Albertsons

This complaint is in regards to receiving horrible customer service and guidance by the supervisor of Albertsons on E Willow Street in Long Beach, CA. I walked into this Albertsons on Sunday night 12/13/2020 around 7pm. I had purchased a few items from another Albertsons location on Saturday, 12/12/2020. I patiently stood in line to return. When I got to the front, a young black woman, who was the supervisor, was directing the line and telling each person which cashier to go to. When I got to the front of the line, I told her I had a return is this where I return. She rudely replied you can't return that here. I asked her why she told me, it's store policy and COVID-19 rules. I explained to her I've never had an issue an item at the same store even if it's a different location. I even explained I purchased these items at an out of town Albertsons. She continued to be rude and short with me demanding I need to return the items at the Albertsons I got the items from. As she continued to look away and help other customers as I was talking to her, I asked to speak to the supervisor. She said, "I am the supervisor." I said well can I please speak to the person above you since I'm not getting the proper assistance. She told me the gentleman above her was not in at that time and to call or check back tomorrow to speak with him. I've never had an experience like this shopping at Albertsons. I did not feel welcomed, nor was I addressed in an appropriate manner. I understand the employees might have been busy at this time, but to be cut off and rudely dismissed as a paying customer is unacceptable. I refuse to go back to this Albertsons with the customer service I received this night. I would like to be able to return these items and get my money back without having to drive 4 hours to the Albertsons I originally purchased these items. The items I am trying to return are Christmas items unwrapped and/or with the tag/barcode still on the items. The items were never used. I purchased on Saturday and tried to return that Sunday when I found what I needed at another store. I want to be able to return these items in my hometown.
