I went to my local sonic in Manchester, Tennessee during happy hour after school. I was prepared to wait longer than usual because it was during happy hour. 10-15 minutes passes and I'm still waiting. Finally I see a girl by the name of Alisha standing behind my stall menu for at least 3 or so minutes and she finally passes to where I can see her and places her cell phone in her back pocket. That is NO way to handle customers by making them wait even longer because she needed to check a snapchat. Inexcusable.
service and food
On multiple occasions I have been to the Sonic in Tatum, Texas and had extremely slow service and the food is not up to the standard of other Sonics in the surrounding area. However, it is a small town and sometimes it is just convenient. Today I pulled up and pushed the button to order my food at #13. I sat in my car waiting but 4 minutes later, no response at all so I pressed the button again. No response again another 4 minutes later. There were no other cars at other bays and only 2 in the drive through. I did not have time to keep waiting so I had to leave to get to work.
I have found that early in the am and later in the evening the service is worse. I think perhaps the staff are ready to get out of there in the evening but the morning, maybe they are still half asleep.
burrito meal
I ordered the breakfast burrito meal believing it was an actual burrito and looked somewhat like what is advertised. What I got was a tortilla that made up at least half the burrito, waded up into a square with hardly anything inside. It was also half tortilla with hardly and egg or sausage. I was so upset with what I got. I remember these things being big, filling and something I really enjoyed and that's why I came to Sonic to order it. I'm disappointed in what I received and I felt like I needed to let someone know so someone else doesn't get that same meal. Hopefully you can reach out to this location and do something about it.
ice cream machine is always down bad service
At night when we go like around maybe 9 or so they always say that their machines down they don't have ice cream or they never have certain stuff for the slushes and it's like any other Sonic around the area that we go to they always have everything in there always nice and smiling but here where we live in Forest it's a shame that you have to go so far to go to the Sonic where you have one here in town and they always have attitudes and act like they don't want to work and like I say when you want something like that night you know they said the half price milkshakes and they don't have the machines not working or they ready clean their machine and they'd be no cuz they're about to close supposedly and it's like they close at 11 but they turn the machine off by 10 so you know then why have all those offers announcing them on TV or announcing them on their little bored saying that there's no offers and they you can get half-price milkshakes if they don't know their machines not working and it's always like that so I was just writing because we're it my family and me and really enjoyed Sonic and if they could just be more you know nice people would have maybe want to go to Sonic we go anyways because you know the food is good but but if they put their you know team work together and they could probably prepare things you know sometimes the hamburgers are cold but you know we keep going because really you know like Sonic but thank you for letting me just say what I think and just wanted to write and really you know that whoever is in charge of all the sonics know what's going on here in are town
the managers are not serve safe and are very rude to there employees
the gm of hamilton alabama is very rude and always cussing when she comes in to work.the gm or assistant managers are not serve safe and said they dont care.they never wear gloves or use sanitizer and never take the ice cream machines apart and clean them i have seen black mold in them and they still serve it. i have seen several of the workers drop food in the floor and still use it and the carhops would use a spoon to scrape whip off of the ice cream and send it back out.until they get a call from another sonic that the audit or health inspector is coming they never have sanitizer or have anything clean.they cook all food up in the morning and use it all day until the audit comes in then they throw it out.chicken as been completely thowed out and they still use it.they are having to use a cord in the ceiling to run all the monitors.plus none of the employees wash there hands unless the health inspector is there.there is no air conditioner system there so they leave all of the doors open at all times.i believe something is to be done about this place if not close the doors because there has been a lot of people getting sick off of the food and the ice cream.

