Travel Merry's Exceptional Customer Service Saved My Flight - 5 Stars!
Travel Merry really helped me out of a tough spot recently, and I couldn't be happier with my decision to book my tickets through them. I had a bit of a problem with my seat allocation when I checked in with the airline agent. They had given me a middle seat, which I wasn't too thrilled about, and despite my repeated requests for a window seat, the agent refused to budge. They told me that all the seats in the economy cabin were already taken, and there was nothing they could do.
Feeling frustrated and upset, I decided to put the agent on hold and call up Travel Merry's customer service team to see if they could help me out. I was pretty worked up when I got on the phone with the Travel Merry agent, and I may have raised my voice a bit as I explained my situation. I told them that if I couldn't get the seat I wanted, I wouldn't be booking with Travel Merry again in the future.
But to my surprise, the Travel Merry agent was incredibly helpful and understanding. They assured me that they would do everything in their power to get me the window seat I wanted, and within just five minutes, they called me back to let me know that my seat had been upgraded to premium economy at no extra cost! I was absolutely thrilled and couldn't believe how quickly and efficiently the Travel Merry team had resolved my issue.
When I asked the agent how they had managed to get me such a great upgrade, they simply told me that they had expressed my dissatisfaction with the airline and put pressure on the staff to find a solution. I was so impressed with their dedication and commitment to customer service, and I knew that I would definitely be booking with Travel Merry again in the future.
Overall, I have to say that I am incredibly grateful to the Travel Merry team for helping me have the best flying experience possible. Their customer service is truly top-notch, and I would give them a five-star rating without hesitation. Thanks again, Travel Merry!
Travel Merry: Affordable Air Tickets and Exceptional Customer Service
I was on the hunt for a good deal on flights to Amsterdam and decided to check out a few travel sites. I was having a hard time deciding which flight to take for my upcoming trip, so I sent emails to a few different sites, including Travel Merry. I included all the details of my shortlisted flights, like the flight numbers, travel dates, and prices as shown on the online travel sites.
What really caught my attention was that Travel Merry was able to match its competitors' prices, and in some cases, their prices were even cheaper! I was impressed with their customer service team, too. I got a reply to my email query from Travel Merry within just one hour of posting my question, while the other two travel sites didn't respond at all.
Not only did I get a quick response, but the Travel Merry customer agent also gave me unpublished fares for the same flights and travel dates that were a lot cheaper than those advertised on their site. I was so excited about the deal that I immediately called the agent on their 24 x 7 helpline number and bought my flight tickets for my Amsterdam vacation.
The agent was so polite and well-mannered, and they made my buying experience easy and stress-free. In just five minutes, after listening to my flight preferences, I received my travel itinerary and tickets in my email. I'm so glad I chose Travel Merry as my source for buying affordable air tickets for my journey, and the best part was the unpublished fares that the agent gave me. I saved a considerable amount of money, and the deal was better than the other sites.
I will definitely keep buying my tickets on Travel Merry because of their better airfares on international flights. The customer service team is top-notch, and they really go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy. I highly recommend Travel Merry to anyone looking for affordable air tickets for their next trip.
Travel Merry: The Best Website for Affordable Flights and Hassle-Free Travel
Travel Merry is my go-to website for booking cheap flights to my favorite destinations. Every summer, I take a break with my little ones and we love to explore Europe. Europe has some of the most beautiful holiday getaways in the world, and Travel Merry has always been my trusted partner in making these trips happen.
One of the things I love about Travel Merry is their amazing customer service. They always go above and beyond to ensure that my travel experience is smooth and hassle-free. But what really sets them apart from other travel websites is their great travel deals at affordable prices. I have saved a lot of money by booking my flights with Travel Merry, and I always recommend them to my friends and family.
One of the best things about Travel Merry is their 24-hour cancellation policy. This policy allows customers to cancel their already booked tickets without any cancellation fees within 24 hours of booking. I always advise travelers to opt for this policy as it can really benefit you in case you change your mind about your travel plans. If you don't opt for this policy, you will end up incurring $150 as the cancellation fees apart from the airline fee for cancellation that you would be paying.
