A Disappointing Experience at Panda Express
As someone who loves Chinese cuisine, I was excited to try Panda Express based on its popularity. However, my experience was far from satisfactory. The portions were small, the food appeared old and dry, and the quality did not meet my expectations. The lack of sauce, cold rice, and disappointing customer service left me feeling like my money was wasted. It's disheartening when a well-known chain fails to deliver on its promises. I won't be returning to Panda Express anytime soon.
Orange Chicken
Stopped by panda express yesterday afternoon and purchased orange chicken for my husband and I. It was so good, the rice was fluffy, and the chicken was crispy. The orange sauce was delicious. Didn't like the crab Rangoon though.
5 star
I came though the drive thru and my card kept declining. They helped me out so much. When I say they gave me the sweetest reaction. They handed me my food and said it's okay just take it. Thank you guys so much for being so kind.

Food and service
I went to the panda in the Scottsdale Pavilions. The food was meh but the service from Iris was fantastic. She was very busy with a line of people out the door she did what she could while working with those who stand around chit chatting.
What happened to the good food?
The first time I went to Panda Express it was hot, fresh and delicious. The last two times the food was questionable. Rice and noodles were hard and the entres tasted like they had been left under a heating lammp for hours. Are you guys serving us old food cuz it sure as h*** tastes like it.Two thumbs boooo
Why does it cost so much now
I used to eat here maybe three four times a month. Now barely once. Too much $! Do I need a bag to dine in? Let's fix this plastic bag issue to everyone that eats here. Here or to go. Should solve this. Why isn't the food consistent at all locations. Some taste powdery and others are just different. Please advise.
Service and food were great
I wanted to call out Tarun (I hope I spelled his name right!?) at Panda Express on Ames. Great guy, joked with us, exceptionally friendly. He refused a tip (they can't accept them) so I wanted to make sure he's mentioned. Even had the food been sub par (it wasnt; it was great), his attitude and friendliness would've made up for it! Rare qualities now-a-days!
A "qualified" 5 stars
O. K. it's not a 3 Star Michelin (if that makes sense to you... good. If not, that's OK too).
Simply, for fast food, I love this place. Now, I like Taco Bell too... just to give you a reference for this review.
Food is always hot and plentiful... pricing is fair. Authentic Chinese(?)... who cares... it's fast food. Similar to how Taco Bell is authentic Mexican faire 8^). Ummm, yeaaaaa... you bet!
Nonetheless, acknowledging the restaurant type, give it a try. You'll be pleasantly surprised.
Riverwind P-Xpress Price, Taste, Service 1 BIG PLATE 8/3/22
Price is great with current economic rates for eating out. Compared to Burger King, McDonalds, Chick-fil-A, the proportions at Panda are much much better and ingredients sooo good tasty. Food served at this hour was hot (not just warm)! Panda Express #1877 receipt is poor poor quality and I can't even make a readable photo nor sign into the survey numbers 8/3/22; order *** server

Best Chinese food Ever
I can't say anything about other's experiences with this food chain, however the one were I live out in Calgary AB is phenomenal. Well managed, good staff, and most importantly good food. U know it's the only Chinese restaurant locally that gives out discounts & special promo's to get they're customer base back, & they try really hard to ensure that everything is stocked full at all hr's of the day, so I respect that. Either way I'm not really phased if they run out of a dish I wanted as all their food is great so I just pick something else instead, no big deal right?
Anyway you get good portions here like probably double of what you would get anywhere else & the prices are very reasonable. I compare them to Costco's food court. Staff's great too they're like family to me.
Good food / trained employee with abdominal trust
Panda Express is the best Chinese food.
Friday June /24/2017around 5 pm. I went to Panda Express at Huebner / San Antonio Tx. I tried the new beef bejin. It was delicious. 5 minutes later a piece of meat got stuck into my throth. At first I thought I can cough it up. Then I couldn't breath anymore. I jump out of my chair and want it yo tel Soneone to call 911. I couldn't. I was embarrassed but I see a gentleman that was cleaning the table. At that point I know I dint have time to waste. I went to him and I pull his hand and show him my throth and the sign of abdominal trust. At first he was looking at me and then imediatley trow the things that have on his hand and beggin abdominal trust. I feel that the meat moved up and I stuck my finger and pull it out.
What I want yo say, thank God, thank to that gentleman and the owner / manager that they trained there personal to know how to react in case of this incident.

