My family went the Sonic Drive-In Located on hwy 107 in Gravel Ridge, AR around 8:45pm 6/3/17. We ordered two small Oreo Blast one with extra Oreos and a medium Heath/Vanilla custard concrete. My first complaint is that it took entirely to long to get our order, second it didn't feel good at all to spent over $15.00 dollar and not have our cups full as they would normally and besides the few Oreos in one of the blast it only had two and I mean iterally two pieces of Oreos on top. Geez I could have traveled a little further away from home to either Freddie's or DQ for that price. I'm very disappointed with Sonic. This isn't the first dissapointment from this same Sonic.

My family visited sonic tonight which is a Friday night! The place was very busy and it seemed the employees were stress and very aggravated except for one younger female! Our food was made wrong two different times and was finally prepared correctly but the employee seemed really upset with us for complaining however it wasn't what we order!
On top of that there was a male employee who pants were extremely tight to where u could see his gentils! His shirt was not long enough to cover the situation! The females shirts were a good bit longer than his seemed to be! I had 2 younger children who question why was his pants like that! He brought our food to the car and that was the main thing we seem through the window! I was very disgusted and appalled that his pants are allowed!
I doubt we will return to this location in concord, nc again I will driver the extra 20 minutes if the kids want to come back!

Ordered chili cheese tots got fries ordered large drink got medium also waited about 15 minutes for my order, this sonic is horrible I work at the mill next door and isually chose the gas station or subway, the wait times are horrible you will wait 5 minutes for a drink most of the time our guys usually skip sonic at lunch because the wait times are too long, I ordered 2 pancake on a sticks and drink about a month ago and sat there for literally 15 minutes before the manager came out and said they didn't have any thawed but my drink was free, I worked at this sonic for almost 2 years under the original owner group they came in trained us properly and we rarely had wait times over 5 minutes and had great secret shopper scores, i'm sure the current scores are low if not i'm surprised, there 7 other cars on the lot and the girl said we are in rush, either way 15 minute wait times are ridiculous I go to this sonic once a month maybe because everytime I have horrible service, please get these people trained or bring in a new crew or gm, we have very few options in this town to eat and I enjoy all other sonica this one however has had bad service for about 3-4 years now also I was in stall 22 at 8:53 5/31/17 chk 321

I reluctantly decided to dine at the Sonic Drive in closest to my home, despite the fact that I have never had even remotely decent service here, I gave it one last try. I have dined here 9 times total now and not once have I ever received either my full order or my correct order. This visit was no different. I am allergic to lime therefore I never order Cherry limeade only sprite w/ cherry flavor added. I received cherry limeade. I ordered a chicken strip dinner, I received extremely hardened and room temperature chicken strips which ultimately weren't even edible. When the carhop delivered my food orders ( ordered for a family of 3) he let me know that they didn't put an onion ring in my order bc " there wasn't any dropped " when I said " if somebody orders something that needs to be fried don't you think there should be some "dropped" ? " he agreed and said he would bring one right out. After waiting 5 minutes on top of the first 15 I had already waited he never returned, I rang the service button to ask about the status, again was told it would be right out. Fast forward 10 minutes and still no onion ring. Its not the single onion ring here that is the issue any longer, its the fact that I was told I would receive the missing item in my order and was told to wait and it never came therefore making all 3 orders of food completely cold by the time I got the food back home. The service at this sonic is the worst I have ever encountered. I worked for sonic for 4 years at a total of 3 locations and none of them would allowed this kind of carelessness, or crappy service. If you are in the KCMO area and are wanting an oreo blast or anything off of the sonic menu for that matter DO. NOT. GO TO THE 8227 Wornall Rd, Kansas City, MO 64114 LOCATION!

unauthorized credit card charges
My long time friend is disabled due to bone cancer. He has difficulty walking or even leaving his second floor apartment. His bank informed him he had less money in his account than he had thought. Upon further investigation he found numerous charges to Sonic drive-in on his debit card. He had not visited a Sonic as his diet does not permit such foods. He contacted Sonic and was told that there was nothing they could do because the purchases were made on-line. Apparently you can make a purchase on-line and you do NOT have to show your card when you pick up your order. Therefore anyone can call in or go on-line and pay with anyone's card and offer no proof that they own the card. I believe this to be negligent on Sonics part. At the very least they should ask to see the card that was used for the purchase. Instead Sonic doesn't care in you are using a stolen card or not. They just want the money in their pocket.