Currently, the 24-hour policy can be purchased for just $15, and Travel Merry even promises their lowest fare guarantee. This means that if there is a price drop in the booked fare, you can expect a partial refund of the difference in the airfares if a lower airfare to your destination exists. I have personally opted for this policy during my last 3 transactions, and I got a partial refund of $150 in my most recent flight booking, which was a roundtrip flight for 4 people (2 adults and 2 children) to London because Travel Merry had a lower fare for my booking. The $150 savings I made really made a big difference for me, and I highly recommend customers to always buy the 24-hour cancellation policy that can come in handy in more than just one way.
In conclusion, if you're looking for a reliable and affordable travel website, Travel Merry is the way to go. Their amazing customer service, great travel deals, and 24-hour cancellation policy make them stand out from the rest. I will definitely continue to use Travel Merry for all my future travel needs.
Disappointing Communication from TravelMerry during Flight Disruption - A Review
I had one of the worst experiences of my life while flying from John F Kennedy to London Heathrow with TravelMerry. The flight was disrupted due to violent thunderstorms and heavy rainfall, and our pilot announced an emergency landing at Amsterdam Schiphol International airport. We were stranded at the airport for three hours, and American Airlines, the carrier I was flying with, announced that they were unable to resume their non-stop flight service back to London Heathrow due to the prolonged bad weather. However, the AA customer service team was very helpful and offered complimentary hotel stay for all affected passengers to spend the night. They assisted us in a seamless transfer from the airport to the nearby hotel.
Although I was happy with the top-notch customer service given by American Airlines, I was not happy with losing one day of my precious holiday in London. I regretted flying to London during the unforeseen bad weather. While I cannot blame TravelMerry for the stalling of the non-stop flight service to London, I was disappointed that I did not receive periodic updates about the weather and flight status from them. I did receive flight updates until the start of my journey, but updates stopped coming once we force landed in Amsterdam. Only after 30 minutes did I see an update from TravelMerry. When I called their customer service, they told me that due to the bad weather, there was a network outage, and they couldn't send us the updates on time. On the good side, the agent enquired about the current status and was happy to know that AA had arranged for complimentary accommodation to all affected passengers and assured me of TravelMerry's best services.
Overall, I would give TravelMerry only 3.5 stars for the whole flying experience. While I appreciate the efforts of American Airlines, I was disappointed with the lack of communication from TravelMerry during the flight disruption. I hope they can improve their communication channels and provide better updates to their customers in the future.
Affordable Airfare and Helpful Customer Service: A Review of Travel Merry
My brother Mark and I recently decided to book a business trip to London and we were on the lookout for the best deals on airfare. That's when we stumbled upon Travel Merry, and boy were we glad we did! The prices for British Airways Premium Economy class roundtrip tickets were at least 10% cheaper on Travel Merry than on other travel sites we checked out.
As soon as Mark told me he was going to book the tickets on Travel Merry, I remembered that I had a British Airways Executive Club membership with a ton of miles that I hadn't used yet. I suggested to Mark that we should redeem those miles for some free perks from BA. So, he called up the customer service team at Travel Merry to see if we could use our miles for some added benefits.
The Travel Merry agent who answered the call was very helpful and informative. He told us that Travel Merry isn't involved in the miles redemption process, and that we should contact British Airways customer service for any issues related to the Executive Club miles. However, he did give us some valuable information on how we could use our Executive Club membership privileges and miles for priority check-in, priority boarding, lounge access, hotel and seat upgrades, and more.
The agent, Bart, also advised us to provide him with our Executive Club membership number so that the new miles could be added to our airline tickets before the generation of PNR and the flight tickets. This was really helpful, as we wouldn't have known to do this otherwise. Thanks to Bart's advice, our miles were successfully added to our tickets at the end of the transaction.
We later redeemed our miles for hotel and car rentals in London, in accordance with the rules governing the membership. This saved us a lot of money, and we were really grateful for Bart's help and guidance throughout the process. Overall, we had a great experience with Travel Merry and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for affordable airfare and helpful customer service.
TravelMerry: The Ultimate Solution for Cheap Flights to Europe
I gotta tell you about my amazing experience with TravelMerry. I was planning a trip to Dublin in the summer of 2018 and I needed to find the cheapest flights from JFK to DUB. I was a bit confused about which airport to choose in NYC, but TravelMerry's search engine made it super easy for me to find the best deals.