We visited the sonic on 25th street in Cleveland, Tn. About 45 minutes ago. They were advertising the new ultimate chicken club sandwich on a brioche bun for $6.99. So that's what I ordered. We got 2 combos and wanted them both upsized. The man on the speaker was having trouble understanding us so after 5 minutes of him trying to understand what we are wanting, a lady came out and asked us to specify what we wanted bc the man couldn't understand us. We told her what we wanted and We read it straight off the menu board. I also asked for only cheese mayo and bacon on it. She said okay and walked back in while we sat there waiting for our total which wasn't given to us. We waited about 10 minutes for our food and the man who brought it to us didn't greet us at all. Also we didn't receive a receipt on the bag. When I opened up my sandwich, it was on toast. We went through the drive thru and the man who brought it out, who was rude to begin with, looked confused but we told him I wanted it on the bun he said okay. Turned around and closed the window. He then came back and said it would be 5 minutes and to pull up to a stall and they'd bring it out. About 5 minutes later they brought out my sandwich. He didnt say sorry or anything. As he walked away I opened my sandwich and same exact thing. On toast. At this point our tots and my husbands burger was cold and we were just done. My husband walked up to the front and when the man who handed us our food came out, my husband explained to him again, what we were ordering . The man told him when they hit the club on the computer system it comes up on toast. What's crazy to me is, you're advertising the club on a brioche bun, so why do they not know about the special? He was very rude and went in and put it on a bun. It was covered in mayo. I mean so much so, that after being there for 45 minutes it was all for nothing and I couldn't even eat it. Mayo was all over the outside of the bun and the wrapper. Absolutely rude staff and terrible customer service.
unsatisfactory food
I was at the sonic in Waverly TN on April 20, 2017. I ordered a wacky pack for my granddaughter. Her fries were cold and she was nor given a toy at all. I also visited this same location on 4/26/17 @ 8:45 pm. I ordered a new York dog with no onions. I received a uncooked hot dog. The end had been cut off of it with a knife and it was also cold. I am trying to support my local businesses but I refuse to keep giving money to this location with bad results. I would appreciate some reimbursement for the bad food.
sausage, egg, and cheese toaster
I purchased 2 sausage, egg, and cheese toasters this morning April 27, 2017 @ 7:37a.m. from the Sonics I'm Hazlehurst MS 39083. My complaint is that the sausages where extremely too salty whereas I couldn't enjoy either sandwich after taking a bite out of each one. I am not satisfied with this and it is not good service. I really don't think I will be returning. Thank you

My son has been going to sonic for his first job. They are hiring and the manager had told him to go buy his pants and shoes and come back. He did. Then she said come back tomorrow to do paperwork. He did. She then ask for his social security card and he dod not have it with him he had his birth certificate and his drivers license. She was a smart elic asking him why he was waiting outside the door on the patio area on her saying he wasn't going to work there was he! Then told him he wasn't prepared and was no use to him and that he needed to leave Nd have a nice life! My child is a polite 16 year old and I don't know if it's because he's black or what but I am furious! I am a manager for yum brands and will be taking this as far as I can. There is no reason anyone should treat a child like that. If she didn't want him for the position then she should have not gave him the runaround and been very rude to him!

I have been ordering a apple juice slush since yall took it away almost 10 years ago . i was charged for the box of apple juice and the slush totalling up to 3.33. I have gotten this with no problem for like 10 years. The sonic on 11th street in Huntsville tx all of a sudden tells me out of rhe blue they could not make it. Now that is the only drink i have evwr ordered. So u can imagine how disappointed i was .

