LoanMart / Wheels Financial Group - title lending

L Mart and their fraudulent practices need to be investigated criminally. When I took a title debt from them in March 2015 I was told clearly over the phone I could request a payoff total at any time and would pay my principal and the rolling interest. I requested a payoff total in September 2015 and kept asking for it almost daily at the end until Dec 2015 and was NEVER given one. I was also locked out of the website so I could not see my account, and so I could not make payments and thus my debt was late and 800lm tried to reposes the car. On Dec 22nd 2015 I managed to get a printout of the Total Account Balance with Chat Support and then asked the person to take payment and settle my debt ... to my amazement she REFUSED ! 800lm has only offered to move the past due amount to the end of the debt, that is EXTEND the debt to earn extra interest. On Dec 23rd as they refused to take payment, I sent a check via Certified mail and sent their Compliance Department the tracking number. They have yet to acknowledge and release my title, or report the debt as paid in full. That is, they are Illegally keeping my title and debtactive with the intent of figuring out a way to reposes my car and sell it. Mart is part of Wheels Financing Group LLC, they own Money Mart, 800lomart, L Mart, Funeral Funding and a series of shady lending opperations ----- their business is to : * SELL CARS, * Finance the Cars they sell, * but primarily SELL the cars they REPOSES. That is right. The city of San Francisco filed a lawsuit against them in 2007 and won $7.5 million in damages for Illegal Lending Practices. You can contact them at [protected]@sfgov.org I incurred about a thousand in extra interest for the time they refused to give me a payoff total. As of now after paying the total amount listed on the account statement, they have NOT released my title or reported the total as paid in full. I also dispute the interest charges of $271 / month from September to the present and any late fees or other fees they have added . First because I have paid my account balance and almost $500 that was shown as interest and late fees as of Dec 22 Second, because they REFUSED to take payment, and refused to give me a payoff total in September. I spoke to Daniel Figueroa over the phone, made a payment on that call and requested a payoff total. He offered a discounted payoff total and said his manager would approve and call me back within 24hrs. I told him I wanted it by email to have a record. It never came. I also asked Issac Santos many times by email for a payoff total, and asked another 2 female collections / account representatives for a payoff total. Always was told " we will requested' "just call back when ready" I replied I want it now ... then they said "we'll request it and get back to you" Lmart, Wheels Financial Group LCC and all other aka names under which they operate have a long track record of complaints, and illegal practices, lawsuits, and even letters of reprimand and letters of Cease and Desist from the Department of Business Oversight. Yet they change name and / or continue to operate in the illegal fashion which has been documented and reflected in this complaint. Their compliance department's rep Jesson Danny (JD) Compliance Department Wheels Financial Group, LLC | dba LMart LMart National Headquarters, Corporate Office 15821 Ventura Blvd, Suite 280 Encino, CA 91436 Main: [protected] | Direct: [protected] ext. 315 | Fax: [protected] Compliance Department Hours of Operation: 7:00AM – 5:00PM PST [protected]@l...mart.com Has been notified numerous times, I have provided him with the Certified Mail tracking number for the check I sent, as well as a copy of the Account Total Due printed on Dec 22 2015 They need to: Release my title Report the total as "Paid in Full" Refund the overcharged interest from Sept to the present Apologize and reprimand Issac Santos and Daniel Figueroa as well as demonstrate for the public interest that these practices will cease.

LoanMart / Wheels Financial Group - thieves beware loanmart

So, we took out a loan when our kids ended up in the hospital. We made
our payments (missed one in December of 2010 but made it up January 201.
By March 2011 we had paid $5730 off a $6000 Loan. We were forced into
Bankruptcy during which LoanMart received an additional $5461.10 for a
total of 11, 198.10. they then called and said they wanted $20, 000 in
interest more but would settle for $4000. When I offered the rep.
Michelle [protected] an additional $1000 to end this she laughed. I
asked her to send me copies of all my paperwork to take to my lawyer to
see if a deal could be struck. She said she would mail them but instead
she repossessed my car the next morning. BEWARE THIEVES. I HAVE PROOF OF
ALL MY PAYMENTS.

LoanMart / Wheels Financial Group - loansharking - they need to be shut down

This company has got to be shut down! They truly are the ### of the earth. The best advice I can give anyone considering getting a loan from them is this... you would be so much better off to just sell your vehicle. If you get a loan from them you are going to end up paying 3 or 4 times the amount you borrowed. Also, if you miss a payment, they are going to repo your car. Most people end up losing their vehicle after months of making payments. I can see how they get investors for this business, the return on the investment is probably 200-300%! I don't understand why the government has not shut these crooks down. They prey on the people who are desperate. They don't care about anything but the money! IIF ANYONE KNOWS OF A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST THESE CROOKS, PLEASE POST THE INFORMATION SO WE CAN JUMP ON BOARD! THEY HAVE GOT TO BE SHUT DOWN!

Loanmart is a preditory lender. That they are allowed to conduct business in California is direct example of the pig-nosed leaders we elect to protect us at the state and local levels.
California ought be ashamed of itself for granting charter to a company who's sole purpose is to set a citizen up for failure and financial ruin.
Be advised. Be it informed. Don't be fooled. Speak out against the rape and pillage of the lower class.

I don't know of any existing class action suits, but I have a friend who specializes in these specific situations.

You can contact him at info@bwcounsel.com

Good Luck.
