( Ayrlp .coM ) supported in regaining my losses after the mess I faced with these people.
I lost all my investment money due to their fault and they won't refund me in full. Customers should not be forced to pay for their mistakes. This is fraud and it seems that they will get away with it. This company is dishonest, I don't think you can trust them with your hard-earned money. I'm very sorry to say that I'm hugely disappointed in the service I have received.
Recommendation: I don't think you can trust them with your hard-earned money.
Wallet got hacked
My wallet got hacked and all my coins transferred. Reported my issue in the community and sent an email to support. Ironically, they didn't care about me being hacked! I had all the securities available on the app active, still I lost my money. The only reply was a standard "we are sorry and cannot do anything to recover transferred funds" the support had the audacity to say "we don't charge any money for our app and it's a free service" how irresponsible. I really don't care about the money. I was expecting Support to at least conduct an investigation and get to the bottom of this issue. They didn't even ask for any details or provide any solutions! For sure trust Wallet is not TRUST worthy and don't care about their users. Some people contacted me from the community, but one cannot trust any of these users (maybe genuine). My TRUST was in trust wallet, which didn't do anything. BE CAREFUL while using TW. Their security features are not secure and hacks do happen.
Update:
I just got a message from the developer. They have the audacity to claim the app is safe and secure, when it isn't.
The only concern they have is " there is no way to recover lost or stolen funds."
I don't care about the money. It's the security that is my concern. As mentioned before, all available security features are and we're active on my account. Nobody has even investigated to know what my issue is. At the end they blamed me?!?! "If you are not careful, then your wallet can be compromised." Trust me I take cyber security very serious. Useless team and app.
Buggy with nice interface and multiple coins support
I have been using MyEtherwallet for holding my eth and decided to consolidate my cryptos into a multicoin wallet. Took the plunge and installed TrustWallet. First everything worked fine for low frequency transactions of eth into the wallet. As the number of transactions for eth and other coins increased by many folds, the wallet could not keep up with the transactions history: many transactions that were recorded in the various blockchains were not shown in TrustWallet.
I upgraded the software to latest version and went through the suggested recovery steps: recreate the wallet from the seed words with the expectation that all transactions would be properly restored. Unfortunately this did not work and made things worst: many previously displayed transactions were missing in the restored wallets !
Contacted support but got some snarky answers telling me that I am an idiot to expect transactions from my wallet to be restored I have probably hit the jackpot with an incompetent tech support who did not care about solving problems. That was the turning point with using TrustWallet.
Anyway for people having the same issues and wondering how I solved my issue: I switched to Exodus wallet and imported all my wallets (reused the trust wallet seed words) and behold, all my wallets and transactions were fully restored! As a caveat, this will only work for coins supported by both wallet.
TrustWallet need to debug/test their own software and educate their technical support. If I cant fully recover wallets created by TrustWallet itself, then it is a software I do not trust to deal with my cryptos. Your mileage may vary but I have lost all ‘trust’ in this software.
Love this wallet
I'm no crypto expert; I feel like I don't know 1/100th of what your average crypto fan knows, but that could just be because I read articles by people qualified to write articles about crypto. Maybe there are a bunch of ordinary users like me who kind of just want to use crypto without getting all technical about it. If that describes you (and maybe even if it doesn't), you might want to give Trust Wallet a try. Trust Wallet makes stuff easy that is bewildering on other platforms. Staking, for example, is a breeze in Trust Wallet. The app's design is attractive and intuitive, and it's a hot wallet, which I personally prefer even though I know it's less secure than a cold wallet. I like to be able to look at my wallet and know what the current prices are and what my HODLings are worth, instead of having to look at my wallet and then look at an exchange and do math. And a hot wallet is still safer than keeping your crypto on an exchange, as I understand it.
Users in the United States can't use all of Trust Wallet's functionality, unfortunately: Trust Wallet allows you to buy crypto right in the wallet, which would be pretty awesome if I could do it, but I can't because, like some other wallets and exchanges, Trust Wallet restricts what users in the US can do. I'm not sure why that is, but it is.