Inconsistent entry ky
I went to the location on the campus of Western Kentucky University and purchased a bowl with fried rice and orange chicken. This location underserves the main entrée. I receive less chicken than the other publuc location in Bowling Green, KY. I never leave the public location hungry and routinely do from this campus location. It seems to depend on the worker dipping the meat.
Recommendation: Go off campus when possible.
Panda Express Review: Poor Service, Inconsistent Food Quality, and Management Issues
I've been to several Panda Express locations and I gotta say, there are some things that just keep happening over and over again. First off, they never seem to open on time. You'd think that they would have their act together by now, but nope, they always seem to be running behind schedule.
And when they do finally open, there's hardly any food prepared. It's like they're not even trying. And don't even get me started on the portion sizes. It's like they just throw some food in a container and call it a day. There's no rhyme or reason to it, it just depends on who's working that day.
And if there's a problem with your food, good luck getting a refund. They'll just give you the runaround and refuse to do anything about it. And don't even bother trying to get all the items you ordered. There's always something missing, whether it's the teriyaki sauce for your chicken or the utensils you need to eat it.
And let's talk about the drive-thru. You'll be waiting there forever, and even when they tell you to pull over and they'll bring your order out, they'll forget about you and you'll have to go inside to get it. And don't even think about placing an online order. They'll deny knowledge of it and act like it's your fault.
And the food quality? It's hit or miss. It just depends on who's working the wok that day. And don't even get me started on the ice machine. It's always broken or not working properly.
And if you go there close to closing time, forget about it. They won't start making new food and they'll close early without warning. It's like they don't care about their customers at all.
And if you try to leave a Yelp review, don't expect much. Customer service will respond, but it's just a canned response that doesn't really address the problem.
Overall, I think the root of all these problems is the management. They need to get their act together and start taking care of their customers. Until then, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
Terrible Experience at Panda Express: Language Barrier and Poor Service
I had a really bad experience at Panda Express. It was so stressful trying to order my food. I asked for the Sichaun chicken, but the server didn't understand what I was saying. She only spoke Spanish and couldn't tell me what sides were available. She just started wildly gesturing and I had no idea what she meant. Then she grabbed a plate and started shoveling fried rice onto it. I told her I wasn't going to order and just wanted a drink, but she still chased me down with the plate of rice. I had to be really loud and clear to get her to leave me alone. It was so frustrating and left me with muscle cramps from all the tension.
I live in the neighborhood and haven't been to this Panda Express in years. Experiences like this just reinforce my decision to avoid it. I also wanted coffee, but they only had sweet teas and soft drinks. It's disappointing that they don't have more options.
To make matters worse, it took over half an hour to submit my review on their survey system. The text limit was really low (only 400 characters) and the system wouldn't accept my survey code. I had to make something up just to get past the submit button, but then the survey page froze and didn't give me a completion code. I had to call their automated voice system several times before I could finally submit my review.
It's clear that Panda Express doesn't care about having effective and well-operating systems. They make the customer bear the brunt of their indifference. Maybe if the CEO tried to order from their own restaurant, they would understand how frustrating it can be.
Unacceptable Customer Service at Panda Express in Paris, Texas: A Review
The Panda Express located in Paris Texas has left a sour taste in my mouth. I frequent this location with my son and have never had any issues until recently. I placed my order at the drive-thru and went home, only to find out that my order was incorrect. I immediately went back to the location and spoke with Kayla at the window. I explained to her that my order was incorrect and that I wanted it replaced. She closed the window and returned with a small box, which was not what I had ordered. I informed her that my food would be cold by the time I got back home and requested that it be replaced. Kayla threw her hands up and closed the window.
The manager, Diana, then came to the window and I explained the situation to her. She took my food back and asked for my receipt before closing the window. When she returned, she handed me my bag of food. I checked the food to make sure it was correct before leaving, but it was the same order that I had been trying to get fixed. When I tried to explain this to Diana, she became very rude and raised her voice. I had my nine-year-old son in the car with me, and I was appalled at the way she was speaking to me in front of him. When I called her out on it, she apologized to my son.
I understand that mistakes happen, and I was not upset about the incorrect order. However, I was extremely upset about the way Diana handled the situation. As a paying customer, I expect to be treated with respect and kindness. Diana's behavior was unacceptable, and she is not fit to be a manager. I paid $25 for two meals and simply wanted my order to be made right. Unfortunately, my son and I will not be returning to this location. We love Panda Express, but this experience has left a bad taste in our mouths.
Panda Express #1560 Review: Good Food, Unpleasant Encounter with Rude Staff
I recently visited Panda Express #1560 located at 5229 W Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ *** on 07-29-22 at 2:48:11pm order #*** according to the receipt. Unfortunately, my visit didn't start off on the right foot as there was a dumpster taking up four parking spaces in the parking lot, leaving me with no choice but to park further away in the mall parking lot. Once I made my way inside and got in line, I encountered a short, hefty black lady in front of me who was too busy looking at her phone to hear the lady server ask her twice if she needed help. This caused a bit of a hold-up, and the server looked at me wondering what was going on.
I had my gift card information printed out on an 8x11 piece of paper, so I touched the lady's arm with it to get her attention. She abruptly turned around and gave me a nasty look, telling me not to do that. I was taken aback by her reaction, but I explained that I was only trying to help her and that there were other people in line waiting to order. She continued to be obnoxious and had a nasty attitude throughout the interaction. When she checked out, she didn't even reply to the cashier or take her receipt as it was handed to her. She just grabbed her bag out of the cashier's hand and stormed out the door.
I spoke to the checker about the situation, and she acknowledged that the woman wasn't very nice. It's a shame that some people can't give others the courtesy to be ready in line to give their order and be considerate to others. The world could do without people like this treating others poorly.
After the unpleasant encounter, the rest of my visit was much nicer. The food was good, and the restaurant was clean. Overall, I would recommend Panda Express, but I hope that the staff can work on being more courteous and attentive to their customers.
