I will not be visiting your Tascosa Road location again. The manager Megan is very rude. I asked about another employee (Marie.) She then proceeds to trash talk her. Marie is very friendly, and always helps others. I went back to the office and several of my co-workers feel the same. I guess you can’t teach manners. I think they make the perfect team. I also ask Marie about Megan. The answer is NEVER rude. She talks about how she (Megan) is going to college and will make a great business owner one day. She might need to take an etiquette class.
not having order replaced as promised by manager
I visited the Bonner Springs KS Sonic on 10/12/17 at 5:08pm. I ordered 2 carhop specials; 1 with bacon and tater tots and one with grilled onion only and onion rings. When we got home, I noticed that they did not give me my bacon which I had paid for. I called and spoke with the manager on duty and she even remembered the order. She apologized and said that she would replace the entire order next time that I was in. We can back on Tuesday 10/17/17 around 6:10pm. When I told them what had happened, they could find nothing in their book and they sent a man out to my car telling me that the manager that was on duty that day was inside and she did not remember ever saying that she would replace an order and she wrote nothing in the book so for the most part they accused me of lying. To say the least, I was very pissed off with the whole situation for not being believed and indicating with the wording being said that I was lying... For $7.41 cents... I said some not so nice words and left.
I have been losing respect for Sonic through the years anyway due to no consistency between locations, but to be called a liar in not so many words takes the cake!
someone spitting in my cup
I've written, emailed and spoke to two people at the corporate office and still haven't had any type contact from anyone to address my complaint of a Sonic employee spitting in my cup. I have video footage that is going viral on social media of the complete negligence of the drive in management who tried to cover up the whole ordeal. bacon/cheese croissant
Went to our local Sonic in Gravette, Ar. on Sunday Oct. 15th. It was between 8:30-9am. We ordered a sausage toaster, a bacon/cheese croissant with the bacon well done, 1 coffee and a Rt 44 unsweet tea for which we had a coupon for. We were on a limited time schedule and it took awhile to get our food. When we did get it we headed to our appointment. The only thing that was correct was the toaster sandwich. The tea tasted very old ( i get tea at this Sonic all the time so I know what it is supposed taste like. It was undrinkable. Our coffee was cold and the worst part was the croissant. Not only did they make the bacon well done but they cooked the egg so long that it was hard and rubbery. It was dark brown instead of yellow. We drove back to Sonic and asked to have the sandwich remade. My husband said he could deal with the cool coffee and since we had a coupon for the tea I didn't ask for a new one esp if it was going to taste bad again. The car hop came out a few moments later and asked if I wanted the egg well done. That is when true frustration started. I told her that I only asked for the bacon to be cooked well done not anything else on the sandwich. We were so late by this time that I just asked for our money back. What a horrible experince. I don't know what was going on that morning with the workers/management but it needs to be looked into. By the way we ended up being half an hour late for our appointmen. Not cool!

Went on October 11 2017 with my children to visit sonic in Sanford NC and was treated very badly by very unprofessional member of management. While taking my order the manager Ashley called me a stupid [censor] twice, she said this stupid [censor] can't even decide what the [censor] she wants, and it wasn't once but twice. I posted my complaint on their page and they removed her name from the complaint so the big folks wouldn't see her name and know who it was. I went to the owner about it but the problem still hasn't been removed she was still there when I returned on October 14-2017 when I returned just to see if she was still employed at sonic and sure enough she was there, so needless to say we won't be returning, if they don't appreciate their paying customer enough to eliminate disrespectful people like Ashley than I will continue to post complaints and not visit this location and I will take my complaint to the highest level if I have to because obviously the owner don't care about his business enough to get GOOD PEOPLE to work for him so he will continue to receive complaints and lose paying customers over the trash he has working for him.

I went to your Sonic in Robertsdale Alabama ordered a cone and ice cream cone $3.84 she brings it out there it might have two tablespoons of ice cream in it no napkins no spoon no receipt and going to ask me is that all for you today I said how about some napkins oh I don't have any on me I would have to go get you some do you want me to do that I told her no thank you because I did not want to get ugly with young lady very very very very rude CarHop I am very dissatisfied with the service that I received at this restaurant I stop there all the time I live in Mobile and I travel back and forth to your through by your store every day 7 days a week and I love to eat there this is the poorest service I have ever gotten I buy your cone ice cream all the time and this is ridiculous I expect some kind of called and service for this complaint

During my visit on October 1 I ordered a chicken meal. When I received it I left the establishment. Upon arriving home which is about a 5-minute drive I opened the meal and started to eat it. The gravy was so cold it was hard. The chicken was dried out and hard and the fries were cold also. This is one of the worst experiences I have received at Sonic in a while. I would like to receive a refund on this purchase or something that equals the price paid.