I was blown away by the huge selection of flights available on TravelMerry. They had everything from budget airlines to luxury carriers, and the prices were unbeatable. I was able to find a roundtrip economy fare with American Airlines for just under $600, which was a steal.
One of the things I love about TravelMerry is their advanced search filter. It's so easy to use and it lets you customize your search based on your preferences. You can choose your airports, non-stop flights, flights with stopovers, and even your preferred carriers. I found the lowest fares between JFK and DUB, which was great because I didn't want to spend a fortune on my flights.
I booked my tickets two months in advance, just like the customer service agent Alex suggested. He gave me some great tips on how to find the cheapest flights, and I'm so glad I listened to him. TravelMerry always lives up to their lowest fares guarantee, so I knew I was getting the best deal possible.
Overall, I would definitely recommend TravelMerry to anyone looking for cheap flights to Europe. They have amazing deals and their customer service is top-notch. I give them five stars!
Travel Merry Review: Rollercoaster Ride with Some Positives and Negatives
So, I recently booked a flight with Travel Merry and I have to say, it was a bit of a rollercoaster ride. At first, I received an email with a reservation code, but it said that my flight was not yet confirmed and that tickets could change. Needless to say, I was pretty worried. However, a few hours later, I received a phone call from an agent who informed me that there was an issue booking my ticket with Spirit airlines. But, he had found the same flight for me with DELTA and it was almost the same times for departure and return.
Now, let's talk about the positives. I was absolutely shocked when I actually received the tickets two days later. The man who helped me stayed on the phone with me to verify on the Delta website that the tickets were real. He sent me the details in an email and asked me to verbally approve before charging. I was very skeptical because Delta's prices were three times the cost of Spirit and I thought it was too good to be true! However, he did not ask me for any additional credit card information over the phone and the signature in the emails he was sending me looked official from the Travel Merry website.
On the other hand, there were some negatives. On the Travel Merry website under the bookings page, it never had a pending or processing booking, it was just blank. So, I was very paranoid the entire time I waited for my tickets to be issued. Another red flag was that the agent said he needed to verify my bank account before he charged the full amount. He said there would be a .05-.20 cent charge and asked me to verify the amount to prevent credit card fraud. It was refunded a day later.
I booked on a Saturday, Sunday was Easter, and I didn't get my tickets until Monday late afternoon. I called every day in a state of paranoia after reading reviews. It wasn't a scam, but I gave 4 stars because of the stress with the changes and the amount of times I needed to call to have my issue resolved. One other weird thing is that my ticket has MRS. in it. For example, ChristinaMiss Kerrigan. It says on Delta that it's free to change the name, so I am calling Delta to make sure that everything is good to go before we fly.
But, let's end on a positive note. We saved a hell of a lot of money flying Delta at the same price as a Spirit flight! Overall, I would recommend Travel Merry, but just be prepared for some bumps in the road.
Terrible Experience with TravelMerry: Stay Away from this Scam Travel Agency!
Me and my wife recently booked round trip tickets from TravelMerry, LAX-BKK-LAX (with connections inbound and outbound in HKG) with Cathay Pacific. Unfortunately, while we were in BKK, the Corona Virus hit mainland China and Hong Kong with a vengeance. As our departure date approached, the situation worsened and we didn't feel safe boarding the flight with 300 Chinese passengers of unknown origins for a 15-hour flight to LAX.
We contacted Cathay Pacific and they offered full refunds, but only if purchased from the carrier. All others were directed to call the travel agency that sold the original ticket. We then contacted TravelMerry and requested a refund. However, the "Customer DIService" agent laughed at us and told us to contact Cathay Pacific for a refund. He then hung up on us. We were polite and considerate, but the agent was not.
We ended up purchasing one-way tickets on Korean through Seoul/Incheon, then direct to LAX. It was a bit pricey at the last minute, but it was the only way to mitigate the possible exposure risk. After arriving back in the USA, we contacted TravelMerry again and were told that since we were already back in the USA, the ticket was forfeit. This was not true.
