transparency or inform their clients adequately. It wasn't fair that I was told that my order was on hold, only for them to charge me anyway without any previous notification.
In conclusion, I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone, especially not to my friends or family members. It was a horrible experience, and far from being transparent.
Beware of Hidden Fees and Unhelpful Support: My Experience with Trademark Engine
I recently signed up for the super cheap $69 trademark package on Trademark Engine's website and boy, did I regret it almost immediately. I entered my credit card information and before I even had a chance to click the button to confirm, I had already been charged! I was so confused and frustrated, so I reached out to their support team hoping they could help me cancel the charge. But alas, they told me they couldn't cancel orders and I was stuck with it.
What's even worse is that today, I got hit with a barrage of emails from Trademark Engine and my bank. The first email from Trademark Engine said I needed to pay an additional fee of $350 to move forward with my trademark application. Then, I got an email from my bank alerting me of fraudulent charges done in the amount of $350 to my debit card, so they cancelled it. Lastly, I received another email from Trademark Engine saying that my payment for $350 had been declined.
I was pretty upset at this point because I never agreed to pay an extra $350 and I didn't understand why they were being so sneaky about it. They told me that I repeatedly agreed to this charge, but I had no recollection of doing so. Upon further investigation, I realized that I had received an email with white text on a white background that informed me of these charges. How was I supposed to read that?! It was totally shady on their part.
I would not recommend Trademark Engine to anyone. Their process was confusing, their customer service wasn't helpful, and the additional charges just left a bad taste in my mouth. Stay away from this company if you want a smooth and honest trademark application process.
Cautionary Review: My Frustrating Experience with Trademark Engine for Trademark Services (trademarkengine.com)
My experience with Trademark Engine (trademarkengine.com) was extremely frustrating, to say the least. I had high hopes for their services when I signed up to handle my trademark process, but it turned out to be a complete disaster.
I was surprised when I found out that my trademark application was listed as dead within the USPTO's system, despite being active in Trademark Engine's system. I tried to understand the reason but all they could offer was excuses. They claimed that they had sent multiple documents to me, but I never received any of them. They said the emails were auto-forwarded, but when I checked, there was nothing in my inbox - not even in my junk folder. They couldn't even provide any proof that the emails were sent. This made me think that their service is highly unreliable.
When I reached out to Trademark Engine's customer service, I was told that my trademark had been denied. However, I knew that this was a blatant lie because I had received the first document from USPTO in March 2019, which clearly outlined what I needed to do to finalize the process and get my trademark. I felt like they were not even trying to help me, but rather trying to make excuses and avoid accountability for their mistakes.
When I asked for a refund, they refused and sounded completely unapologetic. It was clear to me that they had no intention of taking responsibility for their part in the process and helping me out. After all the work and money that I had invested in this process, I felt completely let down.
Overall, I would advise anyone considering Trademark Engine to be cautious and do your research before buying their service. Despite their promises, they might not be the reliable partner you need to help you secure your trademark - far from it.
Unsatisfactory Experience with Trademark Engine - Would Not Recommend Their Services
So, recently I got an email from the United States Patent and Trademark Office stating that my trademark application was filled out incorrectly. I was quite surprised by this because I had hired Trademark Engine, a company that specializes in trademarking. I immediately contacted their customer service team to get help with the issue. However, what they told me left me shocked! I was informed that I would need to pay additional fees to have them correct the problem that they had created in the first place.
According to the representative I spoke with, my trademark application would have to be refused, or there would have to be an issue with the logo or wording for me to be required to pay more money. I thought to myself, this is clearly their mistake, and I don't understand why I should be the one to pay for their incompetence. All I wanted was for them to provide me with a fast and efficient trademark application process.
It seems like they either intentionally made a mistake to extract more money from me, or the person who submitted the application did not have enough experience to carry out the job accurately. For either of these reasons, I would say that Trademark Engine did not live up to my expectations and did not place enough emphasis on customer satisfaction. I was hoping that by hiring a company to take care of my trademark needs, I could save time and reduce my costs, but in this instance, I ended up spending more money.