First time visiting the sonic at 6206 E. Broad Street Columbus Ohio and I will never go back. There were absolutely no customers so I pulled up in the drive-through. It took the girl a minute to acknowledge me. Tried to place an order for a small heath sonic blast. I had to repeat several times and then she repeated it back as a slushy and asked me what flavor I wanted. This continued with me telling her a small heath sonic blast over and over and she could never get it so I told her never mind and I went to Dairy Queen.
banana split
I would have never gotten a banana split at the el campo texas sonic if I would have known it comes in a damn cup! Not in a banana split boat, but crammed in a cup! The toppings all messed up. It was nothing but ice cream in a cup with a half of a banana on each side and the toppings all mixed up and poured on top! Very disappointed and will never get another one. I will drive to dairy queen next time.
drive thru window
I go thru drive thru and wait for someone to take my order, no one ever asks so I start to say "hello" several times, no one answers. I decide to drive up to window and notice six employees, two talking to each other one filling supplies another two checking their cell phones and the other just walking around but no one comes to the window! No one even looks at me at the window. I just stare in and finally Jarah comes and asks what I ordered and I tell her nothing because no one ever took my order.
The last two times I have gone to Sonic have been the worst, this place is bad going to worse.

I just don't understand why no one there is actually doing their job, not sure there is a supervisor there and I did not want to call them to complain if no one wanted to take my order don't think they want my complaint.
not taking my money
So I went to a sonic and I tried to pay my food with a 100 but the manager and the general manager did not want to take my money just because it was and old 100 I think is rude to make me wait almost 40 minutes just to tell me they couldn't take my money. I mean if it's money that shouldn't be a problem it was business for them but they refused. I will not be going back to any sonic. The sonic I went to is located at 2412 S. We went to the Sonic #1530 and was there 2 minutes before happy hour ended - ok my bad for getting there so close to the time being over - but asked if the price was still valid and was told no...so ok we'll order some food - our food came and we were checking to make sure it was correct as we have had it delivered incorrectly - thought we'd give them ONE more try - while we were checking to make sure it WAS correct the server - Marisa stated "it's not my fault if it's not what you ordered - I don't cook the burgers" and plopped my change in my hand and abruptly left - we had to call push the button to ask for ketchup and our receipt - needless to say we will not be going back to this location

My wife and I decided to go out for a good Hamburger. I had been seeing all the Sonic commercials on TV (NBA Playoffs) and after looking up the customer ratings for Hamburgers decided to go to the relatively new Riverton Utah location.
1. The order taker was untrained. Didn't know if you had Gluten Free buns, or if you did wraps. He didn't know the menu, didn't know how to show a cup of water (in lieu of a drink) nor did he know the sizes of the shakes.
2. While we were waiting for our order, a worker came out with someone else's order. That customer had left in frustration before their order was ready.
3. When our order arrived, No ketchup was offered, No fork came with my wife's gluten free hamburger. (There was no wrap nor gluten free bun)
There were no knives for her to cut up her hamburger. She had to truthfully hold the patty in her hand and eat it like a pig.
The french fries were cold.
4. The food was a complete disappointment. My hamburger (double cheese) was sloppy and the bread fell apart.
5. There were no refills on the drinks, at least non offered.
Overall, we were extremely disappointed and I had to apologize to my wife for taking here to such a poor eating experience.
Not to mention, I think this was pretty pricey for a hamburger joint.
We'll not go back again.
We wanted a good hamburger. OK...but then...Gluten free, NBA playoff - recommended, this business about a "wrap" and then, (god forbid) a "sloppy" hamburger? Oh heavens. I'm still laughing my butt off. Your wife is less than one in 10, 000 white people who are actually gluten sensitive - or is she just another sucker case? A "good" hamburger in a wrap? WTF is that? Clue: it's not a "hamburger." And hamburgers (at least on planet Earth) are supposed to be "sloppy." Otherwise it's a dried up piece of nothing. If that's what you want? you order "nothing on it." And any hamburger'll do.
Obviously, for starters, babe, you wouldn't know a good hamburger if it hit you in the face. It was a waste of time, wasn't it? (And I agree Sonics are junk, but not for any reason you'd understand). .
refund
My mother and I ate at Sonic on 4/5/17 in Winter Haven, Florida. Our bill was incorrect. The manager took off the $6.39 Wacky Pack. I asked her for the receipt for the refund and she was unable to provide it. Her name was Kelly. When I got my credit card statement, the refund wasn't on there. I have attached a photo of the original receipt.
Very disappointed. I live in Michigan and have no way to go back to the Sonic where the problem happened.

I had gone to your location at Santee California, and had ordered my 3 desserts at about 9:45, and had waited about 40 min, had not received our order, called again and ordered, waited 20 min, called again, and then they had sent a server out to explain that they had lost our receipt. So, we had asked if we could be given our order for free, and they had rejected our request. After we were told they rejected our request, we decided to not take the order, and left mad and unsatisfied. Is there anything you can do?

