The company and product are TERRIBLE - advertised a free trial with no obligations and guarantees galore - then you find $76 charge on your credit card MONTHLY. Not to mention I got loads of SPAM directly following the online purchase so I'm certain they sold my information. As for the product - it has a terrible taste, and gave me insomnia, shakiness and made me feel sick. I would normally never buy something like this online but I must have had a moment of weakness.
Don't fall for this very shady deal.
I tried this product at a kiosk at a mall in Arizona. The kiosk was selling this product but under a different name. Beware of online and retail name variations Ultra green tea, ultra grean tea hp and countless of other name variations. At the kiosk they open up a bottle of water, pour this stuff in it, shake it up and voila! your weight loss miracle cure. NOT. My friend was with me and she found the product "kinda nasty tasting" but "tolerable." I immediately felt nauseated. I later threw this stuff up. At the mall, they were hawking this junk for $60 for a month's supply. Another company has a multi-level marketing opportunity worldwide for this green tea scam. I have seen pop up ads all over the internet for differemnt variations of this scam. I've never ordered it but have met different people who have tried the free weight loss samples they have given out. Here is the feedback I've gotten. Doesn't mix well with water-gritty. Doesn't mix well with juice-chemical after taste for an "all natural" product.
I hsve also seen all the ads for the wuyi tea. Don't order it through the scam sites. By the way, this very web page complaintsboard.com numerous google ads by the ultra lean green scam and the wu yi scam. Now, many of you like green tea (like I do) and want its health benefits. Go to the dollar store. They have many green teas the brew well and take an appetite edge off. Aching to try the wu yi tea. Go to a local health store or a tea store and ask for the ORGANIC wu yi whole tea. it is a bit pricy $20-30 a pound but you probably get a lot more than the scam wu yi sites. For my hot grean tea fix i like a 99 cents store "cali girl" green tea. i think you get 10 bags for a buck. for my sweet tooth grean tea fix i like the starbucks green tea frapuccino (ask for no sugar versions). $3.50 but a treat. for my iced green tea fix i buy "trader joe's" green tea bags $2.00 for 15 bags nk. for my wu yi fix i also buy my organic wu yi on ebay from trusted sellers. go to ebay.com search "organic wu yi" and contact sellers with good feedback. it might be $20-$40 a pound but a pound will last you 4 months. you can "rebrew" the tea leaves to get an extra cup. as for diets, i like the "get up and move your ###" diet. i haven't wrote a book on it. YET! However, I'll give you a hint "Get up and move your butt!" I try to eat well for 6 days a week and on day 7 I don't go "hog wild" but I have two desserts, a full breakfast and a buffet lunch/brunch. Okay--not in that order lol. I have lost 30 pounds in a year with this approach--not thirty pounds in thirty days. thirty pounds in a year but i have kept it off and i have 15 pounds to go. yes, green tea (not ultra green tea, of course) is a tool but not a cure. okay if you are still tempted to try this "green tea scam, " use a prepaid visa card that you can buy at many retail outlets. the westcor malls here in Phoenix AZ sell them in any amount for a service charge of $2. Get a card in the amount of $10--that way when this scam outfit charges you $4.95-9.95, depending on what "trial offer" you fall for, they'll get no more money than that out of you. If you want to use your own credit card, call your cc company and get a "virtual, disposable, one-use card number" and the company cannot charge you recurrently. Use this approach for any trial offer you come across or if "you sniff a scam" but your desperation to lose weight presses you to go ahead and order the stuff. I hope it doesn't make you throw up. I have nothing against this company; after all, i just sampled their product and did not do a trial ripoff--uh, I mean order. What bugs me is that a lot of people I know ask me what I think of this ultra grean tea stuff advertised all over the internet. I thought instead of telling them, I could just direct them to this great site. I also like dietsinreview.com To all of you struggling to lose weight, keep trying. It's harder to lose weight