He sonic located in Wichita Kansas at 37th and N woodlawn is one of the slowest Sonics I've ever been to! They normally don't answer the box for up to 3 minutes. Also the trash outside is completely full on a daily basis. They do not have good management or these issues would have been addressed a long time ago! My ex jeremy weaver and i had run the sonic drive in located in ark city Kansas and Winfield. So I'm not just speaking without having first hand knowledge. I've waited 15 minutes in the drive thru before. I really wish you would clean this location up. I have been a loyal customer for over 6 yrs and sometimes I question why. Just this morning I ordered a large diet cherry limeade with extra ice. They repeated the order however when I got it. It literally had 1/4 cup of ice in it. Just please do something about this store!
customer service and extremely long wait time
I visited Sonic today 4/23/17 around 1:40 pm. The location is located at 11250 Westhiemer Rd Houston Tx 77042. I purchased food for $29.18 and the receipt shows location # 3258. After waiting for my food mfor approximately 30 minutes, I decided to speak with the staff. When I went up to the building. The waitress Courtney came out to speak with me. When she opened the door, I started to smell marijuana. I informed her " t We had been waiting a while, and I was wondering how much longer it will take/" She then proceeded to tell me that she is the only one there and is doing the best that she can. I then asked her "Why does it smell like weed in there?" Courtney then reported "Not in here, your welcome to step in and see." I looked into the building and was appalled at the look of the kitchen. I noticed it was dirty and the light was falling down from the ceiling. At that point, I started to debate with myself if the food would be alright for me and my children to eat. I decided to wait a little longer for my order, so I returned to my car. After another 15 mins, and my order still did not come, I went back to speak with the staff. Courtney again came out. I informed her " I would like to cancel my order." She then said ok and went back into the building. When she came out she had the receipt and reported "I refunded your money, here it is on the receipt. I need this copy for my records." I told her "I would like a copy." She then mumbled an explicative under her breath and walked back into the building. She came back a few minutes later and stated "I can't print a copy." I told her "Ok, then I will just take a picture of it." She brought me the receipt and held it up. I attempted to take a photo but could not get a clear shot due to the breeze, so I reached for the receipt to steady it and stated "Can you move your finger, I can't see the name." Courtney snatched the receipt away and said " I know how to move my finger." I was confused and appalled by her behavior, I said "Ok, no problem I just want a picture." Courtney continued to hold the receipt behind her back and stated "I know how to move my finger." Again I repeated. "Ok, I just want a picture, that's all." Courtney continued to hold the receipt behind her back, she started starring at me, not moving and said "I'm gonna give it you." But she never did, she just kept it behind her back. Judging that this interaction has taken a terrible turn for the worse, and noting the agitation and irritation in Courtney face and composure. I decided to walk away. I told her " God Bless you." I did check my bank balance upon returning home to ensure the food was refunded. However, the customer service I received today was horrid. I am a 40 year old well composed woman, not much can rattle me, however I can't imagine Courtney doing this to another customer. I thought long and hard about filing a complaint, and if I do what could possibly be done about this. I don't want credits, I am not seeking anything from you. I just implore you to visit this location as a secret shopper and experience the poor customer service for yourself and inspect the food preparation area. Then offer training, training for the owner/manager to hire staff that are customer service driven, and training for the current staff on how to de-escalate situations. All I wanted was food, not a stare down, not an agreement, not a stand off. As for myself, I nor anyone I know will ever visit this location again. Thank you for you time

shake spilling
On the night of April 22, 2017. I went to the sonic drive thru by my house to treat myself to a half price shake. I ordered a shake and 2 other drinks, when I went up to receive my drinks the employee never made eye contact with me. When she brought me my drinks, they filled my shake way to high and it had no top on it so when she handed it down to me the shake spilled all over my pants. She never apologized which made me a very angry customer. This is the first incident I've ever had with Sonic. I'm just dissapointed that the employee didn't even apologize or care that my shake had spilled.

Good morning or afternoon. On the night of April 22nd of 2017, I went to purchase a Custard Reese's banana. I asked not to add whip cream on my product and the car hop came back with whip cream. They said they would change it but they assumed I was stupid. So she went inside wiped the whip cream off and came back not even 1 min later. Car hop name was Evelina. And they were laughing at me from inside looking at me as she walked back towards my car. I felt embarrassed you '' corporate staff" need to take some action against those kind of attitudes. Ordered #7 with mustard and onions. Car hop brought it to me without mustard or onions .so I called back in store and told them of the mistake.car hop came out got the extra long Coney. Took it back into the store. When she brought it back .it was totally covered in mustard and onions .I mean I had to literally rake most of it off just so I could even try to eat it.