You state the staff can work on being more courteous and attentive to customers, but you only described an "unpleasant encounter" with a fellow customer! You didn't say anything about poor service from the staff and in fact, said the visit became much nicer once the woman left.
Disrespectful Manager at Panda Express in Daytona Beach, Florida
I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience at Panda Express. I mean, I wish I could give it zero stars. The manager, Joy, at the Daytona Beach Florida location on international speedway was just plain disrespectful, rude, condescending, and nasty. And let me tell you, I work for DoorDash, and apparently she thinks I work for her as an employee or something.
So get this - I asked for a fork and a fortune cookie for my customer, and she straight up slammed the window in my face. Then, when she finally came back to the window, I asked politely if I could please have a fork and napkin with the fortune cookie. And you know what she said? "Do you know I can rate your service?" Like, what kind of response is that? So I told her, "Trust me young lady, I can rate yours as well." And let me tell you, I'm not just a DoorDash driver - I'm a customer too. And because of her attitude, not only did she lose me as a customer, but she lost a customer who had already ordered.
I mean, seriously, this woman has no business being in a management position. She doesn't know anything about me. I'm an emergency room nurse with a bachelor's degree in nursing, and I work at DoorDash on the side to put my children through college. My son is in his senior year at the University of California Santa Cruz, and his clinicals are crazy expensive. And let's not forget about the cost of education in general. I have a small side job, but my son doesn't have the luxury of having a father - he was killed in Afghanistan three years ago. So I'm raising four young men on my own and putting them through school. I work three different jobs to make it happen.
And to be talked down to by "Joy" at Panda Express? That's just insulting. My husband gave his life for this country, and I deserve to be treated with respect. Joy has no business holding this type of position.
Panda Express: Delicious Food, but Poor Employee Concern During Winter Storms
I ain't no Panda Express affiliate, but I gotta say, I love their food. I'm a snow plow driver in Northern Texas and Southern Oklahoma, and let me tell you, we just had a hard winter's blast here. Most restaurants were closed due to the weather, but not Panda Express. I gotta give them props for that, but at the same time, I gotta call them out for not showing enough concern for their employees.
I saw Chick-fil-A, McDonald's, and other big restaurants closed, but there was poor young lady trying to get into the Panda Express parking lot. She had to drive back down the hill and go around to the reverse side of the building just to get in. Being a California-based company, I get that they might not understand the dangers of an ice and snowstorm in our neck of the woods. We don't have many plows, little to no salt for the roads, and we don't know how to handle winter travel.
Don't get me wrong, I still love Panda Express food, but I can't help but think about this incident. To the folks making the decision to keep Panda Express open on a day like this, shame on you. I read your policy about family concerns and all that, but I know that's just a bunch of bull. Maybe you need to think about one of your family members getting stuck in a ditch in teen digit degree temperatures with nobody knowing where they're at.
I understand that making money is important, but not at the risk of your employees' lives. So, Panda Express, you need to step up your game and show more concern for your employees. This incident will never leave my mind, and I hope it doesn't leave yours either.
Disappointing Customer Service at Panda Express in Port Orange, FL: A Review
I recently visited Panda Express (pandaexpress.com) on William Blvd in Port Orange, FL and was disappointed with the customer service. The employees used to be friendly and professional, but now they are unresponsive and rude. On my most recent visit, I ordered a meal and specified that I wanted a bottle of Coke. However, when I got to the pick-up window, I was handed a fountain Coke. I explained that I wanted a bottle of Coke because I can't drink fountain soda, but the employee just looked at me with a snarl on their face and made me wait. When they finally came back, they handed me a warm bottle of Coke and closed the window without saying anything. I was left sitting in my car with a warm drink and feeling disrespected.
I called the Panda Express in Port Orange to speak to the manager and was surprised when the same voice that took my order answered and said she was the manager. I explained the situation and how disrespected I felt, but she didn't seem to care. She offered to give me a cold bottle of Coke if I came back, but I was already on the highway headed home. When I suggested that the situation needed to be addressed, she asked me what I wanted her to do about it.
I find it hard to believe that this is the new culture of Panda Express and hope that this was just an exception. However, it is important that this situation is addressed and rectified. It is a true injustice to Panda Express and its customers. I hope that in the future, the employees will be more respectful and attentive to their customers' needs.
Panda Express: A Disappointing Imitation of Chinese Cuisine
I've gotta say, I've given Panda Express a fair shot. I'm a big fan of Chinese food, but this place just doesn't cut it. It's not authentic Chinese cuisine, or even Chinese fast food takeout. But I guess that's what it was meant to be - a substitute flavor for the American palate to get used to fake Chinese food.
I can't quite put my finger on what the Panda Express food technicians are doing (or not doing) when it comes to the entrees and sides, but they're definitely succeeding in masking and blocking the American people from tasting authentic Chinese "woks of art." What you get at Panda Express is a lithographic reproduction or a facsimile of amazing, flavorful, and tasty Asian sauces, spices, stock, and recipes - that look and texturize like the real thing, but taste like they came out of a 3-D printer instead of an authentic Chinese kitchen.
I can't keep eating imitation while handing over my hard-earned American dollars to the production of more mediocrity and greedy corporation directors - who train their Panda restaurant attendants to load up bowls with a mile-high stack of chow mein or steamed rice (and don't even get me started on their "fried rice," which is a total joke), and then barely give you a fractional scoop of your entree item - unless they can call it a "double portion" and overcharge you for it accordingly. And if you get a one-item entree with half/half sides, they'll charge you extra for that extra half if they con you into putting it in a bowl instead - because a bowl order is only supposed to be one entree and one side; a half/half in a bowl is extra charge! So watch out for that bit of trickery they train their sneaky behind-the-counter employees - nice try, team, but the Chinese owners aren't THAT smart.
Sorry for the long review, but this establishment needs to know that they're not fooling their customers - they're just accustomed to what they've been fed all this time. It's time to support the smaller, authentic, family-run Chinese food places that are still cooking with true pride in their food instead of accommodating false perceptions of how Chinese food should be Westernized. Goodbye forever, Panda.

