TI is a temp labor service. We signed a terms of service contract with them, which never mentioned that we would have to commit to offering full time hours to their guys. We called needing coverage for 12 hours of work. They said unless we could offer full time, find another service. Nice. We will do just that.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
What company would think that some other company what's to be responsible to chase down workers for them and tell them they can work for a day and then we don't need you any more. I have worked for tradesmen in the past and they are one of the few company's that showed there employees respect. Them not sending men to that job just proves that they have respect for their employees.
Yeah, I think Labor Ready or some place like that will send u someone for a day or two.
Our company looked into hiring Tradesman International to fill in on a construction job. I started with the first salesman giving me a price for service, then I called back to get employees for the job a couple of days later, then I was told that the price was higher than what I agreed on and before they sent the workers out they had a third salesman take over and the price went up a third time with a total increase of $10.00 and hour. I thought I would still try and use them to see if their service was worth it, and the workers showed up late both days and different guys both days and then told me what they were going to do and not do and what they did do they did wrong. We were working on a roof and Tradesman claimed they had guys that were fully trained to perform the work. (The employees told our foreman that the only training they had was on the job watching others work.) The in four hours the two guys put down 1 square of shingles on a 4/12 pitch roof, put a gasket around a 4" soil pipe and nailed it down directly to the roof with approximately 25 nails with no shingles under the bottom for run off. They used no starter material and cut the drip edge off even with no over hang. The hourly rate was $28 hour. NOT WORTH THE HEADACH.
If the hourly bill rate was $28.00 an hour, then you asked for unskilled General Laborers or Roofing Helpers, not the Journeyman or Master craftsmen that TI normally provides. You got what what you paid for.
We hired Tradesman International In the Everett Washington Area and the Quality of Workers where terrible. Put door hinges on upside hung door wrong, stayed on phone all day with spouse. We Spent 10, 000 dollars with them and had to watch them like a hawk and have them redo there work several times. NEVER use this Company! Deceptive in stating they have quality experienced workers. You would have better luck with Craigslist.
I'm guessing you paid for General Laborers... Tradesmen International tries to stay away from general labor work, but provides it if it is requested. If you want carpenters, ask for carpenters and be willing to pay for them.
Tradesmen rapes contractors to death, bad contracts and disrespecting workers. They fired two workers and told them they couldn't work for other companies for 6 months. How the heck are these guys supposed to pay their bills. That's illegal in America. Bad stories after bad stories with this company. Fast talking salesmen and scams.