But that's OK, too, because Trust Wallet enforces a minimum purchase of $100 worth of crypto, whereas I can buy any amount I want on my chosen exchange and send it to my Trust Wallet from there.
Sorry I'm not more articulate about all this crypto stuff; I have a LOT to learn yet. But Trust Wallet's ease of use is allowing me to learn by doing. Maybe it'll do the same for you...or just make your life easier. Either is helpful.
Unauthorized transfer of funds/ assets
Beware that your assets are not safe with this app. I put in a quite a bit of money just for it to disappear. I contacted customer support and got in contact with “Alan47”. Below is what was discussed.
“…after due assessment, thankfully;your tokens were moved to a contract address and not another wallet of which I would have told you to forget about it and move on as tokens sent out to other wallets are termed as lost because probably, someone else had access to your wallet.
Your tokens as said earlier were moved to a contract address which most times happens due to dust errors.
For recovery from a contract address, Trustwallet Community guidelines (AE709) states that 20% of initial Tokens to be recovered must be present in wallet before recover.
This warrants to $XXXX should be present in wallet before I file for recovery from contract.
Failure to do so, I'm sorry it would be regarded as loss and checking from the time of this transaction till now from the initial 24 hours maximum time for recovery, I guess you have about 2-3 hours left…”
After purchasing more USDT, my assets disappeared again and this is what was advised to me.
“… This is most definitely unusual as your wallet address is flagged and just released the tokens back to remote vendors.
Not to worry, I have linked a pioneer Tether address to your wallet, which we use in situations like this.
Kindly resend the deposit to the linked Tether pioneer address below…”
I would like to know:
1)why owners are not notified of what to do and time frame to restore their assets?
2) If they know something is up in my account then why not sent the pioneer tether first?
3) no knowledge of where my assets are
4) how are assets even moved without the consent or knowledge of the owners ?
This App is being used for scamming people
Although I downloaded this app from the App Store after contacting customer service I never received a reply. I was approached by a Facebook messenger/follower about receiving a grant. I asked who was providing the grant and then checked out the company. Fundwise is the company name and they do exist. The person who contacted me said to download the app and click already have a wallet and I was given a passphrase to use to open the wallet.
The wallet opened and it did have about $700. Of various tokens in it. Tokens were on the Ethurium blockchain. I sent enough gas from another wallet to be able to transfer the coins to that wallet. The transaction never showed up in the wallet. I checked the blockchain and the transaction was cleared. However it still didn’t show up in the wallet. I figured out it was a scam as the person who sent me the passphrase was asking me for $50. For processing fees. We negotiated it down to $10. The transaction went through PayPal and the name was different from the person I was speaking to. I pointed it out and she ignored me. Claiming it was really a grant. I decided to delete the app from my phone she contacted me through messenger FACETIME. Within minutes and I then knew she somehow fed me a tracker on the app probably through the passphrase. I have a screen recording of our entire interaction and will be forwarding it to the contact here in the App Store so this person can be shut down and if in fact the wallet is real not a clone. If Trust wallet doesn’t shut it down I will report it to the FBI cyber crime devision. Beware and don’t fall for a grant offer. It’s not real. It only cost $15. To discover the scam, money well spent! PayPal has been notified and received the recording and Facebook has been informed. My last step is to inform Trust wallet and get the scam shut down and hopefully the scammers will loose their tokens!
