We ordered from the Sonic app so that food would be ready for pick up when we arrived. This particular sonic closes at 12 and we arrived to pick up our order at 10 and did as the app said and checked in from our phone. After doing so, we sat there for almost 20 minutes waiting. Our headlights were shining into the place of business so it was obvious that they saw us. Finally, we pressed the button and the man says "oh we only do drive thru" after knowing that we had checked in on the app and seeing us sit there for almost 20 minutes. So we pull around and our food is just sitting there, cold at this point. As we drive off, we sip what is supposed to be our slushy and it's not even a slushy it's a drink. So we have to turn around, pull back around and explain to the man and his response was, "oh, my bad"
We thought by ordering through the app it would be a quick and convenient experience. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Very obvious when the employees just don't care about their paying customers. Doubt we will be back.
