Error in order
Let me start by saying, I LOVE Sonic breakfast! I usually order through the app and stop by there on my way to work (most days), however my last 2 visits have been HORRIBLE! I order the SAME thing each time (supersonic breakfast burrito with NO TOTS), my first bad experience the breakfast burritos had tots and bacon on it (no sausage), I do NOT eat bacon or tots, my most recent visit (this morning) I again ordered my usual but sadly discovered it is a junior size burrito mostly eggs and cheese, and when I called back to the store concerning my order, the young man that answered the phone told me “your order can’t be wrong, I remember making it myself”, he then proceeded to tell me what my order was, I stated “No, that’s not my order” and repeated my order as placed through the app, he then asked was I coming back to get my correct order, I told him “No not this morning, I am currently at work” he then asked for my name, but the AUDACITY this young man had to tell me I was wrong about MY order because he knew it was correct because he had fixed it himself!

They put onions on all 4 chili dogs
Had to wait for carhop to go and get $4.00 in change
Don’t the carhops carry any cash on them anymore
I won’t be visiting SONIC in the future, this is not the food quality or level of service expected. Very Disappointed!
My food order
Went thru drive-thru 9/6/22, my order was completely wrong, burgers tasted like they had been left on the back of the grill too long(dry & cold). They didn’t put the correct condiments on burger. I live 45 minutes away from restaurant. We left and eat when we are driving. They were soggy, too juicy sauces fell out on to our clothes. The upside we got food on 9/5 and it was perfect. I know everyone gets a wrong order once in a while, but I have never gotten one from this restaurant.

Entire meal/service
August 29, 2022 I was on the way home from the Lake of the Ozarks. I have never had a bad experience eating at Sonic until today. My friend and I had a 3 hour trip back home to Kansas City and decided to back track a bit out of our way into Laurie to get a bite to eat as it was almost 3pm and we had not had lunch. It was approximately 2:30 when we arrived and ordered 1 large water, 1 Route 44 unsweetened ice tea with extra extra ice, 1 quarter pound double cheeseburger, 1 3 piece crispy tenders, 1 tater tot with cheese, jalapeno and onion, one tater tot plain and 1 mozzarella stick. They were busy when we arrived and the stalls were mostly full. We visited for a while chatting (my friend and I) and eventually I looked up and saw it was over 15 minutes later. All the cars that were there were gone, the guy that pulled much later was delivered his drink. I called back inside and asked if they forgot or delivered our food to someone else. He said I'll be right out. I didn't think about the fact that our food could have been made that quickly but paid anyway. The bill was $19.39 and we gave him a 3 dollar tip and the change. The car hop was amazing and very cheerful...and even ran back and brought us 2 packets of ranch quickly for the mozzarella sticks as I don't care for marinara... My friend had ordered ranch when we placed our order, but wouldn't have gotten it as it wasn't in the bag. We were now late to get back on the road to home so took off and noticed that my Route 44 was also just water and I was charged $1.60. Everything we ordered was cold...we were both really disappointed. Sonic has always been the more expensive fast food chain, but it seems to be more fresh and hot...so I expect to pay more. I also understand with the Pandemic, everything has gotten more expensive, but I still expect quality. I would have waited 5 more minutes for them to remake our food...but they didn't...and didn't even ask...they just brought us out the cold food they had forgotten somewhere inside. I was not about to turn around and complain after being on the road for 5 minutes, driving back 5 minutes and waiting an additional 5-6 mins for them to remake the food and set us back an additional 30-40 minutes getting home as we were already there 20+ minutes waiting for the cold food. I think, as a manager myself, that additional training should be done with this and other locations if this happens elsewhere. You are the higher quality fast food chain. It's not going to break your bank to fix your messes. The chains need to know that.

