Sears and their product Stearns and Foster matresses proide very deceptive warranty. I spent lots of extra money to buy the Stearns and Foster EXPENSIVE mattress based on the 'super' warranty. This turned out to be a hoax. Everyone should know about how this works. They don't explain it when you spend the money - only when the mattress fails. The warranty only becomes effective if you can prove a certain amount of measurable sag in the mattress. We discovered after only 6 months of a '10 year warranty' the mattress started failing to support us. There are sleepless nights, back aches, anger, frustration, and aggravation beyond belief. When you lie on the bed the firmness and support are gone and you sink down into a valley curving your spine into painful curves. Now when you call Sears, they say you have to measure 1 1/2 inches of sag in the mattress with no one on it to enact the warranty. The deception lies in the fact that the mattress can lose the expensive firmness you paid for but when you get up off the bed the sag is not necessarily there - much less measurable. We now know this from experience. Everyone would be well advised to understand the deceptiveness of this 'warranty' - which costs plenty extra. Buyer beware - they are inflexible and are not interested in your satisfaction or health - even if they say they are.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