On 10-14-17 went to Sonic at 6:45 to get car hop special. Was told they were out of onion rings. I have been to this Sonic several times at Kelly and Second street to specifically get onion rings and they are ALWAYS out if it is past 4:30 pm. I was hoping there would be an exception to this rule because of the special being advertised as an all day event. Apparently onions cannot be sliced, battered, and fried after 4:30 pm on any day for any reason. You are losing customers! I know 4 other people who won't go to Sonic anymore. I, for one, will no longer be a customer. Pity, I really liked the onion rings. 👋 Goodbye.
contents of sonic blasts
I'm not sure if this is a complaint or a question. We purchase Sonic Blasts from our local drive in on a weekly basis. For the past 3 weeks we are noticing that the requested flavor (Oreo, Choc Chip Cookie Dough, Butterfinger, etc) seems to be less and less. The topping is in the top 1/3 of the cup with just the ice cream in the remainder. Is it a lack of proper mixing? Maybe an attempt to save money on the content? Or do I need to request it be mixed more thoroughly?

I was at the Sonic located off of 128th & Zuni. We frequent there often for dinner, for your shakes after 8 & today for your Happy Hour. We got in line in the Drive through behind 5 other vehicles stretching around from the pick up window around 3:50. So we were 2 cars from the speaker. This was after picking up my kiddos from school. By the time we got to the speaker it was 4:10. TWENTY MINUTES LATER! By 4:13 I had not even been greeted. I called "Hello" a few times, with no response. At 4:15, we just left. As well as a couple other guests in line. This is not the 1st time this location has run extremely slow with very poor customer service. Very disappointing. They either need to hire more employees or better train the ones they have.

Me and my family coming from Thursday night Serivce 12Am and the cashier was very rude and giving us attitude we asked for French Fries and she told me that I would have to drive around to order new fries I personally told her I work at a restaurant also I never tell my customers to get back on the line for new fries so Keitha continues to give us attitude than she closes her door so when she came back with my food I told her thank you I will be writing a complaint she said well they have to clean but my question is this is a 24 hour drive through why are you cleaning and serving food I'm really not pleased with this .. Doing anything I was getting pushed out of the way, I felt and still do feel that it was a hostile work environment. Anyways that manager left and within half an hour or less a cook by the name Pearl starts cussing and screaming at me, to the point other cooks and a manager had to hold her back and calm her down. I only worked there for maybe a week and I was having trouble because of the way pearl acted towards me and the other car hops standing with pearl in corners talking about me and scattering like mice. I loved it there and I would love to have my job back but im even afraid of picking up my check and dropping off my uniforms I dont want to be attacked again. I also beleave they will short my check. I was listed as a shift leader because thats what I was training for and I have a feeling my check will be much lower then 9 an hour. Minus a few people you have an amazingly store. But I quit because of a VERY hostile work environment and I dont think they should get away with it. Also even though I was technically in training. This store has absolutely no training and should be coached. Not sure about sonic but anywhere I have worked you are supposed to wear gloves and not once did I see gloves or hand washing in use. Sorry I know im rambling.
breakfast toaster
First off, I don't eat meat and I mentioned this during my order this morning. With that being said, requested my meatless toaster to be charged separately that way I'm not paying the full price as if I eat meat, I completed my order with a medium tator tot and a small cup of water. But once I paid for my order and arrived to work, I open my bag to see portions of the toaster in separate bags.
This experience filled me with frustration and confusion as to why they would do me the way they did.
I would like for this store to be held accountable for this mistake and I would also like to be accommodated for the inconvenience.
grilled cheese
I ordered a grilled cheese and it wasn't cut in half and it also had a hair in it. I got this from the Ozark Arkansas sonic. Sonic is supposed to cut the grilled cheese and hair is not acceptable. This has happened to me multiple times. I am very very upset and this should be resolved. I am very disappointed in sonic. Please fix this problem. Sincerely a very upset customer.
wrong order/poor service
I have never had to complain about sonic before but my experience tonight was the green light for me. My order was wrong first off, secondly the service was extremely poor, my children were dissatisfied as they look forward to getting to go to sonic maybe once every 4/5 months. I complained twice and had to send the car hopper back inside for staws and ketchup just to get home and my order be backwards like they just made up there own order. This will probably be the last time i take my children there as i work hard for my money and Definetly should get what i pay for.