Inconsistent serving sizes
Tonight I went to my local Panda Express in Redmond, Oregon. I have to tell you I feel cheated. I was standing in line to be served. The person in front of me ordered a 2 side plate. He got two large spoon fulls of each side. When it was my turn I was given one small spoon full of each side. The 2 side plate he got was 1/2 again as large as my 3 side plate...

I was told by an employee from this location that I would receive a complete refund, but I have not received any refund in over a month.
Wells Fargo is looking into my complaint, and I also gave this location a very negative review with the BBB. I was surprised to see that others have complained about the lack of customer service.
Shame on you! I will never to business with you again, and I will let others know about my horrible experience.

I ordered two orders on Beef And Broccoli, one plate and one bowl on 2-9-24 at 8:00pm in the drive thru from the Festus Missouri store. I checked my bag before leaving and the bowl was not in there. I contacted the young female at the window and told her, she found the bowl sitting there and gave it to me. (Not a good attitude)
Upon arriving home I opened my plate and there were only five small pieces of beef in the entire meal. I couldn’t believe it, my wife then opened her bowl which was half full and she had two small pieces. Now this isn’t the first time I receive a substandard product or service from this store but I can gauruntee it will be the last.

Food quality issues
I eat at the local Panda Express restaurant in Columbus Indiana at least 1 or 2 x a week and the last couple of times my chicken was under cooked plus I had to wait over an hour for my food because they had nothing prepared. They were out of everything but didn't bother to tell how long it was going to take before charging me for the food. Then forgot about me and ran out of what I ordered again before finally giving me my order. Then the food was under cooked and no one offered me anything for my time waiting and food that was not even edible! I spent almost 50.00 dollars per order the last 2 times I was there providing for myself and other coworkers and to not even get my food replaced because I couldn't come right back. Is ridiculous. I couldn't come back because I was working and this was supposed to be for lunch. I just want to be respected as a customer and have my issues be considered important

They won't change. Indeed, it just gets worse and worse. They pay the highest hourly wages in the fast food, casual quick serve industries, yet insist on hiring teeny boppers with attitudes. The portions keep getting smaller while the prices keep going up. Support a locally-owned mom n pop type Chinese takeout.

Today's experience is a repeat of what has happened twice in the past- -my order contained three sides but when I opened it up at home I found one of the sides was missing.