In my opinion, TravelMerry is a terrible travel agency. The "five stars" reviews are all from paid trolls and do not accurately reflect the true nature of the "business". We will be contacting Cathay about blacklisting these scammers as it does, in some ways, ultimately reflect on the carrier. Stay away!
Travel Merry: Best Deals and Customer Service for International Flights to Dubai
I was looking for a way to fly from New York to Dubai and I wanted to find some of the best international flights to this middle-eastern destination. So, I pulled out my laptop and turned it on to surf the net for some cheap deals. I surfed through at least 4 to 5 popular travel sites, but I found some of the best deals on Travel Merry. I had never used Travel Merry before to buy flight tickets, but I just did a Google search for my travel requirement and I got hooked to this site. What I like most about Travel Merry is their customer service that made a real big difference. I'm gonna keep coming back to Travel Merry because I like their deals and service.
I am a frequent business traveler and I travel mainly to middle-eastern and European countries on business related work. Since I fly out from the US on business, I always fly business class and since my destination is Dubai I wanted to fly by Emirates as this is a premium airline known for operating top of the line service between Chicago and Dubai. I found a good number of non-stop flights by Emirates on their famous business class category and the pricing too was the cheap when compared to other travel sites and to make things better Travel Merry was offering $20 discount on this deal.
Before I purchased my business class roundtrip tickets on TM I wanted an advice from the TM customer service so I called the toll free 24 hour service. My call was courteously answered by an agent named Bob and he was quick to understand and had all necessary knowledge to handle any kind of problem. I told him about my preference of flying business class on Emirates to Dubai, he suggested that I consider flying business class on Etihad Airways instead of Emirates and told me I could save at least $250 on the entire roundtrip and comfort wise it is as good as Emirates. I just believed Bob and gave him instructions to freeze a ticket for my scheduled dates and made a payment for the booking.
I realized that Bob was 100% right when he said that Etihad is as good as Emirates and I really want to thank the customer service team of Travel Merry for the awesome flight and helping me save tons of dollars. My 5 stars to Travel Merry.
Mixed Experience with Travel Merry: Great Flight Listings, Poor Airport Advice
I recently took a flight from New York to Milan and had to decide which airports to use for my journey. I searched online for the best deals and browsed through a few travel sites to get an idea of the prices and carriers available. Out of all the sites I visited, Travel Merry caught my attention with its impressive flight listings and valid coupon codes that could be used for further discounts. Although other sites offered similar prices, I decided to book my tickets through Travel Merry because of its user-friendly website and easy navigation.
After browsing through the site, I called the 24 x 7 customer service for advice on which airports to use for the lowest airfares and ease of travel. The agent who answered my call, Andrew, suggested that I use John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York and Malpensa (MXP) in Milan for the cheapest airfares. He explained that more operators have flights on this route, making it the best option for me. I followed his advice and booked the best deal at the lowest fares from New York to Malpensa.
However, my satisfaction with the online deal quickly turned sour when I landed at Malpensa International Airport in Milan. I realized that the airport was located 54 km away from the city center, and I had a hard time finding the best and cheapest way to reach the city. I eventually took the Malpensa Express, but it took almost an hour to reach the city center. I later found out that Milan Linate (LIN), Milan's second international airport, was only 8 km from the city center. If I had chosen Linate as my arrival airport, I would have saved a lot of time and stress.
I was disappointed with the advice given by the customer agent Andrew, and I felt that I should have been given better guidance on which airport to use. While I understand that I paid less for my air travel, I really didn't appreciate the location of Malpensa Airport. I wouldn't have minded paying more for round trip tickets if it meant avoiding the inconvenience of traveling from a far-off airport. Overall, I give Travel Merry 3 stars for the poor advice given by their customer agent.

Unreliable and Unhelpful: My Experience with Travel Merry
I had a pretty bad experience with Travel Merry when I tried to book a couple of tickets to Ireland last year. I was looking for a cheap deal, so I thought I'd take a chance on this site. Unfortunately, things didn't go as smoothly as I had hoped.
When I tried to book the tickets, I only received confirmation for one of them. I was a bit confused, so I called their customer service to find out what was going on. They told me that the second ticket would be confirmed soon, so I waited patiently. However, after more than 24 hours, I received an email saying that the second ticket had been cancelled.
