I recently went through the del taco app and ordered food. When I arrived for my order (5 min after purchasing) they said they were closed and throw out all the food and orders when the clock strikes 12. First off, the app let me order after midnight, it let me pay after midnight, and it sent me a confirmation email to pick up my meal after midwnight. Then I get to the restaurant and a very rude employee tells me “we’re throwing out the food, deal with on the app.” There is nowhere to del with this on the app. I should not be able to make an order and be charged for it when a restaurant is closed. I should not be rudely disrespected at a del taco. This is unacceptable and I would like a refund. This happened at the location at 2426 Wiltshire blvd in Santa Monica CA. Please respond promptly or I will be forced to begin the charge back process.
Desired outcome: Refund. Update the app so this does not happen and waste everyone’s time and money.
