NO REAL/PROGRESSIVE CUSTOMER SUPPORT
NO REAL/PROGRESSIVE CUSTOMER SUPPORT.The company just wants people to join for the insurance but would not provide any support for account related inquiry or about benefits. I have tried reaching out to them at least four time with just one single question. Twice they just resolved the issue without any contacting me. They did not even acknowledge my initial application submission for months and did not approve the application for additional month. By the time, The deadline for which I'd gotten this insurance was passed and it was useless for me.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY...THEY WILL NOT PAY UP...I have 2 policies with this company...also 2 legitimate claims...was told by one rep. that I am supposed to recieve $$ , then claim is denied...now they are "reviewing" it again and requesting all documentation be sent to them ...AGAIN. It took them 5 minutes to deny my claim...now over 5 months to review the same information they had from day 1. Worthless, lying company... I don't want to give it any stars...but you have to click at least one in order to leave your comment... THIS COMPANY IS A CON
Trustmark accident only paid the part of my husband claim they keep stalling and asking for more stuff every time I turn in what they say they need to release our claim money then they need something else because he was in the hospital for 12 days and they dont want to pay the hospital stay with is $2250 or the $500 a day its okay for them to pay the little stuff but when it comes to the big stuff they keep stalling even after sending them everything they say they need.
I have never had a worse experience with health insurance in my life
I have never had a worse experience with health insurance in my life. The patient is expected to do all of the leg work toward getting a claim paid. I have resorted to paying out of pocket and submitting claims to Trustmark myself, in hopes of being reimbursed. I currently have a nearly $2,000 *** that is about to be sent to collections. It is for an IUD which was supposed to be covered at 100% per the *** Act. I have made numerous phone calls to AMPS, Trustmark, and my healthcare provider to try to get this resolved. I'm going to end up having to pay this *** myself, which I think was their plan from the beginning.
FAKE NEWS.I have claims that haven't been paid from 3/4. It is now 3/23/2022.Ridiculous. This place is such a joke, it's not even funny. I'd honestly be better off being a cash pay patient at this point. Is this even a legit insurance? Is this a Ponzi Scheme? Why are me and my fellow co-workers paying this absurd amount, and IT IS COVERING NOTHING.10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. DO NOT USE THIS INSURACE. I REPEAT, DO NOT USE THIS INSURANCE.
Canceled Policies almost one year ago and this company continues to submit policies to my employer & receive payments from my pay check. They refuse to talk no for an answer. I am entitled to a claim and my money back, but I did not file the claim yet.
I have been trying for weeks to get a claims representative to call me back on a life insurance claim status. I called customer service several times and spoke with them. they sent messages to the claims representative to contact me. Still no contact. As a grieving parent we should not have to be given the run around and go through additional stress to get responses from the company. We are already going through a lot of stress and the lack of response and hassle to keep contacting the company is uncalled for. I'm giving 2 stars because the customer service representatives i spoke with were very nice and tried to resolve the concern.
This business is a complete joke. Taking my money every payday for premiums and can't even get my surgical approval completed. I am a nurse that cannot walk on my left leg due to the serious pain. My surgeon has had me on the schedule for 5 weeks to replace my knee and they have been told twice by Trustmark that my paperwork is being "reviewed" for my surgery but yet when I called Trustmark myself, today, they tell me that they "do not have anything" from my doctor. It is coming down to the wire as my surgery is on 4/11/2022 but now, I am afraid it will be postponed. It is terrible! I was told that Trustmark would say that they did not have anything from my doctor and sure enough, that is exactly what they said. My fellow co-workers have told me of their surgeries being cancelled/postponed because of this. I thought maybe they were exaggerating but I now know, they are telling the truth! Pitiful, just pitiful.