and even harder to maintain the weight loss but keep your spirits up and get an online weight loss buddy at yahoogroups.com "search weight loss and your state." Have you guys always wondered what it would be like to see yourself if you lost 10, 20, 50, 100 pounds? Go to weightview.com and enter your photo and you will receive a digital photo of yourself at your weight loss goal. Print out several copies of your "after" self and put them on your screensaver, your mirrors and especially the fridge! Want to maintain your weightloss, exercise everyday (i try to do 10-30 minutes a day on the Wii fit--the $350 investment I made for the Wii console and Wii fitboard is the best "weight loss" gift I have ever purchased for myself. If it is hot where you live (and yes, here in Phoenix it is hotter than the hinges of hell right now), walk the mall. DO NOT SHOP--WALK THE COOL MALL. Walk the track in your local high school, walk to the park. Eat your protein first then your veggies. Save fruit as a dessert treat. I have to admit I am too lazy to do this but I might try scribbling my daily food intake in a tiny spiral notebook. go to fitday.com and enter the stuff you eat for just a week. I did it and was shocked the caloric crap I was sheveling inside of me. Don't tell anyone you are on a diet just say to yourself "try to eat good stuff today." I have always been a late night eater. I have to stop the eating at 8pm. I gulp down two bottles of Dasani water. Of course,
I cheat sometimes but I make sure to grab those 100 calorie scack packs or sugar free popsicles. Well, I certainly digress. This green tea scam review has started to be "my diet blog" Sorry, everyone! I just read your comments on my lunch hour and I truly feel sorry for all the people who have $70 dollars of this worthless tea. I even feel sorrier for those of you that have recurrent fees charged to your account for several months. Please call the numbers the gracious posters on these boards have given you and try to get a reversal of charges. When you ship this crap back (I don't know what the return policy of this company) get a tracking number from the post office. It'll help you establish a paper trail when you approach your bank for refunds. Let's work together and get this scam and the countless other ripoffs lessened. It breaks my heart that countless college students are being scammed of their and their parents' money on facebook, my space, etc. sites. KIDS--LET THIS RIP OFF BE YOUR FIRST AND LAST. ADULTS--let get smart. Let's all repeat this mantra, "If it looks too good to be true, run!" Run, exercise, walk the weight off and "trial offer" means you'll be spending a lot of time talking to customer service agents (if you can ever get through). LOL ACTUALLY, THERE SHOULD BE A SPECIAL JAIL OR INSTITUTION FOR ### LIKE THIS. I hope we can take this company down. Ordered a free trial for 4.95 for s&H:
-Received it with other product that was NOT ordered,
-without receipt, no phone number, nothing,
-card was charged $34.95 -Reg.Net.Sales said that they couldn't do anything-Finally we got their address, e-mail, site and phone number (that they do NOT answer),
-received a monthly 69.87 charge on our credit card for -We will contest with the credit card but would like everyone to know that these people give a bad name to Internet transaction.
SCAM, SCAM, SCAM. Yep! They charged me $69.87 plus shipping of $4.95 for the so-called free trial. Our mistake as customers was, we assumed the owners of the business are moral and truthful people. Now we know their true colors. You know in life, you reap what you sow; this fraudulent business would not flourish. I’m in the process of returning the second product they shipped.
It’s all good……..
I ordered the ultra lean green 30 day "free" sample online and got a little more than i bargained for.
After i ordered the product i recieved numerous spam emials and worst of all, after 14 days of my trial period, i was charged $74.24 for the green tea! When i called and spoke to a representative, he informed me that there was a disclaimer when i ordered the product that stated if you did not call and cancel within a 14 day period, then you were charged 74.24 for the product! I have read other complaints that said there is no number to call to cancel your account, so take my advice and do not order this product!
On top of all this, the product itself is not very good!
Boo to Ultra Lean Green!
