Taskeasy TaskEasy Lawn Care Review: Unreliable and Poor Communication Skills

These guys are really not that great. I mean, they take your reservation and act like everything is all set to go, but then when you actually lock in your reservation, that's when they start scrambling to find a contractor who may or may not even show up on the day you need them to mow your lawn. And let me tell you, their communication skills are seriously lacking. They'll send you an email on the day of your scheduled service just to let you know that no one is coming. Like, seriously? That's not cool, especially when you're dealing with grass that just keeps growing and growing.

Honestly, it's just easier for me to find my own contractor and lock in a job with them than to deal with these guys. I mean, TaskEasy seems like they're just a sub-par middleman who can't even get their act together enough to make sure that their contractors show up on time. So, if you're looking for a reliable lawn care service, I'd say stay away from TaskEasy. They're just not worth the hassle.

Taskeasy Taskeasy Review: Unscheduled Job and Poor Customer Service

So, I got this email from Taskeasy, you know the one that says "see you in 24 hours". I checked my online calendar and there was no job scheduled for that day. I thought, "Great, I don't have to worry about anything today." But boy was I wrong! Taskeasy showed up anyway and mowed my lawn. And to top it off, they charged me for it! I was so upset, I immediately emailed them to let them know that they charged me for an unscheduled job that I did not want or agree to.

Their response was not what I was hoping for. They said that they could not find the email I sent them telling them ahead of time that I did not want the job. So, since there was no prior notice of the scheduled job being canceled, it was approved. Can you believe that? They will literally plan jobs NOT on your scheduled job calendar, and if you do not TALK TO SOMEONE within the 24 hours to make SURE it was canceled, they charge you anyway, for the unneeded job that you did not want. It's like they don't care about their customers at all.

I mean, I understand that mistakes happen, but this was just ridiculous. I had to waste my time emailing them back and forth just to get my money back. It was such a hassle. I don't think I'll be using Taskeasy again. It's just not worth the headache. So, if you're thinking about using them, just be careful and make sure you double-check everything.

Taskeasy Taskeasy Review: Shady Guarantee Policy Leaves Customer with Half-Mowed Lawn

I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with Taskeasy. I live in Saint Paul, MN and I was out of town for a while, so I decided to use their service to get my lawn mowed. I paid for it and everything seemed fine, until I got back home and saw that a quarter of my yard had been missed for a whole month! The grass was so high, it was up to my knees! I was pretty upset, so I tried emailing Taskeasy to see if they could fix it, but I didn't get a response for days.

Eventually, I decided to call them and see what was going on. I was hoping that the mower could come back and finish the job, but no such luck. The supervisor I talked to told me that since I had already paid, there was nothing they could do for me. Apparently, I hadn't contacted them within 48 hours of the service, so I was out of luck. I don't know about you, but I don't think emails count as contacting someone.

The worst part is that Taskeasy has this guarantee that if you're not satisfied with the service, they'll make it right. But apparently, that guarantee only applies if you haven't paid yet or if you contact them within 48 hours. Once you've paid or the time limit has passed, you're on your own. I think that's pretty misleading, and it's not fair to customers like me who trusted them to do a good job.

Honestly, I don't blame the mower for this. I think the fault lies with Taskeasy and their shady guarantee policy. If they had bothered to contact the mower, he probably would have come back and finished the job. But instead, they left me with a half-mowed lawn and no way to fix it. I wouldn't recommend Taskeasy to anyone, and I definitely won't be using their service again.

Taskeasy Unreliable and Disappointing: My Experience with Taskeasy Lawn Care

I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with Taskeasy this year. They kept missing my lawn mowing appointments, and it seemed like they just didn't care. I mean, I've seen other people say the same thing in their reviews, so I know I'm not alone here. Every time I called to complain, they would give me some canned response about how sorry they were and how they would fix it, but then nothing would happen. It was like they were just going through the motions, you know?

And don't even get me started on the customer satisfaction surveys. Every time I called, they would ask me to give them a positive rating, even though they hadn't done anything to deserve it. It was like they were more concerned with their ratings than with actually doing a good job. I mean, come on, guys.

Honestly, I would recommend finding a different lawn care provider. Taskeasy just isn't worth the hassle. They don't communicate well, they don't show up when they're supposed to, and they don't seem to care about their customers. Save yourself the frustration and find someone else.

Taskeasy Mixed Experience with Taskeasy: Great First Job, Terrible Recurring Service

I had a really good experience with Taskeasy when I scheduled a mow for my lawn. My husband was feeling under the weather, so I decided to take matters into my own hands and book a professional service. The team did a fantastic job, and my husband was really happy with the results too. We decided to stick with Taskeasy and scheduled a recurring service every other week.

However, things took a turn for the worse when the contractors failed to show up for the second job. I had been waiting for weeks, and it was frustrating to keep my dog locked up and wait for someone who never came. I tried to contact customer service, but they were not very helpful. They kept saying that my contractor was on their way and that they had other customers to attend to. It was really annoying to keep getting wishy-washy answers and not receive any emails about cancellations or delays.

I was really disappointed with the recurring service because it seemed like the first job was the only one that mattered. What's the point of scheduling a recurring service if they can't even show up for the second job? I would rather use someone who values my time and actually wants my money. I will never use Taskeasy again.

Taskeasy Taskeasy Review: A Disappointing and Incompetent Lawn Care Service

I gotta say, Taskeasy is a real disappointment. I mean, what's so easy about it? They say they'll find someone to cut your lawn, but it takes days for them to even show up. And when they do, it's not even the person they promised. Then you gotta spend the next two days arguing with their customer service, who can't do anything but call the same contractor who didn't show up in the first place. It's like talking to a brick wall, you know?