Desired outcome: At least a free Route 44 Iced tea would be nice since I paid 1.60. Food was cold but we had a long drive...so ate it anyway. We had a 3+ hour drive back to Kansas City.
Health violations
There’s no soap in the restroom for employees, only hand sanitizer. Kitchen doesn’t wear gloves. The food gets contaminated each time they touch it because their hands are filthy. Isabelle keeps sticking her hands in the ice that drinks are made from. Jessica doesn’t need to handle any of the money or food. Her existence creates a toxic environment, her attitude towards others is terrible. It’s hard to concentrate and count money when she’s dancing to her music. She belittles people and continues to brag about her upcoming manager position, as she stares customers down she doesn’t like. She’s talks about sleeping with the high school boys and getting drunk at her trailer. I would work there again if they would answer the phone. They pick it up and hang up. Try calling there and see. This location needs serious attention.
Desired outcome: Follow OSHA standards. Get soap in the restroom, buy some gloves. Put a camera on Jessica.
A number one combo
On Sunday morning just before 11 I ordered a number one combo. Burger large fry and a large Dr Pepper. I had to be at work at 11:30 and wouldn’t get a lunch that day. So I ordered this.
I was brought my food in a very timely manner, but never got my receipt. No biggie. I drive to work and I was going to eat in my car.
My fries were so old, that I couldn’t even swallow them. I drive back. I tell them what happened and asked for a tater tot instead as well as my receipt. They then ask me what stall I was in. I told them I had no Knowledeg since I was never given a receipt. I waited for 17 minutes. Pushed the button again, and Just asked for a refund. I told them specifically what I ordered. They brought me a ticket that had been refunded that was not mine. I waited four more minutes and got my refund. I received a token for a free drink. I was late for work. I was a GM for sonic for 3 years in Houston, And I know that Sunday isn’t the best day to come to sonic. But man, this was just bad. My check number was 71. My stall number was 20. This happened at store 3291. I will definitely eat at sonic again, but I will never go back to this location.
Desired outcome: The food I ordered initially. I can’t have my time back 😂
Customer service
On August 20th , 2022 my family arrived at the Sonic on 3763 Sullivan St. in Madison AL. We were needing breakfast while on a tight schedule traveling to a soccer tournament. We pulled into a bay only to be told they were only accepting orders at the drive through. We proceeded to the drive through and sat there for fifteen minutes without even an acknowledgement. We attempted to ask for service and received no response. We left with no service and no food. I assume I will hear the same excuse that there was a shortage of staff. However a shortage in staff should never result in a lack of good customer service. If I know someone is short staffed but working hard with a smile on there face, I respect that. This incident at sonic made me as the consumer feel disrespected. My family will not be back.
Desired outcome: Common courtesy of acknowledging us and at least letting us know someone would be with us. Getting food would have been nice too.
No refund, No response, Doesn't answer their phone
I want to make everyone aware of something I've been working on since July 16th. We ordered some food and drinks for the SONIC on Louis Henna in Round Rock. We got everything EXCEPT the large tots that I was going to have. The drinks were great - as usual. Everything I eat any of their coneys or hamburgers though - I get sick. So I ordered a large order of tots - I was going to eat a salad that I already had at home with them. Now, I don't have a car, and I'm a senior and disabled - so anything I order has to be delivered. A friend of my son's was over at the house and he said he would go and pick up the order. I had ordered an extra cheeseburger in case one of them wanted it - or to split it. Well, when the meal arrived - the large tots was missing. I let SONIC know right away - online. I TRIED to call the business directly - but the line was busy from 6:00pm - ish until I gave up at 9:30pm. So I emailed Sonic- corporate to let them know what is going on. I've been playing EMAIL TAG with them ever since. I went ahead and ate 1/2 of the extra burger even though I was hesitant. Sure enough - I got sick. Their food USED to be good. We all used to crave it...up until about 6 years ago or so. (I can't remember exactly when). Anyway, the food changed. It tasted different and it almost always did not sit well with my stomach...so I'd just get a drink and tots anytime we got food from there.

I don't know how much clearer I can be. Store# 4086 Chk# 369 Everything on the order was in the bag EXCEPT my Large Tater Tots. I was NOT happy and I'm the one that paid for the order! I called that store for 3 hours and all I got was a busy signal. I finally got through after 10pm and told the person about it and he told me to go on the app and report it.
This is NOT the first time I've had issues with this location and everytime I've tried to call them I cannot get through. I doubt seriously if I will be back. The only thing that is good there is the drinks. Everytime I get a burger there, I get sick. It used to be my favorite burger...(other locations)...but others have told me that the quality has gone down at ALL LOCATIONS.
They offered me a free drink with my next purchase. LMBO!~! I'm NOT EATING THERE AGAIN! I can't redeem a free drink anyway...I HAVE NO WAY TO GET THERE!
Corporate says they can't refund me for just the tots. I said then refund the money for the WHOLE ORDER! (this was about a week into complaining in the emails). (In the meantime - I've tried to call them EVERYDAY at the local store to talk to them and either no one answers - or all I get is a busy signal)
So I get another email saying that they have forwarded this to the store on Louis Henna.
I wait a couple of days for a response...CRICKETS! I send another emails to corporate advising them that I haven't heard from the local store & they don't answer when you call. Then nothing from corporate. I've told them twice now that if this wasn't resolved by TODAY...AUGUST 8th, 2022...that I would be posting to the media and letting the public know about this. All 3 of my sons have worked for Sonic over the years...never at this store...but for the company. I'm just appalled!
Who else has issues with SONIC? Who else has issues with the store on Louis Henna in Round Rock? If this was the FIRST TIME...it would be different. This store has screwed me over for THE LAST TIME! I can't tell you how much money I've lost at this store because they don't do anything about their screw ups.
Desired outcome: I want #1....the franchisee to be held responsible. #2....I want them to ANSWER their PHONES!!!! #3......I want my money back!
Not Being Able to Tip
This morning I had great food and the car hop was speedy, courteous and friendly. The fact that I can’t tip her on my card is ridiculous. It’s 2022. No one carries cash and it’s disgusting any.
Treat these employees right so that they can improve their quality of life. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. The technology has been around for decades.