My complaint's about the misleading ad and website of Ultra Lean Green Tea. It says only pay shipping of 4.95 and get a free trial. When you get the canister of tea there is a plastic wrapper around it with your address. Also a note that says you have 15 days to try 14 packets and if you must return the unused and call to be able to cancel your order. If you don't call within the 15 day trial period you will be automatically charged 69.87 plus you will be put on automatic monthly shipments and charged 69.87 per shipment. This is such a scam because this "automatic" membership is not spelled out on the website in a way that is plain and easy to see. I went back on the website and in the tiny print at the bottom after you scroll all the way down there is a place where you can click on terms and agreements. That is where the additional information about the charges is spelled out. It also says in bold print that you can get 100% refund at any time if you are not 100% satisfied with the product. So I called to cancel my order and get a refund - the tea tastes bitter and I didn't like it. They tried to say it was past the 15 day trial period and they would charge me for the first shipment plus a second shipment that I had not received yet. I told them I expected a full refund according to their 100% satisfaction guaranteed clause printed in the terms and conditions on the website. The rep said she would have to check with a supervisor. When the rep finally came back on the line she said the supervisor had agreed to refund both shipments. I was on the phone for a full 30 minutes in dealing with this company. They leave you on hold a long time so you will give up and not pursue it. I'm just saying buyer beware because this is a scam. They are making the details of the sale inaccessible on purpose because they know many people will not be aware that they have to call within 15 days. That is what they are hoping. They are deliberately trying to mislead with their website and advertising. They want people will go past the 15 day trial period and begin the cycle of being charged automatically on their credit card every month. I bet these people are making a fortune off of unsuspecting consumers who don't check their credit card statement carefully.
I wa charged for a product that I didn't authorize. I signed up for free trial of their tea, no where in add did it say anything about being charged a monthly fee. My accoubt was charged about $37 the first time. My husband questioned me about this and after looking into it I discovered that it was from the Tea. After doind a little research online, I found this site and see that they are a scam and have scammed many people. I looked up their website, I was on hold over and over again, never talking to an actual person. I called another number that was listed on this site from another complaint and did get a recording and have left a message we shall see if they return my call as I was not very nice. I am planning on calling my back tomorrow morning to see if any other amounts have been charged to my account as I see other have been charged as much as $70. I will find out from the bank how I can stop this from happening as it looks like this company keeps going even after complaints and talking with them. I will take care of this and will not stop until these idiots stop sending me their crap and I get my money back. I consider my self pretty savy on the computer so I feel sorry for the people who aren't and the ones who don't have the money for this. This company needs to be shut down and all money needs to be returned.
Sincerly one pissed off person!
I decided to check out this product that's been advertised all over Facebook.
I received a call moments after placing my order online(which I was only charged $6.95 for s&h). The representative said I would be charged an additional $1.95 for some vacation saver coupons and such, but would need to cancel after 14 days if I didn't want to continue with my membership($19.95/month).
I waited for the envelope to arrive so I could keep an eye on when to cancel... NEVER was I told that I had started a subscription with Ultra Lean Green.
I checked my bank account online, as it is pay day, only to discover I've been charged $69.87!
Apparently I had a 14-day trial period to enjoy this product(which I don't believe does anything, anyway) and cancel before I was charged to continue shipments.
I did call the company, making sure I was given a reference number as they are supposedly refunding the charge. I still have to wait for this next shipment to arrive so I can send it back.
Unbelievable!
paid shipping charges for 6.95 and credit card continued to be billed for packages sent that was not authorized. Do Not recommend this company to anyone! No phone no on packages or invoices with any valid information with the product when you recieve package. this is not good and these people need to be stopped.!
I also been charge $69.87, I thought its free for trial, I only recieve 1 bottle and thier charging me it didnt even work its look like i even gain more weight, they dont have any contact information then i try to find this site and i think im in the right site.So i need my money back and cancel my subscriptions.
doesnt work at all and its like your drinking a sand. how can i get my money back?
I had signed up for a sample of Ultra Tea and I was charge what I was supposed to for the sample of $4.95. But then I was charge $34.95 for Power Tea, which I didn't order and $69.87 for another shipment of the Ultra tea which I didn't order either as I haven't even received the sample yet. I want my money back...all $104.82. I don't mind paying the shipping and handling for the sample as that was all that I authorized. I had call them and they were supposed to get my $34.95 back and now I have received that and have this other charge of $69.87.
