Mitsubishi - Used car sales / customer service

To whom it may concern,

On March 7, 2021 I purchased a 2013 Mini Cooper S from Auto Gallery Mitsubishi in Corona, CA.
The car was sold as being in no accidents, per the salesman, witnessed by my girlfriend and we were given a clean CarFax. I had issues from the beginning of purchase procedure. The car was listed at $7,975, off the bat it went up $2,950 for Dealer add ons - Cash Price accessories (Paint Protection and Lojack). When spotted, I asked them to remove it, they said they could not, but then reluctantly agreed to drop it by $1,000

I asked about returning the car and was told I could be given 72 hours, they failed to inform me that it would be at a cost of $250. Again, this was not disclosed until it was spotted at signing.

Upon driving car a bit I noticed a hissing sound coming from passenger side, it seemed to get worse if A/C was on. I looked in very very close detail at door and noticed a bad repair job, not only was the bondo was visible, paint is uneven and the passenger inner window channel cover and outer weather strip need replacement. I called the dealership and spoke to Sam Smash, the manager at Auto Gallery Mitsubishi. I asked him to please email me the 27 point inspection report performed at the dealership, but he basically told me to return the car, and that I would be charged a restocking fee. I expressed to him I did not wish to return the car, I just would like the issues repaired. I brought up some negative Yelp reviews to him, Mr. Smash laughed and told me he had taken enough time off his multi dollar business to talk to me and got off the phone. Not too long after, Mr. Smash called me back and had emailed the 27 point inspection report and guided me to Aaron at used car service department, Auto Gallery Mitsubishi Corona to get it looked at and repaired.

Upon reviewing the 27 point inspection report, none of these issues were documented.

On March 19, 2021 I had a 9 am appointment with Aaron to review the issues. The customer service at the service desk was not professional nor welcoming. I was told to hand over keys and to have a seat and Aaron would look at car when he had time, in approximately 2-3 hours. I reiterated that I had an appointment with Aaron not for repair, but for him to inspect and discuss the repairs/timeline. After waiting for over 30 minutes, I went looking for Aaron and asked him to look at car. I pointed out the poor door repair to Aaron and he said "we are not required to report minor accidents", he completely ignored the fact that the car had in fact been hit and passenger door repaired. He then proceeded to ask me to leave and stated he would not work on my car and walked away.
At that point, I walked into the Dealership and personally spoke with Mr. Smash, I explained to events to him, he informed me that he would speak with Aaron and would call me back shortly with a solution.
No call ever received.

I proceeded to email Mr. Smash asking about a resolution to the issue on March 23, 2021, but he again, did not respond.

I inquired with an attorney who recommend I take the car to a repair shop to get an estimate and forward that to the dealership. On March 30, 2021 I took the car to Brea Auto Body Inc. Jim, at the body shop immediately noticed the poor repairs to the right door. I was given an estimate to repair the air-leak. That estimate was sent over to Mr. Smash the same day, March 30, 2021.

To date, I have not received a call or email from Mr. Smash or anyone at Auto Gallery Mitsubishi Corona.
Again, I do not have issues with the car other than the air-leak and poor repair of door. I am beyond disgusted with the lack of professionalism and customer service at Auto Gallery Mitsubishi Corona.
