Horribel experience, my drink and tots were made incorrectly. When I asked for a refund I was given attitude and brought out new tots. When I explained I wanted my money back because I did not trust him to remake my food he rolled his eyes walked away and came back this with $3.23 which is less than what i paid for the cheese tots and didn't give me any receipe showing the refund. He was very rude and did not refund or address the mistake they made making my drink. I wasn't able to get his name but he was wearing a purse and lips gloss and he is a black male with a horrible attitude. I wouldn't not want someone like him making my food!

Desired outcome: I want a full refund! For my drink and cheese tots and for it to be documented properly.
incorrect order
i placed an order on line and when i got home (which was a 30 minute drive) i say that i was missing 2 blasts i called them and they literally called me a liar and argued with me over the phone i would not have called if i received my full order guess this is the last time i will be a sonic customer it was today (October 10 2022 at around 5:00pm in Bloomington MN

We (me and my girl) have been sitting in this drive through for 30 minutes. Ordered two ice cream shakes nothing crazy. Watched as several customers who came after us got their large orders before us. I’m sure this is just an issue of absolutely pathetic management. But there really is no excuse for this type of service. I’m not a Karen I’m a 21 year old law school student who is disgusted with this disrespect I would advise a change of management at the sonic location off of magnolia ave riverside California 92504.

3 people I know have had their change stolen from them
Please ensure this location teaches its employees to ALWAYS give customers their change.
Also make sure they do not ask for tips as it makes them seem like homeless people.
Tips are to be earned, not expected, asking for tips is begging.
The employees at the Blanchard, OK location (as well as any other location) agreed to the terms of their employment prior to being hired.
If they don't like their pay, they should work harder to find a better profession or work on their customer service skills and earn tips.
If I should Ever encounter an employee of Sonic keeping my change, I would call the police and charge them with theft. I would also spread the news like a wildfire.
If any of the employees cannot count change then you should train them properly if they have potential or fire them immediately.
Stealing is NOT the answer, EVER.
Desired outcome: Proper training and discipline action for anyone who does this.

This past Tuesday, September 27th 2022, around 11 or 12:00 noon we went through drive thru and The manager Stephanie was so blitzed out of her mind that she kept mumbling on the speaker and slurring her words. She didn’t repeat the order to us but as we said what we wanted she said it back to us. Anyhow it should’ve been like a $20-$30 order but we get to the window and we give her a $50 bill and she gave us $9 back. I asked for the receipt and she didn’t give it to us and she was stumbling around dumping drinks and could barely hold her eyes open. We get our food and it looked like maybe $10 worth of food in there and NONE of it was correct or what we had ordered. I just drove off cause she wouldn’t have told the truth anyways. We were regulars here but not so sure about that anymore. I don’t want my grand kids seeing anyone high like that anymore than they already have to here in Portsmouth Ohio. Trying to serve me food when another car had my order
On Set 24,2022 at 10;33pm We went to the Sonic at 3081 College Park Dr, Conroe Texas 77384, we just left the ER Hosp and we were starving so we went to this Sonic RECIEPT#841 AMOUNT $20.98, we waited for our food, and notice that the SUV next to us order, then the server took a bag of food ,the lady open it up then the other server Antonio i believe told him you are giving the wrong food, here is her food, Antonio turn around walk inside with my food, got a fresh bag, tried to deliver my food that the lady touch to me, I told him noway that lady went through the bag, he snatch it out of my hand ,went inside 13 min later came out with the same Damn food just another fresh bag. I told him i need the receipt he said oh I'm bad, gave me my receipt and I left.
Reall you were trying to pass my food I order to another lady, let her go through it and you knew it was a mistake then you handed back to me.

Sept 24 1117am ordered food at a stall and finally got it about 15 minutes later I ask the lady if I could have ketchup and salt she said ketchup u got I can get u salt well needless to say no ketchup and hey I'm not one to gripe but last time I went to the ft oglethorpe location about 2 months ago I pushed button and ask for the same salt and ketchup they said we will get it to u 20 minutes later I left I only have an hour for lunch.rediculas!

