As an existing donor at the Pomona BioLife Center on Rio Rancho Rd., I (along with dozens of other donors) have waited over an hour for a bed. My appointment was 7:40 am on 10/19/2022 and an hour later, I am still waiting to donate. After going to the screening time I shouldn’t be waiting over 30 mins to donate. After nearly an hour and 20 mins, I finally get a bed yet still waiting another 20 mins to get hooked up to the machine. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable! And quite frank, an extreme disregard of our time.
There are only 4 phlebotomist working the beds and 3 taking vitals; and only two donor questionnaire computers working.These 7 staff are no where near enough to accommodate the dozens of donors waiting to donate and be screened. While we wait, there are 18 unoccupied bed and machines not even set up. What’s the point of having an appointment system if the center cannot adhere appropriately to appointment times and staff accordingly.
This is an active waste of our time and an inefficient use of your resources. We understand that the bed wait is a system used to allow for beds to open up, but when we are waiting over an hour in the bed wait line, this system is no longer effective. I am extremely disappointed with how Bio Life Pomona lack efficiency.
Desired outcome: I would like to be compensated more for my ‘wasted’ time and the center not going off appointment times as it should. On the first donation, we get $50; but I would like us to get $10-$20 more of compensation for our time.

BioLife Plasma Services - Managment
The managers at the BioLife in Pomona are unprofessional, rude, and don't even know how to do their jobs. There were 2 managers specifically working Friday may 20th, who were extremely rude to a concerned customer. They didn't even give him any advice or try and fix his situation. Instead they made him leave and when he did, the guy said something to the girl that was really inappropriate about the situation. Noether one of them deserve to keep their job the way the acted. I will never again go back to the Pomona location because of the management.
Desired outcome: You should either write up the managers. Or even fire them for being so rude to customers

My appointment time was at 12:15 I was done with the first part of my appointment at 12:30 for exactly I went and sat down at the green station at 12:31 and was waiting for a phlebotomist to come and draw my blood several people who were behind me had got the process started on them before me I felt some type of way and this is the second time this happened the first time was on March 30, 2022 I then proceeded to make a phone call and explain that I was upset felt unwelcomed and racially profiled stating that I am the only dark skinned person in there and that the process everyone was running was very messy and unprofessional and I have never received this kind of treatment from the plasma center Then the manager comes up to me and tells me that I was talking about a particular phlebotomists which I was not I had no idea who was going to stick me I gave my overall general opinion to my sister on the phone The lady started getting loud with me I explain to her I said nothing bad about anyone and my heart rate started to go up I didn’t told her I don’t feel comfortable donating today and she told me that’s fine you will never come back here again and I then proceeded to walk out I was there for a total of one hour and 18 minutes and was not well taken care of by the staff members at bio life plasma I am truly disgusted and how the manager behaved herself today
Desired outcome: I was only going to get $65 today which I did not get paid and I got my finger states and I feel that I should get some of my desire pay I would like $65 dollars for this inconvenience