Sonic inconsistencies with menu
I have several times ordered a strawberry banana blast from Sonic and have received just that. Tonight I ordered the same and was given a shake because what I asked for isn't on the menu. A blast is simply ice cream mixed with candy or cookies. And this Sonic makes the blast by putting a spoonful of candy or cookie or whatever on the bottom, then ice cream then another spoonful of whatever. The blasts are not mixed. So why is it hard to do the same with banana and strawberry? Sonic brass that it can put whatever a customer orders together but that's a lie. I didn't want a shake, and the shake I was given had a half a banana just dropped into the bottom. Not pieces, but half a banana. If Sonic can make a blast with candy or cookies or cake, then they can do the same with strawberry and banana. And mix the blasts with whatever is in it instead of dumping a spoonful on bottom and top. They're supposed to be mixed.

Onion Rings

My online order included medium onion rings. The first two onion rings at the top were fresh, but those at the bottom were all cold and extremely hard and tasted old. The rest of my order was fine and as expected.
Additionally, the receipt request feedback site which doesn't exist. No online contact or feedback sites within Sonic Drive-in corporate website. Only able to order food on their website.
Driveway condition
The Sonic at 800 N. 3rd street-Manhattan, KS has had large potholes/ cracks in their pavement for several years now, and have never attempted/ had any fix don lol. It’s bad enough, that I skirt over/ between them for fear of damaging my tires/ wheels when I’m driving in to order something to eat. I love Sonic and the food there, but this issue really need...

Every time I come to this particular sonic this is the only one in [censored]ing Hattiesburg it takes them 10 to 15 minutes to take my order then when I do [censored]ing answer it they say that they’re out of ice are the machines not working which is a lot better with it this is my last visit here at the suggestion of fixed the problem like can you employees or get a damn ice machine. It takes about 10 minutes EVERY time I come to just this sonic. The employee is always rude and ALWAYS says they are either out of ice or the machine is not working when they finally do decide to take my order after sitting here 10+ minutes and it’s usually in the evening near 7 pm and it’s a black girl that’s so rude if that helps

Our order was missing some of the things we ordered, she said she would be right back with them. Almost an hour later we had what was missing, all the other food was cold by then. No apologies for the poor service or compensation on my bill. Very disappointed with sonic in Zebulon north Carolina. Will not be returning again. Same thing happened last time...

We went to the Frederick, MD location on Gilford Dr. Oh wow. They have really gone downhill. We ordered in the app, 2 sonic double bacon cheeseburgers one with tator tots, one with an onion ring. Both burgers came without bacon, we sent them back and asked for the bacon-this resulted in two sad, burnt pieces of bacon. I took my bacon off. My husband asked for his burger without ketchup or mustard and only lettuce, pickles and onion only no sauce. It came out wrong the first time with ketchup and mustard and no bacon. They remade it and transferred the original patties with mustard still on them to a new bun and still added ketchup and forgot the bacon. So he sent it back for the third time and it was corrected but the bacon was also burnt like mine. The onion rings that I ordered came out in one, lump of an onion ring. They were also very chewy. So I asked for new onion rings…they microwaved the lump and separated it a bit. Needless to say I didn’t eat them. My husband tots were only half full when they came out. I mean this is ridiculous. We shouldn’t have to send our order back 5 times for it to be “correct”. We will not be back. Do not go here. I’ve been several times before and it was always fine and pretty decent. I will not be back.

We went to store #4300 to get dinner. When we pulled up we saw half off of slushy if you order on the app. I downloaded the app and placed my order. About 30min later they come out to my car to tell me the ice cream machine is down. I said you should have it posted so customers have the opportunity to make the right decision. She said the Reginald Manager don't want them posting anything. So I told them to make the sour patch without the ice cream and give me two slushy instead of the two shakes. At this point I've been waiting an hour before they returned to say they out of buns and all they can do is chicken and fries. So now I don't want anything but a refund.

Poor customer service
I placed an order via sonic app and I waited almost an hour for an employee to tell me that they only had 2 ppl working and that they were only serving drinks. I still wasn't refunded for my order. Why is the restaurant open for business if they can only serve drinks?