Therefore, I regret to say that I would give them one star for their services. Their lack of customer focus and their errors left me wishing that I had just hired an attorney to handle the trademark process for me. Overall, my experience with Trademark Engine was not satisfactory, and I would not recommend them to anyone seeking to get their trademark registered.
Trademark Engine: Holding My Money Hostage and Refusing Refunds – A Shady Business Strategy
I used to be happy with Trademark Engine until they put my files on hold. I had been a loyal customer for a long time and had successful orders in the past. But now, I'm heartbroken. Not only did they hold my money, but they also declined my request for a refund. How could they do this to me? It feels like they don't care about me as a customer.
Jay, the supervisor, told me nothing had been done on the file yet. So why are they holding my money? It's like they're punishing me for something I didn't do. Do they have people working for them who don't actually work but get paid for it anyway? This seems like a shady business strategy to me – they're keeping their customers as hostages and keeping the money by force.
If a company offers excellent service, they shouldn't be afraid to give refunds. It's part of their job. Customers should have the right to ask for a refund if they don't want an undone service, or if the company can't deliver what they promised. The company should refund transactions they can't complete, not just sit on the money.
What's even worse is that they have you sign an electronic agreement that allows them to hold funds that they didn't work for. I call this "blood money." It's not fair to the customers, and it's not ethical.
If Trademark Engine really cared about their customers, they would send an email to warn them about not getting a refund before time elapses. They should put the customers first instead of just waiting for them to respond to the refund.
In conclusion, Trademark Engine needs to do better. They need to put their customers first and stop holding funds hostage. As a customer, I expect more from them.
Avoid Trademark Engine: Horrible Customer Service & Charging for Errors
This company, Trademark Engine, has left me with a less than impressive experience! Let me tell you, their customer service is absolutely atrocious. They claim to provide a service that checks and reviews your trademark prior to submission, but they couldn't appear to care less about the quality of their services. My trademark came back with a simple error, and when I requested to have it fixed, they had the gall to refuse, insisting on charging me extra fees that totaled over $100. When I reached out to the head of their customer service department, he had the nerve to compare them to Turbo Tax, but made it clear that they had no interest in providing customer support beyond filing your trademark. That's right, clean hands all around.
You might have better luck filing your trademark by yourself than trusting Trademark Engine. The head of their customer service department refused to provide me with corporate information or assistance, instead dismissively claiming no such thing existed since they're a small company. Despite me pointing out the glaring issue at hand, he was much more interested in arguing than truly helping me. When I asked for his name and contact information, he accused me of not wanting to hear his solution and dismissed me with a frustrating and unhelpful attitude.
It's absolutely mind-boggling how they charge you to file your trademark, but then refuse to offer any kind of assistance or quality assurance that it is done correctly. They might not be legal experts, but fixing a filing error should be the least of their responsibilities since they are the ones filing! Save yourself the headache and avoid using Trademark Engine for any of your trademark needs.
Trademark Engine Review: Save Your Money and File it Yourself
I recently had the opportunity to use Trademark Engine to trademark my business name, and let me tell you, it was a huge mistake. I thought I was saving time and effort by using their services, but I quickly realized that all they did was copy and paste the exact fields required on the USPTO website. I mean, you can go and check both sites, and you'll see that they're identical. Basically, all I paid $99 for was for them to do what I could have done for free.
Furthermore, their claims of researching if the trademark was taken were exaggerated. It literally takes five seconds to enter the trademark term on the USPTO search box and see if it's available. They make it seem like they're doing some big research process, but it's really just a simple step.
To add insult to injury, they overcharged me by $50. Not only did they charge their fee, but they also charged me $275 to file with the USPTO when the actual cost was only $225. It wasn't until I received the email confirmation from the USPTO that I realized what had happened. I tried contacting Trademark Engine to resolve the issue, but they refused to respond to my emails or calls.
I'm currently disputing the charge with my credit card company, and they've assured me that I'll be receiving a refund soon. My advice to anyone looking to trademark their business name is to stay away from Trademark Engine. Save yourself the trouble and file it yourself. Don't give these scam artists any of your hard-earned money.