I was pretty upset about this, so I called Travel Merry again to see if they could help me out. Unfortunately, they told me that it would cost twice the flight cost to cancel the ticket and about the same to book the second ticket for my wife. I was faced with a tough choice: either fly separately from my wife or pay double the advertised price.
Thankfully, I was able to get some help from Chase, who agreed that this was fraud and withdrew the charge. However, over a year later, I started getting harassed by Travel Merry about cancelling their charge. It was frustrating to deal with people who were misrepresenting what happened and acting like I just wanted to add on a ticket.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend booking with Travel Merry. It seems like their business model is to not give you the flight you paid for and then try to get you to pay double for flights. Plus, their customer service wasn't very helpful when I had an issue. If you're looking for a reliable travel site, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.
Deceptive Sales Practices: My Frustrating Experience with TravelMerry
I recently had an experience with TravelMerry that left me feeling quite frustrated. I placed an order on their website on April 21 for economy class tickets. I specifically chose the higher-priced economy tickets because I knew that the basic economy tickets had a lot of restrictions.
Shortly after placing my order, one of their agents called me and said they were having trouble booking the flights I had requested. They asked if an alternative time would work, but unfortunately, it wouldn't. They said they would see what they could do.
A little while later, I received confirmation for the flights I had originally requested. However, when I loaded up the United app last week, I discovered that our tickets had been reserved as basic economy. These tickets are $200 per person less valuable than the tickets I had ordered. When I tried to resolve this over the phone, I was told that I would have to pay the difference. This was not acceptable to me.
I am deeply disappointed in TravelMerry for misrepresenting the goods they sold me and for their deceptive sales practices. It's frustrating to feel like I was tricked into paying more for something that I didn't receive. I hope that they will take steps to improve their customer service and be more transparent in the future.
Efficient Customer Service and Affordable Flights: My Experience with TravelMerry
I recently had an experience with TravelMerry that I wanted to share. I was looking to book a flight to Istanbul and decided to check out their website. I have to say, it was really easy to navigate and I found a great deal on a roundtrip economy fare in just 10 minutes. However, when I went to pay with my credit card, I ran into some trouble with the payment gateway. The site was running slow and my transaction failed the first time.
I was a bit frustrated, but I decided to call TravelMerry's customer service line to see if they could help. The agent who answered was really nice and polite. He told me that it would take a couple of days to confirm the transaction, but that my card hadn't been charged and I could try booking again. I was relieved to hear that everything was okay, but I did suggest that they work on optimizing their site for faster browsing speeds.
Overall, I have to say that I was impressed with TravelMerry's customer service. They were genuine and reliable, just as they promised. While I did run into a minor issue, it was resolved quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend TravelMerry to anyone looking for affordable flights.

Terrible Customer Service and Fees: My Experience with TravelMerry
So, I had a bit of a rough experience with TravelMerry. My flight got cancelled and I was told to call them right away. I did, but the person on the other end couldn't find any information about my flight or give me any options. I had to call back three times before someone finally checked online and saw that the flight had been cancelled by the airline.
When you call TravelMerry, there's always a lot of background noise and the sound quality is pretty bad. It can be really hard to understand what they're saying over the phone, and they don't seem to reply to emails either.
Once they confirmed that my flight was cancelled, they told me that it was because of COVID and that I should wait 24 hours for them to find other options. But after 24 hours, no one called me back, so I had to call them again. And again. And again. It seemed like no one there knew how to find any information, so it took me 48 hours to finally talk to someone who told me that they didn't have any other options and that the best thing to do was to ask for a refund.
But here's the kicker: they told me that I would have to pay a $100 fee for the service, even though there was no service to speak of! I asked for the refund anyway, and it's been a week since I requested it. They haven't even confirmed that they're processing it yet. So now I'm stuck calling them almost every day just to make sure that I'm actually going to get my money back.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend TravelMerry. Their customer service is pretty terrible, and it seems like they don't really know what they're doing. If you're looking for a reliable travel booking site, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.
Terrible Experience with TravelMerry - Will Never Use Again!
I am extremely frustrated with my experience with TravelMerry. I will never use their services again! All of the other reviews I read before booking my flight confirmed my experience.