I patronize the Sonic in my town and today was the last time I will ever go to any Sonic again. I went for lunch and waited almost 30 mins for my food, like a usual thing. Not only did I wait for food at a fastfood restaurant for 30 mins, the food was disgusting. I ordered a BLT combo which it clearly states that it is $5.89 for a combo but they charge me more than the menu says. The lettuce on my food was brown and soggy and the tomato looked like it sat for months before they placed it on my sandwich. I do not ask for much but my gosh, this has been a common thing for this store. I have had patience and waited for more than 20 mins with no one in line, for my food there before.What is the issue here? Why can't you get your act together at this location. FYI...Do not go to this Sonic! They are terrible all together. Service, food and timing and whatever you do, do not go there for lunch because you will be late going back to work trying to acquire your food. Englewood, Oh location...

On 10/9/2017 my wife and 6 year old daughter are waiting on their food at the Sonic on Center Street in Winder, GA. Sitting at the tables were 8-10 teenagers. First off, they are smoking. I thought this was not allowed. Second, the language was not what I want my daughter to hear. Yes I know I can't always shield what my girls hear or see but I have always viewed Sonic as a "Family" place to enjoy a meal and a cool drink or shake. These kids were using the "F" work over and over and yelling it! They were calling a girl a [censor] and they had an air horn and kept blowing it. As a local business owner I tried to call today @ 4:15 pm. I was polite and simply asked for the manager to discuss the problem. The young man said he was the manager. I then introduced myself and asked his name. He got rude and said what DO YOU WANT? I said I would like to know who I am voicing my concerns to and he hung up on me. This problem is not isolated. We posted the problem on a rant page on facebook and as of now there are over 100 people voicing the same complaints for the same teens. I hope you do take note of this because now to enjoy Sonic we will have to drive almost 20 miles to the Athens, GA store which is awesome!

After 4 attempts, my order was never corrected, after waiting 30 minutes, and getting back to work only to realize that my order was still wrong, after I ordered 2 burgers with no cheese, because I'm allergic, and they replaced the burgers again with Cheese and the tots were ice cold and one of the drinks was never corrected to the proper order. I was so frustrated because I spent my whole lunch break trying to get what I paid for! So I paid $8.83 on a meal I couldn't eat! I will be contacting a manger about this matter, and I will tell my friends and family not to eat at this Sonic, and I won't be going back there to get a meal!

Was at local Prescott Arkansas Sonic. Parked in stall 5 pushed buzzer. 15 minutes later still no answer, another called pulled in beside me pushed buzzer she got answered. Another couple of minutes I left stall went thru drive in window and got waited on.

Sonic Drive In on Joe White Blvd in Myrtle Beach gave me an incorrect order. Receipt and Order received was incorrect and staff did not care! Staff at window should have involved Manager and been more service oriented. Staff obviously require Customer Service training and Management should be involved with Refund request and customer issues.
Requested refund and ordered from adjacent competitor (no problems).
I went to the Burlington, NC location. Went through drive-thru because they refuse to serve customers any other way. Ordered a real Strawberry Slush and I received a slush that was grey and had no fruit but a cherry. I have ordered these many times before and they are red with strawberries and they have a cherry in it. When I asked they associate at the drive in window about it she said that is how they are made. I gave it back and asked for a refund and a Rude disrespectful Manager came to the window and when I explained to her about what was wrong she rudely said “ well, when you get it again it will look like that””. If this is the kind of people Sonic has representing them I will NEVER go to another sonic again. Plus, I did not get my credit back on the credit card.
The Las Vegas, Nevada "Sonic" at 377 N. Nellis Blvd continues to fail at customer service and, has also been OVERCHARGING customers for their pretzel twists with cheese. This is the ONLY Sonic that has been consistently charging 50 cents EXTRA for the cheese, which is supposed to be included in the $1.99 price. I brought this to that store management's attention and was refunded the 50¢, BUT they, again, tried to charge me the additional 50¢ upon my next visit. I cancelled the order when they refused to remove the charge. Also, the last time I actually purchased the pretzel twist, they handed me the food, THEN asked me to hand them back the food. They explained they had accidentally given me a burnt pretzel, which they had sitting on the counter to be thrown away! WHY ON EARTH would they put TRASH FOOD on the counter, rather than dispose of it immediately? Please, for your own safety, steer clear of this particular Sonic until they get better management and better trained staff!
