Yesterday, April 30, 2024, I dined at your restaurant at #38 Northcrest Road Weaverville, NC 28787 around 6:00 PM. I was parked in my truck at the parking lot ordering station.
After I placed the order I attempted to pay with my credit card. The system did not respond at all and I was able to physically pull my credit card out of the slot. I then proceeded to give the card to the server with instructions to add a tip to the card. The server came back with the credit card receipt and informed me that she was unable to add a tip. I subsequently tipped her in cash.
My complaint is this: the systematic inability to pay and tip my server via credit card at your place of business is, at best, negligent abuse of staff. If this happens again I will seek to escalate this issue until I am satisfied that the issue has been resolved.