I found a flight for a great price of $575 for a quick 4-day getaway. After booking, the confirmation page stated that my booking was "in process and not confirmed." This made me worry. The next morning, I received a phone call from someone with an Indian accent that I could barely understand. The only thing I could make out was "call me back." It was clear that they couldn't even pronounce the name of their own company correctly. I didn't think much of it and didn't call them back.
They didn't text or email me any updates. When I called to confirm my booking, it was too late. The flight I wanted was already gone. They offered me a new flight for $1270 instead of the original $575, and the new flight times cut my vacation short to only 3 days. I wasted two days of my time and my nerves were shot.
Someone else mentioned in their review that TravelMerry doesn't listen to their customers, and I completely agree. They talk over you and don't stop talking even when you're trying to say something. Is this just part of Indian culture? It was very stressful and I hated it!
I'm also worried because they have my credit card information on file. I hope they don't charge me for anything else. Overall, I would not recommend TravelMerry to anyone.
Avoid TravelMerry: Terrible Customer Service and Overcharging Tactics
I had a terrible experience with TravelMerry. Their customer service was absolutely atrocious. They overcharged me for a ticket change and invented a bogus "fare and tax difference" charge from the airline. However, when they billed me, they failed to itemize the charges. I repeatedly asked for an itemized bill for 5 months, but they kept promising to provide it within 24-48 hours. Finally, they refused to do so, and it became clear that the charge was a complete invention on their part. The airline website showed no indication that any additional money was paid to it by TravelMerry.
It was almost impossible to get connected to anybody with any level of intelligence there, and the communication was terrible. The entire company works out of India, and it was difficult to understand them. Phone calls were choppy, and they repeatedly promised to respond within 24 hours, but they never did. Each time I called, I had to explain everything all over again. Even their "senior staff" were inept and no better than their regular staff. They had an "escalations" department, but it was just as inept as their regular customer service line.
I strongly advise avoiding this company like the plague. When things go well with your reservation, it's fine. But as soon as there is the slightest complication, TravelMerry will use it as an opportunity to extract more money from you.
Terrible Experience with TravelMerry: Unreliable and Unprofessional Service
I recently had a terrible experience with TravelMerry. I was looking for the cheapest flight options and found their website, which showed the lowest prices. However, after making the purchase, I received an email stating that there was a problem with my payment and I needed to call them to confirm.
I tried calling multiple times but no one answered. Finally, after 5 hours of trying, I was able to speak to a representative who told me that my booking might be processed by the end of the day. I decided to wait, but when I called back after 20 hours, I was told that my reservation was still not processed.
I asked to speak with a manager and after a 2-hour wait, I finally got a call from someone who was outright rude. They told me that they were aware that the ticket wouldn't be available and they were just holding my reservation in case someone cancelled their ticket and the airline offered the same price again.
This waiting period caused the ticket prices to go up and I ended up having to pay double the original price. I was extremely disappointed with the service and will never book with them again.
If you're looking for a reliable travel booking service, I suggest you look elsewhere. TravelMerry is not worth the hassle.
TravelMerry Review: Overcharged for Cancellation and Slow Refund Process - 2 Stars
I had to cancel my tickets with TravelMerry within the 24-hour period to get a full refund, but to my surprise, they deducted $100 from the total airfare. I was not happy with this and decided to call their customer service to inquire about the issue. It took me a good 15 minutes to explain to the agent that there was a mistake on their end and that I was entitled to a full refund.
I paid for the Business class roundtrip and even opted for the $15 optional 24-hour cancellation fee, which should have entitled me to a refund without any cancellation charges from TravelMerry. However, I was still charged a cancellation fee. The customer agent finally admitted their mistake and apologized, and I got my overcharged $100 back. Although I was happy to get my money back, I was not pleased with the mistake made by TravelMerry. I expected better from a travel site like them, and I hope they don't repeat such mistakes in the future.
Another issue I faced was the delay in receiving confirmation about the credit of the overcharged amount back into my account. It took them a whopping 2 months to credit the amount that was wrongly charged. This was unacceptable, and I hope they revamp their procedures and try to answer the customer proactively.
