My name is Lucia Ornelas and my membership no. is [protected] and this is my 2nd issue with Sam’s Club in San Bernardino California. My First issue happened on 8/3/2023 it was documented and the store manager called and I spoke with her regarding Carlos Lopez and how he embarrassed and belittled me in front of the customers for not being a plus member, if i could afford to be one i would so i could get the benefits. I left the store very very upset. I was told that I was the 3rd complaint that week and she would speak to him. My 2nd incident was 8/20/23 I did a return and they issued me my refund as store credit. They gave me a gift card and when I went to use it the card would not work. So I have to use my money to cover what was on the card. The cashier told me I needed to go to member services and let them know the card would not work. I went to member services and there was only one gal working and she couldn’t get the card to work. She called a manager on the phone the manager instructed her to do something on her end and it would not work. She called the store manager again and then told me. “sorry this is not gong to work you need to call member services to get take care of this. She seemed very irritated with me as I was holding up the line behind me. I asked her call you call your manager so I can talk with her and she said no that the manager said I have to call member services because they could do anything on their end.
I realize the refund was not a lot of money but it is my money and I felt like that is why they did not want to help me… I love shopping at Sam’s but it looks like their employees do not care on how they treat their customers.