And don't even get me started on scheduling. They tell you they can't guarantee same-day service, and most of the time it takes 4-5 days to get anything done. By that time, your lawn is so overgrown it's practically a jungle. I had to escalate the issue just to get someone who could guarantee me same-day service, but of course, I had to pay extra for the overgrown mess that Taskeasy let happen in the first place.

Honestly, their contractors are just plain incompetent. And their customer service is a joke. I mean, I was already paying a good amount for lawn care, and Taskeasy just made it worse. I thought it would be an easy way to schedule everything, but boy was I wrong. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time with this service. I learned my lesson the hard way. NEVER USE TASKEASY.

Taskeasy Taskeasy Review: A Total Joke - Liars and Cheats Who Won't Take Responsibility for Damages

I gotta say, Taskeasy is a total joke. If I could give them negative stars, I would. They're a bunch of liars and cheats. One of their so-called "contractors" broke my AC unit condenser, which is outside my house. There's no walkway there, so only the lawn mower would go near it. I had to replace the whole unit, which cost me $2000. I filed a claim with Taskeasy, but they just gave me the runaround.

First, they said there was no grass on that side of the house. I sent them pictures to prove that there was. Then they said their contractor never mowed on that side. I sent them more pictures to prove that he did. Finally, the contractor admitted that he did mow on that side. But Taskeasy still wouldn't take responsibility. They said it was my fault, or my tenants' fault, or my neighbors' fault. They even said the damage was too severe for a lawn mower to cause. What a load of crap!

I've lived in this neighborhood for over 10 years, and I've never had any problems with anyone. Taskeasy is just trying to pass the buck and blame someone else. They didn't even bother to send anyone out to investigate. They just talked to their contractor and closed the claim. What kind of company does that?

I wouldn't recommend Taskeasy to anyone. They're a bunch of crooks who don't care about their customers. If you want to avoid a headache, stay far away from them.

Taskeasy Disappointing Experience with Taskeasy: Missed Appointments, Incomplete Job, and Poor Customer Service

So, I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with Taskeasy. I mean, don't get me wrong, they did an okay job with the yard clean up, but the whole process was just a mess. First off, they missed two appointments without even letting me know they weren't coming. And then, get this, they rescheduled for a Sunday, which they don't even work on! Like, what's the point of that?

Anyway, when they finally did show up, they only did the front yard and blew most of the leaves into the street. And they didn't even touch the hedges, which was supposed to be part of the job. When I told them I wasn't gonna pay until they fixed it, they came back and did the leaves, but still didn't touch the hedges. And then they had the nerve to tell me it was because the hedges were too tall! Like, come on, it took them over two weeks to show up, of course they're gonna be tall!

To make matters worse, they caused some damage to my house and back gate, and when I asked them to fix it, they refused. And their customer service was just terrible. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I've attached some pictures of the damage and the hedges they refused to trim.

Taskeasy Taskeasy Review: Unreliable Service and Hidden Fees

I decided to give Taskeasy a try and signed up for their bi-weekly service. The first three services went smoothly without any issues. However, last week, the contractor did not show up to mow the lawn. I was surprised because I didn't receive any call or notice from them. I waited for a while, but no one showed up. Later, I received an email from Taskeasy, informing me that they noticed the lawn wasn't mowed and that they would assign someone new in a few days.

When the new contractor arrived, they said that they needed to charge me an extra $110 because the lawn was overgrown. I was frustrated because the lawn was overgrown because they didn't mow it on time. I contacted Taskeasy support, but they were difficult to deal with. They kept saying that they could get someone out there that day if I was willing to pay extra funds. They also said that they could assign a new contractor, but I was sure that the new contractor would also ask for additional funds, and probably even more with how the lawn grows until they get there.

In summary, if anything happens to delay service, Taskeasy will expect YOU to make up the difference. And of course, since no reason is provided as to why the contractor didn't show up, it's a great money-making scheme for them. They schedule a mowing service, don't actually mow the lawn, show up days later when the grass is taller, and charge an extra $100. Every day that I argue about the overcharge, the grass gets taller, the charge gets higher, and if I want to change providers, then I'll have to pay an overgrown fee anyway.

I would not recommend doing business with Taskeasy. It's easy to set up an appointment, but they have no accountability. It's frustrating to deal with their support team, and they don't seem to care about their customers. I hope they improve their service in the future, but until then, I'll be looking for a new provider.

Taskeasy Disappointing Experience with Taskeasy Lawn Service: Late, Unreliable, and Poor Customer Service

I was really excited to try out Taskeasy for a one-time lawn cut on 9/24. However, I was disappointed when the date was moved to 9/25, and then again to 9/29. I decided to give them one more chance after speaking with customer service, who assured me that they would come on 9/29. They even spoke with the contractor to confirm.

Unfortunately, 9/29 came and went, and nobody showed up. My lawn was now so long that I would definitely be charged for the 6+ inch lawn fee. I called and emailed that night, but they were closed. The next day, I called when they opened, but had to wait 45 minutes to speak to someone. I eventually gave up and mowed the front myself.

Later that day, I spoke to someone who told me it was a "miscommunication" and that someone "may be by today but (I) don't know because I didn't speak to the contractor but he is in your area." I asked for a discount because of the egregious delay and the fact that my yard was now half mowed, but was told that wasn't possible. They also informed me that they would be charging $72, which was even more than what the app said it would be with the 6+ inch fee ($62.79). I decided to cancel.

Overall, my experience with Taskeasy was horrific. I was really hoping for a convenient and reliable service, but it seems they were unable to provide either. I'm deleting the app and telling everyone I know not to use it. What a huge waste of my time!
