Union Supply Direct review: Customer service

I ordered with this company with a starting total amount of $347.98 which was $85.00 more than expected due to being changed for “promo item” they advertise in their catalog to be reduced or free & the amount of said item depends on the dollar amount of your order. Because I ordered online I thought it would be a quick fix with a phone call. The lady, who did not provide a name, proceeded to inform me such items begin with 911, & did assist with adding other items , along with those already ordered. Then, she pointed out shirts ordered were out of stock & gave me an alternative that I agreed with & asked to run my card for the difference, & before I could answer ran it for $358.04. This is a problem. I was swallowing her tone of voice & rudeness. Swallowing how she spoke to me like I couldn’t spell my name. I opted to ask for her supervisor & when Ricky came on the line all of a sudden between the 2 she baca me a 5 star rating. He was arrogant & basically gave the conclusion that my option was to suck it up. Pause—this company provides merchandise for prison inmates & there aren’t many companies in this business. So, if you have an incarcerated loved one you cannot just send them clothing hygiene extra food you have to do business with one of these companies. Smugly Ricky told me the 1st transaction would take 24 hours to post back into my account, that was a lie. After 27 he lied again & said he didn’t say that.

I will not spend my money with this company again. These people need to appreciate the community they serve that without they would not have money to pay their bills. And they’re already in a sweet spot & don’t value it. Because of the service this company provides the merchandise they sell is 10-15% higher the retail, & for that reason alone they should be smiling through the phone when called & have the credit card processing company or back show them how to run differentials. I’d love to speak to Robert V. just I don’t believe he exists.