Limitations and pulling the rug out from users
Until my last update of trust wallet, I was using it on my iPhone with no problems, specifically using the DApps browser within it for some crypto trading. To my surprise, they pulled the rug out from under many users with the recent update by removing that browser and preventing us from accessing those assets. There is a pop-up that notifies users of this action, however Trust should have had this pop-up appear with every login over the previous month to give users ample time to plan accordingly. To instantly deny users access with zero warning is extremely unprofessional and discourteous to users. According to their community blog post on the subject, they have known about this for a while. Most users are not going to seek out blog posts, so this was an ineffective way at alerting users of the upcoming MAJOR change. A pop up after the fact is unacceptable whereas a pop-up ahead of time would have been the right move. The bottom line is they should have taken considerable steps to notify users of the upcoming action instead of stalling and only notifying users that it had been removed.
All is not lost, but as for the other options to access this browser, I would have to get an android phone or use an iPad or compatible Mac. The developers, however, have designed the Mac app to only be compatible with the M1 chip, which again is unacceptable and lacking in service that I would expect from a team of developers. They need to develop their app to work with the Intel i5 and i7 processors as well, because not every user is going to have a brand new machine. To me, this is the developers lacking in vision and not understanding who their customers are.
I use a 2017 MacBook Pro. There is nothing wrong with the machine, everything is up-to-date, and I’ve never had any limitations until now. Get with the program, and if you need consultation on how to provide adequate or better customer service, feel free to reach out.
No staking rewards given, no support, HIGHEST fees to send or swap
AVOID THIS WALLET AT ALL COSTS. Unless you enjoy being screwed royally.
•Good luck getting ahold of any type of customer support.
• They claim they dont charge or collect any fees. Yet you pay the highest transaction, gas and tip fees ever. Then your transactions just get cancelled and you lose your tip & transaction fees. Over and over.
•No other wallet or app that i use charges the insanely high rates for gas or transaction fees. I have tested exact amounts at the same time on different exchanges and platforms. EVERY SINGLE TIME Trust Wallet was SIGNIFICANTLY higher. Ive never had to pay miner “tips” before. But tryst Walle
• To date, i have NOT received a single staking bonus.
• They bait and switch. Promises they dont keep. Not a single coin they said you can stake and i staked has gotten a single coin reward deposited to my account.
• Customer Dont Support Department. Good luck getting any support. So far for me, non existent.
• Got under $20, $30, $40 in any asset? You wont be able to swap or send for less than $10.. like ever.. the higher amount you wish to send, good luck…
• i had 3k in my wallet forever because to do anything with it would cost me more than half my money. Not exaggerating here.
• I tried to swap $80 in SKL to ETH. They wanted $120 in ETH to perform this task. This was with their gas meter icon pinned on lowest setting.
• So far to date only 70% of my transactions out OR SWAPPED has been successful. After finally being tired of this nonsense i decided to just bite the bullet and make it a principle lesson.. i attempted to liquidate. Transactions did not go through. I lost those high fees and tips and still remain stuck.
Its sad really. When i first joined it was cool. Assets you couldn't have access to, suddenly became accessible to swap out assets i could transfer in.
I was so excited, my dumb*** thought i would need no other wallet. So i began to transfer assets..
Your money your choice. With the crypto game growing so rapidly these greedy scammer types are inevitable. We all need to do our part and report good or bad experiences.
No FEES
Come be dazzled by the simple blue and white interface with Send, Receive, and Buy buttons. NO FEES NO FEES they say. It’s on their app, their website, their FAQs, and every where your eyes can see.
New guy gets in and what do you do? Obviously BUY. What else is there to do?
Let me make it clear to you. You will not know what you are buying, it’s an eatimate, the math doesn’t add up and I am $2,000 in and about 15 transactions.
I have consistently bought $150 worth of BNB and only $130 worth of coins show up. No one knows where the $20 went in the “NO FEES” company.
Then you have to trade to the coin that you really wanted.
Again, they just give you estimates and bad math. You will be confused with 57 character contract lengths and verbiage about slippage and margin of errors.
By the time you actually buy the coin you wanted;
I ended up with $113.48 cents worth of coins. I started with $150 remembers! NO FEES NO FEES they say.
This wasn’t a one time error. I dug and dug and dug as far as I can. I did this over 10 times.