Trademark Engine Review: Amateur Hour Mess of a Service. Don't Waste Your Time
I gotta say, I'm pretty ticked off. I mean, I thought I was being smart by using Trademark Engine to take care of my copyright needs, but instead I got a mess of a situation that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. Like, seriously, how hard is it to submit photos to the copyright office? Apparently, too hard for this company.
So, I sent in a bunch of photos to be copyrighted, and what do you know, only one of them gets processed. Like, what kind of amateur hour is this? So, I try to get it fixed and they say they'll take care of it. But, of course, they don't. It takes them over a month to do nothing. And now, the copyright office is saying there's another mistake that needs to be fixed before anything else can happen. It's like one step forward, two steps back.
The best part? I actually used this service because I didn't know anything about copyright applications and I wanted to make sure it was done right. Ha! What a joke. I'm pretty sure I could've done a better job myself. And now, it's like they don't even care about fixing their mistakes. I mean, who knows how long this is going to take.
So, if you're thinking about using Trademark Engine, let me save you some trouble: don't. Don't do it. Find another service that actually knows what they're doing. Because, trust me, you don't want to end up in the same boat as me.
Trademark Engine Review: Valuable Services Hindered by Dark Patterns and Poor UX
I've been trying to get my consulting business off the ground, but with little funds to spare, it's crucial that I protect our name and branding. So, I decided to give Trademark Engine a try. While I can't deny that their services appear to be top-notch, with glowing five-star reviews everywhere, I'm less than impressed with the Dark Patterns I experienced on their website (https://www.darkpatterns.org/types-of-dark-pattern/sneak-into-basket). Sure, it might not be a full-on "sneak into basket" tactic, but it's similar in that I didn't see any mention of additional federal charges that would be tacked on later.
Reviewing my purchase, I had expected to pay a total of $69.00 (for the Trademark Reg), $59.00 (for the Certified Copy add-on), and $99 (for the Statement of Use add-on). But, three days later, I was hit with three charges of $350 (with explanations in the billing records) along with an extra $59 charge (with no explanation) and another $69 charge (also with no explanation). When I contacted their customer service, they pointed out a note that stated the government would charge an additional $350 per item. I admit that I may have missed this fine print, but I didn't see it displayed prominently either.
The fact is, not all of us are slowpokes to catch onto these details, and when I started receiving messages from my credit card company about declined purchases for $350, it understandably raised my ire. Most of us just don't have the time or patience to slog through a website trying to buy something, so it's important for all charges to be clear and visible upfront, even if they aren't getting charged immediately.
My other gripe concerns the add-ons. Once you select an option, there seems to be no way to "go back" or "undo" the selection; you just have to muscle through until you get to the cart. This move seems like a Dark Pattern to me, designed to take advantage of those who might accidentally select an option and can now do nothing about it until the checkout process. Or perhaps there is a way to undo it, but it's buried deep within the website, which points to poor design.
Overall, I believe that Trademark Engine offers valuable services, but their UX designs and content could do with some updating. When they fix these issues, I will not hesitate to use their services again. Until then, I must stick to my low rating of 1/5, because bad UX design can spoil even the best of products. That being said, kudos to their customer service, which deserves a 5/5 rating.

Mixed Feelings About Trademark Engine: Hidden Fees and Poor Customer Service
I recently used Trademark Engine to file a trademark application and I have mixed feelings about my experience. On one hand, they advertise their portion as $69, which seems like a great deal. However, when I went to check out, the price suddenly jumped up to $99. This was very misleading and left a bad taste in my mouth.
It's important to note that the actual filing fee is $250-$350 extra, which is paid directly to the government. So, the $69-$99 fee is just for their processing and convenience. While I appreciate the convenience factor, I wish they were more upfront about the total cost from the beginning.
Another issue I had was with their customer service. It seems like this is just a side hustle for them and not a primary established physical location. I tried to reach out via chat and email, but no one ever responded. This was frustrating and made me feel like they didn't care about my business.
One thing to watch out for is their trademark monitoring service. They sneak it into the terms of service, so if you don't cancel it after the trial period, you'll end up paying $175 a quarter. This is a pretty steep price for something that you may not even need. So, make sure to cancel it if you don't want to be charged.