Im try to resolved my claim and I keep getting the run arounds my claim was filed on Dec 5 th I had a accident on Dec 2 Bd I was paid for that then I had a surgery on the 6 th of Dec so I never got paid for the the short term disability u take 135$ out of my check every two weeks for this service that i cannot seem to received . Ive been sent to several I mean several people no respond or your claim lasped to we have no knowledge of this to Ill send u back to claims to send me to underwriter to we resolved it give us 3/5 business days well its been a month no resolved yet . Im confused but if u send my money back u took back out of my check that should resolved my bills issues . Because they never stop to the last person I was on hold to too send me too someone voicemail to b push to the side again . I have all documents in and my check stubs with proof of u taking money out my check . To get the same I dnt know whats going on answer to oh give us a couple of days to resolved it *** and u continue to take from my payroll check over and over again .
Trustmark. I have been trying to cancel my long term insurance for a month. I cannot get help on the phone. I've been put on hold for an hour, then they disconnect me. When I finally did talk to someone, they said I was not in the system. I faxed the form for cancelation, they ignored me. I put a stop-hold at my bank but they just use another shell company to withdraw my money. My next move is to cancel my bank acct which I've had for over 30 years.
They set up an account without mine or my husband's knowledge. They refused to speak to me on the phone. They only wanted to speak to the male of the household even though my name was on the account. The agent said that it was tied to my husband's employer, but when my husband later called they said it was because he wasn't tied to any employer. They lie through their teeth and set up accounts without knowledge and then *** you an arm and a leg.
Unbelievable experience that is still unresolved. From a practitioner's point of view, I would steer clear of any association with Trustmark. No one is able to answer questions. You are on hold for an excessive amount of time, and all the representatives pass you off to other employees.
I would give less stars if i could
I would give less stars if i could. I signed my wife and I up for life insurance with a long term care rider because our state requires it. Once i got the policy, i noticed she was not on it. i called and it was too late to add her. So even though i filled out the paperwork for her they will not put her on the policy because open enrollment is over. I pointed out that my premium is twice what it should be for one person, so that should be a dead give away. They still refused to add her and were still going to charge he double amount. Needless to say, policy was cancelled and I told them what I think of them. DO NOT USE THESE CROOKS!
DO NOT place your health insurance coverage with this carrier
DO NOT place your health insurance coverage with this carrier. I have provided group health coverage for my employees through Trustmark for the past three years and the experience that we have had from beginning to end has been horrible. We are moving our coverage as of 12/1. Claim payment delays like you can't imagine. One of my employess is being threatened by a collections agency because of outstanding bills and all that Trustmark can say is, "we are analyzing the bills, we are having difficulty negotiating with the hospital." Again I repeat, DO NOT purchase health insurance from Trustmark. You will be extremely disappointed by the service you receive. Believe me, this is an honest and accurate review of this health insurance carrier.
Horrible company to get a claim reviewed let alone paid out!
Horrible company to get a claim reviewed let alone paid out! Lots of loop holes in their Accident Policy to benefit them and not payout. My husband lost two of his fingers to a table saw. He is a police officer. Trustmark will not pay out for the loss due to not loosing his fingers all the way to the hand. His fingers are no longer functional-able due to what is left. He may never return to his job. It also took six email attempts and one fax from our Doctor's office before they even said they received the claim application. The forms to fill out for a claim are overly lengthy and require additional documentation of xrays, operational reports, proof of ambulance transport, and bills that typically are not processed right away. I am disappointed and regret all of the money I have paid into this company.

We have been insured by StarMark/Trustmark for several years
We have been insured by StarMark/Trustmark for several years. We will hopefully be switching to a new company after we were denied coverage for a MEDICAL issue concerning my daughter's eyes (she has three defects with her eyes that have caused learning disabilities among other things). Because the treatment for her eyes is "therapy" as opposed to surgery - Trustmark won't cover it. It's a $5,000+ outpatient treatment. We've appealed and been denied for the second time. Apparently they would much rather have her undergo surgery which would cost MUCH more than to help us pay the $5,000. This therapy would improve not only her learning capabilities, but also her reflex time, ability to properly absorb light, and ability to play sports and much more. With the denial for coverage I'm convince Starmark/Trustmark does not exemplify good decision making nor strong family values. I would highly encourage companies searching for good coverage to go elsewhere!
I have been with this bank for years and they are nothing less than terrible
I have been with this bank for years and they are nothing less than terrible. Recently a card was ordered on my behalf by the bank because they received word about possible fraudulent activity. I have checked my transactions and see nothing that would be considered fraudulent. When I asked about it and said I did not request this, the customer service representative *** became really rude and short. When I asked if I could close my account with them, she told me "You need to have another Trustmark account to close this one" which I said no that doesn't seem right I don't have to have one with you at all. She then got even more upset and short. This bank has been nothing short of an inconvenience and they are some of the worst representatives I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. I recommend to anyone who has an account with them to end it very soon as they do not care about you at all. Also when I told her that I was not in town to get the new card ,that I didn't request, she basically said tough luck there's nothing we can do.

