Sam's Club - Personnel

I’m a pro small business person so what I’m about to share is not surprising to me. My mom, who has computer, iPad, iPhone and Apple Watch, went to Sam’s in north Huntsville today to get gas (typically goes to Costco). The system is different and she asked for help from the attendant. He kept telling her, with attitude, she needed to “read” rather than help her. She asked for help again and he said, impatiently, he’d already told her to read what was coming up in the error message. I called the store 3 times to make a manager aware of what happened and never received a call back. I was not a fan before but found this to be quite unacceptable. #smallbusinesscantaffordtotreatpeopledisrespevtfully

Sam's Club - bad service

On 29 Nov 07, @ about 12:00 I went to Sams Club (5651 Holmes Ave. N.W., Huntsville AL) to pick up prescription (R.X.). On 02 Dec 07, in the a.m. I started feeling lethargic not soon after I got up in the a.m. so I went back to bed. When I got up later on that early afternoon my hands started to shake badly, I still felt lethargic, and started to have diarrhea. Later on that p.m., I asked my husband to look on the internet to see what the indications and side-affects of my medication were. He found that the medication (Metform) that I was taking was for a diabetic person (which Im not). Thats when I realized that Sams had given me someone elses R.X. instead of my antibiotic. So he then called the local poison control center and they told him to take me to the emergency room. I had just taken two of the prescribed pills, so I knew that it would be easy enough for me to purge them from my system my self (which I did). I called Sams the next a.m. (03 Dec 7) and explained to the pharmacy technician what had happened and she said that my R.X. was still waiting to be picked-up and that there would be a cost adjustment for the difference between the two different R.X.s I felt that there was an obvious nonchalant attitude for what just happened to me and realized (in hind sight) that when they gave me my R.X. they never checked my patient data information to make sure it belonged to me. So when I finally did get around to picking up R.X. at Sams (06 Dec 07) @ about 4:30 p.m., the technician recognized me and asked me if I had to go to the emergency room or anything. I responded no, I took care of it myself by purging the medication out my system myself and I guess Ill be alright. With that said, they didnt even apologize for what had happened or offered any sort of compensation for their mistake (that could have killed me). A few days later I called in another R.X. to them, and when I went to pick it up; they had lost it and made no attempt to fill it for me. I figure they just didnt want my business any more. They were very rude and unprofessional technicians working in that pharmacy. Im 51 y/o and have no allergies and consider myself to be very lucky that this incident was not fatal to me. My doctor told me I was lucky as well.

I did a search on google for loft beds to buy two, one for each of my kids. I found online that Sam's Club had listed an ivy league loft bed with complete desk underneath. In the order section, it said could be picked up at the store, so I ran the store number of the closest stor near me. It said the store had the item, so we went down to buy two, which were marked at $88.63 per item. When I got there, I talked to the lead floor person, and she ran the item number in her price gun to verify that they had some in stock. She told me that there were 20 in stock in the store, and she had several of here stock clerks looking for the item. I started walking around the store looking for myself, when I hear one of the clerks announce on the radio that he found a pallet with the item number. I walked to the isle, and watched him bring down a pallet with the correct item number, and a listing saying that it was ivy league loft beds. but when we could see the contents of the pallet it was Hudson Collection Chairs.I had been there for about 2hours, so I gave her my number and name And she said that they would continue looking for the beds. the nex day I went into the store, and talked to another floor lead, whose name I didn't get. she ran the item number, and all references to the beds had been changed and the item was listed as the chair. I showed her my paperwork, so she took a copy of the paperwork, and took it to the store manager (also name unknown). She came back and told me that he said he would do all he could to get me the beds. I waited the holiday weekend, then called the store. I talked to the original girl that had started the search, and told her what the manager said. She said she would ask the manager working what was going on with the case. She said to get my name and number, and she would check and get back to me. About 2 hours later she called and in a rude tone said I cant get that item to my store, so you are out of luck.I said I had copies of all the paperwork showing availability, but she just repeated that's your tough luck...so in my opinion, Sams club doesn't honor their own adds and is a crappy place to shop. in my opinionvIf you need anything avoid this store at all costs, no wonder most cities they try to build a store in fights to keep them out. no honesty!
