I called customer service again on July 22, and I was disappointed to hear that they couldn't send a replacement until FedEx confirmed that the item was lost. They asked me to wait until the end of the week, but I pointed out that the end of the week would be the next day. I was frustrated that I had to wait for 30 days for an item, and customer service was refusing to send another when FedEx hadn't tracked the package in 11 days. It was very poor customer service, and I was disappointed with my experience.
However, on Friday, July 23, I decided to give customer service one more chance. I called them for the third time, and I spoke with a representative who was very helpful. They apologized for the inconvenience and assured me that they would ship a replacement. They said it would take about five days, and I received it today, July 29. I was relieved and happy to finally receive my item. The sweater is great, and I'm glad that I didn't give up on Unique Vintage. Despite the shipping issues, I would still recommend this store to others.

I gotta say, I had a pretty rough time ordering from Unique Vintage's online store. I mean, I get it, the physical store is probably great, but this review is all about my experience with their website.
So, my daughter needed a prom dress and we decided to order from Unique Vintage. We ordered two different dresses, one in size 14 and one in XL, from different brands. But, when they arrived, both were way too small. Like, the XL was practically a child's size. So, we ordered again, this time a size 16 and a 2XL. According to their size chart, a 2XL should fit a 46" bust. But, let me tell you, that was not even close. We couldn't even zip it up and my daughter wears a 38B bra. The size 16 fit perfectly though, so at least there's that. Oh, and the seamstress at the dry cleaner got a good laugh out of how off the size chart was for the 2XL.
But, that's not all. The shipping was a nightmare. We paid for expedited shipping, but they still took 48 hours to handle our order before actually shipping it out. So, our 2-day shipping turned into 4 days. Definitely not Amazon Prime level service.
And, if you do need to return something, they charge a restocking fee. Not a huge deal, but if their sizing wasn't so off, people wouldn't have to return things in the first place.
I tried calling customer service a few times to make sure they were refunding my account, but I was on hold for 20 minutes each time and never got through. They do respond to emails though, so at least there's that.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend ordering from Unique Vintage's online store unless you know exactly what you're getting and the size you need. Their sizing is way off, their shipping is slow, and their returns process is a pain. So, buyer beware.

Buyer Beware: Unique Vintage's High Shipping Costs and Customs Declaration Policy
Unique Vintage is a website that offers a wide variety of clothing options for everyone. They have different brands, types, and genres of clothing that are fantastic. However, there are some negatives that I would like to point out.
Firstly, their shipping charges are horrendously high and do not include customs and duties. For example, HotTopic.com charges a lot for shipping, but at least it covers all custom and duty charges. Secondly, when you buy something that's on SALE, Unique Vintage does not declare the sale price, but rather the ORIGINAL (much higher!) price. This leads you to get a slap of a customs bill that you have to pay according to the declared value. Their reason was that it's "by law and that they have to declare the original price." I spoke to customer service (Sarah Valdez, she was most unhelpful) about it but they claim that they can't do anything about it. I'm sorry, you charge $38USD (around $50CAD) in SHIPPING... the LEAST you could do is help me out at customs! It's ONLY fair that I get taxed for how much I ACTUALLY paid! Anyway, I was severely disappointed when I saw that and will never purchase anything from them again.
Lastly, the items I received were good, but both bags looked like they were opened and previously owned (and then returned) as the buttons were half done and undone and just overall look WORN. Sorry, but I wasn't aware I'm buying a worn item. I wouldn't have paid about $233CAD (including shipping) + $40CAD (customs) for TWO pieces of clothing that look and feel WORN by someone else.
In conclusion, if you're a Canadian (or even international) customer, stay away from this website unless you want to get taxed on more than what you paid and still receive previously worn clothes. You're better off ordering somewhere else.

But honestly, I don't mind paying a little extra for the quality and uniqueness of their dresses. I mean, who wants to look like everyone else shopping at Forever 21 or American Eagle? Not me, that's for sure.
One thing I really appreciate about Unique Vintage is their size inclusivity. As someone who's a size 4/6, it's really important to me that I can find clothes that fit well and look great. And with UV, they collect brands and clothing from lots of different designers, so you really have to read the size chart for everything you order. Sometimes I'm a small, sometimes I'm a medium, sometimes I'm a 4, sometimes I'm an 8. It can be a little confusing, but UV does a great job of telling you if an item runs small or if it has stretch. And if you do end up needing to return something, their process is super easy. The only time you can't return something is if it's a final sale item, which is clearly labeled. So if you're complaining about not being able to return something, you probably didn't read the listing.
I actually had to return a dress recently because it was too small, but UV sent me a new one the next day. Unfortunately, FedEx lost the package, but UV opened up a case to find it for me. When it was deemed lost, they ordered me another dress and overnight shipped it to me at no extra charge. Talk about great customer service!