The team at TravelMerry is slow to respond, and half the time their toll-free line is busy attending to other customers. This is not good enough, and I hope they wake up and give better service to their customers. I was really pissed off with their bad service, and I can only give them a 2-star rating for all the trouble they caused me.
In conclusion, I hope TravelMerry takes note of these issues and works to improve their service. Customers deserve better, and I hope they can deliver on that promise.
TravelMerry Review: Shady Practices and Hidden Fees - Don't Book with Them!
I just wanted to share my experience with TravelMerry so that others can make informed decisions when booking with them.
I recently purchased a ticket through their website and was under the impression that one check-in bag was allowed per adult. However, when I arrived at the airport, I was informed that my ticket did not include any baggage allowance. I was shocked and confused, as the website clearly stated that one bag was allowed.
Thankfully, I had taken a screenshot of the page before checkout and thought that everything would be sorted out easily. Unfortunately, this was not the case. TravelMerry refused to honor what their website had stated and told me that there were two asterisks next to the baggage allowance, indicating that no luggage was included. However, nowhere on the checkout page or the terms and conditions did it explain what the asterisks meant. I assumed that they were supposed to link to information about the weight allowance or some kind of error.
I had even double-checked with the airline to confirm that economy tickets included one bag, so I thought that I had done everything correctly. However, it turns out that TravelMerry was trying to sell me an economy light ticket under the guise of a regular economy ticket. I had screenshots to prove this, but they were unwilling to give me a refund or provide me with the baggage allowance that I had paid for.
After countless emails and phone calls, they still refused to help me, despite admitting that their practices were unclear and confusing. In the end, I was charged $120 in baggage fees, which felt like daylight robbery.
Overall, I would not recommend booking with TravelMerry. Their practices are shady and they do not honor what they advertise on their website. It's best to book directly with the airline to avoid any confusion or unexpected fees.
Disappointing Experience with TravelMerry: Missed Flight and Unhelpful Customer Service
I had a recent experience with TravelMerry that left me feeling disappointed. I was traveling from New York to Paris on an American Airlines flight with a layover in Istanbul. The first leg of my journey went smoothly, but when I arrived at Istanbul airport, I was met with a sea of people. It was peak festival time, with Easter Passover in full swing, and the airport was overcrowded with travelers.
To make matters worse, the screening area was even more crowded, resulting in long wait times. I was in a rush to catch my connecting flight, but I found myself stuck in a queue that seemed to go on forever. I tried to explain my situation to my fellow passengers, but they were all in a rush to catch their own flights and couldn't let me cut in line.
After 35 minutes of waiting, I finally made it through security and rushed to the American Airlines ticketing counter. Unfortunately, I was told that I had missed my flight and would need to purchase a new ticket. Since it was a connecting flight, the airline couldn't be held responsible for my delay.
Feeling frustrated and out of options, I decided to call TravelMerry's customer service team. I explained my situation and asked if they could help me avoid the cost of buying a new ticket. Unfortunately, they were unable to offer me a free ticket, citing my failure to arrive at the airport on time as the reason for my missed flight.
While I understand that it was ultimately my responsibility to arrive at the airport on time, I was disappointed with TravelMerry's customer service. I had hoped that they would be able to offer some assistance or advice, but they were unable to do so.
In hindsight, I would advise others to avoid traveling during peak festival times with layovers, as there is a high risk of missing a flight due to overcrowded airports. Overall, my experience with TravelMerry was not a positive one, and I ended up paying unnecessary airfare for a missed flight.
Horrible customer service
What a horrible customer service they have! Most of their representatives speak the poorest English I have ever heard, with a terrible accent so you will never understand what exactly they try to say.
TravelMerry, did you try to save some money on your staff? Well, it didn't work, if you don't know. I spent over 6 hours on the phone with them trying to straighten the things out. It was terrible.
please, don't waste your time and money and book elsewhere
liars
I found this site and was amazed with their super cheap prices and ordered a ticket. I was already planning my trip but then they called me and said that my ticket was cancelled because thy had a problem with my credit card. They said that my bank was not allowing them to take the money. Called my bank to see what was the problem and they said that they did nothing and that TravelMerry already received the money! Called them again and they claimed my bank was a liar and that they never charged me. But the fact was that the did. Avoid this nasty company!