-You will NEVER get what you paid for.
-You will NEVER get an invoice as to what you bought? for how much? and where is the itimized list of what your money was spent on!
It’s like the old days when you shop with a site online because they are the cheapest. Then the checkout tells you it’s “$29.95” for shipping and handling! This is the same EXACT thing. Except they will not disclose the $29.95. They will just charge you after checkout and there is NO ONE to talk to. The charge just shows up on your account
Their site has no support. If you dig deep enough you will find this on the site “if you think the fees are too high, contact a third party provider” The support line will not respond. The third party provider “ Simplex” will not respond. Even the Trust Wallet community forum does not let you make a post unless you have been around for a while.
NO FEE NO FEES! If I was an Apple employee I would setup a meeting with an executive to shut them down. If I worked for the government I would get with someone in the commerce and banking business to investigate them. The amount of illegal, inappropriate, scamming, and deceiving actions they are doing is mind blowing.
Stop Giving Trust Bad Reviews about the Dapp Browser
(See My Edit Below!)
There was a clear warning that was put on the app’s dapp browser page that said Apple was forcing them to remove it in the next update!
Stop saying they “abruptly removed it”! They did not! Stop dissing trust and go diss apple instead! Or better yet, if you can choose your phone whenever you may upgrade, switch to something else!
(NOT GOOGLE PIXEL! I REPEAT: DO NOT USE A GOOGLE PIXEL OR ANY OTHER GOOGLE DEVICE, UNLESS YOU DON’T CARE ABOUT PRIVACY OR YOUR FREEDOM TO THINK FOR YOURSELF!)
Edit:
DISCLAIMER 1: This edit was made on October 5 btw; changes will surely happen at some point.

The MetaMask (Ethereum) wallet finally got out of beta for iOS, and that has a working DAPP/Web3 browser!
§
I’m not sure why trust wallet isn’t allowed to have one, but MetaMask is (or maybe MetaMask slipped it by...)?
Either way, Apple is known by devs for being outrageously controlling, (and demanding; look up the 30% tax apple has for any app purchases) and will presumably continue to be more-so in the progressive future; so unfair/selective treatment is a given for Apple products...
§
Trust and MetaMask can be used in sync if you choose to import your wallet by providing the seed phrase.
DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH (aka DYOR) on the risks associated with re-use of seed phrases! I do not accept any responsibility for your any of your decisions!
If you are not sure about the decision, it would likely suit you best to create a new wallet with a new seed phrase, and to use them separately by sending funds back and forth between them, when needed.
(Hardware wallets offer the best security, and you should NEVER re-use or share the seed you use with those. If you do/did share that seed, the security features any legitimate hardware-wallet solely-exists to offer, would fully and ENTIRELY be INVALIDATED(forfeited/lost) by this action.

Looks nice, decent coin and staking options…You are on your own though if there is an issue
First the positive: Clean layout, supports a large number of coins and has some nice high APR staking options.
Negative, and a substantial one: My Cosmos currency literally got “stuck” in the wallet, kept getting a strange error message when I tried to stake, withdraw, transfer, literally do anything. Had sufficient fee funds so not the issue. Literally a crypto wallet has two fundamental functions: Security and access to your funds. Failure on the second in my case.
Created a support “ticket” (which off the bat is fairly buried to even know you have this option). The ticket requires a fairly substantial amount of information, including transaction ID, app versions, crypto address, etc. I even uploaded a screenshot of the error message to include with the ticket.
First automated email response back: “Provide your transaction ID, crypto address, etc.” Huh? What’s the point of the ticket requirements? They also sent me basically like a link to a FAQ which was not helpful to my issue. Responded as such, no response.
A few days later currency still “locked” in the app/wallet and getting concerned because the market value changes are not being reflected either. E-mailed again, no response.
Finally took matters into my own hands and was able to retrieve the currency using a means which I do not recommend and not going go get into here- but what that tells me is that it was an issue with the app itself and not the blockchain information/transaction associated with the currency.