No stars for this company
No stars for this company. I have been waiting on my second dbl for 11 days, and called this company everyday about the status of the check. I was told by a manager, the check was sent, and once it goes in the mail, there is nothing he can do about it. I called and left a message for him, (***) yesterday 10/4 stating, the check was not delivered, please cancel that check and issue me a new one. I get a call from my Rep, stating, she will cancel that check and issue me a check from 9/23 and 10/8 and have it sent in the overnight mail. REALLY! So, I just did their job! Let's see if I receive the checks tomorrow. I would check with other companies before taking out dbl insurance with Trustmark. The customer service reps are nasty, my Rep had no idea how much my policy was for, it has been a nightmare. I will be canceling this insurance once I go back to work.I was so disgusted with the way I was being treated, I found the CEO'S phone number, left him a message, it's been over 24 hours no return phone call thus far. No professionalism at all in this company.
I was compelled to purchase Long-Term Care by my union's sole provider
I was compelled to purchase Long-Term Care by my union's sole provider. I couldn't find an alternative due to my age. My union found Trustmark, offering a flat rate for all members for compliance. Dealing with Trustmark is dreadful. Receiving their paperwork makes me cringe. The online account is useless; it doesn't process payments. Monthly statements tease about online payment, but omit that a unique code is needed. Missing the code means no payment. I've wasted countless hours emailing and calling just to make a payment. I detest mailing checks. Being forced into coverage I'm too young for is bad enough, then there's the hassle and postage for each statement. I've never struggled so much with a payment, especially for unwanted service. I'll never recommend Trustmark, not even to my worst enemies.

They are the absolute worst at customer service
They are the absolute worst at customer service. Instead of trying to help, they'll say, "well, I don't know. I don't know what else to do." They're customer service is worse that Comcast and that's saying a lot. They don't care about their customers and it's evident whenever you have to call them. Even their claims website is contrary. I paid my policy premiums and they're still saying I owe them almost $500. When I called to speak with someone, she says, "Well, I don't see it so I don't know what you're talking about." I tried to explain to the lady what was going on and she absolutely refused to listen! Today was my last straw when I called to get access to the website and was told to clear my cookies and close the browser. Easy peasy, right? Nope, I did everything she said and the website still didn't work. I told her this and her response was, "Well, that's what you're supposed to do. I don't know what else to say." I asked for someone else, she put me on hold and gave me something about maybe deleting data from farther back. Finally, I just asked to get the paperwork through email (which is a joke) and hung up the phone. It's ridiculous that I can't access my claims online without deleting all of my browsing data. What kind of website is this? Everything about this company is a sham. I absolutely hate this company and I can't wait to be rid of them and all of their crap. They are con artists and I just want to be done with them.

This is actual correspondence that I typed up and sent to my HR coordinator at work:I have been extremely frustrated with this situation for almost a month of back and forth. Trustmark keeps telling me to call the provider and the provider keeps telling me to call Trustmark. This is in reference to service date REDACTED. My provider: REDACTED - Dr. REDACTED is in Cigna's network. He shows up as a provider on Cigna's website and their office assured me that they fully participated in Cigna's network. I have met my $500 deductible (I actually overpaid it by $16) in accordance with my employers HRA. Trustmark keeps flagging an alleged "out of network" expense of $144 and some cents. This amount should be covered and both Trustmark and the provider need to have communication with each other instead of using me as third party communication. The provider Dr. REDACTED is in network, he is listed as the supervisor on the billing, and his P.A. REDACTED who appears on the billing has nothing to do with the provider information. Please try to get this cleared up quickly, as I am scheduled to have a procedure with this provider next week on REDACTED and would have to cancel it if either you or the provider cannot communicate to update his network information. The last I spoke with the provider was about a week ago and they said they would contact Trustmark. I do not know if they did this and I would like to be kept updated. I have been in need of the services of a Urologist due to blood being found in my urine almost a year ago. Due to lack of effective communication, I have still not received the medical care that I need. I hope I do not have to cancel next weeks procedure; which would yet again post pone me finding out if there is something wrong with me which needs to be treated. UPDATE: No communication occurred and I ended up paying that $144 just to end the headache... I will never get it back either... Trustmark refused to communicate and lied about it.

