I ordered a Versatube Carport over three weeks ago. The frame came on time like they said, and they told me the sheet metal would come two weeks after the frame. On the 14th day after the frame came, I reached out to Versatube to find out when the sheet metal would arrive. They told me that the sheet metal wouldn't be loaded onto the truck for another 5 weeks, which means it will take 7 to 8 weeks for it to be delivered after I placed my order. This is different from what they originally told me. I contacted Versatube and talked to Heather and Morgan. I told them I would get my sheet metal from somewhere else and asked for a refund. Morgan said she would contact me on 12 April to talk about my refund. But I haven't heard anything back, like I expected. This company is full of lies and their customer service is one of the worst I've experienced. I'm still waiting for a response. Be careful if you decide to buy from them...look somewhere else!

I ordered and got my VersaTube Building Systems, but the instructions ain't got the info I need. Ain't nobody callin' me back. Once they sell it, they don't give no service. We got the building with the metal sheets and frame, but the instruction booklets got different info. We started buildin' it, but we need some guidance to finish. We either got too many parts or not enough.

I placed an order and paid for it on 6/23. They said (via email) that the product would be shipped on 7/10. But guess what? It still hasn't been shipped! I paid a whopping $2,181.06 for this order. They told me (via email again) on 7/26 that it would be shipped on 7/10 and that I would get a confirmation email. Well, surprise surprise, no confirmation email came and the product is nowhere to be found. I don't want to cancel the order because they'll charge me a ridiculous 35% cancellation fee. Unless, of course, they suddenly decide to claim that the product has been shipped, in which case the cancellation fee magically jumps up to 50%. Can you believe that?

VersaTube sold our nonprofit an expensive unit and didn't ship the end pieces with the order. The Versa Tube structure we ordered was delivered without the end pieces needed to finish putting it up. Versa Tube wouldn't send the missing parts or refund the $300+ we asked for multiple times. We're an award-winning children's charity serving over 150,000 of the poorest children in the Inland Empire, Southern California. Despite this, they accused us of lying. They were really rude and said they couldn't do anything to make things right with our charity. We had to spend an extra $300-$400 to buy parts and have them custom-made to fit the structure. Instead of getting a refund, they kept our money, making us spend more than we budgeted for. Once they had our money, Versa Tube became completely uncooperative. We'll never do business with them again.

I got charged for a canceled order from VersaTube Building Systems. I placed an order for a carport on 8/29, but the shipping address was wrong, so I canceled it on the same day. I reordered with the correct shipping address. They sent me a cancellation notice for the first order, but they still charged me. I emailed them to make sure they wouldn't bill me twice, but they did. I didn't realize I was being billed twice because the cancellation order was accepted within their policy's timeframe. It wasn't until a month later when I received my credit card statement that I found out. It's impossible to reach anyone by phone, and it takes days, if not longer, to hear back from them via voicemail or email. They've never returned a voicemail, not even for installation help. I've called numerous times, but I still haven't gotten an answer. Now I've been charged on my credit card and paid interest for an order that was canceled over a month ago. When I complained by email, they said I didn't request a refund. I asked why I needed to ask for a refund for an order that was canceled before it was completed. They said they would issue a refund, but they haven't. As a result, I'm still incurring finance charges and interest because they haven't credited my card. The order number is ***. The amount is $2502.91 plus interest. The date is 8/29 for the Classic Carport. The Customer Experience Team is EJ or Erica R.

Extremely Poor Customer Service for Carport Order on July 9. Was informed that sheet metal was shipped separately but never got confirmation of the structure's shipment. Multiple calls about the order status went unanswered. The customer received the structure but not the sheet metal. Inquiring about the sheet metal, I was told it could take a week to locate. This is unacceptable as my experience says 24-36 hours is standard. No follow-up received. Erica R eventually sent an email with a tracking number stating delivery was complete. However, the customer reports no sheet metal received. Emails on August 11 and 18 addressed this, and on August 25, I sent another follow-up to Erica about the sheet metal. The company's customer service is unresponsive by phone or email, and their support channels are ineffective. I will not engage with this company again despite the quality of their carports; their customer service is horrendous. I just want to know the whereabouts of the sheet metal.

I bought a 20x20 garage from VersaTube.com on July 24th. They said it would take 28 days, but it's been 46 days and still no garage. I contacted VersaTube many times through email. On August 10th, they said it would arrive on August 24th. I contacted them again on August 31st and they said my order was being packed and would ship on September 1st. They said it would take 2-5 days to deliver. Yesterday, on the 7th, I contacted them again because I hadn't heard anything or received my order. They gave me a shipping company's number and told me to contact them directly. I called the shipping company, but they couldn't give me a delivery date because they're using a third-party shipping company. I asked which company it was, but the representative said they hadn't confirmed it yet and would know more in 48 hours. Usually, delivery takes 5-7 days once it's confirmed. I ordered this garage for our new home, which is a manufactured home on raw land. I needed it within 28 days so I could install it before the home was delivered. It's required for the final building permit and for the location of my permanent power inlet and well pressure tank. These were supposed to be done this week, but now I have to reschedule because of the shipping delays. This is costing me $250 in penalties with my contractor. The 3 weeks also gave me time to install it before school started. Due to Covid restrictions, I have to work from home while my kids attend school remotely. It's been 46 days since I ordered the package, and it will take another 5-7 days to arrive after the sheet metal delivery.

I purchased a Versa Tube White Metal Carport on May 31. It arrived on June 23, but unfortunately, one metal sheet panel was missing from the package. I hired a contractor from Porch.Com to assemble the carport on June 24. When the contractor finished putting it together, he noticed the missing panel. I told him I would contact the seller to inform them about the issue. The manager at the store explained that they don't manufacture the panels and advised me to reach out to the manufacturer directly. So, I called Versa Tube and spoke with Ciara C from the Customer Experience Team. She instructed me to take pictures of the erected carport from all angles and send them to her. She mentioned that she would forward the pictures to the management team and get back to me the next day. To my surprise, I received an email at 10:39pm on Friday night stating that the management team couldn't approve the ticket for the missing panel because they considered the installation improper. According to the email, the contractor didn't start the first run of panels correctly, resulting in a 1" overhang on each side that was incorrect. I found this confusing because I didn't understand how the missing panel and the 1" overhang were related. I shared my concern with Ciara and asked for clarification. In response, she sent me a link to purchase the metal panel myself. Frustrated, I decided to go ahead and order the missing panel, which cost $58. However, when I reached the end of the purchase process, I was shocked to see that the shipping cost was $456! That meant I would have to pay a total of $514 just for one metal panel. I couldn't understand why I had to bear this additional cost when I had already paid for the carport, including the $85 shipping fee, which amounted to $2,207. Overall, I appreciate the contractor's effort in assembling the carport, especially considering that my driveway was not perfectly level. It had a slight incline, which made the job more challenging. However, I am disappointed with the customer service experience I had with Versa Tube. The missing panel issue was not resolved satisfactorily, and the unexpected high cost of purchasing the replacement panel was frustrating.
