Check in- 8/10, Was told that my check in time was 3pm. With power outages, the male receptionist did what he could to help complete my transaction, and informed me, and 3 of my other family members that were also checking in rooms that we would get rooms in 20-30 minutes because they were short on cleaning staff.
When I asked 45 minutes later if my room was ready, the female receptionist (Julia or Juliette), was extremely rude, and unprofessional, as I asked her for her manager, she sarcastically stated that she was on vacation and was not taking phone calls. She would continue to book rooms on the phone, and promising availability, while the lobby had people waiting for clean rooms. I finally received my room 2 hours later, half [censored] cleaned.
I understand being short staffed, and overbooked, but it is imperative for the front staff to have a great attitude. Its a representation of your hotel. I traveled 5 hours to receive horrible service and a dirty room.