Trustmark is a disguised subcontractor employed by PSERS, unfortunately completely unsupervised, and unaccountable as a departmental "shell"
Trustmark is a disguised subcontractor employed by PSERS, unfortunately completely unsupervised, and unaccountable as a departmental "shell" which is known as Health Options Plan or HOP (retiree insurance group) in ***., sometimes known as CoreSource from IL)It has required four months to make all the hidden connections from HOP to TRustmark (CoreSource) to PSERS. None of the above publish names or direct phone numbers for any person or department. After Trustmark false statements to me and their repeated "pass the buck" phone contacts from me, I began to communicate solely in writing. I have written copies of all correspondence below.Trustmark incompetence involved four consecutive Process errors and repeated denial of their own process flaws in simply allowing retirees to apply for insurance coverage *** delaying my coverage approximately six weeks. PSERS refused to accept accountability or to intervene with terrible process errors and verbal abuse of HOP customer (me) by *** (CoreSource) subcontractor When Trustmark/CoreSource errors in their Process were finally acknowledged (by PSERS, NOT by Trustmark), the next round of errors began with more incompetence and Trustmark ignorance of Trustmark's own system of nonexistent proof of insurance for retiree to share with providers -- missing or no insurance cards. Errors on proof of coverage delayed another month coverage for medical supplement, and vision insurance (now corrected after two months). Both dental and prescription insurance have continuing errors to this date (four months), such that my dentist's shock (at Trustmark's camouflage and denial) and with unusual provider patience and compassion are trying to help me gain proof of dental coverage for me.Finally, now after four months of ignorance and errors, it is clear that Trustmark is invoking illegal pricing by "bait and switch" tactic, which is published, *** promise of unchanging (lifetime) rates for Trustmark insurance coverage, in combination of a personalized statement of published rates for me (personally) which HOP refuses to honor. HOP (TRustmark/CoreSource) has forced me to buy (with threats of cancellation to *** Part D) their insurance at at a higher rate than my published, personalized (lifetime) rate, which Trustmark/CoreSource/HOP they claim that they will lower next year . . . This switch is in spite of the fact that I am younger (therefore less costly to insure) than their actuarial rate tables, in spite of the fact that I received "personalized" rates and in spite of the fact that HOP (Trustmark/CoreSource) promises stable rates for lifetime in their glossy marketing materials.Trustmark (subcontractor) is enmeshed in incompetence and in Process flaws and logistical errors, unaccountable to retiree customers, unaccountable to PSERS, anonymous to all by name and address, working through a shell called "HOP" in ***, *** and using illegal bait and switch marketing.

I have emailed this company several times with questions regarding my policy. I never hear back. No support. Not poor support, none, zero, nothing. No response. Endless hold times. Why am I paying this company? I tried to add a beneficiary. I filled out the form and emailed it. Weeks go by nothing. I try again and again. No response. I reported them to the states insurance commissioner's office.

In October, I purchased Trustmark LTC insurance for myself and my husband since this is a recommended insurance provider by my employer.I changed my mind in November and called Ttrustmark to cancel my policy during the trail period. I was told on the call that I would get refund and there wouldnt be any further chargers going forward. However, I was still charged for the policy in the following two months. In January, I received a mail saying that Trustmark will stop charging me after Jan 3th. Why is there a delay in cancellation?

I lost my job Dec 3 2021 and called Trustmark December 6 to cancel my insurance required by my employer. I was told I would be charged for December because they were so far out on canceling in Washington but I would get a refund. In January they hit my bank account twice and bounced my account. I had to close the account to stop them from continuing to take money for a canceled service. I want my premium for Dec and January returned via check. I am not giving them further access to steal from me.