I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my purchase from Unique Vintage. I snagged a vintage-style sailor halter one piece swimdress in black and red, but it was riddled with design and manufacturing issues that left me feeling pretty let down.

So, I stumbled upon Unique Vintage and was excited to see that they had a selection of classic nude sheer black backseam pantyhose and thigh high sheer nude with backseam & Cuban heel stockings. However, what the site doesn't tell you is that their stockings are all Leg Avenue brand, and they are severely marked up. Instead of paying $4-$5 per pair, you're paying $12-$15 per pair. What a rip-off!
I specifically came to this site for vintage stockings, not Leg Avenue stockings. I could have purchased them on Amazon with my Prime membership and not paid over $25 in express shipping. I was incredibly disappointed and upset when the package arrived. Such a sham!
"Vintage hosiery" my foot... You do realize that for those of us who live and dress this lifestyle, Leg Avenue is a joke, right? Because of the lack of labeling, I've just paid $86 for horrible, terrible "stockings" designed for teenagers who don't know any better.
If they have any care, they would update the descriptions on their website to list the brands being sold to make buyers aware. And for goodness sake, get some better product! I contacted them and they said that I could keep the wrong dress, which won't fit me and nobody wants to buy it from me, and that the correct order will be processed. They said it would only take a few hours, but it was already May 30th. They also promised to update me in case of any trouble with the order.
However, the dress was not sent to me. I had to repeat my emails on June 5th and 6th, but they were unfortunately ignored. I was really irritated and contacted their staff again on their website on June 7th. Finally, the dress was being sent to me. But to make matters worse, the delivery of the dress took 1.5 months due to bad packing performed by Unique Vintage. The package didn't have the needed documents to get accepted at the border, so I had to pay a third of its price in taxes again.
I felt that neither my money nor my time was respected. Unique Vintage needs to improve their customer service and shipping procedures. I would not recommend this shop to anyone.
Disappointing Experience with Unique Vintage: Charged Twice for Unfulfilled Order
So, I signed up for Unique Vintage back in April and got my first dress without any issues. It was a pretty nice dress, I must say. However, things started to go downhill in May when I was charged $57 for a dress that never arrived. I waited and waited, but nothing came. When I checked my UV account dashboard, it said that my order was "unfulfilled" and showed a photo of the dress that I was supposed to receive.
Then, on June 15, I was charged $57 again for the same dress. When I checked my UV account dashboard, it showed that both my May and June orders were "unfulfilled" and had the same photo of the dress. I was starting to get frustrated, so I decided to email customer service.
I received a response from Emma Farley, who explained that there was a "computer synching issue" in May that resulted in my order not being delivered. She said that a refund for May had been issued, but when I checked my bank account, I saw that no refund had been issued. Instead, I had been charged $57 twice and still had no dress.
This means that for the one dress I did receive in April, I've paid a total of $171.00 (not including taxes and shipping). That's a lot of money for just one dress, and I'm not happy about it. I emailed the company this morning to ask for my subscription to be cancelled and my money refunded.
I would have called, but their customer service hours are only from 9am-3pm, which is not very convenient for those of us with daytime jobs. It makes me wonder if that's their plan - to make it difficult for customers to get in touch with them. Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience with Unique Vintage so far.
Online Shopping Nightmare: Slow Loading, Poor Quality, and Account Issues
This website is not the best if you're using mobile data. It takes a long time to load and uses a lot of data. Every time you try to go to a different page, it reloads every single huge picture.
The pictures are not great, so it's hard to judge what the dresses actually look like. I ordered a dress that turned out to have tiny iridescent sequins all over it. It looked like a little girl's princess dress, but I was looking for an adult dress. The material was terrible, and the measurements didn't match. It also took two weeks for the dress to arrive.
When I tried to return it, my account on the website suddenly said that I had never ordered a dress. I emailed and was answered in a very friendly way. They agreed to waive the restocking fee and sent a return label.
Now the website still won't recognize my account, so I can't see the status of the return. (It still says that I never ordered anything.) To help others, I tried to post a review with a better photo of the dress, but - surprise! - the website won't allow me to post a review.
I have no idea if I will actually ever receive a refund. The people seem nice, and if they had an actual store, I would go. But the website makes this an online shopping nightmare. I will never order from the site again.
Unique Vintage Review: Scam Alert! Fake Tracking Numbers, Poor Quality, and False Advertising
I had an experience with Unique Vintage that left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. I had ordered a beautiful top for my mother for Mother's Day, and was told it would be shipped out within a week. However, a week went by and I still hadn't received the shirt. When I contacted the company, they gave me a tracking number that turned out to be fake. After several delays, I had to purchase another gift because the shirt never arrived.
Eventually, I received a swimsuit and a blouse that were nothing like what I had ordered. The blouse was poorly made and looked nothing like the advertised item. When I contacted the company again, I never received the blouse I had originally ordered. It was then that I started to realize what was going on.
After looking through their website, I discovered that they were using pictures of higher-end clothing from other sites and passing them off as their own. The majority of their site was fake! If you order these nicer, higher-end items, they don't even have them in stock. I tried to get PayPal to help me, but these companies are so good at scamming people that it's hard to prove that you didn't receive what you ordered.
It's not fair, and it should be illegal! I feel like I was scammed, and no one helped me. I decided to write this review to warn others about this company. I don't want anyone else to fall prey to these people. I gave them one star because I had to give them something, but I would give them zero stars if I could.
Unique Vintage Lost Package
I placed an order a couple of weeks ago that seems to be lost in the mail if I am to believe what the delivery company is telling me. I tried contacting their customer service to get some help and all I got in response is automated emails completely unrelated to my problem such as how to return an item - I can't return an item because I have not received my order and I have not received it because it is lost. I understand a package can get lost but they should at least reimburse you if they lose it. But no...

