On Wed. August 2.2023 at approximately 19:10 I had seeked help at the Riggs Rd. Alberton's for a return of item that was placed with a sale price on the shelf that came up at full price on my slip.I wanted to find out and was sent from one person to the next until I finally got to speak to Gina .,WHO WAS ACTING MANAGER. Gina said," it was not on sale and the item must have been placed in wrong area but the other items from same company were on sale".I asked for credit. This was fine and after I got into my auto I looked at slip, saw I did not get my Senior discount so returned to store where cashires Melissa and Anna were discussing their break time.I waited for discussion to end and told them about error also.They proceeded to tell me I needed to come back tomorrow that Gina was doing something else and they were short on staff.
I explained that I had to come in this morning due to an over charge and did not want to have to come back again a third time.The said," I had to as no one could help me."Gina was busy and again they were short on staff.Mean while the registers were empty and maybe a handfull of people in the store.
I have been a loyal customer of Albertson's for many years and have not had so much inconvenience as in this past week.
I am a senior and can not keep making Albertson's a daily trip when I was there and could have been helped.
This, I hope can be addressed as I do not want other seniors to have to face these inconsiderate workers .