Overall, I have to say that this company is a bit shady and inconsistent. However, if you stay on top of them and make sure to cancel any unnecessary services, they will eventually file your trademark application. It's just important to be aware of the hidden fees and lack of customer service.
Mixed experience with Trademark Engine: Smooth application process, but poor customer service
At Trademark Engine, I had a generally pleasant experience filing my trademark application. The process was smooth and uncomplicated, which was great, but if you need to speak to someone, good luck. I attempted to get some answers to my questions while in the midst of the application process, but unfortunately, their chat is powered by bots and the live people who work there were unable to provide any relevant information to assist me.
I did leave several voicemails in hopes of getting a call-back, but alas, that never occurred. After withstanding a waiting time of 20 minutes while on hold (with a countdown of 9-8-7 people before me), I was finally greeted by a pre-recorded message informing me that no one was available, and was then requested to leave a message. Needless to say, no one ever returned my call.
Moreover, their hold music was beyond irritating, and with the sound so high, it was difficult to catch when someone would pick up the call. Trust me; it was incredibly frustrating, so it's best to keep the volume on lower if you don't want to deal with such a nuisance.
In sum, the price may be attractive, but if you want quality customer service that is respectful and delivers, my suggestion would be to invest a few extra dollars.

Unsatisfactory Experience with Trademark Engine: A Warning to Potential Customers

Beware of Trademark Engine: Hidden Charges and Fraudulent Behavior
I've been in the professional world for more than 20 years and I value honesty and transparency. Unfortunately, I didn't find that with Trademark Engine. They advertised their service for $49, but failed to mention additional charges. I signed up and paid the $49 fee, but the next day I saw a charge of $350 on my card. I assumed it was from the state department, but I couldn't be sure because Trademark Engine didn't provide any transparency.
I decided to look up reviews online and found thousands of fake "good reviews." This made me suspicious, so I called customer service right away to cancel my subscription. I told them I wanted to cancel and they did so without any hesitation. However, I received an email saying that my subscription to Quarterly Trademark Infringement Monitoring was canceled. The problem is that I never signed up for this service in the first place. This is fraudulent behavior and I want nothing to do with this company ever again.
I asked for a full refund and told the customer service representative that I would never recommend this company to anyone. It's clear that they are stealing from their customers and I urge everyone to stay away from them. Don't make the same mistake I did.
Beware of Trademark Engine: Lack of Communication and Failure to Deliver Promised Services
I decided to give Trademark Engine a try on January 1st to file a basic brand registration. Their website clearly stated that it would only take 5 days to complete the process. However, after 3 weeks had passed, I still had not received any emails regarding the status or progress of my application. I decided to reach out to their representative through their chat feature, and he assured me that my application would be processed in just a few hours. Unfortunately, I still did not receive any updates after 3 more days had passed.
I was frustrated with the lack of communication and decided to call their customer service line. The representative I spoke with could not commit to a specific date for when my application would be processed, even though it had already been delayed for 3 weeks. She mentioned that there was a huge backlog of applications, but that was not my problem. I felt that they could have done more to address the issue, such as stopping the intake of more applications than they could handle, hiring more staff, or incentivizing their current staff to work longer hours. Heck, they could even hire me to coach them!
It was disappointing to see that they were quick to take my money but failed to provide the service as advertised on their website. Blaming the customer application surge as the reason for their ineptitude seemed not only awful but fraudulent. I wasted 3 weeks waiting for my application to be processed, and in the end, I had to request a refund.
I felt compelled to write this review to warn others to stay away from this company. Their lack of communication and failure to deliver on their promises is unacceptable. I hope that they take the necessary steps to improve their services and prevent other customers from experiencing the same frustration that I did.
Unethical and Frustrating Experience with Trademark Engine: Don't Fall for Their $49 Deal
I gotta say that my experience with Trademark Engine wasn't great at all. As soon as I signed up for the special $49 deal, they started adding all sorts of extra charges without giving me a total, and before I knew it, my bank account was out of control. In fact, I got alerts for six different transactions that totaled to $1,125! That's downright ridiculous and an extremely unethical way to take advantage of customers.