During the month of October, which is open enrollment for school systems, a representative from Trustmark presented information to the employees about $100,000 Guaranteed Life Insurance policies. They stated that if we wanted more information, and to meet one-on-one to note that on our paperwork and someone would be in contact; so I indicated my interest in getting more information. The rest of the month passed without any follow-up from the company.
On December 15, I unexpectedly received a life insurance policy in the mail from Trustmark. It claimed that I had electronically signed for this policy on November 17, with the agent being Terry Moore. However, I did not authorize this. I immediately contacted the company to explain the situation and requested that the policy be cancelled. The Customer Care Representative processed my request and assured me that I would receive a cancellation confirmation by mail.
On January 19, I received the cancellation confirmation letter, which stated that the policy was cancelled effective January 1. Later in January, I noticed a discrepancy in my paycheck but was unable to determine the cause without my paystub. On February 11, Trustmark sent me a refund check for one month's premium.
Today, on February 26, after reviewing my January and February paystubs, I discovered that policy premiums had been deducted from my paychecks, despite the policy being cancelled as of January 1. I contacted the Customer Care line to explain the situation. It was then revealed to me that while one policy had been cancelled, there was a second active policy in my name. This was the first I had heard of a second policy, as there had been no mention of it during my call on December 15, nor had I received any policy information for a second policy. The representative agreed to request the cancellation of the second policy but abruptly ended the call, eager to explain the events of October rather than address my current concerns.

After my bank account was hacked I contacted the company with my updated banking information in a timely manner
After my bank account was hacked I contacted the company with my updated banking information in a timely manner. They were late taking my automatic payment out of my account by 5 days. Now they took the monthly payment out of my account not 1, not 2, not 3, BUT 4 times. Who knows how many more withdrawals will come? Attempts to contact the company but only to receive attitude from agents, lies about late payments ( HOW WHEN IM AUTOMATIC MONTHLY WITHDRAWALS), and excuses about issuing refunds. A manager needs to call me ASAP and discuss the problem, why it is occurring and what the resolution will be. Thank you.

The agent that sold us this policy is moving to a new company due to Trustmark's payment issues.
The agent that sold us this policy mentioned she was moving to a new company because Trustmark wasn't paying claims. She informed me of canceling our Trustmark policy for Assurity, with payments via payroll. I was assured of receiving mail confirmation. My wife, in charge of bills, received a notice from Trustmark. Mistaking it for the new policy, she made payments of $376.74 twice. Since Assurity deductions were also occurring, we were overcharged. We were told the Trustmark policy was canceled, so we're seeking a refund for the $753.48 paid on those dates.

I bought a life insurance policy from Trustmark in September
I bought a life insurance policy from Trustmark in September . Since early November , I have attempted to contact the company several times by phone and submitting requests on their website. No one ever answers the phone, so I just wait on hold until I can't wait any longer or I get a message saying they are closed and I need to call back later. As I'm writing this, I've been on hold with them for over 30 minutes already. When I submit requests for contact on their website, I get an automated message saying they will contact me soon, but they never do. I have verified that they have my correct contact information and they have mailed me paperwork, so I know they have my address. Still absolutely no customer service for over 45 days. At this point, I just want to cancel my policy, but the only way to do this is by speaking with someone in customer service.

I opened an long term care insurance(JSC7WY) policy with Trustmark around Sep-Oct 2021 and then I realized that my union took care of it - I did not need any private insurance. Ever since Ive been trying to contact Trustmark and cancel my policy, but all my attempts were unsuccessful. They did not respond to my emails, and it was literally impossible to contact them on the phone. They seem to be one of those companies that once they get you and establish that monthy automatic payment ($80.32 in my case) it becomes virtually impossible to contact them and cancel. I also tried to have my bank put a stop to these automatic payments - for some reason it did not happen and payments were going out unabated, including Jan 2022. I am asking not only to cancel my policy, but to refund the payments they took out after I emailed them to stop after the first month. They ignored my email and kept charging me every month against my will. I am specifically asking for two months refund $160.64 at a minimum.