So that leads me to my final point: I don’t know who this wallet is suited for. More advanced users can likely find better staking options from a variety of sources and would be comfortable using a variety of native blockchain wallets for more control and smoother access. Less experienced users may like the clean look of the wallet but if something like what happened to me occurred to them- they are basically out of luck because customer support seems to be at worst non-existent, and at best burdensome enough to dissuade users from requesting support.
Also have an Exodus wallet. Had a similar issue (I know…maybe just unlucky) and the support response was phenomenal. If only they supported more coins, that would be my one stop hot wallet option.
Do better Trust Wallet, there’s the foundation for a potentially great product here.
Avoid using Moonpay in the Trust app! Also add browser back!
Why in the world did Trust Wallet even add Moonpay? Second time they took their sweet time to buy BNB. Over 3 hours, still waiting. Then they tell u the message after u buy it that it can take up hours. What? Such a scam, basically they wait to see if price drops a lot to make more money while still charging u, meanwhile you could lose an opportunity because of the wait. I contact them and they said no refund and that they’ll get to my order as soon as possible… what? Use Simplex, seems automated and get u BNB 1000x faster like in a minute. Trust should remove Moonpay. Your purchase is not automated with them. Also... 1 star on Trust for not putting dApps back, and don’t be putting some secret link to enable it either. Fix it, get it done, put it back! The other apps have them and approved by Apple! Trust’s answer: you can still use WalletConnect…. Don’t you read the comments? We know that, but it gives nothing but errors due to storage caches or whatever. No good after first try, unless u go through loops to get it back working for just another try. This problem didn’t happen when browser was integrated. I honestly don’t understand why so much excuses when other apps have no problem upgrading while having browser to get to these dApps. So how is it possible that “Apple” restrict this. It’s just a browser. It’s one of these reason why many use your app. Update: To top things off, Moonpay charged me again 2 days later with “international” fee. Keep in mind they charge you already at the time of purchase, so this is another fee on top of the other one.
Update 2: Again, you’re repeating the same thing. That’s not the best solution to your problem. We know you can use Wallet Connect, we know! But IT HAS ISSUES! Issues it never had when browser was integrated in your app. Such as caching issues. It will work once, but after that it fails unless u empty any caches or possibly restart your phone… how is that useful? Even if u use browsers on PC you still run into these issues. Don’t matter if browser or site is at fault, the fact is that this didn’t happen when browser was running in app. Apple is NOT restricting u guys to not have an browser in your app. Which one of your devs is telling u this. Your not the one creating the dApps, it was a browser to get to the dApps and theirs nothing wrong with that. It’s why MetaMask have done many updates and still gets approved! Because it’s just a browser. Why would Apple provide SDK including it if it was restricted?!
Trust Complaints 7
Very NOT Pleased
UPDATED 12/22
Very disappointed. All of my ethereum and erc tokens are missing from my wallet. Not sure what happened, but restored my wallet and it is empty. $1000s of missing tokens.
DEAR DEVELOPERS: please release an IOTA and a Monero wallet(s). DESPERATELY NEEDED. if y’all do as fine a job as you have on the Trust wallet, I have no doubt I’d be happy to use those wallets too.
This was my first crypto currency wallet, and I’ve been very happy with it.
It does a great job of updating your USD value and is ERC20 compatible. So, this one wallet can carry a large number of tokens without the need for multiple wallets.
One issue I do have is that it will sometimes reopen when trying to close it out.

