Tshepo Themba Private Hospital review: Negligence

2023/06/29 At 16:00 on Thursday, I went to see my mother in the surgical ward of the Tshepo Themba Hospital. She was in a bad condition when I arrived. As a result of being bedridden, my mother requires assistance when using the restroom. When we arrived, she had already messed up, so I had to contact the nurse for assistance. I questioned why she wasn't helped and was informed that they were understaffed. Due to a lack of employees, not only my mother but also her neighbor required assistance. We had to ask for help for a quarter of the visiting hour, and when we did, we had to wait a while for the nurse to arrive. Due to this, we had only around 20 minutes to spend with her. She was also doing well in the ICU. She is not receiving the amount of care we expect her to recieve as she is a private Hospital.