I visited your Westside Jacksonville FL location 6350 103rd St Jacksonville, FL 32210 today at 3:30pm to enjoy a meal with my family and it turned in turmoil. When we got to the location we noticed that it took us over thirty minutes to order. When I stopped one of the car hops to ask why they weren't answering the speakers he stated they were short staffed and some one would answer shortly. Me having worked at sonic before its fast food and I know every sonic normally has great services , I just prepared for the wait. So when our food got delivered it wasn't on a tray nor did I get a receipt. Then notice my family order was wrong we asked for a number 3 with no onions we got number 1 with bacon. so when I stopped our car hop and advise him of the mistake and asked him if he wanted the incorrect burger back he said no and said he would come right back. I continued to feed our children and wait when 20 mins past I relies the car hop not only walked past my table three time he didn't correct my order. When I proceed to ask him when was the corrected burger coming he stated I needed to speak with the manger. so now that its been over 20 minutes later I'm frustrated, I proceed to speak with the shift manager explaining my issue. The manager who claimed him name is Henry Jones(after asking about 3 employee's and him over 7 times what is his name when he became unprofessional)stated he need the other food back, which was fine however I explained that he and his employee are saying two different thing. He then stated the car hop is overexerted and didn't know the correct procedures but he would get the matter resolved, so my brother in-aw return the incorrect food and I explained to him I understood everyone at that current time is over work and they are short staffed but that doesn't mean treat the customer any kind of way and extend the pressure THEIR feelings on to customers to get them out of their face. so I returned the old burger back and waited on a new burger. The manager come back with the corrected burger but as he put the brown bag on the table he stated with his finger pointing at me" I don't have to help you if you yell at me ever again", I stated "are you really going to threaten a customer". My sister and her husband ask him why was he a manager saying any of this. I proceed to ask for him name over 7 times letting him know I was going to report him he refuse even after asking a young lady employee what his name was and district manager name was no one would give me his name and the district manger name. Finally when I walked to the door and pushed it opened I asked for his name again. When I told him I was calling corporate he finally wrote his name down which I believe was not real information and stated he was calling the police. No one was wearing visible name tags (I have never seen this done before at any sonic). So I waited on the office to show up and spoke with the officer about this issue however since it was a civil issue it was nothing the office could do. The officer advise and my family to raise awareness of the issue with the company cause he was sure sonic wouldn't have tolerance this behavior from any manager or employee. I want to end this email by saying I have never ever experience anything like this at any of sonic locations I have visited and never expected to. I normally spend my time writing about great customer services however this is an exception and out of 12 or 14 times I go to sonic through out the year I am thinking I can say if this is allowed I won't be returning another one again.

My husband and I stopped at the Sonic in Atkins Arkansas on May 7 2017 pushed the button to order 2 large cokes (which we think is over priced 5.02), we waited at least 3 mins for them to answer then it took at least 5 mins or more we really do not know we pushed the button again after 5 mins and they did not answer so we left no cokes nothing.. we were tired of waiting... 2 drinks should not take that long.. I use to work at that very same Sonic, it never took me that long to run just drinks out...terrible service!
rude shift manager
While dining at the Sonic in Crestview, Florida we were telling the shift manager that our order was wrong. She began talking very loud and attempting to argue that we were wrong. I informed her that we had ordered 3 bacon cheeseburger. We received 2 cheeseburger not 3 and there was no bacon on them that we were charged for. She said she could fix 2 burgers and we would be charges for another burger. I will no longer eat with my family at any Sonic.

On may 7 /2017 time around five pm my wife I stop in to get a shake. We went in the dinning area to drink it. It was the dirties place I ever eat. Flies in lights shades, floor look like it was never wash, windows need wash,
The kitchen was very dirty. This place is in need of much repairs.
If the health department inspected this place there would shut down. No question in my mind.
Sonic team is letting the customer down. I would be a shame to call this place sonic.

state of the restaurant and service
Today I went to order from the Sonic in Rockmart Ga. Unfortunately as usual it was not a pleasant experience. First I sit out at one of the drive up ordering stations for 10 mins with no one answering after pushing the button multiple times. I finally walked up to the door and knocked to have one come take my order. Once completing my order I waited and additional 13 mins before receiving my food which was only a grilled cheese, tater tots and dr. pepper. I was informed that the drive up station that I was at and multiple others are not working. I asked to speak to a manager that seemed to not car that I had waited that long and simple said that had sticky notes posted on the stations that were out of order and they must have blown away. After talking with the manager I drove around the parking lot and seen six stations that appeared to be out of order hanging down or have wires hanging out of them. My experience today 5/6/2017 has left me with such a sour taste in my mouth that I will not visit another Sonic our spend my money there as customer service is of no concern to them. I would simply hope that yall would see this complaint and take some action to correct the problems that this specific location has and any other that have the same problems before you turn all your customers away. I stopped by there and ordered a toaster, with 2 ultimate burritoes and some tots. When i asked about the tots and how much they were, the employee in a smartass way told me its on the menu. I then asked for the manager, since that was rude and really bad customer service. I think something really needs to be addressed about this. I appreciate you assistance on this issue and yes I did talk with manager (over mic, hope they would understand and come out and talk to me about that which is what they should have done) Thanks for your time.