I have also been a victim of the ultra lean scam.I can guarantee you that no where was any information on the popup to say you were committed to any authorized payments. I actually found a number [protected] and had mine cancelled. The poor person that took my call was a part timer and a student. She cancelled the order and just remember to get a cancellation number and the person's I.D.
Good luck
I requested FREE sample only paying for shipping $4.95. They added 69.87 extra to my account
The above named company keeps sending me more of their products. I ordered from them once and I keep recieving more and more of these Ultra Lean Green nutritional supplements. I have not authorized these charges and do not want these supplements. I want a refund, but I can not even find any contact information for this company or website.
I am having a problem with them also. I cancelled 15 min. after I ordered the product and everything was supposed to be good. I even talked to my credit card company so they would not allow the charges. I am now, 6 weeks later recieving the product and being charged for it. The number I have for them is [protected]. Hope everything works out. Good Luck!
I have ordered this lean green on Sept 12, 2 008. The product did not arrive until October 06. I have paid over $6 for the shipping, tried it for about a week but did not like the taste and I did not lose any weight at all!
Today, I have called the customer service to cancel my order and was surpised when the guy advised me that I need to return the rest of the product since I have only tried it for a week, and have to pay for the shipping again! So technically, it is not just $6 for the shipping but more than that!
Also, on their website, it tells you that you will get a month supply - 30 packs, but when I received my order, it says on the bottle that I have to take 2 packs of this green tea a day, so meaning, this sample is only for 15 days! They also said that they will charge me the $35.00 if I don't send the rest back to them!
Please be very careful with their website. They don't tell you everything you need to know! Scam!
well crap or not, billing problems or not. you probably ordered this in the first place because you wanted to lose weight or gain energy based on their advertising just like I did.
Facts:
terms are on the page.
phone number is on the page.
the additional product has a "no" checkbox...if you cant find it then cancel your internet service and stick to tv.
the product DOES WORK. i lost 24 pounds in a month no lie.
it does give you energy
it is a product by a business which means they must make money on it.
its cheaper than buying energydrinks and a gym membership.
people, people, people...
why did you order it in the first place? lose weight? gain energy? have you actually tried it before freakin out and posting on the complaints board.
in my opinion this is a company who knows how to market. they are also in business to make money just like any other company.
the facts:
permission was give to bill when you clicked on I agree, process my order...
IT ACTUALLY WORKS unlike most online products, i lost 24 pounds in 1 month no lie,
they let you try it before you buy it just like bow flex and aol.
the numbers is on the website
the terms on the page next to the submit button if you cant see them then sell your computer on ebay.
it gives you great energy and wont kill you like red bull
the person who started this post is either a ### or a competitor trying to deface in my opinion a good company.
thanks for the good product!
look up scam in the dictionary.
it works, terms are clear, good product, good customer service.
um...
as a business owner, you might want to make sure you read the terms surrounding any spending. you did authorize the terms when you clicked "I agree, process my order" and if you look half an inch below that button you will see the terms spelled out for you.
i ordered it, knew the terms. stuff works so i keep it coming.
take your money and run? no they are still there. phone numbers at the top of the website.
dont be mad because you didnt read the terms. aol and bowflex employ the same marketing. you get a free trial, pay for shipping and if you dont return it or cancel you get charged.
if the product works like ultra lean does then you keep it. if you dont like it you cancel.
easy. (you'd think)
oh comon...
read it again. its at the bottom of the site right where you clicked on "i agree process my order"
aol and bowflex employ the same marketing practices. you try it and if you dont cancel you get charged. nothing is free. what company on earth would give you something free and thats it. they are in business to make money just like every other company out there.
fact is:
it works
its cheaper than the gym and energy drinks
convenient billing and automatically delivered.
easy to cancel by calling the number clearly poseted on the site.
i wish more companies could make it that simple.
uh yea... its in the terms.
you get to try a product for 15 days. if you like it keep it and you will be billed else you call and cancel. it is clearly posted right below their button.
i signed up, knew the terms, the product works so i will keep it coming.
nothing is free except for this great entertainment on the complaints board.
here we go again..
the number is as big as it can be at the top of the website.
the terms are clearly posted right below the button that says "I agree, process my order".
next time try it too.. it works and you just might like it enough to keep it. i did and it beats the gym and it beats what i pay in energy drinks.
charged for products not delivered to me, my credit card was charged
i want these charges removed and credited to my account.