It's been 8 weeks since I ordered my dress and they keep telling me that the order is at their sorting facility. Why is it still there? They don't know.

I accidentally found Unique-Vintage website and was amazed with all the beautiful dresses and immediately decided to order something. I signed up for the service and received a 10% discount coupon. I applied it and paid for my order. When I paid I saw a screen that said that coupon code was successfully applied but I noticed that they charged the full price. When I contacted Unique-Vintage customer service they said that there was nothing they could do and that they had no idea what happened. Absolutely unprofessional customer service, they really did not care.

I've purchased several items from Unique-Vintage and did not receive anything. I contacted customer service many times and they refused to do anything! I told them that I want to know what happened with my order and they said that it was shipped and that I need to contact the shipping company. They also said that after the product leave their store it is no longer their responsibility! What? I did not get anything yet and they refused to refund me!

I don't like Unique-vintage website. Very poor quality pictures and it is really hard to understand how the product really looks like. But I decided to take a risk a ordered a shirt from them and was really disappointed with my purchase. It looked noting like picture, color was much darker than I expected. Their pictures are super bright and there is a big difference between what you see on their site and what you actually get. I guess they use photoshop or something. In my opinion that is not right. Customer must see the real product! Will not order from them again.
They charged me for the cancellation of my order
I placed the order on the website www.unique-vintage.com. I ordered jacket and dress from them, but after couple of days I needed to cancel my order. I filled the form on the website and it was mentioned that they would return money within 7 days. After that they charged me instead, but I still haven’t receievd any money back. The seller stopped to communicate with me as well. I wonder if there are people, who have the same problems and what have you done in such situation, please post comments.

I have never been so unsatisfied with a website in my life. Their return policy is a joke. I have communicated with their customer service representatives on several occasions and have never felt like they had any interest with what I was saying. I find having to pay to ship back an item that did not work out for me is absurd. But I understand the means of small businesses; The real absurdity is the fact I will be refunded LESS shipping. This means I will be paying at least twenty dollars for any item I ever purchase from their website even if I don't keep it. Also, my return has somehow been lost in the mail. It is now completely up to me to track down my item and spend all day on the phone with the post office. I don't I will ever see the 100+ dollars I gave to Unique-Vintage.com Don't bother with this website, go somewhere with a better return policy and prices such as Modcloth.com or Shopruche.com.
Ordered a petticoat which came torn in multiple places. I cannot send it back since I live in Canada and it will cost a fortune to mail it back. Buyer Beware! Poor quality products.
