Kroger - customer service

This Kroger store has the worst customer service than any other's I've experienced. The employees there act like we're some kind of obligation to them while they are between calls on their cell phones.

The selection has dwindled to what Kroger wants you to have, since they push their own products.

I had the worst experience last night. The store was busy, and only 2 lanes were open. Because of the long lines, a Kroger employee told us that we could check out at the express lane. While we were waiting, the cashier rudely said that we had too many groceries and to find another line. She ignored us when we told her that a kroger employee told us to go to that lane. After she was finished with the cusotmer she had, she REFUSED to check us out.

We left, but on the way out, after a nasty comment from myself (no cussing), was plain RUDE. My attitude was in response to the lack of service I was receiving..and the cashier's attitude. The supervisor, was in agreement with the cashier. We couldn't find the employee that told us to go to the express lane, but the point is that we were given rude treatment from the beginning.

With this type of service, it's only a matter of time before companies like this file bankruptcy. They can for all I care. It's about time for customer service to make a comeback, and employees who are deliberately rude should be terminated.

I am a dedicated shopper in the Kroger store in Garner NC and i was in there tonight (Saturday [protected]) and there was two employees standing around talking to each other non work related and they had called for help and made other people do their job. I am sorry but to me that is selfish and not very smart, they are being paid to work not to stand around and talk. It is not just tonight, i have noticed this happens a lot on Saturday nights and i know all the people they call up have their own work to do and don't need to be doing other peoples jobs. I regret to say this but if something is not done soon about this issue, i will not be shopping for this company anymore, not even at other locations, i will gladly go to food lion or Harris Teeter. I will also ask my friends and family to let other people know about this indecent and not to shop there anymore either and let their friends and family know as well. you will loose a lot of dedicated customers. So please take action with those employees that don't do work. Since i don't know their names im sure you have cameras and can look then you on the camera. I will also keep complaining as well until something is done! thank you so much.

In the deli department at the Kroger Collierville, Tn, The workers in that department are very lazy and have no customer service skills what so ever. They act like you offend them when you ask for there help. They will let you stand in front of the food case and look right at you and wait for you to ask for service. I was recently in this store to buy deli meat, against my better judgement, and they were so rude. First, I wanted a certain kind of ham. Deli worker said they "had no mo o dat" but there was a full unopened stock of the ham I wanted and the deli worker said "I can't open dat we out". Finely another worker came up and they whispered back and forth for a minute or two and after 7 minutes of back and forth, I got my ham on the slicer.

I don't understand your complaint. Why are you so worried about the employees? Mind your own business! If these employees who are being called up front have a problem...let them speak up for themselves.
