My name is Phyllis Gilmore, I am complaining about your staff bad conduct that had my case for two years. And have to solve one thing. Every time I call I get no answer. Lawyer and clients to work together, this is accident and injury my phone number is [protected] I have to ask for break down sheet they offer me a break-down sheet but I never received, they offer me 15000 without any paper work.
Jacoby & Meyers - Did not do their job!
I was in an accident towards the end of 2019. I was hurt and my officemate hooked me up with J&M. They send me to a chiropractor and during my treatment, J&M cut my treatment off so they can "negotiate" with the other insurance (Progressive) of the woman that hit my car. For months and months, I did not hear from them, not even a response to my emails. About a year after the accident I get an 8K settlement on the slow mail from Progressive. I stepped up my correspondence and calls to J&M. I was referred to Joseph Woodward (the negotiator) and he asked for a copy of the offer. He scoffed off the low-ball offer which barely covered my medical bills and their fees. He promised to call Progressive and get an appropriate settlement. About 2 months or so, J&M was so happy to inform me that they are settling my case. Because of Woodward's promise, I assumed the 8K on the J&M settlement form was net of e expenses. It turned out they accepted the original offer that was sent to me! With the 8K divvied up, J&M takes up the lion's share of the proceeds. They did not even NEGOTIATE. I called back J Woodward and he told me he was not with J&M anymore.
Desired outcome: I am willing to give them $1000 as legal fees for their ineptitude.