I bought the Ultra Lean Green's product for losing weight but it substracted $69 from my credit card! That sucks.
this company called me multiple times attempting to get conformation from me for this product along with others. After many attempts and fails at this, my bank account was finally charged 90 some dollars.
I was foolish enough to believe that this company would actually send me a free sample for $4.95.
When I placed the order I was not aware that there was an "autoship" policy for this product. They also sent me another product which I did not order, and charged my credit card for it ($34.95). As I was leaving their website I was stopped by a pop-up window for a "chat" with one of their "customer service" reps. I had to decline her "generous offer" 5 times before she would stop writing that she was ready to sign me up for $14.95 a month "conveniently charged to my credit card". I saved a copy of the chat for anyone who wants to see it. There are two telephone numbers that have to be called to STOP the autoship, and membership to their weightloss "club". None of this is disclosed until below the order button. Please don't be taken in by this.
The Contact phone numbers are:
[protected] to stop the autoship.
[protected] to stop the monthly charge to the "weight loss club".

Same thing is happening to me! Now no one will even answer the phone! How can this be fixed? Very much "pissed".Should be taken out of business!
They charged me as well. I really can't believe they can get away with this! Is there anyway to have them nailed for the scam?
oh and one more thing they charged me before I even got the product...WOW!
I ordered a free trial of the Ultra Lean Green, I then had charges on my account for 69.00 for ultra lean three weeks latter and charges for a Fit Factory for 19.95. If you order this free trial be sure to read the small print and cancel anything that sends you an email. Even if you didn't set up an account with them. Call them and cancel or you will be charged for it.

Same thing, I signed up for a one time free trial, only paying the shipping of $4.95 for a 30 day trial. Then they decided they would just keep sending and charging me. Absolutely NOT! Do not even sign up to try this as they pull this resending and charging.
I ordered a free trial & was told you had to pay $4.95 for shipping & handling. Now I have been charged $79.95 plus $19.95 from a sister company for diet advice. I haven't received anything for these charges. I called them today and was told that if I had read the terms & conditions, I would have know that I signed up monthly for their product. I am disputing these charges but I think I will have to cancel my Mastercard to avoid anymore charges after reading other peoples comments. Never thought I would get into a situation like this. I will also be calling the BBB in Utah as suggested by another person who complained.
OMGTHIS PRODUCT SUCKS! THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SOO POOR.. THEY HAVE NO INFO ABOUT ANYTHING AT ALL! I JUST LOST MY $79.99 ON SOMETHING THAT DONT EVEN WORK.
I ASKED FOR MONEY BACK THEY WOULDNT GIVE BACK MY MONEY CUZ I WAS 1 DAY LATE TO CANCEL MY ORDER. THEY GIVE YOU 14 DAYS TO TRY FRO THE DAY YOU ORDER BUT THE PRODUCT DIDNT GET TO YOU UNTIL 4 DAYS LATER SO BASICLY YOU ONLY HAVE 10 DAYS TO TRY AND HOW CAN YOU SEE ANY RESULT IN 10 DAYS? THIS STUFF DONT EVEN WORK AND I JUST LOST MY $79.99 ..
CAN WE ACTUALLY GET OUR MONEY BACK EVEN THOUGH IM ONLY 2 DAY LATE FROM THE 14 DAYS THEY GAVE ME TO TRY IT? THE STUFF DONT EVEN WORK AND I WAS CHARGED $79.99 FOR SOMETHIG THAT DONT WORK? WHEN CAN I GET MY MONEY BACK? ANYONE?
