I used Wayne Dalton to supply our garage for a new construction in Spring of 2018
I used Wayne Dalton to supply our garage for a new construction in Spring of 2018. We paid in stages according to the contract. In May , we received a letter stating that we would be sent to collections unless we paid a balance due of $1200. I called *** and left a voicemail, and also spoke with *** with NationServe. She informed me that she's not sure why I'm being contacted and that I don't owe any money. Then started the calls from *** She was very rude and condescending. When I sent an email to *** complaining, *** responded with a distasteful line from a movie and had a hard seeing why I would be offended. I am reaching out because no one has yet to contact me except for *** again this week. She hung up after I asked her to stop harassing me or I'd file a lawsuit. I'd like Wayne Dalton and NationServe to confirm in their records that we don't owe anything and to stop the harassing collection calls.

On May 14th we placed an order for garage doors with Wayne Dalton through ***. At that point in time we were given a false estimate of 53 days for receipt of the garage doors. On June 7th we were, for the first time, told that the windows on the doors needed to be changed. That change was relayed to Victoria P of Wayne Dalton on June 8th. On July 13th we were informed that the garage doors would ship from the manufacturer on July 22. This information was again false. On September 10th we were then told the doors would arrive on October 4th. This information was again false. On October 1st "Adriana" at Wayne Dalton stated that the doors were now delayed until October 11th. This information was again false. On October 4th we spoke with "Evelyn" at Wayne Dalton who stated that the garage doors had left the plant and were enroute to the sales center. There, supposedly, we were told by "Evelyn", that the sales center would coordinate with a local dealer to pick up the doors and deliver them directly to us. "Evelyn" stated that she had sent a message straight to our local dealer notifying them that delivery hours for us are M-F, 9am-5pm. "Evelyn" estimated an arrival of end of that week, maybe early the next week, depending on how smoothly everything goes (10/08-10/12). Again, all of these statements regarding timeframes were false. After multiple calls in late October with representatives "Victoria" (Tori) at Wayne Dalton stated that the doors were slated to be shipped October 25th. This, again, also proved to be false. We are now entering November and have not received $4776 worth of garage doors, ordered back in May this year! Sadly, we will be pursuing legal means, based on the false representations made by this company through its reps and lack of product which has not been received almost 7 months later - in the middle of construction, no less. They should be ashamed of themselves.
We ordered a garage door from the Wayne Dalton Company
We ordered a garage door from a local distributor of the Wayne Dalton Company. It has been 4 months, and we've been in touch with Wayne-Dalton directly for updates. They've given us various excuses, from COVID to raw material shortages, and even errors in the order process. We've received four different delivery dates and assurances of direct contact, which never happened. We were promised a dealer would reach out for delivery around the 5th, but now we're informed of a broken spring and a new delivery date of June 6th. This contradicts the fact that dealers don't preassemble doors; if my usual dealer hadn't retired, I would've bought from him. On consulting him, he confirmed that doors aren't preassembled by dealers but at the factory.
We ordered a garage door through a third-party intermediary from the Wayne Dalton Company. It has been 4 months. We have been contacting Wayne-Dalton directly about the status. Wayne Dalton has been making excuses to both the intermediary and myself. Excuses have ranged from COVID-19 to shortages in raw materials, to claims that the door hasn't been made or ordered correctly. We have been given four different delivery dates and promises that we would be contacted by someone directly. We were even told that the dealer would be contacting us for delivery on or near the 5th. Now I am being told that the dealers assemble the door and one of the springs was broken, so on the 18th of May, they claimed it would be June 6th before we could get a new spring and the door. This is a blatant lie, as dealers do not preassemble and then disassemble for delivery. If my preferred door dealer had not retired, I would have purchased through him. I did call for advice and was told that dealers do not preassemble the doors for quality control; that is done at the plant.
Ordered 2 garage doors through Lowe's with Wayne Dalton on 3/27
Ordered 2 garage doors through Lowe's with Wayne Dalton on 3/27. Was told 8-12 weeks for these doors. Received a phone call from Lowe's saying the garage doors were in production in early May & should arrive in June for delivery & installation. We were told in late June it would now be late July. Then in July we were told August. Now Lowe's can't get a response from Wayne Dalton on when my garage door will arrive or be installed. It has now been over 6 months & I had to pay $4300 up front & no one will even return phone calls or emails from Wayne Dalton. Lowe's was on hold for over 2 hours trying to resolve this & told them they have been emailing & calling me to schedule delivery & installation. I never received any phone calls, voicemails, or emails from them. This company should not be taking peoples money & then dragging them along for 3 months after the initial delivery was supposed to be. I asked for a refund & was told they were going to charge 20% restocking fee.