Low security STAY AWAY
Security level is the worst amongst other wallets I used. Just search “stolen funds from trust wallet” and see what you get. My funds were stolen 13 minutes after I deposited my funds. $1500 worth of coins were sent out while I’m still logged on. How would you allow 2 devices from 2 distant places to be on. I never shared my phrase key. I don’t even have it saved on any electronic device. Only on a physical piece of paper. I use a passcode to access my so called “trust” wallet and require “transaction signing” for each transaction. Yet an unauthorized transaction took place in my wallet. Support team didn’t even bother to investigate the ticket. They automatically replied. Sorry we cannot help you. This is nonsense. A class action needs to be taken

Simplex - 3rd party provider for crypto purchases
This is a FRAUD ALERT message regarding my attempt to purchase crypto via the Trust Wallet app, and Simplex. I was discouraged from using my credit card for this purchase due to associated cash advance fees. When I attempted to use my debit card, I received an error message stating,“The purchase you are attempting requires additional verification. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please contact Bank of America ATM/debit card Customer protection at 877.242.6550.” When I called the number, a live person asked for me to give my complete debit card number. She could not verify my account any other way. This is quite unusual! Bank of America has never asked for my card number in full, over the telephone. When I look up this telephone number online, it is listed as an unsafe number, fraudulent, a scam.

This app is a scam
My BankSocial finally gained and I decided to trade it out to my USD Coin. After several attempts at trading through UniSwap the trade finally happened. THEN after I received the “Pending” notification (that sat there for over an hour) the transaction said my “Transfer” to another wallet was complete. What? I never made a transfer to another wallet!
This was the only time I made thousands of dollars on a crypto in Trust Wallet and it mysteriously disappeared.
By the way, I contacted Trust Wallet support many times and their comment was and still is “If you sent your funds to a wrong address, there is no way for us to assist.
Transactions cannot be reversed or cancelled once it is confirmed.”
I didn’t make a transfer to a wallet. I exchanged a crypto to another crypto in my same wallet.
This app/software is way to sus!

Abandoned - CUSTOMER SERVICE DOESNT EXIST (literally)

This company doesn’t care
This is costing me over $1300 at the time of this post
Unacceptable
I will report to FTC if unaddressed.
Will not let this go
UPDATE: 6 days later no contact from company in response to this. Verified wallet address and transaction details on etherscan so NOT USER ERROR I will not drop this Sent MATIC from coinbase to trust 2 days later, still haven’t received No customer service support / response I am experienced with crypto transactions, 100% positive this is not an error on my end Still waiting to resolve… Apple supported apps should be held accountable especially fintech ones

Security is optional
Hackers accessed the Trust wallet app on my iPhone, used Uniswap to convert my assets to ether then transferred them to their address.
The wallet gave no sign or alert of such intrusive access and allowed the hackers to do whatever they want without resistance. The claim that the Trust wallet “Protects all online interactions through the app’s military-grade encryption” and “Keep your crypto safe from hackers & scammers” are inaccurate and deceptive. Trust wallet clearly has little or no safety measures compared to any exchange. No sophisticated passwords required; only an OPTIONAL humble 6-digit code to unlock the wallet and do any transaction. The links to the wild unsafe decentralized applications (DApps) from the wallet were not controlled by any authentication or safety measures. It was wise, though late, that Apple completely removed the DApp browser from Trust Wallet.
The email response I got from the Trust wallet was an automated brief email copying of a webpage about securing the wallet.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Do not download is scam
I heard about this app in a few videos and thought I could give a try. Moved $100 in USDC to it. Then when I tried to move it to another wallet or platform it won’t allow me to send it anywhere else. It says the network fee is 42.02 which I get it, I just need to get as much money out of it as possible. So instead I would write 57.98 (or absolutely any lower amount just to see if at least allows me to get most of my money back from it) to be able to cover the fees and but no. There’s no way for me to get my money back. Why a wallet would allow you to send any amount in but won’t let you send it anywhere else? It doesn’t make any sense. It says “you don’t have enough Ethereum(ETH) to cover the network fees” but as I said there’s no amount that can allow me to pay for those fees and instead will ask to buy more ethereum. And the minimum amount I can buy is $50... of course you wont let me get my $100 back but will ask me to buy more? Is so frustrating the fees and the not been able to get my money out of that account.