Sadly, when I tried to reach out to their customer service team, it was nearly impossible to talk to a real person. I tried calling several times, but either the line was busy or I was put on hold for an incredibly long wait, only to be greeted by an automated answering machine. To make things worse, even after leaving my name, callback number and the reason for my call, I still haven't heard back from them after three full days!
I really wouldn't recommend using Trademark Engine, especially if you value your money and time. Their service is just one big sham, and I don't think anyone should have to go through the frustration and headache that I experienced. So, save yourself a lot of trouble and stay away from this company.
Beware of Trademark Engine: Misinformation, Overcharging and Potential Rejection
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Trademark Engine. The customer service representative informed me that if I went directly through the government, I would have saved a significant amount of money. I became frightened that this website was a scam and cancelled my credit card. Despite cancelling my card, Trademark Engine attempted to charge me $275, which was unsuccessful. Now, I am in a difficult situation with $275 due after already paying $326 to them. To make matters worse, I was informed that after paying the $275, I may still face rejection from the government. This news is frustrating and confusing. Additionally, I was told I need to pay an additional $100 in 6-8 months. I feel misinformed and taken advantage of. I implore others to conduct research prior to utilizing this service.
Stay Away: Horrible Customer Service & Glitchy Website Caused Major Headache
Let me tell you folks, this company is a hot mess! When I went to their website, it looked like it was stuck in the 90s with all those glitches. So, I decided to give them a call to use a discount code and boy, was that a mistake! I received no value and should have gone with Legal Zoom. As if that wasn't bad enough, they had the wrong address on file. It's their job to get the addresses right, right? Nope, not for them. Now, I have to take more money out of my pocket to fix their mistake! I just hope they can get their paperwork in order so that I don't lose my business over their negligence. Trust me, save yourself the headache and avoid these guys like the plague. Not only can't they fix their website, but their processes are practically manual. Oh, and when I asked to speak to the manager, he didn't even have the decency to come on the phone and talk to me. Talk about terrible customer service!
Unreliable Service & Negligence: My Disappointing Experience with Trademark Engine
I recently used Trade Mark Engine (trademarkengine.com) to file my trademark and unfortunately, it didn't go as planned. There were a lot of issues that caused problems, including a high turnover rate of employees at the company. Due to this, there were misunderstandings about what I wanted to trademark and my logo art which included my business name was not included as part of the filing process, something I had clearly requested.
As a result of their mistakes, I was left out of pocket by over $300.00, which was a lot of money for me to lose. I was really disappointed with the level of service I received from TME, which was supposed to be that of specialists in their field. They couldn't even get a basic filing right so I lost confidence in their abilities and felt completely let down.
What made matters worse was that I was not offered a resolution or compensation for the issues caused by TME's negligence. To add to my frustration, there were too many employees playing "office" and it was hard to even find one reliable person to speak to.
Overall, I'm completely unhappy with my experience with Trademark Engine and would not recommend them to anyone. If you're considering using this company, I urge you to think twice and take your business elsewhere to avoid being let down like I was. Save yourself a headache and go with a more reputable agency instead. You'll thank yourself in the long run.
Trademark Engine Review: Incompetent Processing and Lack of Customer Service - Think Twice Before Using!
I recently used Trademark Engine (trademarkengine.com) to submit my logo for trademark protection and unfortunately it was not a smooth process. When I read another review with a similar experience to mine, I knew I had to share my story.
I made sure to submit my logo within the given timeframe but was surprised to receive an estimated processing time of 2-3 months after it was sent to the USPTO. After waiting for a month without any updates, I decided to reach out to them myself to check on the status of my order. Imagine my surprise when I was told that it had never even been processed! The timeline for processing was now pushed back to an additional 8-9 months. This level of incompetence and lack of attention is highly disappointing.
As a business owner myself, I understand the importance of professionalism and taking responsibility for your mistakes. It's unacceptable to disregard the customer and fail to adhere to the initial timeline given. If they can't handle this simple aspect, how can they manage more complex tasks?