My order was placed on november 4th online at lowes website and the delivery was supposed to be yesterday, February 7th
My order was placed on november 4th online at lowes website and the delivery was supposed to be yesterday, February 7th. I called Wayne Dalton on February 8th to check the the status of my order that was supposed to be delivered February 7th and was informed by a customer service rep that my order went in production February 7th and that I won't receive the door for another 120 to 150 days. I was also informed that the reason it didn't get delivered on February 7th was because Wayne Dalton was having trouble finding a delivery service to deliver to my area because of shortages in staff. I understand that shipping services have interrupted during these times, but this doesn't negate the fact that my order didn't going into production when it was placed over 3 months ago. I am absolutely livid that my order is taking this long to come in and want it proritized. Please respond with a reasonable time frame for delivery because 4 to 5 more months of waiting will not work for me.

Ordered a new garage door through Lowe's which is provided and installed by Wayne Dalton Corp
Ordered a new garage door through Lowe's which is provided and installed by Wayne Dalton Corp. Order was placed on 11/14 with a receipt that indicates a 30 day lead time to install and we still do not have a garage door. We were told when the door was ordered that we would be contacted that week from someone with Wayne Dalton to come out and take the measurements of the door to place the work order for the door to be built. No one contacted us and a few weeks later, we called Lowes then Wayne Dalton, they finally came out on 12/13 to take the measurements. Did not hear anything a month so mid Jan we called Wayne Dalton and was told the door would ship out on 1/29 then take a week for delivery and then the installer would have another week to contact us to schedule the install thus by 2/12. Heard nothing, after multiple calls we are now being told 3/22 for the ship date. Completely unacceptable. Zero proactive outreach, unacceptable delivery dates, and no customer service.

Our garage door was purchased in January through Lowes
Our garage door was purchased in January through Lowes. We were given an 8-12 lead time from the manufacturer based on the site inspection by the installer. The installer verified site dimensions & sent them to Wayne Dalton. Several weeks after the lead time, we contacted Wayne Dalton to inquire about our door, we were told that the door should be delivered soon. Another 2 weeks later, still no door. When we contacted Wayne Dalton again, we were told that they attempted to contact the installer without response. I was told that they were waiting for the 2nd site visit to verify dimensions from the installer. I immediately called the installer, which answered right away. The installer informed me that he had not been contacted, nor could he see any attempt of contact. Also the installer informed me that in all of his years of service,he has never been requested to make a 2nd site visit. Many months, calls to & lies from Wayne Dalton later, we still do not have our garage door.

Ordered garage door in Dec
Ordered garage door in Dec. Was told 6-8 weeks. Then was told 12 March, then 27 March. Told it shipped 4/6, now told it will ship next week I ordered a Wayne Dalton garage door through Lowe's on 4 Dec 2020. It's a special order because of the size. I had to wait 2 days to get a price on it while Lowe's contacted the manufacturer. In January, I checked the status of the door. When Lowe's called Wayne Dalton, they were told they didn't make that size door in the style I ordered. Not sure how they gave a price if they don't make it. I then ordered a different model in the size I needed. Even though the original order was placed in December, Wayne Dalton ignored that date and used the date of the new order for their production scheduling. They informed me the door would be completed on 3/12. The day it was supposed to ship, I received a phone call saying there was a problem with production and the door would not be completed until 3/27. I continued to follow up with them and was finally given a ship date of 4/6 with a 5-7 day transit time. Two different people provided this information to me. Today, 4/16, I was told the door arrived at the docs in Florida and would ship next week and should arrive in New Mexico on 5/6. I had to pay for this special order up front, have a second garage of the same model already installed. I planned my move into my new shop based on information i received from Wayne Dalton. I have a workshop full of cars, motorcycles, and tools with no door. I can't even leave because I risk items being stolen. Customers are not comfortable with their items being left in an unsecured location. Additionally, I had someone ready to install the door as soon as it arrived. That person is no longer available and I will have to schedule and pay for and install once the door actually arrives. This is completely unacceptable!
