This man was approached not once, twice, but three times by 3 cashiers to please help resolve my issue of simply correcting a $5 discrepancy--I waited more than 30 minutes before leaving without resolution. I witnessed him disregard these requests and instead choosing to stay at the self-check out line where he was not busy at all until I approached him he pretended to be helping someone and it was obviously nothing the customer could have asked anyone else to help with--he could have easily had somebody cover the self-check out for 2 minutes--I also observed many subordinates were standing around with nothing to do other than just waiting for people to get in their line (baggers and checkers)

I don't know what I did that made this supervisor decide he did not like me and therefore would torture me by having me wait with my 6 year old son and all of our ice cream melting. I was being very respectful and cordial to every worker I dealt with until I realized what he was doing on purpose at which point I simply asked him who his boss is and he became overly defensive and played dumb. I don't understand how someone like him would have this position overseeing a great group of workers who are likely going to lose morale and already there are signs of low productivity which will continue to degrade the quality of service if this store chooses to keep this person in charge.

I have been a shopper at this location for years, well no more. The Starbucks kiosk has a new manager by the name of Kathy, in one 5 minute period I watched her commit 8 health code violations, my work involes saftey and sanitation, something she knows nothing about. she constantly yells and is rude to customers, slow as can be, I have waited up to 15 minutes for one drink, and most of the time they are made wrong, on several occasions I have seen more than one customer complain about them only to have her have to remake a drink. one week there was a sign up, it listed all the items that they were out of and drinks that could not be made because of it. another time I went in for a grande drink, I was told they were out of grande sized drink cups...just who is doing the ordering here? Most of the time I hear the employees page her to come to the front, she leaves them alone with no help while she sits in back for hours.
I have seen drug deals at this store, on the side of the store, where the trash dumpsters are; normally you would think well we can't controll the public, no, try these are Vons employees, in uniform and on duty, taking trash out or getting carts, and then buying drugs from people in broad daylight.
I have listened to employees in different departments in the store complain that they had to work OFF the clock. so scheduled til 9, clock out and then work another hour off the clock cleaning? I told the person that was there that if they had a union they should call, that is an illegal practice. This girl looked at me and said I know but ALL the departments do it; her friend told me that he had had to work through breaks and off the clock on so many occasions that it wasn't even worth complaiming about. Well it is and I am. Not only will I not shop at any of the stores owned by Vons or affiliated, (your prices are way too high anyhow, but I will actually drive another 2 miles down the road to shop), but my friends and family have aggreed, you dont care enough about the people who work for you or the customers who shop there to make it a safe environment. It makes me sick that all these young kids working there are being treated like garbage, they work too hard, its a shame.