I have a complaint about Trustmark, the vendor selected by my employer to provide Long *** in WA
I have a complaint about Trustmark, the vendor selected by my employer to provide Long *** in WA. After signing up I changed my mind and I cancelled my coverage with them on the 11th of October. I checked back a couple of weeks later when I didn't hear anything and I found my account still showed active. I contacted Trustmark by every means available and I was told they were running behind their usual 15-day processing timeline and that they'd refund any extra premiums charged. At that point I was convinced I knew what was going to happen. They were going to sit on my request until they had another premium and then, maybe, process my cancellation. That's exactly what happened. I finally got a cancellation confirmation email from Trustmark on 13-Nov, over a month after I contacted them to cancel my policy. And then, 3 days after that, they charged me another month of premium. There is no valid excuse for this behavior, I consider it to be theft. My bank account is now over $360 overdrawn due to the payment they took over a month after I cancelled. They have said they will refund the premium but I think they are doing that as slowly as possible for the same reason I think they sat on my request until they had taken another premium, in order to keep my money as long as possible - they took my payment electronically and now they'll mail a refund check to me eventually.

I am writing to report Trustmark for continual mischarges, refusal to provide us with necessary documents to make changes to our policy, and for finally effectively failing to cancel our policy. On October 1, I signed up for Trustmarks *** with a long-term care benefit rider. My account number is ***, Policy Number: *** at $64.55 a month. Soon after beginning the policy, we decided to make changes to the policy which would continue our business with them, but lower our coverage amount and subsequent monthly payment to around 20 dollars a month. We could not make those changes online, so we called the company and were informed that these changes would need to be in writing. We would be mailed the forms and would need to mail them back. At this point, we were happy to do so and understood this company policy. Another month passed and no documents were received by the company. We called once again in November to ask that they mail us the forms. They charged us again for the 65 dollar policy (which we had not been given the chance to change), and we waited for their mail. In December, no mailer had been given. We called, and now- 2 months later- advised that we would cancel our policy with them and sign up with another company who would work with us more effectively. The agent on the phone advised us that they could cancel the policy by phone, without writing, and would mail our cancelation verification. We canceled the policy December 15th, and were told we would receive a pro-rated refund for the 16th-31st. We were told it would take weeks to process, but to check our bank account end of January-beginning of February for our refund. It is now January 19th. No cancelation mailer has arrived and we have been charged another $65 for a policy we have tried to change twice and cancel once. I would like to make clear- Trustmark provides no self-serve option for canceling or amending policies for their cus

Service Type: Residential Service Account Reached Ext: Day Phone: Impacted Phone: Accept Agreement: 1. In October, open enrollment month for school systems, Trustmark informed employees about $100,000 life insurance policies. Interested in more details, I requested a follow-up. No contact was made post-meeting. On December 15, a policy arrived by mail, claiming my e-signature from November 17, with agent Terry Moore. I did not consent to this. I called to cancel the policy; a representative processed my request, promising a confirmation by mail. On January 19, I received confirmation of cancellation effective January 1. Later, my paycheck seemed short, but without a paystub, I couldn't confirm the discrepancy. On February 11, I got a refund for one month's premium. After obtaining my January and February paystubs, I discovered premiums were deducted despite the policy's cancellation. Contacting Customer Care, I learned of a second active policy under my name, unmentioned in my December call. The agent agreed to cancel the second policy but abruptly ended the call, attempting to recount the October events instead of addressing the issue. I have never had a worse experience with health insurance in my life. The patient is expected to do all of the leg work toward getting a claim paid. I have resorted to paying out of pocket and submitting claims to Trustmark myself, in hopes of being reimbursed. I currently have a nearly $2,000 bill that is about to be sent to collections. It is for an IUD which was supposed to be covered at 100% per the healthcare policy. I have made numerous phone calls to AMPS, Trustmark, and my healthcare provider to try to get this resolved. I'm going to end up having to pay this bill myself, which I think was their plan from the beginning.
I don't know why Trustmark has so many bad reviews, but I've had great experiences with customer service. If there is a wait time, then it's not long (definitely less than 10 minutes). I've called several times, and each time I spoke with someone very patient and sweet. They were understanding and helpful. It's not Trustmark's fault if the provider doesn't actually use the information on the insurance card you provide.
My company now has this plan - I have to pay the first $5,000 out of pocket!WTF.
Horrible experience. Consistently saying we are out of network and denying claims. We have used the same pediatrician for years who is definitely in network. Almost every time, we have to fight.