I urge anyone considering using Trademark Engine to think twice and do their research before committing. It's clear that they need to improve their customer service and overall operation. Personally, I would rather pay more to work with a company that is reliable and has a proven track record of success.
Deceptive Advertisements: My Experience with Trademark Engine's $69 Filing Fee
Trademark Engine (trademarkengine.com) left me feeling unimpressed with their advertised $69 fee for filing a trademark. The website claims to offer a streamlined process, but after paying the initial fee, I was bombarded with 5 to 6 additional screens requesting even more money. I was informed that I needed to file an additional recommended filing to keep my trademark active or shoulder the burden of extension filings after 6 months. I was also charged an additional $59 for an official copy of the initial trademark.
What annoyed me the most was the barrage of additional charges that kept popping up during the process. I had no idea that I would be paying $99 here, $1999 there, and $99 more for additional services. To put it mildly, the ad for the intro filing was deceptive. I started losing confidence in the website throughout the process and my trust was eroding.
It is fortunate that this is not a fraudulent website, but I will still contact my Credit Card company immediately. I ended up spending much more than I had initially intended because of all of the extra fees. If you are looking to register a trademark on Trademark Engine, be prepared to pay more than the advertised $69.
Unfair Hidden Fees: My Experience with Trademark Engine (trademarkengine.com)
There's something that really bugs me about Trademark Engine (trademarkengine.com). I thought that the initial fee I saw was all I would have to pay to get my trademark application to the USPTO, but it turns out that there were a bunch of hidden fees that weren't disclosed. I'm not a lawyer, so I don't know all the technical details, but it seems like the $69 fee is only for completing a partial application, not for actually submitting it to the USPTO.
When I found out that I had to pay an additional $250 to have my application actually submitted, I was pretty upset. And then when I tried to go back and remove my credit card information from the site, it was too late - my card had already been charged.
I honestly feel like I was taken advantage of. I don't trust Trademark Engine anymore, so I'm going to try to complete the rest of the process on my own. I'm also not sure if any of the information I entered into the software application can even be used now that I've decided not to go through with it.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend using Trademark Engine. I wish I had known about all the hidden fees before I started the process - it would have saved me a lot of time and frustration.
TrademarkEngine.com Review: Misleading Pricing, Hidden Fees, and Dishonest Practices
So I went to trademarkengine.com to register my business's trademark and it seemed like a good deal, the offer page stated it was only a $49 service fee plus USPTO fees. I knew that the USPTO fee was $250, so I thought I was getting a deal. However, after I submitted my application, I was charged $350, $100 more than the actual fee. I was upset and called to ask about it, and the representative told me that they keep the extra $100 for themselves. I was shocked, this felt like a scam.
After reading through their offer page again, I realized that nowhere does it mention the extra $100 fee they take. This is dishonest and I feel like they are taking advantage of people who aren't familiar with the process and fees. I plan on reporting this company to the relevant authorities, and I hope others will do the same. They shouldn't be allowed to advertise their services if they are just going to scam people out of their hard-earned money.
Overall, I would not recommend using trademarkengine.com. It may seem like a good deal, but in reality, they just want to steal your money. Be careful and always read the fine print before agreeing to anything.
Beware of Hidden Costs: A Review of Trademarkengine.com's Up-Selling Tactics
This trademark website, trademarkengine.com, left me feeling pretty let down. The website advertises itself as affordable, but in reality, it up-sells its services until the very last moment, taking advantage of people who are starting businesses. This is not good practice.
I was pressured into adding more services AFTER my credit card information had already been inputted, which left me feeling cheated. It seemed as though the website was trying to hide the total cost of their services from me by presenting the additional services only after my credit card had been charged. Some of these additional services were things that I would have happily considered BEFORE I made my purchase, which was frustrating.
The worst part of the entire experience was that after selecting some of these services, my total cost was much higher than I had expected. The website presented me with a total cost and then proceeded to present me with several "Highly Recommended" services, which further drove up the cost. There was no final page to show me my COMPLETE total, which left me feeling uneasy.
Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from this website. The misleading nature of the website and the constant up-selling left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I am not sure if I will use this site again in the future.