I live in a different county in which I work, and i’ve noticed that they do things a lot different than most sonic drive in's. For instance, the $.99 morning drink and happy hour. They always charge an up charge of $.30 with any regular flavor (I. E. Grape peach, strawberry) just one flavor, so I guess the half price and $.99 only applies to the ice with no flavor.?!
Their attitudes on the other hand aren't the best but not the worst over the intercom either, but could use some work on their professional level.

I went to the sonic drive through in Grants pass oregon last night for dinner. I ordered 3 foot longs and cheese bites. We pay and get to the window to get are food. The lady at the window was extremely rude and pushy to get us out of line. We left and then realized they forgot are cheesy bites. We went back in the line and were told we had to pay again. We clearly had the reciept and just went through the line. We showed them we have not touched the food yet. We were still told to to pay. Why should we pay for an item we did not receive that we paid for? I'm livid and want reimburse. The lady refused and told us to leave. I am so dissapinted sonic would hire such incompetent ### that steal customers money.
carhop mistakes pathetic.
I went to the sonic of Valley here in Las Cruces, NM yesterday [protected]. I ordered 6 mozerella sticks and a soda. Now, I get sonic every other day, I either get a soda, for me, a tea or one for each of the people in my car. I also buy wings once a week or so. I am a loyal customer. What I am complaining about today is too different things that are kinda common sense and I have already talked to managers about one of them and it is still happening. So, I bring this to you yet again. The first one is change. When you give a car-hop money you expect you change, why do they feel the need to keep it? (This one I have talked to a few managers and even car hops about) but they tend to see the need to just keep it. I understand they may be underpaid but for one they picked the job, and two it's not right to "steal" From customers. The sad part is sometimes it's only a few cents. That's not the problem the problem is the idea behind it. A few cents later on could lead to more.
The next issue is small but concerning. The lady dropped the straw on the ground (Where there has been cars, and who knows what else maybe dog poop? She had the nerve to ask if we wanted that one or to get another one? Why would someone in their right mind want to use that straw?
Some of these car-hops really concern me and the mangers that are not watching them.
Please from a loyal customer get this addressed. I will still go there this will not stop me from getting my tea's because it's something I really enjoy but I am having to go higher to corporate because these people here do not seem to care and maybe nobody else has the time or patience to talk about it but I do. I've worked in fast food and I understand how important little stuff is and being a team leader myself I would have written her up over the straw, and the change issue they would have been fired.
employee theft at 5895 hwy 49, hattiesburg, ms
One three separate occasions we were shorted in change and received inferior product. The same employee each and every time, all after 8pm. Shakes were not made to order, this last time making both of us ill. This employee short changed us the first time by three dollars on a twenty. It was not caught until we got home, so we took no action. The second time the employee was confronted after leaving the vehicle, and we called him back. The money was returned. The third time he was asked to wait before leaving so we could count the change. Again 2 dollars short, only one was returned and as he struggled to count out change, we told him to forget it. We also told him our Shakes were made incorrectly. He acted as though we were speaking a foreign language and walked off, never to return. We drank the Shakes which were not even well mixed, and 30 mins later felt nauseated, and had diarrhea. This employee wore no identification. Very tall, blond male working after 8pm. After complaining to several friends about our experience..we live in a resort for retirees...we found several people who had very similar experiences with this same employee and one other. Their complaints have been ignored. We have decided to stop allowing this abuse of senior customers by going public. Let this be your notice, there has been a boycott called for, and a group who are going to start keeping the details of each bad transaction, and filing BBB complaints as well as posting on consumer complaint forums until this situation receives the attention it deserves.

My daughter and I ordered a master blast and a Coke Zero 15 MINUTES AGO. There are only 3 other customers at this location it seems absurd to wait this long and pay $6.97 for two drinks. This is not a rush at this location. We are at stall number two currently waiting. Ridiculous. We would probably choose another option for a treat for our family. Disappointed, wish this was the same sonic service that it used to be. Got our drinks at 7:09 placed order at 6:48 wow!