Thursday September 15, 2022, at round 10:15 PM I went to the drive through at the Waldorf, MD location. The person taking the order was rude so when he approached to take my money ($20) I mentioned to him that he “wasn’t very nice…” He handed me my drinks, said "well I couldn't hear you..." threw his hands up and walked away. I asked for my money back and he walked into the store and closed the door. My fiancé and I went to the front of the store to speak with a manager, but the door was locked. We went back to the drive-up window and asked to speak to a manager and to have my money returned. Two other male employees walked out of the store, one of them shoved my fiancé in his chest and the other was banishing a machete. My fiancé and I are both 60 years old and no match for these guys. We left the store because we were now afraid for my life. We called back within 15 minutes of leaving the store and asked about my money ($20). We were told that by someone who claimed he was the manager “...you'll get your money when you start acting like a human being..."
When we reported the incident, because we were in fear for my life, I begged the representative to not give anyone in the local store my number and that I needed a call back from a district manager. On Friday September 16 at 8:13 AM I received a call that started like this “...I am calling from Sonic…” I asked her name and job title to which she responded “my name is ... and I am a representative for the manager..." I ended conversation 2 and she called me back-to-back at 8:23 AM and 8:24 AM. She was very patronizing, and I felt threatened and intimidated. She kept asking me '...you gonna come get your money...?" The last time that she called me she said "...Faith Dutch - that is your name, right?" In a menacing manner – I believe she wanted to make a point to let me know that she knew my name even though I asked that my name not be provided. I am not in constant fear that one of them will come to my house and attack me.
Incorrect Order and Accusations
I have never had such an awful experience at any food restaurant. First waited in the stalls, but after the entire drive-through lane had been gone through and we hadn't even given our order yet, I switched to the drive-thru.
Gave my order, asking for a combo chicken slinger with large tots and a shake. And then a popcorn chicken side and another shake. Got to the window and after waiting a bit, someone finally arrived to take payment and gave us the receipt. First off, I think the prices are a little ridiculous, but regardless, they got our order totally messed up! First, they gave us the shakes, which was size medium instead of small (but charged for a medium,) then gave popcorn chicken, then gave me tots covered in nacho cheese! I told the person that I didn't order that.
I said my entire order again, and they were still confused. She left to go speak to someone else and then told me to pull forward out of the drive-thru. One of the older workers came over and I wrote down my order and talked through it while showing her. She said, okay, so you need the tots. I said yes, and the chicken sandwich. She said I'd have to pay for a sandwich, to which I said, we already paid and this is getting ridiculous. She proceeded to accuse me for not telling them I wanted a chicken sandwich at the menu, and that it wasn't on the receipt, and so if I wanted a chicken sandwich, I'd have to pay for it.
I asked for them to waive the chicken sandwich fee due to the completely incorrect order. The worker blamed me for not telling them at the menu since the receipt didn't have it; but I did tell them at the menu and it's there fault the receipt didn't have it! The worker argued with me, rolling her eyes, and giving a very snotty and sassy attitude. She also said she needed to speak with her manager, but then later said she couldn't do anything because the manager wasn't there. So... one way or other, she lied!
I finally gave up and said, forget the sandwich and just bring us the tots. She did, practically tossing them at us, with the sandwich, and storming away without another look.
And that's not even the worst of it! The tots were not fully cooked and the sandwich was covered and slopped around in mayo! It was the worst fast food meal and service I've ever had. I will not ever go to sonic again. They use to be great shakes and fun service and quick, now they over-charge for poor quality, awful service, and take forever and don't give a damn about anyone. Clearly, since there's so many negative reviews and yet no change.
Desired outcome: Sonic changes!!!! I want the old sonic back! With the awesome workers, and the awesome large quantity food with reasonable prices. And with the speedy roller skaters! (or at least workers that can walk quickly).
Closing early
The Mount Juliet location stops serving ice cream at 7:30 or 8:00 pm. I have tried to go on my lunch break several times and I'm always told that the ice cream machine has already been shut down for the night. Sonic is famous for their ice cream so why would they shut the ice cream machine down before they close. I don't really care for their food that much it tastes like everything is cooked in the same Grease so when I come I only come to get ice cream. After being told that about 5 or 6 times I stopped coming on my lunch break. Just tried to come again today and was told the same thing at 8:00 p.m. I came to Sonic and the ice cream machine has already been shut down for the night. They should close the whole restaurant if they're going to stop serving ice cream.

Well I'm not sure filing a complaint does any good at all considering the number of unresolved complaints. But I just today discovered that you're advertised 1/2 price drinks through the app is a rip-off and my bank can prove it. When I order drinks through the Sonic app I am getting double & sometimes triple charged for one order. Bank confirms identical charges come through at the same time to the second. What do you plan to do about it?

Horrible Management
I've frequented the Sonic @ 2320 E. Bearss Ave. Tampa Fl 33549. The drive thru service is always slow and at least 7 times they've told me they had no ice cream. I then went to an alt location @ 1915 E. Fowler Ave. Tampa Fl 33612, which I've never had an issue with nor have they ever no had ice cream. So I've come to the conclusion it must be poor management at the Bearss location

This restaurant customer service and management was terrible ordered 2 meals one a double burger which I returned due to being to dry over cooked. Waitress stated have to recook a new burger. Called manager he stated quality of meat is bad. Then why you serving this kind of meat he stated most people do not complain.
We ate outside the cleanliness of the outside restaurant was disgusting bird [censored] on tables, dust and parking lot disgusting with dirt and debri in including outside condition of buildings.
The manager did not offer any kind of apologies.
I do not know who owns this franchise but it need’s to be closed for sanitary conditions, including no outside trash barrels on property,
poor quality products.
Desired outcome: A credit for future visit and have the establishment cleaned
2 kids wacky packs
I went to Sonic in Kennett, MO and places my order around 3:30pm through the Sonic app that I have attached the receipt from my transaction history in the pictures below along with pictures of the kids meals I purchased. The wait time at the Kennett, MO Sonic was entirely too long for them to bring out old food. The chicken strips in the kids meal was so hard my 1 year old grand son could not bite them. They were also dark in color. The French fries were stale in both kids meals and the hamburger and bun was hard and dry.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund and for this particular Sonic to do better. They are serving food that people are buying and can not eat and making them wait as if the customer is going to get fresh food.
Poor quality service
i was at our local Sonic last night. I waited in the drive-thru for quite some time until I was waited on. Then, when I got my food it was cold and my burger had mayo, mustard and catsup on it and I asked for mustard only. I used to frequent our sonic all the time, but now I rarely do because they almost never get the order right. I wish someone would please check it out and find out what's going on there so we can again enjoy our local Sonic food. Our store number is 2393 and my ticket number was 315995 on 9/13/22. Thank you!
Should require all national promotions be honored by all franchisees and those franchises that do not honor be fined.
